The owners take advantage of the clients lack of choice. Everything made sense once I found out the owner is just an old rich white man who doesn’t even use the product he sells. Monopolization the industry in New orleans With this store. They over charge everything. The prices are so astronomical it’s comical. Not only are they charging triple the pricing. They clearly are not in it to help the people that need it. The store is not for the community. They’re taking advantage of peoples pockets in this store. Not only that. They Charge insane pricing But can’t pay their workers a livable wage. When the people working, there are the only reason people keep coming back because the people that work there are phenomenal and the owner needs to remind himself how lucky he is to have those people around him. It’s cheaper to grow your own because this man that owns this shop and this company will continue to take advantage of the people of New orleans and visitors. I can’t recommend enough, not giving your money to this establishment. An eighth can be upwards 75$ here. A gummy can be 35. It’s just pricing they use to take advantage of the lack of options here in New Orleans
I came from out of state and they were able to get the paperwork fast. But then didn't act like they knew what to do, the people are amazing but management need to get it together
We’re from out of town and the dispensary finally approved us to purchase through them since we have a medical card in another state. We was happy about that and drove all the way back over. They told us they was about to close at 5 and it was 4:50 when we got there. One lady was very nice and said she’d help especially knowing we’re from out of town, and the other lady said nope not today. I’m closing so come back tomorrow. I get it was almost closing time and I had to wait for approval in the first place but why be rude and turn me away before actual closing time. I hope that’s not how they handle business in Louisiana smh
The only reason I’m leaving a second star is because of the quality of the products. From flower, to edibles, vapes, prerolls- OUTSTANDING! They’re wonderful.However where we are lacking IMMENSELY is the customer service aspect. My first delivery request was placed on a Thursday, I selected Friday as my delivery date. Friday came, online it says that the order had been completed and it worried me. Had I missed it? Did I make a mistake? I was concerned so I called the store. This is the second time I’ve spoken with the same woman and although I understand busy days, busy lives, maybe stressful things in our own lives- she was again quite rude in her responses to my questions. While simply trying to explain that I didn’t want there to have been a mistake on MY end, that I didn’t want to waste their time or anything- I was interrupted and talked over again and again. She expressed that the website saying it’s been completed has “nothing to do with them” as well as “the dates don’t reflect us” and that I’d be getting a call on Monday. You would think that the company’s website would have everything to do with them? The call came on Monday JUST to take my payment and the woman on the phone who received my payment (who was SP KIND and gentle) let me know my driver would be there tomorrow. Tuesday came, my driver was kind, and I tipped him well in cash.NOW. This is my SECOND (and last, quite frankly) delivery order. I placed it on Tuesday of last week, selecting THURSDAY as my delivery date. It is now TUESDAY and I haven’t even gotten the call to receive my payment for my delivery- assuming that I’m going to have to wait another day until it is delivered. I am frustrated to say the very least.I am a stay at home parent, suffering from post traumatic stress disorder, epilepsy, severe anxiety as well as crippling depression at times. While understanding that businesses get busy, sometimes we’re understaffed, and sometimes we carry our own stresses into our work environment- I would like to think that if we are treating this as a MEDICAL PHARMACEUTICAL FACILITY- that we would be a little more concerned about the gentle treatment of our guests and their medical needs. I cannot, in good conscience, carry my three children into a dispensary to pick up my medication. I would like to call again just to check on my status but I am afraid that I will receive the same treatment from the same individual that has answered my calls previously.Is there any way that the dates we choose could reflect the actual dates we receive our medication? Should I be placing an order I wish to receive TWO WEEKS in advance at times? Please. With the prices we are paying for this medication, understandably so due to the monopoly in this area, could we perhaps update the website where it reflects the dates we select accordingly? Another bad experience at H&W dispensary, mis information and lack of clarity is the problem. I have a significant other that also uses this establishment and we both are being given different information. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to go here.
Though still high the prices are much better than other dispensaries. I've used another closer to where I live but it's cheaper to cross the lake. They were nice and helpful.
