We just drove an hour to get here because Weedmaps & Google has this listed as recreational. It is not! It is Medical only. The front desk staff was await of the issue yet apparently nobody from their company has thought to update google or Weedmaps. As a business owner myself I’ve had to do this same thing and all it takes is a bit of time reaching out to google business and Weedmaps to update. We also tried calling the shop 3 times to confirm they were open and rec and all three time sat on the phone for 3-5 minutes each time without anyone ever answering. Save yourself the headache and find a shop that has correct and updated listing on google and Weedmaps

All I have to say is $170 for 1g vape cart. They have been taking advantage of the past medical only law. Now that legal rec. dispensaries are opening will Etain be forced to lower prices and increase quality? For example, start selling real flower. Not what NY considers the safer alternative. (Taking alkaloids out, sterilizing material and adding alkaloids back.) It's an insane process. It's not looking good for Etain unless they maintain zero competition for at least a 50 mile radius. It takes me 10 minutes to get to Etain and 1 hour to go to the next option in Massachusetts. I will continue to make the 2 hr round trip to Mass instead of a half hour and done at Etain. I find Calyx in GB Mass is by far the best I've been to.

I really like this place. The staff are always friendly, and I never wait long for my order. The only thing I will say is that the Etain brands are marked up too high. You can go to Curaleaf get the same product for $10-15 less. I would recommend purchasing the other brands Etain carries. I prefer the cartridges over the flower. I also highly recommend putting your order in online ASAP as they tend to sell out quickly.

Facility is clean and organized. But the woman at the front desk where you order was unfriendly and impatient. She didn’t ask what I was looking for, explain any of the products and didn’t even go over how their new vapes work (it’s a totally different design) even when I bought one. When I asked a few questions, she acted as if she was inconvenienced by having to answer them. The person checking me out was more helpful. But, overall, it was unwelcoming and very expensive. I wouldn’t go back.

I use it because it’s the closest one, but the weed is always a dark brown, which I hate. I don’t feel very high from the weed, I’m thankful it’s nearby though. I do wish they got better at drying their weed so it wasn’t so dried out and brown. I appreciate that it’s run by women. Lol well I’m jumping on here to add - their store was shut because of a storm - power outage couldn’t sell me weed- then I came the next day and my license had expired and they refused like the C**ts they are! Don’t waste your time I’m not what a terrible place!!!

Also, knowledgeable about their different products. Each time I arrive, someone opens the door for me. I love that it's totally handicap ♿ accessible! I've now visited every 2 weeks for the past 2 months. I like the fact that you save $3.00 by simply bringing your bag back, which I always forget 😊. If you sign up, you'll get discounts too! Updated - so their prices are still extremely high. Yes they did reduce their prices a bit to try and compete with Curaleaf or Botanist.. however it’s still more expensive. 130.00 for a gram in Etain is 120 in curaleaf. But curaleaf has 0.5 for 60-75 where etain only has 80.00 cost. Again they have come along way since this original post but please all the owners of the cannabis industry need to reduce their prices or else the black market will continue to strive.Way to expensive 200 for a half gram that is not even filled half way. Purchased the full grams first for an even more redic price. All of the carts broke and had oil leaking from the top or bottom. I had to go back 10 times to get them replaced. So over priced and shotty carts.I just came back a year later to see how the prices are and they are charging 135.00 (before tax) for 500 MG cart which is the same as getting 500 MG from Curaleaf for 70.00 or less. In Cakifornia you can get a full gram 1,000 MG for an average of 45.00 to 55.00. These NY companies are bleeding us dry but not as bad as all the ETain locations. DROP your vapo prices in half and watch the buisness. If you cant then yall are screwed and will continue to lose buisness.

I've been going here since they've opened, EVEN with the extremely high prices because of their staff. When it comes to the vapes DO NOT BUY FROM ETAIN. They are way overpriced, way too many inconsistencies with each vape, some empty fully some don't, each 2-3 second hit is different from one another. I could go on. I shouldn't have to wait every 3 to 4 purchases to get a decent vape. I have brought it to their attention multiple times before this post as well.

The people here are very nice, but the products are too expensive. Also, every time I ask about ground flower I am told it will arrive in two weeks to a month. I check back in a month and get the same run around. I had a bad reaction to the oral spray. And the vape cartridges have a burnt taste right away even when following directions. Major improvements are needed such as product representation and quality.

I have driven by this place so many times and due to the high prices I just always ended up choosing another dispensary. I even considered the extra time and gas and still it’s far more cost efficient. I finally decided to go in because I really do like their mission and I wanted to support it. Their selection is limited, but hopefully that will change with time.Their prices on the other hand I feel are just unjustifiable. I understand all the factors that play into overhead and the likes, but 50$ for a .25mg cartridge is a bit steep.Don’t get me wrong, the oil seems to be quite lovely. This somewhat dark oil that I am assuming is a full-spectrum is in a really nice tank (very nice components; adjustable airflow, solid steel mouth piece, and a pretty hefty copper contact pin). But it has these little, pin-sized holes that do not adequately supply the coil with the necessary material, in the necessary time in order to prevent it from overheating and scorching the coil assembly; especially considering how incredibly viscous this oil actually is.I tasted it at first and it was great, and then even with only short 1-3 second inhalation’s on blue (middle heat) within my 4-5th time using it, it began to burn my throat and it’s very obvious when a coil is scorching, especially if there is a wick.So 8hours into having this $50 ultra mini tank I was forced to continuously do the lighter trick, or hold it in front of a hot air vent to only get a sub-par dose at best.Now on the second day it bears no resemblance to the original flavor and doses are extremely light and somehow even so still burns my throat.The girl at the front counter was lovely.Though she did inform me of a discount that I would get as a new member on this first purchase, which now thinking back on- they did not actually give to me ????????♂️Oh and a previous reply to a comment of theirs mentioned them being on par or better priced than other dispensaries as far as per milligram content goes. Please, if I am incorrect then do fact check me on this Etain, as I certainly don’t wish to spread lies. But The packaging on my vape actually states that there is 252MG of THC and

