This store really needs to upgrade its lobby check-in procedures. At many other March and Ash locations, the process is quick and easy with a simple scan of your ID. Unfortunately, this location still requires manual entry to retrieve your information from the database, which slows down the entire experience and significantly increases wait times. When I realize I have to visit this location because the product I'm searching for is only available here, I do my best to avoid it. I've even waited weeks just to bypass the inconvenience of their outdated check-in procedure. While the staff is wonderful and always helpful, it's frustrating that the check-in process feels stuck in the past. I wish they would upgrade to 2024 standards—it's not the year 2000 anymore. We may not have flying cars, but this location should at least have a more efficient check-in process, comparable to the other locations.
If you would ever like to come and visit this march and ash you are more welcome to, however I highly recommend do not come on a day that Kristen is working which is why it was my first and also last day I will ever visit this establishment.Let me start by saying wait time wasn’t a problem for me, as I was visiting California and needed something to sleep and a lot of people that I asked around looking for recommendations told me to come here, so I had high hopes. BIG MISTAKE.Now I don’t know what was her problem, my mom always said if you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say it at all. Apparently this doesn’t apply to Kristen, as she has no problem saying anything about you behind your back and even when you are ear distance and can hear it. If I could name an establishment that I felt so unwelcome at while feeling degraded, it would be here, everything else was okay, it was only this worker that decided that everything she said and was doing was okay. If you are having a bad day at work do not put that frustration out on customers, because that will only drive business away as it has driven mine away from returning here my next trip.
This has been the worst experience my friends and I have had at any March and Ash.First off, I knew there was something wrong when the front desk lady (Kristen) was checking inside the glass window when there were only like 2-3 customers inside. There were 4 of us and my 2 friends went up first to check in, me second, and my sister behind another customer that was behind me (which is also another important part to note since we don't personally know her). So my 2 other friends were called to go in, then she told me I have to wait, so my 2 friends came back to wait on me and my sister in which Kristen started yelling at my friends, without warning, about how they have a procedure where only 2 people can go in at a time, which not everyone knows especially if you’re new. Mid-tantrum, she told me and the other customer, (that I mentioned earlier) that we can go in which made us confused because not all of us heard her tell us to go in because of all her yelling. So the 3 of us along with the other customer went inside, without my sister mind you, and when we got inside the other customer was scared and started saying to us "wasn't she being really rude? I've never seen something like that before", in which we proceeded to do our own thing for a bit until we felt uncomfortable especially after my sister came in and told us that Kristen was talking behind our backs and saying awful stuff after we went inside, such as making it sound like we're incompetent people in a condescending way along with other customers that go there throughout the day. Kind of downgrading and narcissistic if you ask me.Anyway, on the way out my friend gave her the middle finger since she didn't like the way she was acting and the security guard laughed in our face and then told us "you guys cannot come back here anymore." like we were causing a problem or inconvenience for them.If I could leave 0 stars I would, the customer service at this place was god awful. Never going back to that specific March and Ash again until they know how to behave.
Great deals all year long. Program reward. Rob has helped me multiple times he has provided amazing customer service. Only downfall is parking. Parking here is very limited.
*Edit - Nobody has contacted me I don't think March and Ash care.Went in for the first time today and got 2 clones and a little bud. I asked how much the clones were and the employee told me $25 each for all clones. I felt this was steep for how small the clones were but not outrageous. I usually pay $8-$10 per clone but get more at a time. They also look a lot stronger than the ones I got from March and Ash. When I got home to check my receipt I found I was charged $45 per clone!!!! That is greed and a ripoff. Not to mention I specifically asked about prices and was told one price then charged way more. Poor oversight on their end and I honestly probably won't ever come back because of this.
It was my first time and only had my card with me even though I received a killer discount I still had to use the ATM and was charged 5 dollers products were good not to expensive and customer service was very helpful. Need to work on the credit or debit swipe but I recommend just bring cash!
I’ve been going to the mission valley location for a few years now, but I picked this location today because they had a Blem product I was interested in. I checked online and called to confirm with an employee at 4:26pm on 4/17/2024. I show up 10, maybe 15 minutes later to find out it was “sold out for a while”. I understand it’s not worth it for these employees to care about a patient’s medical needs or time. I hope this can help the right person so you don’t waste your time like I have with this location.
This location is AMAZING!!!! but the wait times are completely unnecessary. Every single day they have multiple cashier's available that stand around, because there is only like 3-5 people allowed to shop at any given time.it has considerably slowed down the business here. I've been to over 40 dispensaries across America, and this one is by far the longest wait time. the employees are amazing, they just need to allow more customers in at one time in order to be more efficient. Sometimes they only allow two customers at a time. Sincerely, guy standing in a line of 20 people.
First time experience going to a "head shop". Are they still called that?Shop is big, bright, colorful and has many, many options for purchase. Professional staff able to talk me through what and how strong would be appropriate for my needs. She was dead on!
The only reason for the 3 at this location is because the online menu was not matching what was on stock.(or so I was told)While this could have just been bad software it completely ruined my day. I'm someone who commutes and has to plan all aspects of the day while in SD.The location isnt as "hood" as I expected. Security is cool. The young lady at check in is cool, polite and recognizes repeat visitors. Parking in front is tight with a steep driveway. Parking in back is wide open with a smooth entry.Wait time is zero at 8 am, a bit longer as the day goes on. Prices are typical Rec shop prices. The bonus are their sales and loyalty points program. While the inner setting is not as nice as Mission Valley and nowhere near El Centro's, it is still better than the Palm location in my opinion as far as overall vibe.Aside from the one menu error I've had nothing but good experiences here. I'll be back for sure. One note, I get where the location is, but maybe dont assume everyone is Spanish speaking and great people in English before going full on with the Spanish greet and pitch.
Quality products, good prices, and friendly staff. Love the early bird special 20% off take advantage of the deal it seems like promo ends January 1 2024