Terrible experience, first told me it will only take 30 minutes and had me waiting for the half an hour to tell me to come back another time/day and had to leave without my medications. The reason was it was “too late in the day”. They closed 2 hours after I left. Valid ID’s, valid prescriptions. Terrible process and the most rude and condescending people working there. BBB will hear about this
The workers there are all being fired and taken out by the military because of their illegal backdoor selling through patients names and prescriptions. Also they are all known terrorists that have cursed at me each time I go to pick up my prescription. This facility and all of it's products should be treated with respect and care but alass that is impossible with all the inhumane workers there.
Edit yet again:HORRIFIC service. The system doesn't work and regularly gives the incorrect delivery dates, as well as product that isn't available.When I call to check on the order that should have been processed, staff interrupts me, doesn't share their name, and are incredibly rude. They have zero ability to be kind to people who are sick with disabilities.No other pharmacy would be able to operate this way legally or be accepted to continue. Patients are sick and don't deserve to be treated this way nor have to deal with the systemic issues on top of being ill. No patient should be treated like an inconvenience for asking for their medicine to be done when the company's own system has said it will be.If you can, go anywhere else.LOL the pharmacist hung up on me and then directed the staff to tell me what she should have when I called back. This is not adult customer service and it isn't healthcare..............I'm leaving my original frustrated feedback up, as I do wish the delivery system worked better and the prices were not 4x as much as other states.HOWEVER, the manager (I think) called me back immediately and is getting my order delivered so I don't go without medication before the weekend is over. Which is RARE for me to be heard and helped so quickly and so well. THANK YOU for listening and fixing this mistake..........This store does not deliver when they say they will, leaving disabled patients without their medication. When I called to complain, the customer service rep didn't care and told me the supervisor wasn't even there. He kept trying to ask me to problem solve how to get my meds after I had ordered on time AND over 200 dollars for free delivery.This is ableist and unacceptable from a pharmacy. You overcharge and exploit sick people and then don't even do your agreed contract. I deserve a refund and you need a consultant to come in and fix your procedure issues.
The staff is great in person and over the phone. I expressed to them my wish they would carry wax budder. Although it hasn't happened yet. I appreciate that they listened and I remain hopeful. They have great specials on flower that help me to stay on a budget. Bring cash.

Today was the first time I went to H & W Dispensary and was very impressed. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The pharmacist was great, he explained the different products that will help me. THE FACILITY WAS GREAT!
Nope I'm in the healthcare field and memorized the HIPPA Law!-and if you are a legit healthcare facility you would take the appropriate channels to request medical records. Read up on HIPPA!I just changed the stars to 3 instead of 1. Good luck in taking care of patients and their needs!--so don't leave a hate response.Apparently this dispensary has never heard of HIPPA!They called the medical office where my brother works...They were asking to verify a patient and their medical condition over the phone. Interesting.Well, just to give them a definition on privacy laws. I'll enclose the definition here:HIPPA: The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA) is a federal law that required the creation of national standards to protect sensitive patient health information from being disclosed without the patient's consent or knowledge.If I were you, I would not go here.When my brother repeatedly told the girl on the phone that he cannot disclose information without the patients consent....She just hung up.
I’m always in and out. Friendly staff. I’ve only had one minor issue in over a year, a mixup with two near-identical products. They fixed it on the spot within a couple minutes. They call when something is out of stock or mistyped on the website.And having two locations is a big help! I can plan my pickup based on where I’m going that day.
I’ve received products from H&W at the Metairie location for 4 months. The products have been good, but the service is terrible. My recent delivery order in August 2023 was very damaged. My gummies were 70% melted. I guess the delivery driver left my order in the hot car for a while before reaching my address!For September, I switched my order to pick up. I called for 5 consecutive days asking if my order was ready. I got the same answer each time, “They’re still working on it.” On day 5 I called again and demanded to know exactly what they were working on. Employee on the phone checked and said, “oh… looks like it’s been ready for 4 days. Someone forgot to click ‘ready’.” 😡 I suppose when you don’t have competition in the market, you can do what you want!
