Don’t bother going into the Encinitas branch of this dispensary unless you have grey hair and are over 50. I walked in with a valid California Real ID with my mother and was stopped in line by the security guard who immediately profiled me as too young. I asked if there was a problem with my ID and he blatantly said no before calling his manager. His manager took one look at my ID and laughed in my face and claimed it was a fake. My mother and I argued and had no way to prove it was real because the method they used was a simple flashlight. After waving my ID in my face and refusing to give it to me the 3 times I asked, he finally “decided” it was real before I physically grab by ID back and stormed out of the building. Fire the security guard and get an electronic id reader. It’s no wonder people steal from your location. You lost a valid customer and I have never been more disrespected in my life.

Service was great, selection was overwhelmingly phenomenal. The downside was that it seems my 4 CAM pre-rolls didn't get bagged, so I left without them. My receipt says I was charged, but I've searched my car up and down to no avail. It's only ~30 bucks at the end of the day. But I'm traveling and don't have the ability to return to the store (am currently on honeymoon driving cross country, Cali was the opposite end for us).If anyone is reading this, know the store is great.

The cake house is by far one of the best dispensaries I’ve ever been to. They are professional, knowledgeable, and always go the extra miles and make sure the customer is taken care of. The drivers are fantastic, and the wait time is not too long! I love the deals that they offer online. I love that they are honor other website deals. I will continue to use Cake house as long as they carry the brand I like to consume!

The customer service today was hands down the BEST!! The staff were super helpful, as I was a newbie, and listened to what I was looking for and why. They took me around the store and made me feel so at ease. The prices were really great! I only wish I still lived locally and could go more often but I will be sure all my friends who do know about The Cake House!

The Cake House in Encinitas has become a regular stop when I’m in the beach cities and need an ounce.Easy parking on the street in front or in the lot behind the dispensary I always find a good spot.Prices are very competitive on small and larger quantities. I like the Dime Bag ounces for strength and value.Tip: Check weedmaps and the Cake House website for deals and savings.

Aaron was amazing!! He opened my knowledge on what I needed to be looking for to heighten my specific needs. He took an immense amount of time to go through every product and tell me the benefits and rewards! He also made sure that I was able to get a discount in everything I was getting.. so he shopped specific brands knowing that they were being discounted that day. Because of this, I ended up spending twice as much as I had walked in prepared to do. I used to go to the other dispensaries, but from now on this is my go to!

I went to the Cake House for the first time with a friend who had been before. I thought the staff were very nice and I love the way you shop. You get a little basket and you go out there and browse the products without pressure although there are staff to assist with questions or finding products. When you are finished shopping you take your choices to a register and make your purchase. Love it keep up the good work.

Incredible experience. Employees were kind and helpful. I had a wonderful conversation with one of the employees about rosin and concentrates, she was very knowledgeable. They had a HUGE selection of products and the 20% discount for it being my first time there definitely helped. All in all a great experience for my first time in a california dispensary. Usually one of the best shopping experiences at any dispensary I’ve ever had. I really liked the fact that I was able to shop around freely without feeling the pressure of the bartender, waiting on me, or feeling like they had to reach for whatever I was trying to look at. Prices are extremely fair and the products ranged from low-quality all the way to high-quality.

Love this place. But cake house please keep your deals listed on your site more easier. When I go in there is always things never online or they tell me flower Fridays and things like that. Would be good to know for future orders and purchases. Online ordering is easy and shop is amazing. Just deals could be more accessible and easily advertised . Then a perfect rating 👊🏼
