What an adventure! I was in awe of their stock, because they seemed to have some of everything. Whatever your choice of consumption, there’s a wide variety of options available. Thankfully, l had already viewed their website and got to preview everything on the menu for that day. Prices were as expected and the quality control allows you to trust trying new products. I had a great shopping experience and I enjoyed talking with the customer service/cashiers. They are very well informed and helpful to give suggestions once you tell them what you’re looking for. I will definitely return. For those who are hesitant to go there because of the location, forget your worries, because they have security under control. It was a quiet and well lit area. I’m a single woman, traveling alone and I felt completely at ease.

Definitely doesn't deserve the bad reviews. There's not much competition in the area so of course prices are going to be higher. If you want to grow it yourself and go through the curing process then feel free. But if you're not going to do any of that then you're going to pay for somebody else to do it for you. I've never had any bad customer service and all the products are good. I'm sure that when recreational becomes legal, prices will come down.

This store is a pretty good store on its own. But when you compare it to Gleafs Short Pump location, this store is down right spectacular. The only slightly negative thing I have to say about this store is that it's location is a bit off putting (being in an industrial complex and what not). However, once you walk in, the experience is great. The staff is friendly, the store is clean and well put together with a nice lobby and TVs throughout (you get extra points in my book for keeping them tune to the NFL channel). The selection there is great and the whole process usually takes less than 10 minutes.The whole reason I started going to this store (which is about a 30 minute drive for me) was because of the problems with the short pump location. Given how nice this store is, and more importantly, how well stocked it is, I think this might become my new regular place even though it's a bit of a hike.

They do not respect or appreciate their customers as a company, however they do employ some very nice people. some more knowledgeable than others. When they associates say you can not smell the product but they can makes no sense. Makes no sense that the refund policy is such a headache. I have spent my fair share of earnings with Gleaf, in return it would be nice to be able to have a chance at getting the strain of the week before it' runs out'. running out is unacceptable and if you run out of the strain of the week then replace it with something similar, do not just strong arm your customers into paying more

If I could give 100 stars I would. I had hands down the BEST medical cannabis experience I’ve ever had yesterday at gleaf Manchester. I spoke with both the pharmacist and a pharmacy tech to ensure that I was choosing strains and methods that would support my condition AND work cohesively with other medications I take daily. The staff was the most compassionate, understanding and patient staff I’ve ever met with. I left with tons of educational resources to help guide my future decisions and a lot of hope. The muscle rub suggested by the sweet girl who helped me pick products is a hidden miracle salve if you ask me. I’ll be a customer forever, thank you so much much for your help yesterday!

Selection was fine, staff was fine. I got a couple cartridges and they are fine too. Pricing is sky high though. They have a captive *legal market and they know it. I assumed $50-$60 was going to get me a real 1 g cart, but they are not, they are .5s. That's just taking advantage of people who are trying to do the right thing and purchase legally. Black market carts are $35-50 for a whole gram. Also one of mine wasn't filled all the way. No way for me to measure of course, but it was half as full as the other one I got. No recourse. My advice is stick to your local black market cannabis dealers. You can trust them to not rip you off as much.

If ever have been to a dispensary from another state like Oregon or Colorado then this place will probably be a disappointment to you almost across the board from the quality of the flower, the setup and the staff.This is a medical only facility and yet they put tip jars out expecting you to tip them for getting your medicine. If you went to CVS and there was a tip jar out wouldn’t you think that was bit odd? Also, they staff isn’t very knowledgeable on the workings of what is going on or much about flower in general. Many times I’ve over heard staff give out inaccurate information about strains and cultivating. This establishment also sells their flower by THC levels which has been debunked on how potent a train can be, yet the staff here insist that a higher THC content means you get a stronger effect. Which is not correct. Also, have to be careful on delivery as your packages may be arrive open already or tampered with and Management will do nothing about it. They also use terminology only native to Virginia like with no terms listed to the public on what they mean.

But I got to say I absolutely loved the hospitality the staff was super friendly the facility was nice and clean. Moderate positive experience over all. Security was rather fast and I had to send certain proof of documentation via email .no biggie. Selection was adequate for a fairly new dispensary and I decided to go with the Monkey Cake live resin and Chiquita Cake IV flower. The flower as you can see in the photo is a decent shade giving off a light brownish green color. Certainly not the best I’ve ever seen but not bad at all. Buds seemed Keify and the feel is dry with a slight sticky feeling. Taste on inhalation is sweet and floural and it gave off a nice smell. Results are as expected this isn’t a very strong strain but moderate. Next the rosin. It was not as amber as I was expecting and it lacked the sweetness smell I’m accustomed too. Smelled like straight flower. Taste was decent and impact was strong. I must admit I’m not an avid wax smoker but the feelings were strong and sedating. Over all a good experience. My one gripe would be the prices. About 15% higher than what you would expect for the effects. Also I do not like I can not view or inspect the product before purchase . Everything is pre packaged.