Worst "dispensary" or MMJ pharmacy in the entire United States of America. Employees are rude and lacking in knowledge about the products they are selling as well as the relevant laws. They will outright lie to the patient's face because that's what they've been instructed to do.Owner is a greedy person who doesn't care about the patients at all. He will sell you a product all day long at ridiculous retail price, triple that of other states, but when try to buy something on sale at price that's less of a ripoff, then they limit your purchase. Even then, they are not consistent in the limits, because the owner doesn't tell the employees the correct information and they often have to wing it.
They provide a service but it could be more inviting. The hours are 9-5 and no weekends so goodluck visiting if you have a job. The prices are pretty absurd too. I don't expect street prices but did expect it to be within a 200% price difference... hard to patronize when they charge an extra $40 on my 3.5g. I want to be a fan but it feels like a ripoff.
This place is the most disorganized unproductive business I’ve ever been to. The staff is useless, the products are the poorest quality I’ve ever had, and the prices are astronomical. This state has a lot of catching up to do
I’ve been waiting nearly a month for this dispensary to get back to me regarding forms I filed for my reciprocal NY prescription. As a result, I cannot recommend them. Very poor customer service.EDIT: In reply to H&W's response, I completed the forms as directed, including all contact info for my prescribing physician, whom you said you would contact. (I'm aware of the law in Louisiana.)
Edit: It has been a few months since I originally left this review. I'm not sure if they have fired the absolutely horrid customer service staff members, or just had a talk with them about being professional to their clients, but whatever they did, it worked! I still have issues virtually every month with my order that requires me to call and speak with someone, but the people I've spoken with every time I've called over the past few months have been phenomenal! They have all been very polite, respectful, and above all, helpful. I can't give 5 stars simply because I still having issues with my order every month. However the helpfulness and respect being shown by the improved customer service agents has brought my 1 star review up to 4 stars.This place is an absolute clusterf***. They lose prescriptions (or "recommendations" as they call them), they fill the wrong item sometimes, the employees don't communicate with one another to pass along vital information about orders, etc. Then, when you have to call in, you have about a 50/50 shot of getting someone who is professional and at least attempts to help, or someone who is rude, and will just yell at you for their mistake. I've been going there for close to a year now, and I've yet to have a single month that was problem free. I guess since they are the only medical marijuana dispensary in town, they know they don't have to be good, or even decent at their jobs since customers can't go anywhere else. If I could leave zero stars I would, and if there was ANYWHERE else I could go for my medicine, I most certainly would.
On day three of trying to pick up my order. Been to both veterans and tchoupitoulas. Each one of those trips is an hour round trip in traffic. Had to submit same order 3 different times. Order was cancelled and I wasn't told. The website is slow and confusing. Just not worth it. They seem nice, just very bad communication with the patient.
My husband had a massive stroke and 2 months later had another stroke. He has seizures, muscle spasticity, severe arthritis, pain, paralyzed and other issues. He would have 1 -2 seizures a week and has only had 1 in the past 5 months since starting medical marijuana. He has not taken one pain pill, whereas he was taking one to two a day. H & W has been a God send for him. His meds have always been quickly filled from the time I ordered and everyone from the front desk to the those getting his meds have been nice, knowledgeable, and professional. My questions are always answered respectfully. I have recommended H & W dispensary to several people and they all have had the same positive experiences. My husband has made tremendous progress in his recovery and it is largely due to this dispensary and the people who work there providing me with the information I need to help my husband.
