Overview

LA Confidential is a popular hybrid strain with both psychedelic and body relaxing effects. Combining traits from hardy Afghani strains, LA Confidential has phenomenal indica properties. The strain is a potent Indica dominant hybrid created by DNA genetics, specifically tailor made to enhance the therapeutic potential of cannabis. It is endowed with beautiful dark green leaves that fan out from the stems with red colored hairs parched beautifully on them. Bright orange pistils are evident with whitish sticky resinous trichromes giving a snowy appearance to the leaves. This strain is as hardy as any Afghani strain, being both mildew resistant and disease resistant.

LA Confidential has a mix of earthy and fruity smells; the taste is tolerable not sweets but not choking as well. Many patients appreciate this about this strain. It has high THC levels, testing between 18% – 25%. The hit is powerful enough to dissolve pain but does not knock you out completely. LA Confidential is a hybrid cross between LA Affie indica strain and a landrace Afghani strain. It was created by DNA Genetics and won the High Times Strain of the year in 2006 for its strong characteristics.