These prices are absolutely ridiculous and the product isn’t very good. $65 for 3.5 grams of dried out flower that doesn’t get you high. This is no different than gas stations charging 5.00 a gallon for gas. It’s corporate greed. Gleaf is in for a reckoning when VA goes full recreational in 2024. I can get ounces of flower for $125-150 on the streets that’s far superior to the quality of this “medical” grade garbage. Gleaf charges $520 for an ounce. These are quadruple normal prices. Don’t support this.

So I placed an order this morning with the Richmond facility. I was told delivery would be tomorrow. At around 1 PM I got a voicemail from gLeaf, I called back 10 minutes later, I was in the shower and couldn’t answer the phone. The lady said we can deliver today if you will be home after 1 PM, I said absolutely. So a little after 4 PM after sitting here waiting for over three hours when I could’ve been doing something else I called to check on my order. I was told that it was not communicated that I would like the delivery today whatever that means. Not very professional and it would’ve been nice if somebody would’ve called me back.

Super fast and friendly service! I was a first time customer who had preregistered online and was in and out in less than 5 minutes. Compare that to a different dispensary I went to further north where I had preregistered as a first time customer there and spent a little over 45 minutes waiting through multiple queues. Everyone on staff was very nice, knowledgeable and efficient. Plenty of parking and easily found with GPS directions despite having zero familiarity with Richmond. I live about equal distance from this dispensary and the other I visited north of here, but it's so much easier to get to this place that I'll be going here by default in the future!

Wonderfully helpful. I went for the first time two months ago, not knowing much of anything about cannabis despite being a child of the 60s. It’s a nice facility and I was treated with kindness and respect. I appreciated the helpful and knowledgeable pharmacists taking the extra time to educate an old woman in pain. It’s working pretty well so far. It would be even better if I wasn’t being limited in what and how much I can use. Virginia pain management doctors only partially recognize it as legal (legal on the state level isn’t quite good enough; they’re stuck on it still being a Schedule I substance on the federal level). Maybe one day Congress will start representing it’s constituents and make cannabis legal, although I’m sure the pay-offs from Big Pharma must make them pretty conflicted as to who they actually work for.

But my visit last week was exemplary.After walking in and handing my cards over to the woman behind the glass, she asked me a series of questions, which I kept answering 'No' to, including her next question, "Are you having a good day?"I was in a terrible mood. My dad recently died and on the day I visited gLeaf my entire body was in pain. As soon as I answered 'No' she began laughing and said she wasn't either and thanked me for my honesty. She got me to smile and laugh and helped lighten my mood considerably after that exchange. I was able to have a much better day thanks to her and gLeaf.

That about it these prices are very expensive and I personally do not like the quality. I purchased 2 live rosin carts. $80 for 2 and they didn't really work and they are a very harsh hit. I enjoy the legal access to THC products, but this will not be a place a regularly go to until prices drop and there is an expansion of products

gLeaf is sadly the only option in Richmond currently for THC oil patients to turn to for medicinal products - and they know it, and their pricing reflects as much. You will pay 200% or more compared to other markets in the US - markets gLeaf could easily turn to for lab-tested and approved products far more potent than their own at a far less expensive cost to the patient even with a markup. gLeaf is taking advantage of Richmond residents/patients purely out of greed. Competition is coming... SOON (thank Christ!) and when they do REMEMBER who was out to rip you off at the beginning of it all! Friendliness, cleanliness and professionalism earned the second star - but it’d be hard NOT to smile when you’ve got the city bent over a barrel. Not for long..

This was one of the cleanest places I've seen in a long, long time, and the security guard was telling me that some of the wood on the wall was actually salvaged from when the building was used as a tobacco warehouse. Every time I look at the menu, prices go up, and medicinal value goes down.The first cart I got was 70% thc for $65.Now they want $80. Some of the carts are as low as 35% now.Virginia is about to allow the sale of flower so hopefully they start getting a steady quality, and price.Their parent company ( Columbia care ) offers discounts at the portsmouth location, but not here?

I was anticipating the opening of the dispensary due to it's convenience, however they need to work out the kinks ASAP! The soft opening was a fiasco! Everyone was very nice, and the patrons were extremely patient considering how unorganized everything was. We had to wait an extensive length of time out in the freezing cold. The organizers provided all participants with water and disinfectant. The initial purchase payment was to be made in cash only. The price was considerably high in comparison to other dispensary's, especially since have other locations. They also need a better system of documenting and tracking patient registration information. I have not been able to register on their website to place orders, and there's no way for me to track my purchases on-line. I understand your newly approved in Virginia, but this isn't your first rodeo. Also, there should be a reduction in price to reflect all the discrepancies in the services. Don't start off poorly, there will be plenty of competition soon!