TERRIBLE!!! I would give you no starts if that was an option. ZERO customer service. The STAFF IS SUPER RUDE and the business is in much need of help improving patient care!!! The ordering system is a HOT MESS!!!!!! Takes 48 hours or MORE for them to complete your order and ZERO communication when it is ready. (I have been waiting for 4 days now... online says complete but noooo got to wait for that "text" that sometimes you'll never receive).I understand supply and demand, but it is completely unacceptable for you to place an order and then after more than 48 hours they give you a "mmm oh well we ran out and we did not pull it from the system before then" they take zero responsibility for their patients needs.Oh and the prices are ridiculous; one week the same strain is $55 the next day $65? now explain that to me! so they overcharge the patients to make up for running low.I ordered a specific strain for my medical condition which was $100 for 7g... finally something reasonable! It took forever for them to finally complete the order and send a "text" saying that it was ready. Went to pick it up and it was the same strain but they only gave me 3.5g for $65!!! LIKE OK.... makes no sense and they never give you an explanation.2.14.21 BEAWARE they can TAMPER with your medication!!! bags not sealed for "whatever reason... They never give you one".Oh and check them BEFORE you leave... after that THEY DO NOT CARE!!!!!!!!! and make sure to WEIGHT your product.AVOID this dispensary! Transfer to one where they care!
I had a card in New York and they started out similar to Louisiana. High prices, unorganized and only a few products. They always gave a 10% social security discount and in time they created sales of 30% off. Their variety got much better and it was a good value. I’m hoping Louisiana gets to that point soon. Right now they are way too expensive and are experiencing growing pains, probably never realized they would do so much business. Good luck on improving.
I just want to say I made my first visit today an was nervous. They are professional about the whole process great customer service from the young man in the front window. I’ll be coming here often the place was busy but they handle the pressure of being overwhelmed like pros impressive. In an out in under 10 mins with a crowd that alone is an achievement. 5 stars from me keep up the great work very informative helping me understand the process an taking care of me!!!!
Extremely efficiently ran business! Always treated with respect and a smile. I had to utilize their delivery option and was even more impressed. Although, the delivery fee could be a little less. Because driving is challenging at times with my health issues, it's convenient. If its true, I can't wait for the second location to open on Paris Ave.

So don't expect better. Expect the bare minimum? Low or no inventory. High prices. Poor or nonexistent customer service. 2-4 day pickup. Limited purchase rights. Shall I go on? No wonder they have control over the area? So you're limited in rights and choices. Wish I could swap places w/o the stupid consequences. For about two weeks now(Oct 11,2022) they have only had one flower choice and two edibles? They will again say it's their supply issue. NO! It's their poor business choices
So the prices are a little high ($65 an eighth.) I will give you that. It is coming down on some strains tho. But you do get what you pay for. I love having legit strains and brands to buy. The entire process is super easy. Order online and 95% of the time it’s ready the next day. I also check once a day to see if there’s new strains that pop up on their site. If they could get all their strains under $50 an eighth it would totally be five stars. Also if the cartridges weren’t so high priced I would buy those too.
Where are the nice ladies that used to work here? That new clear lady in the front needs some customer service classes. She needs a script too! Came from VI to be told i can get meds in 24 to 48 hrs, and next time place my order online(very sternly). Got home and saw a text saying ready!UpdateI have to change my review. The ordering process was very easy once I followed protocol. Place your order online, then get a text that day saying ready. The people in the front were fast and efficient, and the people in the back were extremely nice and helpful. The meds are great, but kinda pricey. They need a better selection, but thats not on them. I will recommend this business!
I Love this Dispensery! The staff are always friendly and efficient and I am always usually in and out 95% of the time within five minutes. They always have what I want in stock and I’ve never had an issue picking up my medication. The only complaint I can think of are the prices are a little steep other than that two thumbs up
The positive, the place is clean looking in the lobby. The negative, the greet was missing. I was there in July 21 around 2pm. My expectations were a simple Hello Welcome, how can I assist you today. And an explanation of the possible as I am new to Louisiana from Michigan, things are different. Maybe take time to explain the process instead of being dismissive and just saying no. I thought southern hospitality was a thing? Just not here.
I was quite nervous about the recommendation to try this as an option. However, I am so glad I followed the recommendation. Beginning with the consultation with the Pharmacist, picking up my prescription and today for the first time having it delivered, all phases have been professional and timely.It means a lot when the driver is out and the owner shows up to make sure the service is prompt. H&W is a five star business.
