Chronic Widow
Overview
Chronic Widow is an indica dominant strain that is both useful for medicinal and recreational purposes. It was created in Amsterdam, Holland in the 1990’s and is a cross between two potent strains; a Brazilian sativa and a South Indian indica strain. It has high THC levels of about 23%. The cerebral hit that comes with this is spacey, it will make you feel like you have been transposed to outer space. You may also feel uplifted and in a good mood after you take a few puffs. The body hit is gentle and energizing. This is not the strain to give you a couch lock, so you can take it at any time of the day. The CBD levels in this strain are moderately high, making it ideal for use as a therapeutic strain.
The aroma is earthy but you will not taste much of this in the smoke. Chronic widow has a creamy rich smoke with spicy undertones. The plants grow to a height of 6.5 feet or even larger when grown outdoors. They large plants have dense buds that give a good yield.