Definitely doesn't deserve the bad reviews. There's not much competition in the area so of course prices are going to be higher. If you want to grow it yourself and go through the curing process then feel free. But if you're not going to do any of that then you're going to pay for somebody else to do it for you. I've never had any bad customer service and all the products are good. I'm sure that when recreational becomes legal, prices will come down.

This store is a pretty good store on its own. But when you compare it to Gleafs Short Pump location, this store is down right spectacular. The only slightly negative thing I have to say about this store is that it's location is a bit off putting (being in an industrial complex and what not). However, once you walk in, the experience is great. The staff is friendly, the store is clean and well put together with a nice lobby and TVs throughout (you get extra points in my book for keeping them tune to the NFL channel). The selection there is great and the whole process usually takes less than 10 minutes.The whole reason I started going to this store (which is about a 30 minute drive for me) was because of the problems with the short pump location. Given how nice this store is, and more importantly, how well stocked it is, I think this might become my new regular place even though it's a bit of a hike.

When they associates say you can not smell the product but they can makes no sense. Makes no sense that the refund policy is such a headache. I spoke with both the pharmacist and a pharmacy tech to ensure that I was choosing strains and methods that would support my condition AND work cohesively with other medications I take daily. The staff was the most compassionate, understanding and patient staff I’ve ever met with. I left with tons of educational resources to help guide my future decisions and a lot of hope. The muscle rub suggested by the sweet girl who helped me pick products is a hidden miracle salve if you ask me. I’ll be a customer forever, thank you so much much for your help yesterday!

Selection was fine, staff was fine. I got a couple cartridges and they are fine too. Pricing is sky high though. They have a captive *legal market and they know it. I assumed $50-$60 was going to get me a real 1 g cart, but they are not, they are .5s. That's just taking advantage of people who are trying to do the right thing and purchase legally. Black market carts are $35-50 for a whole gram. Also one of mine wasn't filled all the way. No way for me to measure of course, but it was half as full as the other one I got. No recourse. My advice is stick to your local black market cannabis dealers. You can trust them to not rip you off as much.

If ever have been to a dispensary from another state like Oregon or Colorado then this place will probably be a disappointment to you almost across the board from the quality of the flower, the setup and the staff.This is a medical only facility and yet they put tip jars out expecting you to tip them for getting your medicine. If you went to CVS and there was a tip jar out wouldn’t you think that was bit odd? Also, they staff isn’t very knowledgeable on the workings of what is going on or much about flower in general. Many times I’ve over heard staff give out inaccurate information about strains and cultivating. This establishment also sells their flower by THC levels which has been debunked on how potent a train can be, yet the staff here insist that a higher THC content means you get a stronger effect. Which is not correct. Also, have to be careful on delivery as your packages may be arrive open already or tampered with and Management will do nothing about it. They also use terminology only native to Virginia like with no terms listed to the public on what they mean.

Moderate positive experience over all. Security was rather fast and I had to send certain proof of documentation via email .no biggie. Selection was adequate for a fairly new dispensary and I decided to go with the Monkey Cake live resin and Chiquita Cake IV flower. The flower as you can see in the photo is a decent shade giving off a light brownish green color. Certainly not the best I’ve ever seen but not bad at all. Buds seemed Keify and the feel is dry with a slight sticky feeling. Taste on inhalation is sweet and floural and it gave off a nice smell. Results are as expected this isn’t a very strong strain but moderate. Next the rosin. It was not as amber as I was expecting and it lacked the sweetness smell I’m accustomed too. Smelled like straight flower. Taste was decent and impact was strong. I must admit I’m not an avid wax smoker but the feelings were strong and sedating. Over all a good experience. My one gripe would be the prices. About 15% higher than what you would expect for the effects. Also I do not like I can not view or inspect the product before purchase . Everything is pre packaged.

This is no different than gas stations charging 5.00 a gallon for gas. It’s corporate greed. Gleaf is in for a reckoning when VA goes full recreational in 2024. I can get ounces of flower for $125-150 on the streets that’s far superior to the quality of this “medical” grade garbage. Gleaf charges $520 for an ounce. These are quadruple normal prices. So I placed an order this morning with the Richmond facility. I was told delivery would be tomorrow. At around 1 PM I got a voicemail from gLeaf, I called back 10 minutes later, I was in the shower and couldn’t answer the phone. The lady said we can deliver today if you will be home after 1 PM, I said absolutely. So a little after 4 PM after sitting here waiting for over three hours when I could’ve been doing something else I called to check on my order. I was told that it was not communicated that I would like the delivery today whatever that means. Not very professional and it would’ve been nice if somebody would’ve called me back.