I am more than pleased with H & W! The staff is ALWAYS 100% on point. The products R in my opinion top of line. I have recommended this service to all my friends. I’m 70 years old and my quality of life has improved and I’m mobile, happy and have never slept better in my life. THANK YOU H & W
These guys are good, but their manufacturer's quality is inconsistent. I've refilled my tincture prescription three times now, and each time the tinctures are different strength and effectiveness. The Balanced tincture was great the first time, but it's strength dwindles as the bottle empties (yes I shake the bottle) and you have to alter your dosage while trying not to overdue it. And the Dream tincture had a nice vanilla flavor the first time, but did nothing and was useless; this recent refill it works good but the flavor of the thc is overwhelming, which tells me that it's quality is inconsistent.Point is, I don't have a problem with this place (especially since they're the only place in town) but whatever brand/manufacturer fulfills their inventory is sketchy and unreliable; especially at these prices.
I've been a patient visiting H & W for about a month now and have had nothing but good experiences. The folks behind the counter are always friendly and courteous, the turnaround times for placing an online order is only a couple of days, the website is regularly updated with products, and the products themselves have been high quality thus far. All of that is even more impressive considering they are one dispensary serving a huge area with skyrocketing demand.Keep up the good work! Looking forward to visiting H & W again soon.
Kayla and other friendly staff members were really helpful and friendly, helped me find a product in store that they did not have online, they have a pretty decent selection of medicines in each category of your preference.******EditHad a different experience my second trip, the online ordering system is poor at best right now, no concentrates/vapes online when I ordered 24 hours ago and when I get to the store they say they’ve updated with a bunch of new stuff, only to be denied access to them while in store,I would have have to go online, order again, and wait another 48+ hours, not great.
Amazing staff!!! I have been a patient for a long time and I am so happy to see their business grow and see so many people find relief. Especially with the new online ordering, they are efficient, kind, and so helpful.
I want to start by saying I’ve been with H&W from day 1, about 18 months of service. Yes there have been some growing pains but at this point it is all worked out. Trust and believe as a fellow business owner I am grateful for the diligence shown by the staff and owners in pursuing excellent service. It’s been my pleasure to grow with you! I would say they have “arrived” but the effort is so strong I can’t wait to see the growth in this company. Friendly staff, clean and safe environment and wonderful management and ownership!

Glad to see I am by far not the only one having a bad experience with this dispensary. It seems to be only this dispensary (H&W) that is experiencing the myriad of issues at hand. Everything you hear is true. You can hardly ever get through on the phone. Sometimes you just have to call and call and call until someone answers. Their new phone system forwards you to a voice messaging system after 3 rings, they tell you to leave a message, but the inbox is ALWAYS full. They tell you to look on their website for availability of products, that website is hardly ever accurate or updated. They tell you to get the app so you don’t have to call, the app DOES NOT WORK, it barely even exists. They are short staffed, wait times are incredibly long. Sometimes you place an order and get there for them to say “oh we ran out of that, sorry” - one would think the dispensary would know how much product they have so they don’t go making promises they cannot keep. The prices are some of the highest in the state (no price cut for buying in bulk!!!) The flower of LSU AG is by far superior product to any of the flower coming from Southern University. Southern University can’t even trim their buds properly. I hope they shape up quickly because I hear it’s much less of a hassle to just drive the 2 hours to Baton Rouge’s dispensary and back. One thing that obviously needs to happen to help them is hiring more staff.
I've been a patient for close to a year now. No one could have anticipated exactly how big the green rush would be in January when flower became available. However, H&W continues to adapt and meet the challenges of being the first medical marijuana pharmacy in New Orleans. With the new app, text message alert, and phone hold system, the refill experience has improved vastly. Oh. Got to go. I just got my text from H&W.
Have been going to H & W for over six months, and every experience has been professional and warm. They are busy, and for good reason! Appreciate the knowledge and help from the Xavier Rx students as well as the helpful and kind staff. The space is safe, clean and easily accessible.
