I’ve been going to Catalyst for years now, and always enjoyed the staff but cannot say I had a good experience this time. Walk in to buy and after waiting in line watched someone that just walked in and did not wait in line get priority while I had to wait although it was my turn and was asked for some time, as I stand and watch for 10 min the person that was behind me receive service before, absolutely disrespectful and unprofessional, will be considering go somewhere else, maybe hire more staff so clients don’t need to wait extra minutes for someone to just cut the line.

The same budtender from my last experience was there, and he was literally hitting on two girls right when I walked in alone. I was disgusted. It’s honestly creepy and uncomfortable.No woman should have to feel on guard just to buy weed. Do betterI came into Catalyst Costa Mesa for the first time on 10/5 to buy a pack of prerolls, and the experience made me feel extremely uncomfortable. The budtender, Phil, was aggressively and inappropriately hitting on my friend and me during our visit.I didn’t come in for compliments! I came in for cannabis. A dispensary should be a safe and professional space to pick up medication, not a place where customers feel harassed or disrespected. The behavior was unprofessional and unsettling, and it completely ruined what should have been a simple and positive first visit.

Love this shop… good on everything, the security is so friendly and most of the staff is good people. This one guy, hippie looking dude with glasses and long hair and a mustache is always hitting on girls putting his # in there phones holding up lines to flirt I get it but come on had to wait awhile on my lady visit cause he was too busy trying to get some.

What a horrible experience the general manager decided to come out and warn me that she would not be giving me a refund for her defective product. I was given an exchange and outside of the location. I tested the exchange only to find out. It was not working as well I went back inside and was told, you’re not gonna get another exchange so I’m being blamed for their defective product. I’ll never come back here again and I advised that if you go here do not purchase any vapes. I’m a general manager manager myself and if something is wrong with the product. I will reach out to my upper management to make sure the customer gets the best service and product available! You guys made a mistake and we’re not willing to own up to it, you’ve lost. What’s even worse is you admitted that the whole batch is defective and you’re gonna be returning it to the vendor and yet you won’t return what’s right for me!! I will be submitting this to the BBB and anywhere else that legitimate business receives complaints because you’re excuses that you’re legitimate business yet you act like cons! Last thing you all decided to hide the GM and not provide her name which is dumb when she walks around with a name tag! grow up or get shut down. legitimate businesses should not operate like this.

Everyone was nice and friendly, it was my first time ever in a dispensary and I was only there grabbing something for my aunt who has stage 4 cancer and her birthday is coming up. I figured this would be a nice substitute since she can't have any alcoholic beverages. I will definitely be back again in the future.
