I’ve been a regular at Higher Leaf in Factoria for a while now and usually have an awesome experience. The team is always super friendly, helpful, and I love how they hook it up with deals! That one dude, I think his name is Yato, has the best laugh, and Austin (the one with the nails) always gets me right. I’ve never had any issues with anyone else until recently.So last time I came in, I forgot my ID. No big deal, right? It’s happened before, and I’ve always been helped out since everybody knows me and, let’s be real, I’m clearly over 21. When I walked in, the guy at the door greeted me, and when I mentioned my ID, he said it shouldn’t be a problem. The store was empty, so I took my time looking at the displays.That’s when I first ran into this other dude, white guy—I think his name was Pat or Patrick? He came up real close like he was trying to sell me a car or something, which felt kinda weird. He started talking about all these sales and deals even though I didn’t ask. It was whatever, though, so I just nodded and kept it moving. When I got to the counter, the same guy was there to help me.Right away, I could tell something was off—he was talking like a robot, all stiff and awkward, and nothing like the vibe I’m used to. I got through the transaction, and then he asks for my ID. I told him I didn’t have it but that everybody usually remembers me, and I’m obviously over 21. He just said no, that he couldn’t serve me. Instead of asking someone who might know me or just using some common sense, he turned me away. Honestly, I was shocked, especially since he’s apparently the manager. If this is the direction the store’s going, I’m not sure I’ll be back.On top of that, he didn’t look professional at all—greasy hair, running pants, and zero personality. Is that really what a manager should look like? The whole experience was off-putting. Also, the store’s been looking more rundown every time I come in, and it feels old compared to the newer, modern stores. The equipment looks outdated, and you can tell the staff is frustrated. They look embarrassed working in a place that’s starting to fall apart. It’s disappointing because I love this spot, but I don’t know how much longer I’ll keep coming if things don’t change.
Love Higher Leaf-the only place I go. I tried something new today and after my purchase was made Austin came outside with me and set up my vape and showed me how to use it/charge it. He has EXCELLENT customer service!! Thanks Austin!
Went in to find something gentle but strong enough to melt the stress of work and kids. Fred not only helped me find exacltly what I was looking for and made me laugh so hard, he's a riot!! I just found my favorite Green Mann!
This shop was amazing. The employees are so patient and kind. They really take the time to understand your likes and suggest the best recommendation for you.
Always the friendliest greeting when you walk in. Quick service. Good selection; affordable choices as well! Happy to be their customer. Mind the parking, it's a bit difficult to see around the dip in the entryway when you pull in or back out. Otherwise A+++
Used to be great but now most the deals are really mediocre, they got rid of buy 7g and take 30% off for stock up Sundays, their 4/20 deal is just their regular deal of spend 300 take 30% off and overall got a lot more greedy after higher leaf took over which took a couple years of them owning it to see it seems, same thing happened to emerald haze after evergreen took over. On top of that on their 60-70$ concentrates like rosin they don’t even check to see how long it’s been on the shelves and the last 2 times I bought rosin it’s been hard as a rock (last time on 4/20 with constellation rosin). Staff is nice which is why I still gave them 3 stars. I could deal with the prices/deals not being as good as they used to be but I hate getting so much bunk oil/old flower when I’m paying top dollar. It doesn’t help many brands no longer put the date of harvest on packaging anymore so it’s up to the dispo to ensure people aren’t getting very old flower/oil and if it is expired at least take it off the shelves/put it in clearance instead of passing it off as normal. Feel really awkward trying to return opened concentrate as well and the website only mentions defective carts which at least is something they do well on returning. If you’re gonna sell old rosin/flower I think you need to open up that return policy a bit.
Owen is always so helpful and so nice! He always knows exactly what will work to medicate me! I really enjoy all the budtenders here but Owen is my favorite:) I always try to go in when he’s there!
Austin greeted me with enough energy to open my wallet all the way…but I didn’t because I’m coming back!Yatto was kind enough to prepare my order even though I was at the wrong location! He even called them to get the correct order. And Jacob was doing the do…supervising! 😊 Customer service at its best!Come see these dudes!
Betsy is a ROCKSTAR! She always helps me and has educated me on many many things. Even when I was getting ready to go in a trip, and I was worried about "stocking up", she helped make sure I had everything I needed and even coordinated with me to make sure I was taken care of! The entire staff is professional and helpful! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This place is amazing. They have great daily deals, super friendly staff! I ask everytime I go in for recommendations and they always give new ones and have never been disappointed. Chase, Cole, and Betsy to say a few names but every single person there knows what they are talking about and will treat you like a friend.