Happy to have access to the products, but I do not believe your customer service is anywhere near where it could be or should be. It's impossible to get anyone on the phone, they do not return voicemails, and frequently when I do actually get a person, the line will go dead without warning. When I attempted to address my concerns with the lady I just spoke to on the phone, I was told that the entire issue stems from the fact that there are only 9 dispensaries and 2 growers in the state. These are both, indeed, true. But to lean on this for poor customer service, constantly missing deadlines. At these prices, you absolutely could afford to expand your phone based customer service, and order processing. Please take this to heart. I'm willing to alter or amend this review if a member of management wants to contact me.
The staff is super friendly and helpful. I was very nervous about getting on the medical program, but the people here are so easy to talk to, laid back, and not judgmental. Quality of their products is out of this world. I HIGHLY recommend the lilac diesel flower. If you’re having trouble getting through on the phone, please remember that this place is serving the entire city all by themselves, and It really seems to me that they are trying their absolute best to be as accommodating as humanly possible. I am so grateful for this place.
This is the 1st medical dispensary in the city and the products they have are A1. Despite the overload they are experiencing they are in my opinion still adapting and making things work. This is the only place where you can come and get high quality medicinal marijuana and they are only getting better. Check them out Today! You won't regret it!
Look, I’m giving 3 stars out of the kindness of my heart and I so badly want to give more to one of Louisiana’s only dispensaries, but every employee there needs an attitude adjustment. QUITE distinctly different than any other dispensary I have ever been to. They are rude, they rush you, they have disconnected their phone so I can’t even call to make sure my prescription made it through to them, lastly, they ran out of cannabis… what kind of pharmacy runs out of medicine? Only a dispensary in Louisiana, that’s for sure. Come on guys, y’all work in the cannabis industry but don’t have any chill? Maybe y’all need to smoke sum to help y’all relax.. I hope this place gets better because there is so much potential.
On tincture and inhalants (pods) for four months. I can honestly say these products WORK. I would prefer getting off my pharmaceutical medications due to all the horrible side effects, then your doctor changes your cocktail (as they call it) more side effects. The cycle continues and I feel by that time what have you become? Within the first month, with tincture & pods, the difference was extraordinary. For the people that think it's the same as smoking recreational IT'S NOT!!! You DO NOT get the high with Medical Marijuana. You get the medicinal side extracted from the Cannabis plant. It's all natural. If you believe in Science & Art of Herbalism from everyday plants that grow in your own back yard. It's no difference.On another note, I had problems phoning in as well a couple of days ago. The "light bulb" went off just to remember FLOUR had just hit the streets of New Orleans. How overwhelming those days for H & W must have been? I've encountered nothing but courteous, friendly smiling faces. Professional, educational, and willing to answer my many questions I had via phone or in person. Go into this with an OPEN MIND. Times are changing people. Computer world is now so MODERN TECHNOLOGY why not the medical world become an all NATURAL APPROACH?
I don't understand that they not answer there phone. I had to call and call over 50 to 60 times. Just to get someone to answer then, hung up on me. Then have to start all over again. They tell its taking 2 to 3 days to fill the rx for the flower. They tell me to wait for the text for when it ready. But are they doing that for everyone? So what are they doing about the people that's walking in there?
Professional and helpful staff, answered all my questions and provided suggestions to help me decide the best course of treatment for my situation.I would like to add to this review as it has been about 3 months now that I have conducted business with H & W Pharmacy. I love this business, even more so because it is locally owned. They are absolutely the best! The staff is always super friendly and helpful, but the best part for me is that they deliver!!! I live about 15 miles from the Pharmacy, but it is located in the city, I avoid driving in the city whenever possible. It so worth the delivery fee to have my medication delivered and avoid the hassle of driving in an unfamiliar area. 5 STARS H&W HAS THE BEST SERVICE!!!

I was as excited as everyone and this isn’t really a review of the pharmacy since I didn’t see a garden but WOW. Does someone who actually knows the effects of Marijuana monitor this product on the state level? It reminded me if near beer because I it looks and smells right but it’s Not Pot. It’s weird really since I can’t imagine it costs anymore to grow good product than it costs to grow whatever this is so I don’t get it. Speaking of cost that was really adding insult to injury. Maybe that’s the reason for the quality. Makes sense we’ll blow through the approximately 2 tablespoons you get for $80 relatively quickly in an effort to feel any better, feel anything. The Vapes were worse at almost $100 for about a week’s supply. Not much different than CBD pens I bought online for 1/3 the price. You sell it as medicine! Who can afford $100 a week for medicine? This is sadly not surprising (at least the pricing) but nevertheless so disappointing. And they call the dealers criminals.
