Colombian Gold

Overview

Colombian Gold is a classic landrace sativa which comes from the Santa Marta mountains of Columbia. Due to the sativa in this strain, it has a high THC level of 19% to 22%. Users of this strain describe it to have a very potent high and the outer and inner surfaces are covered by amber trichomes which gives it a golden glow as its name stipulates. The strain has sweet, woody, skunky, lime and lemon flavors as well as skunky, pine, lime, lemon, sweet and earthy aromas and fragrance. Colombian Gold has a low CBD level of 0.6% to 1% due to the sativa which it possesses.

This strain can be grown both indoors and outdoors but is ideally grown outdoors because it does well in temperate to warm climates between 70 and 80 degrees Fahrenheit. Colombian Gold is tall (grows up to 6 feet) and branchy and is also resistant to mold and has a flowering period of about 10 to 12 weeks. It also has a high yield of 450 to 600 grams per plant and like most sativa strains, it grows tall.