My wife stopped here with a NYS medical card, everything was legit,they found her in the system. Had NYS ID ,medical card and the printed temporary medical card. Still wouldn't sell to her....even though she has bought from a few other places in NY. 5 star rating on staff interaction only!!! I had very high expectations of the vape cartridges from Etain due to the cost. I figured for over 3x the price of other cartridges with the same milligram content the quality should be much higher then anything I've had before. Unfortunately I was mistaken. The oil is very runny which indicates to me that it may not be excipient free. There is nothing appealing about the taste and to me the terpene profile is as important to me as the quality of oil. The potency is average. I had such a pleasant experience with the staff in the store and I did get a vape pen battery for free with my purchase which was a nice positive. I really hate to leave a negative review and I understand the medical program is very restricted in NY at the time which is probably part of the problem with pricing. Unfortunately I had to be the Guinea pig in this early stage of development and I feel I took a loss on this transaction. Thankfully there was a sale going on at the time, but then again the sale encouraged me to purchase 2 cartridges that I am unfortunately not satisfied with... double down for me. Overall very nice people dedicated to helping there patients. I just wish there were more options, and more details on the type of oil inside the cartridges. I hope this doesn't hurt Etain in any way, but helps to push for a better cannabis program in NY!

Yes they did reduce their prices a bit to try and compete with Curaleaf or Botanist.. however it’s still more expensive. 130.00 for a gram in Etain is 120 in curaleaf. But curaleaf has 0.5 for 60-75 where etain only has 80.00 cost. Again they have come along way since this original post but please all the owners of the cannabis industry need to reduce their prices or else the black market will continue to strive.Way to expensive 200 for a half gram that is not even filled half way. Purchased the full grams first for an even more redic price. All of the carts broke and had oil leaking from the top or bottom. I had to go back 10 times to get them replaced. So over priced and shotty carts.I just came back a year later to see how the prices are and they are charging 135.00 (before tax) for 500 MG cart which is the same as getting 500 MG from Curaleaf for 70.00 or less. In Cakifornia you can get a full gram 1,000 MG for an average of 45.00 to 55.00. These NY companies are bleeding us dry but not as bad as all the ETain locations. DROP your vapo prices in half and watch the buisness. If you cant then yall are screwed and will continue to lose buisness.

They are way overpriced, way too many inconsistencies with each vape, some empty fully some don't, each 2-3 second hit is different from one another. I could go on. I check back in a month and get the same run around. I had a bad reaction to the oral spray. And the vape cartridges have a burnt taste right away even when following directions. I have driven by this place so many times and due to the high prices I just always ended up choosing another dispensary. I even considered the extra time and gas and still it’s far more cost efficient. I finally decided to go in because I really do like their mission and I wanted to support it. Their selection is limited, but hopefully that will change with time.Their prices on the other hand I feel are just unjustifiable. I understand all the factors that play into overhead and the likes, but 50$ for a .25mg cartridge is a bit steep.Don’t get me wrong, the oil seems to be quite lovely. This somewhat dark oil that I am assuming is a full-spectrum is in a really nice tank (very nice components; adjustable airflow, solid steel mouth piece, and a pretty hefty copper contact pin). But it has these little, pin-sized holes that do not adequately supply the coil with the necessary material, in the necessary time in order to prevent it from overheating and scorching the coil assembly; especially considering how incredibly viscous this oil actually is.I tasted it at first and it was great, and then even with only short 1-3 second inhalation’s on blue (middle heat) within my 4-5th time using it, it began to burn my throat and it’s very obvious when a coil is scorching, especially if there is a wick.So 8hours into having this $50 ultra mini tank I was forced to continuously do the lighter trick, or hold it in front of a hot air vent to only get a sub-par dose at best.Now on the second day it bears no resemblance to the original flavor and doses are extremely light and somehow even so still burns my throat.The girl at the front counter was lovely.Though she did inform me of a discount that I would get as a new member on this first purchase, which now thinking back on- they did not actually give to me ????????♂️Oh and a previous reply to a comment of theirs mentioned them being on par or better priced than other dispensaries as far as per milligram content goes. Please, if I am incorrect then do fact check me on this Etain, as I certainly don’t wish to spread lies. But The packaging on my vape actually states that there is 252MG of THC and

I figured for over 3x the price of other cartridges with the same milligram content the quality should be much higher then anything I've had before. Unfortunately I was mistaken. The oil is very runny which indicates to me that it may not be excipient free. There is nothing appealing about the taste and to me the terpene profile is as important to me as the quality of oil. The potency is average. I had such a pleasant experience with the staff in the store and I did get a vape pen battery for free with my purchase which was a nice positive. I really hate to leave a negative review and I understand the medical program is very restricted in NY at the time which is probably part of the problem with pricing. Unfortunately I had to be the Guinea pig in this early stage of development and I feel I took a loss on this transaction. Thankfully there was a sale going on at the time, but then again the sale encouraged me to purchase 2 cartridges that I am unfortunately not satisfied with... double down for me. Overall very nice people dedicated to helping there patients. I just wish there were more options, and more details on the type of oil inside the cartridges. I hope this doesn't hurt Etain in any way, but helps to push for a better cannabis program in NY!