It feels like the pill mills during the 90’s in Miami.I have no other choice there it reminds me of a monopoly.The quality is lacking the product is expensive and drab.Thank you for trying but this is not even a half measure. And choices there are none take it as they sell it or don’t not sure they care but a monopoly doesn’t have too. I would have posted zero stars and said easier to cop on a corner. But they probably would not post my observations.
This place is a great asset to the community and the staff there all work very hard. However, It is apparent that they are critically short staffed. And I have unfortunately seen that frustration get taken out on the patients. I just think they are overwhelmed.
Thank all of you for everything. Before starting, I was in major depression, non sleeping, very high anxiety. The product I have receive has helped me out. The people at the Tchoupitoulas St. store is very friendly, helpful, explained everything to me, respectful and courteous. I hope and would like to request a store in Metairie.
I’m so grateful for H & W, including all of their sweet staff, and helpful security guard. I’m in town for a short stint and they helped me transfer everything over and immediately and politely got me everything I needed. I also loved that I was able to listen to Mr. Henry’s comforting voice sharing information about MM; plenty that I didn’t know about. Thank you, H&W!

I have had the worst experiences with the staff. They are extremely unfriendly, are highly irritated when asked any questions related to their services or products, and a 10 day period policy of not being able to re up prescriptions that is not only ridiculous but inconsistent and very discriminatory. I have switched to capital pharmacy in Baton Rouge and can pick up whenever I need, they are so happy to answer all questions as this is all very new to me. Make the switch.
This dispensary obviously knows it has a problem with its vape products breaking (see other reviews) and doesn’t emphasize this enough to its patients. The reception girl laughed and thanked me for my money when I told her I spent $175 on unusable products. But don’t get upset about this because supposedly there are “notes” posted all over the waiting room. Like at a bar. And apparently their instructions contradict the instructions on the device. I wasn’t aware the pharmacist and all the “kids” in the office were also mechanical and electrical engineers. And apparently if they do anything wrong, there is a note somewhere absolving themselves of it, but not before they jump on the opportunity to point out how you are stupid for not reading their notes. But it certainly doesn’t cover the absolute obtuse rudeness of everyone I dealt with who you would assume would be doing all they can to help treat a condition sans opioids. I saw no note for that. As far as I am concerned, these people are thieves and they seem to be proud of it.
The staff here is friendly! they know exactly what they're talking about! Are very attentive for any question that you might have. This medicine has helped me so very much yes the prices are high but to have relief is a wonderful thing!thank you!

I’m giving 3 stars because I find that their customer service is lacking. The ladies on the reception phone line and at the front desk in person have bad attitudes. Of course, they are the only dispensary in the state so they can have poor customer service without repercussions. I found the male pharmacist on the video you’re made to watch was rude in person and had a bad attitude as well. The woman behind the counter treated me like I was stupid and told me to “watch the video ma’am” after I’d already been sitting there and watched the video 3 times. I have three stars because the actual pharmacist who was a woman was lovely. Also, I’ve been to dispensaries in other states and they are like high end boutiques with excellent customer service. At this dispensary, you can’t see the products or a list of prices. In other states you can see all of the products and the prices. You can do better HW dispensary.

H&W Dispensary has given me hope in what was a hopeless situation.The staff is polite, the pharmacists are knowledgeable, and the product is good considering Louisiana's marijuana laws and how THC can be ingested. Yes, the product is expensive, but worth every penny.Although I am still working out the formula that works for me, I have hope that I will soon be pain free. Thank you, H & W Dispensary.

