I recently visited this place on a whim because I always enjoy finding hidden spots, new products, and good deals. Worst idea!!! Not only was the wait extremely long, but the customer service would have to of been some of the worst I have seen hands down. Except for the young lady in pink hair super sweet and actually helpful when I finally picked up my order. I understand being short staffed but you don’t proceed to ridicule your customers and mock them and you wonder why people decide to step out of the line?I will stay clear of here and take my business elsewhere highly recommended you do the same and places like this give dispensaries a bad name.
Yesterday I went in for my first time ever to this medical dispensary, I normally goo to Earth med, I tried downloading the app through the QR scanner then from that page tried downloading the app on my Android then entered Illinois as my location just to get a page saying sorry they don't allow the app in that state which they had a hard time with. Then I wasn't helped with anything like you would expect to as a first time shopper, I got over charged and they didn't honor my medical card because I did not receive my 35% off and also spent over $120 on items but there was a promo going on if you spend more than $50 you get a tote so I asked about it and they had to call two people over for like the fifth time while I just stood there not getting explained anything while there was a huge line behind me and getting charge for the free tote, my social anxiety was in full effect and I was in my own personal HE🏒🏒. Then I left and called because I didn't want to still be in the spot light. I spoke to someone to find out all the managers were in a meeting and would call me back it's been over a day and still nothing. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE MEDICAL
Curbside service was excellent. Edwin was very knowledgeable about the procedures and delivered the product in a very quick and efficient manner. Excellent.!
I am VERY disappointed in how service has fallen off since they have implemented their new “customer rewards program” in September.I had an order three weeks ago and was overcharged $20 for an ounce. I didn’t have a problem getting a return credit, because I had a screenshot of the sale dates and prices from the banner on the website.Today I had ordered very early this morning before they opened. The items were on sale then; the receipt sent to me reflected the sale price.Yet when I got to the store the price per ounce was inflated by $20. I had 2 one ounce packages so they wanted to overcharge me $40 this time.The manager explained that he wasn’t responsible for any changes in menu prices after I placed my order. I replied that I didn’t expect him to be, but what I did expect was to pay the amount promised to me not even 12 hours earlier, the same day—when I ordered it. They seem to not have the capability to check the price the item was day before; something I think would be easy to do if it benefited them, but clearly it does not.Unfortunately I didn’t have a screenshot of my receipt or the sale banner on the website this time.I’ve been coming here faithfully for 7 years; and never did I feel I had to come in armed with screenshots to anticipate price discrepancies until now.As the manager looked at my phone and saw the receipt indicating the sale prices the morning of; he adjusted my total on that receipt to the higher amount.So, not sure what’s happening here. If you choose to use this dispensary, keep an eye on your wallet. Assume you’ll be charged a higher price, as I was TWICE IN A ROW since their new system was implemented.I can’t help it feel as though they tried to screw me, which is a terrible feeling after so many years of faithful patronage.As I told the young man who argued with me over this and stated, “I can’t help it if the prices change from day to day.”—it WAS NOT the next day; it was the same day, 10 hours later, that I picked up this order and was faced with the “price discrepancies “ about which no one could offer resolution.I won’t be returning after seven years of steady patronage, because I don’t want to feel as though I must proactively defend whatever price I ordered this stuff at.Two overcharges are two too many, but what was REALLY appalling is that the staff were unwilling or unable to help resolve this issue.I don’t want to fight over what price I ordered products at, not when I spend several hundred there monthly and I have the receipt THEY SENT ME to back it up.I’ll find somewhere worthy of my business, preferably one that doesn’t try to inflate prices at the last minute while hoping the customer doesn’t notice.It’s shady, and I’m surprised it’s happened here, as Zen Leaf has always had a reputation for being fair and reasonable.
I wish that most other business were run with the simple efficiency and warmth that Zen Leaf is. Everyone, from the staff at the door to the friendly, knowledgeable staff at the service desks makes you feel welcome. The procedures for purchasing are clear and easy to follow. The atmosphere is fresh, warm, and inviting. You see people from all walks of life here. I’ve had extremely pleasant conversations with staff and patrons, and I have never left feeling disappointed. Shopping at Zen Leaf is a bright, pleasant experience.
I am very tired of the inconsistent rules and changes at this place.First, the silly kiosks. What is the point of having a bud tender standing over there to do an order vs at the counter? Then when more people come in, you stand and do your order alone because there is usually only 1 person there. So if you have questions, you will do that at the counter anyway. I put my orders in online now to avoid the hassle.Second, it used to be a medical facility first, then rec. Now they don't care about med patients. They only have 1 or 2 bud tenders taking med patients and the rest taking walk ins. It's funny, as i was at the counter, the guy next to me asked the same exact question why they were not prioritizing med patients like they always have. His tender immediately was defensive and said it's always like that and she only did what told. ? Ok, he just asked a question. So I asked the manager, when she came to assist my tender, the same question.she right away told me it's always that way, very nicely. Lol. It has not always been that way and frankly the guy next to me seemed to not like the response and myself i felt a little insulted that the reaction was like that. I've been coming a long time to this spot and before they built the new one, down the street. So I'm fairly familiar with the store. A few moments later, another tender passed behind and said it had been about a month since they changed the way they do it. Obviously they have been questioned by others or they would not have been so defensive.It seems management forgot that medical patients got them started here in Illinois.
Some people card chip doesn't work but tap does. When letting the bud tender know 2 times, then he had to reboot his computer to still nit be able to purchase cuz he was too spaced out to understand Tap for debit is what I had... so the 3rd time I was told no credit cards... this place is the worst one I have been to and each time I give them another try I get mad. FIX YOUR TAP SO YOU AND ONE WALMART IN THE STATE CAN BE UPDATED WITH NEW TECHNOLOGY... NEW BUILDING SAME TYPE OF STAFF AND BAD CARD READERS.. sorry just being honest
I mean you get what you came for so they supply the demand but it takes forever to get in and out. I honestly don’t understand why you put the kiosks in the store and then still allow people to get in line and place their order at the counter it holds up your whole line. Have one person work the kiosk and answer questions customers may have and then anyone in the line already has an order in place. All the back and forth conversation at the counter can be eliminated with this one adjustment. That one adjustment could be a huge contributing factor to time customers spend in the store. The faster they’re in and out the better you can serve other customers. Zen leaf so far out of the dispos I’ve been are the only ones working backwards like this. I’ve been to others with the same staff and same level of customers but the turn around is night and day compared to zen leaf. This place does have a nice selection though.
I have been a loyal shopper here since this place opened, and to be honest, the level of customer service and convenience that this location provides has been on a downwards slide. Please get more cashiers working and please refigure the layout/system you have in place for your checkout counters. Your "express" line isn't much of one anymore now, sadly.
Great place, but to often see hey have 25+ customers in the store with maybe 1-2 people working the counter. Ends up taking over an hour to get in and out, which could be easily be solved by having more people scheduled during busy times, this issue always happens between 5-7 pm. With that being the busiest time you’d think he store would be properly staffed!

