Trainwreck
Overview
Trainwreck is a sativa dominant hybrid strain (80% sativa and 20% indica) which is a mix of two sativa strains (Thai and Mexican) and one indica strain (Afghani). As a result of the sativa dominance in this strain, it has a high THC level of 18% to 25%. Users of this strain describe its high as being very potent like you have been hit by a train hence the name “Trainwreck”. This strain has spicy, herbal, woody and pepper flavors as well as pungent, earthy, pine, lemon and strong citrus aromas and fragrance. The strain has a low CBD level of 0.02 to 0.1% as a result of the sativa dominance it possesses.
Trainwreck has an easy growth difficulty rate. This strain can be grown both indoors and outdoors but is ideally grown outdoors due to the fact that it requires moderate climates between 65 and 85 degrees Fahrenheit to grow ideally. It requires a substantial amount of water due to the fact that it is a large plant and it should be constantly pruned and topped. Trainwreck has long green leaves which flower in 8 to 10 weeks. It also has a high yield of 500 to 700 grams per plant and grows tall like most sativa dominant strains. This strain is also highly disease resistance which is the reason for its high yields.
