This was my first time going to a dispensary by myself, and let me tell you I was anxious.All the employees are super chill. I was directed to Jessica’s register, and she was the most helpful person. She is super laid back and talks to you like you’ve been her friend for years. Just got my medicinal card and went here. Asked for a disposable, they sold me a cartridge. When I got to my car, I opened it and saw what it was. I went in to get what I asked for and was denied after waiting 10 minutes. I was told to just go spend more money up the road on a charger thing and the location didn’t even sell them. Also, the cartridge stopped working after a day and I bet they won’t do anything to make it right.

The was my first dispensary I’ve ever been to before. I got carded multiple times just for some edibles. The Botanist feels like I’m standing in line at a methadone clinic. Weed is supposed to relax your nerves, but I was kind of on edge when entering the building. I wish it was more like a smoke or jewelry shop where you could browse on your own and point to what you want for purchase. I enjoyed coming to this dispensary, but prices may be cheaper elsewhere, and the vibes may align with weed rather than narcotics.

Disappointed. I placed an online order at 11am. One of the products was out of stock. Instead of pulling the remainder or the order or notifying me if I’d like to change the product for something else, i show up at 3pm to be told my order was canceled and I’d have to wait in line. That’s the whole point of placing an order ahead of time to avoid the line. Communication is key to good customer service

Everybody I've met there has been very helpful and friendly, and often I'll ask them for suggestions... and they've been good. The place is neat, clean, orderly, and safe. The parking lot always has a place to park when I've been there. Weekends can be bad, and I suggest that you call ahead to find out (if they answer the phone) or order ahead online. Today, I went there in 90° heat to pick up the battery/pen, and I was told it could be an hour waiting outside in the heat. I didn't need the pen that bad, so I'll come back during the week.As far as the expense goes, I keep telling myself that it costs a lot of money to make that great big building behind that much smaller enclosure waiting room and the store where we purchase the medical or recreational... cultivation, taxes, labor cost, ... and etcetera.

First and last time here. It's unfortunate there's not many dispensaries in southern NJ. I don't recommend this place due to the extreme attitude the girl at the register gave me while on site. I'll continue to drive out of state to go to my regular places (I moved here and thought it would be nice to visit this one). I was asking questions and she acted like doing her job was a burden. She was also incredibly rude and demeaning. They also don't have ANY of the product in stock that I actually wanted. This place is nowhere near as professional and informative as my dispensaries I frequent in Massachusetts. I'm sure they do just fine from the people who have no idea how it could be visiting these places but they'll never get a single penny from me.

Poorly run. Management cares for little other than their own interests. Closes early on a regular basis. I just walked up with 20 minutes to close and the security guard tells me “they told me to cut the line off”. Line cut procedures are useful for when you have a long line that you don’t believe will be serviced properly in the time you have. There’s 20 minutes and no line. Make it make sense.

This place is not only the worst dispensary in a state where the bar is not set very high, it is a poorly staffed, mismanaged and terribly run business. They sell mid grade product at unreasonably high prices. They have no sense of customer service. Nearing the end of the day, they will slam the door on customers who have been waiting for 30 minutes plus. From personal experience, 15 minutes before closing, they let 5 people in and indiscriminately excluded the final 3 people. They offered no apology but added that they close early when they feel like it. Miserable experience fostered by ill mannered employees and a mismanaged business. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!!!!

Today was my first visit here out of just curiosity of what they had to offer. I payed 70 bucks for an 1/8 of tiny stale buds that had obviously been through a tumbler like most dispensaries! Over 500 bucks an ounce for mid grade flower is ridiculous I can buy much better quality not tumbled or stale for 200/ounce I get it you're a business and the taxes but that's insane mark up. this is coming from a medical patient…Once you go to the williamstown location, you’ll never go back to EHT. I’ve never known how my bud tenders are supposed to talk to me, but once I went to Williamstown they seemed much more professional. Williamstown feels like a business, EHT feels like a club where a bunch of employees are just “hanging out”. Nothing inherently negative, but I was put in multiple situations where my tenders thought it was appropriate to flirt with me the entire transaction, there have been multiple male employee that have gone out of their way to make me uncomfortable.I’ve recently realized with recreational patients, they took away the entrance and exit signs… I’ve almost been hit 4 times trying to leave while rec patients come zooming through the exit & patient parking. I’ve reached out on multiple occasions trying to get it fixed before someone got hurt but it’s now been over a month. I only go to the one in EHT because I do not have the time to go to williamstown, but I DO NOT PERFER EHT.