Compare that to a different dispensary I went to further north where I had preregistered as a first time customer there and spent a little over 45 minutes waiting through multiple queues. Everyone on staff was very nice, knowledgeable and efficient. Plenty of parking and easily found with GPS directions despite having zero familiarity with Richmond. I live about equal distance from this dispensary and the other I visited north of here, but it's so much easier to get to this place that I'll be going here by default in the future!

Wonderfully helpful. I went for the first time two months ago, not knowing much of anything about cannabis despite being a child of the 60s. It’s a nice facility and I was treated with kindness and respect. I appreciated the helpful and knowledgeable pharmacists taking the extra time to educate an old woman in pain. It’s working pretty well so far. It would be even better if I wasn’t being limited in what and how much I can use. Virginia pain management doctors only partially recognize it as legal (legal on the state level isn’t quite good enough; they’re stuck on it still being a Schedule I substance on the federal level). Maybe one day Congress will start representing it’s constituents and make cannabis legal, although I’m sure the pay-offs from Big Pharma must make them pretty conflicted as to who they actually work for.

This place is everything I could have hoped for! They are obviously new , and working to build inventory to have more options for their patients , but there’s no “growing pains” visible here! Everyone I interacted with on staff was extremely welcoming , and knowledgeable , especially Jess , she is amazing and It seems was destined for her position to help here. I’ve frequented quite a few dispensaries in different states and countries , I’m thankful we got a great one here in RVA!

The experience was very informative. There were a decent range of options and the staff was friendly and helpful. I do wish the required paperwork for a first visit had been available beforehand to complete and bring with me. And I wasn't advised it was cash-only when I called, so I had to pay to use their ATM. Otherwise, a pleasant experience.

Everyone I spoke with or even just walked by in passing was so friendly!! This was one of the cleanest places I've seen in a long, long time, and the security guard was telling me that some of the wood on the wall was actually salvaged from when the building was used as a tobacco warehouse. It was beautiful! Great experience, and I'll definitely be going back!

Wish I could give a better review.The staff that you deal with deserve 5 stars.Fast and friendly.But come on. Every time I look at the menu, prices go up, and medicinal value goes down.The first cart I got was 70% thc for $65.Now they want $80. Some of the carts are as low as 35% now.Virginia is about to allow the sale of flower so hopefully they start getting a steady quality, and price.Their parent company ( Columbia care ) offers discounts at the portsmouth location, but not here?

Very professional. I have been here several times, and the staff have been very helpful and knowledgeable EVERY time. Don't trust the one star reviews. They either don't know what they are doing, or are complaining about the price. It is a bit pricey, but I'm willing to pay at the moment as there are no other legal options. I'm just happy VA has legal medical cannabis now.

The security was excellent, professional and friendly. The process to register was smooth, although their online document system was down, getting registered in person was easy. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable and I was in and out in under 15 minutes.

Exactly what I was expecting & super nice folks, from the security guard that greeted me to the young person checking my credentials then to the next security guard who escorted me into the purchasing area to the young lady taking care of my needs to the Pharmacist who double checked my purchases to confirm that they met my physical needs to lastly the last security guard who escorted me out of the location. All these young folks were great & very professional. Definitely 5 Stars.

Incredible experience. Great time to be living in VA. I have 3 conditions that cannabis helps with and the products they offer here are top quality and have helped more than anything I have ever had. I personally have experience with cannabis, and can say, the quality here is A+. The staff was amazing too, I didn't catch the name of the woman who helped me but she had a wealth of knowledge and took the 30 minutes to answer all the questions I had for my first visit to make sure I had all the knowledge i needed and make sure I knew exactly what I was getting. I have been to many dispensaries out west, and this was the best dispensary visit I have ever had. Virginia's medical cannabis program is ON POINT! Plus I found out they deliver to Roanoke, so no more 4 hour, 1 way trips for me! Great job Green Leaf! See you again soon✌

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Their stock has expanded quickly over the last few weeks. Ive used their delivery service, which is available after your first in-store purchase and is an unbelievable time saver. Both in store and delivery purchases are cash only as of my last purchase.

The dispensary is awesome. All the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. After your first in person visit you can schedule next day deliveries, and the delivery zone is huge. I got a delivery all the way in Hampton Roads!

I was anticipating the opening of the dispensary due to it's convenience, however they need to work out the kinks ASAP! The soft opening was a fiasco! Everyone was very nice, and the patrons were extremely patient considering how unorganized everything was. We had to wait an extensive length of time out in the freezing cold. The organizers provided all participants with water and disinfectant. The initial purchase payment was to be made in cash only. The price was considerably high in comparison to other dispensary's, especially since have other locations. They also need a better system of documenting and tracking patient registration information. I have not been able to register on their website to place orders, and there's no way for me to track my purchases on-line. I understand your newly approved in Virginia, but this isn't your first rodeo. Also, there should be a reduction in price to reflect all the discrepancies in the services. Don't start off poorly, there will be plenty of competition soon!