This place gets 1 star from me simply because the product I purchased broke the same day I received it and at first I was told I can bring it back to replace it, however when I get there they tell me that I have to call the manufacturer. The young lady at the register was very rude laughing at the fact that she snatched my ID out of my hand. I did not give my money to these people and they will never receive any business from me. Go at your own risk, and be ready to pay an Arm and Leg!!!
i pulled up at 458, i rushed straight from work with my hazard lights on but i made it. i pulled up looked at my phone when i got out 459 the door is locked and i tap on the door crying my eyes out and the OFFICER told me the had already counted the money and couldnt let me in. WE ARE TALKING ABOUT 2 MINUTES!!! so they are telling me they shut down before 5 and count all the money and everything so they can leave at 5. every single person left by 5:13 im in the parking lot having a full blown anxiety attack and not one person asked if i needed medical attention even thought my son is with me. im sorry but i dont think you can shut down a business and gather your belongings and leave in 13 minutes because it didnt happen. they were ready to walk out at 458 when i got here. 2 minutesmay dseem like nothing to them but they dont have insomnia, ptsd , GAD, SAD and sucidiall thoughts 2 miniutes is more important than my life 2 miknutes that they REFUSED TO WORK

Waited five days for a consult with pharmacist. Given the runaround every time I called with a question. Once cleared to purchase, had to waste my time to consult with another pharmacist. I have had faster service with S&WB.
The employees are great. They are very helpful and friendly. It’s a kind of lonely spot but I felt safe. They always have a security guard.
I had my first visit yesterday and I was very pleased with how everything went. Staff was nice and the pharmacist was knowledgeable on the products I could use. The prices can be steep but I honestly think it’s worth it.
Staff is absolutely amazing! Everyone is so kind while maintaining the ability to run an efficient and effective medical cannabis dispensary in the NOLA area. Located just by the Mississippi River Bridge in Downtown NOLA, this location is easy to get to from surrounding neighborhoods. Ive been a patient with H&W for 14 months, beginning just when the Medical program was allowed to distribute tinctures for $200+. In comparison to other states, the price margin is a large jump difference stemming from the way the state passed medical cannabis legislation. However, H&W has ALWAYS looked out for their patients in keeping their prices the lowest in the state. As, new product continues to be released and more patients continue to join, demand will rise to a point that further requires the supply chain to follow suit. I originally was prescribed medical marijuana in the North and was very unsure about the program in the beginning. However, these past 14 months have proven that the program tends to be a viable option for residents and continue to make the necessary adjustments to thrive. When the program first began, the law explicitly depicted the illegality of inhalation of marijuana for medical purposes. Whereas, both Ileria and Wellcana successfully petitioned to the State to recreate guidelines adopted by the Dept. of Agriculture and LA Board of Pharmacy that allows for the "vaporization of medical marijuana in a metered dose inhalation form." I can promise you that not only is the staff extremely kind, but they're also very competent in their work and negate the uncertainties that occur behind closed doors. As the first state in the south to legalize medical cannabis, people must realize that although its going to take Louisiana a bit longer to get the ball rolling, its still possible.PS doesn't matter the cost because the product is the best possible on the market even at the high prices.Thanks H&W!!
Since starting on Cannabis tincture in 10 of 2019 it’s been life changing. It’s great for pain, sleep and as one with CPTSD it’s the only form of canna anywhere that allows for a nights sleep without nightmares, insomnia...My Qualify of life and functioning daily in general has definitely gotten much better. Can’t say enough!

First off it’s extremely expensive and insurance does not cover THC or CBD. After you get past the expense of finding your doctor and affording your medicine, you are left only to the tincture, It is very helpful, but it is nothing like the flowers we prefer. My first bottle was $180 my second bottle was 135 as the prices seem to be going down hopefully after this pandemic there will be new methods of ingestion as well as cheaper prices. Either way I support H&W dispensary
Jury still out, I'm hoping that Louisiana will catch up with other states way of handling the medical cannabis. I am a long time medical cannabis patient. I have been out of Louisiana for a couple of years because of the medicine available in other states. The method of allowed ingestion here doesn't work for everyone. Don't get me wrong I am proud of Louisiana being the first in the region to allow it, that's why I came home!