Site says Adult use times are from 2pm-7pm on Sunday. I show up at 5:20 and see the line isn’t bad at all. I’d be in and out in 30min. Pull up and security says they aren’t taking anymore recreational sales today. Apparently they started turning people down at 4pm. How does that make sense? TWO hours after they open up for recreational sales and they stop letting anybody get in line. This place clearly doesn’t care about its money. This is exactly why the black market is gonna continue to thrive. Not to mention the absurd prices.

My first time visiting was yesterday. The two guys at the front counter were very nice and helped me out. Placing the order online was very easy. They didn’t have as much selection as I’d like- they really only have bud, a few carts, and a few lozenges. They did have a nice bud selection. Their website is weird though. When you go to the lozenges, they say 350mg in the description, but also say 3500mg right underneath that. It’s like that for 2 of the products. The receipt had some typos too. Why does a medical service have so many careless mistakes on their website and receipt? I got a cartridge on sale for $30, which is nice, but I got it 2/7/22 and it says it expires 2/10/22. So I guess that’s why it was on sale. I also got 1/8 of bud, which I haven’t actually tried yet, but the entire time it was being packaged the guy kept saying I got 1/4. I will probably go back because it is the closest dispensary, but I am definitely going to try other businesses

I was and still am in so much pain and went first thing in the morning but they were so busy so I decided to place an online order at 10:36 am. 36 minutes after they opened. On the website it said what I needed was in stock, I did not get any text or email saying my order was ready so when I went back around 1:30 to check if it was, they said it’s been ready for about 20 minutes at that point. I went ahead and waited another 20 minutes in-line when I got there and the person helping me started to pack an item I did not order. I told her I didn’t buy those and got the gummies, she then proceeded to give me a different type of soft gummies which I’ve previously purchased but they did not work for me. How are you going to tell someone who is dependent on this that you have the item in stock, wait hours and then it’s not even available and try and give them something else. This place is so unorganized - I’m not coming back here.

Great place to get your meds. Especially since they offer "shake" for $37 an 8th. It's really not even shake just small buds. Here are some pics of some of their strains through a x60 microscope. This jar just happened to have what the bud tender called "a keif explosion" lol which I was pleasantly surprised with. Normally they do not look like this I just wanted to show what I got lucky enough to receive one time and the other pictures are of another 8th of shake. No bugs, no chemical taste, great euphoria and relaxation. Would recommend at least signing up and visiting once or twice 10/10

Currently my preferred dispensary despite the 52 minute drive. Bud is tended pretty well, large selection that doesn't run low, quality customer service both in store and over the phone. They also consistently have higher potency levels of bud than Curaleaf, which until now was my frequented dispensary. If you are physically able to make the drive here over Curaleaf, and care about the quality of your bud and the treatment of customers, do it. The shake is also way better, less processing leaves more substance.

Very easily accessible with my scooter which is helpful. I never experience long lines but the parking sucks! They have maybe TWO handicap spaces & they're never available when we go there. Just got my medicinal card and went here. Asked for a disposable, they sold me a cartridge. When I got to my car, I opened it and saw what it was. I went in to get what I asked for and was denied after waiting 10 minutes. I was told to just go spend more money up the road on a charger thing and the location didn’t even sell them. Also, the cartridge stopped working after a day and I bet they won’t do anything to make it right.

The was my first dispensary I’ve ever been to before. I got carded multiple times just for some edibles. The Botanist feels like I’m standing in line at a methadone clinic. Weed is supposed to relax your nerves, but I was kind of on edge when entering the building. I wish it was more like a smoke or jewelry shop where you could browse on your own and point to what you want for purchase. I enjoyed coming to this dispensary, but prices may be cheaper elsewhere, and the vibes may align with weed rather than narcotics.

Instead of pulling the remainder or the order or notifying me if I’d like to change the product for something else, i show up at 3pm to be told my order was canceled and I’d have to wait in line. I didn't need the pen that bad, so I'll come back during the week.As far as the expense goes, I keep telling myself that it costs a lot of money to make that great big building behind that much smaller enclosure waiting room and the store where we purchase the medical or recreational... cultivation, taxes, labor cost, ... and etcetera.

I just walked up with 20 minutes to close and the security guard tells me “they told me to cut the line off”. Line cut procedures are useful for when you have a long line that you don’t believe will be serviced properly in the time you have. There’s 20 minutes and no line. Make it make sense.

