Prices are absurd and the weed isn't that great. It's very dry. Just crushing it in your hand turns it into kief. That means they either get it from growers who dont know what theyre doing, or theyre selling you old product thats sat on the shelf for mad long. Its quite literally the same quality as the crappy weed they sell under the table in every gas station or smoke shop. Just drive the 45 minutes to Springfield and get significantly better product at a more reasonable price.

Ordered online-saw a 15% happy hour deal, no end time listed. Checkout gave me exact change for fifty-eight bucks, set pickup between five and five-thirty. Got there, lady rings me up same price takes my cash and was about to give me my change... until I asked about happy hour. Suddenly? Ends at five. Wait-so why'd they let me book inside that window? She calls the boss, comes back: now it's sixty-seven. Had no extra cash, walked out humiliated. Deceptive labels, confusing rules-if you're gonna cut deals, spell 'em out. Don't bait people with fake windows then punish 'em for trying to clarify. Won't be back

If you haven't been to a recreational cannabis store in Connecticut yet, here's some tips:- Bring your valid, age 21+ driver's license or state ID with you to the store.- Look at the website beforehand to have an idea of what product you might want. If you have questions, you may call or ask them when you come in.- There are usually 3 types of cannabis you may choose from: Sativa, Hybrid, or Indica. Within those types you may choose different strains. Ask the Venu staff if you have additional questions.- Lastly, and most importantly, in Connecticut, there is a state tax on recreational cannabis. Bring extra money to factor in the tax. The price online usually doesn't include the state tax.If you want to complain about the tax, please do not bother the Venu staff members. Call your legislators. 🙂