Samuel was great! I forgot what I usually ordered, but he helped me find that information. Additionally he showed me some options I was unaware of. He very patiently walked me through those options and did all this with a smile on his face!
Love this place! Staff is very friendly and helpful. They do have a pretty good amount of options. The environment is also great. Main thing I love about this dispensary is the fast line for medical patients, it’s great for when you’re in a rush but need your medication. Curbside pickup is also pretty quick.
I’m from out of state and Katt did an AMAZING job helping my wife and I pick out new things to try. We got a nice variety of items and they were all in stock! Would definitely return whenever we’re back in town! The shop smelled great, looked clean inside, and all the other team members looked so cool. Overall wonderful experience.
Just put in my curbside order. I'm having a bad day. Wanted to get some medicine. Pulled up and waited in the heat on my e bike for them to come out and say we can't serve you on a bike. Well I guess Rise in Naperville ain't to far off. I've placed 3 orders this way on my bike. Been a customer since you opened. Pretty disappointed being treated that way. See ya
I love this dispensary I go here a lot only thing that sucks is my points expired && I missed out on ten dollars off but that's beside the point I went in today && had a wonderful experience!!! Unfortunately I did not get the workers name but, they didn't get the product right yesterday. So I missed out on a deal. I wasn't expecting anything && I just casually said it sucks I missed out on the deal yesterday && they not only gave me the discount but, the entire product for free!!! I've had nothing but good experiences with this place. Very cool people! 🫶🏼 Very cool dispo 🫶🏼

Abby is great. She remembers me and treats me fantastic. I'm not always having good days, but when I go to Zen leaf the employees leave me with only a good day to have. Great and big energy. Some of us need that. All the staff is friendly. Brian B is very friendly and always professional.

The workers at this location have always been very respectful, nice, and helpful. I probably only go in once every 2-3 months. The inside is like a really, really nice coffee shop/hangout. The vibe is always friendly, safe, and super clean. Great location. Never had, or heard of any complaints about it.
How can you expect satisfied customers to return when you change the price on certain items (that weren't even on a deal / special) from $23 up to $40 in just one day. I came back on Monday for my 25% off med, with over $1000 planning to spend on these items that yesterday were priced at $23, now at $40. Ended up leaving without any money spent. They can't compete price wise. I thought this was a professional establishment where they don't just change prices willy nilly. Holler at me when they're back to the cheaper $23 prices. Until then I'll just window shop. Such a disappointment.
Good and friendly staff. But spent $40 after tax on 300mg disposable and disposable had less than half of 300mg in it, probably close to 0.1 to 0.15 in it. Complete rip off & Zen Leaf permanently has 1 less customer for good now. This was a sealed and packaged product. Can’t even trust the source these constant new products are coming from. Never coming back to a Zen Leaf ever again.

UPDATE: Not only do they not honor discounts, but they have ZERO customer service. I talked to 2 separate people about this, neither followed through and got back to me. I hope the $9 was worth losing my business, I'll be going back to Rise....Recently switched here, but going to be switching right back. Didn't get a discount on a product that I bought 4 of, which they claimed is because I got a lesser discount. 1. I thought you get the better of the 2 discounts, and 2. The receipt shows I paid full price. So, I didn't get any discount. Wasn't really a huge amount, but not the point, and obviously it was too much for them to correct. Would NOT have bought 4 if I knew I was paying full price. Most likely won't be back...

I'm a first time medical user with more than one ailment. I did my research before going in, but was grateful for Michael's help in finalizing a plan and choosing final products. I was impressed with the focus on customer service. It was especially good to know that on the days when my health is really impacting my mobility these guys will bring my order out to my car.
Cory who works inside when ordering has so much patience and shares his knowledge with the customer. He goes out his way. He answers any questions you have.