This place is not only the worst dispensary in a state where the bar is not set very high, it is a poorly staffed, mismanaged and terribly run business. They sell mid grade product at unreasonably high prices. They have no sense of customer service. Nearing the end of the day, they will slam the door on customers who have been waiting for 30 minutes plus. From personal experience, 15 minutes before closing, they let 5 people in and indiscriminately excluded the final 3 people. this is coming from a medical patient…Once you go to the williamstown location, you’ll never go back to EHT. I’ve never known how my bud tenders are supposed to talk to me, but once I went to Williamstown they seemed much more professional. Williamstown feels like a business, EHT feels like a club where a bunch of employees are just “hanging out”. Nothing inherently negative, but I was put in multiple situations where my tenders thought it was appropriate to flirt with me the entire transaction, there have been multiple male employee that have gone out of their way to make me uncomfortable.I’ve recently realized with recreational patients, they took away the entrance and exit signs… I’ve almost been hit 4 times trying to leave while rec patients come zooming through the exit & patient parking. I’ve reached out on multiple occasions trying to get it fixed before someone got hurt but it’s now been over a month. I only go to the one in EHT because I do not have the time to go to williamstown, but I DO NOT PERFER EHT.

Pull up and security says they aren’t taking anymore recreational sales today. Apparently they started turning people down at 4pm. How does that make sense? TWO hours after they open up for recreational sales and they stop letting anybody get in line. This place clearly doesn’t care about its money. On more than one occasion the flower I purchased had a ton of seeds in it (and this was small and whole buds, not shake). My first time visiting was yesterday. The two guys at the front counter were very nice and helped me out. Placing the order online was very easy. They didn’t have as much selection as I’d like- they really only have bud, a few carts, and a few lozenges. They did have a nice bud selection. Their website is weird though. When you go to the lozenges, they say 350mg in the description, but also say 3500mg right underneath that. It’s like that for 2 of the products. The receipt had some typos too. Why does a medical service have so many careless mistakes on their website and receipt? I got a cartridge on sale for $30, which is nice, but I got it 2/7/22 and it says it expires 2/10/22. So I guess that’s why it was on sale. I also got 1/8 of bud, which I haven’t actually tried yet, but the entire time it was being packaged the guy kept saying I got 1/4. I will probably go back because it is the closest dispensary, but I am definitely going to try other businesses

I was and still am in so much pain and went first thing in the morning but they were so busy so I decided to place an online order at 10:36 am. 36 minutes after they opened. On the website it said what I needed was in stock, I did not get any text or email saying my order was ready so when I went back around 1:30 to check if it was, they said it’s been ready for about 20 minutes at that point. I went ahead and waited another 20 minutes in-line when I got there and the person helping me started to pack an item I did not order. I told her I didn’t buy those and got the gummies, she then proceeded to give me a different type of soft gummies which I’ve previously purchased but they did not work for me. How are you going to tell someone who is dependent on this that you have the item in stock, wait hours and then it’s not even available and try and give them something else. This place is so unorganized - I’m not coming back here.

I love this place out of all the dispensaries I have been to and I’ve been medicating with marijuana since I’ve been 14 and I’m 63, they are the most educated people willing to help you,willing to call you back, willing to text you and speak to you. Their staff is very knowledgeable courteous and friendly. The place is pristine and it’s a very easy drive. I actually drive an hour and a half to get there but I like their product I like their levels and I like their place.

I personally love The Botanist. The staff recognizes me every time I walk in (even after stocking up and not shopping for a couple of weeks) and knows what I like. As someone who deals with seizures, I’ve asked many questions about their products and am always given an answer. Great place to get your meds. Especially since they offer "shake" for $37 an 8th. It's really not even shake just small buds. Here are some pics of some of their strains through a x60 microscope. This jar just happened to have what the bud tender called "a keif explosion" lol which I was pleasantly surprised with. Normally they do not look like this I just wanted to show what I got lucky enough to receive one time and the other pictures are of another 8th of shake. No bugs, no chemical taste, great euphoria and relaxation. Would recommend at least signing up and visiting once or twice 10/10

Currently my preferred dispensary despite the 52 minute drive. Bud is tended pretty well, large selection that doesn't run low, quality customer service both in store and over the phone. They also consistently have higher potency levels of bud than Curaleaf, which until now was my frequented dispensary. If you are physically able to make the drive here over Curaleaf, and care about the quality of your bud and the treatment of customers, do it. The shake is also way better, less processing leaves more substance.

Love the new building. The staff are very helpful & well educated. As far as I'm aware this facility has the best variety & options. Plus it's not far from my house! Very easily accessible with my scooter which is helpful. I never experience long lines but the parking sucks! They have maybe TWO handicap spaces & they're never available when we go there. We usually have to park across the street which is why I have to bring my scooter.
