I’ve been coming here since the day it opened and the one and only time I had an issue, I sent an email and got a phone call within a few minutes from the moment I sent it and the gentleman that called tried to resolve the issue right away. It’s always very clean, even the bathrooms are exceptionally clean! The staff is really friendly n helpful and there is a good variety of products to choose from !!!

Products are very good. Very good pricing, especially lately. But my biggest complaint. And why theory gets 3 stars. Is that the cartridges they sell. Which is "theory brand" just clog up too much. And will eventually come out of the mouth piece. I know this is common issue with all carts. But theory carts seem to be the worst.

I normally do not do reviews since I’m a medical cannabis patient from NJ and privacy is very important or me. During a recent visit to MA I stopped at the Barrington recreational dispensary and all I can say about the in house brand is WOW..WOW..WOW.. The in house brand “Theory” has very nice buds, not dry at all. I was a bit concerned because the flower was packaged over two months ago. The best part is the bottle and bag came with a Boveda and kept the flower fresh. Please come to New Jersey..See you on my next trip there.

This was my first time here and it was such a great experience. I went Saturday afternoon expecting a line and a complicated and intimidating time but there wasn’t any lines and the gentleman that helped me was great.Great products, and knowledgeable friendly staff. Not intimating at all. Definitely coming back.One thing is, I do wish that they took credit cards. Hopefully soon! 🤞🏼

What I appreciate first about Theory Wellness is that they're located in a very good area - which I'll get to in a moment.Their in-house products are very high quality and fairly priced. What I like most is how consistent they are with not only quality, but also with same products returning to their menu.There's a lot to do in the area. Great Barrington has plenty of lodging, restaurants and small businesses which makes this area perfect for a little getaway any time of the year.

Very very lovely shop! Has tons of merch that's smell-proof and a warm and inviting atmosphere! Staff was sweet and so helpful, and walk-ins are welcome, but orders online are quicker and give you lots of information on the products. When I visited, they were having a Onesie Day for the staff, so the workplace seems fun as well.The products I purchased were potent and very carefully packaged (with absolutely gorgeous packaging!), and other product options were displayed in a "menu" book at the front of the store. We were encouraged to sit on their couches and browse the product at leisure.All in all, it was lovely and quick service with amazing products, so I'd be more than happy to recommend this gorgeous place to anyone who wants a good dispensary experience!

Awesome dispensaryIn GB. Since there are more dispensaries opening up in the area the wait is only a few minutes. I love the variety. There’s only a few things I wish they would change. The containers for flower are so wasteful. The tinctures use to be better when they first opened up. I liked the Curaleaf brand which I use to get quite often. The Theory brand tinctures just don’t cut it and the black dropper containers make it hard to see how much is left.

I have been visiting this location for years. I've tried only a couple other dispensaries but Theory and specifically THIS LOCATION has never been a disappointment. The staff is always very knowledgeable and beyond friendly. You can tell they enjoy their job. I have always enjoyed my visit and even though I mostly do preorders, I am always in and out with almost no wait time. They are truly the best! Their product is also the best I've had as well 🙂

I’m sorry - I want to leave a positive review because of its location, staff, operation, and diversity of products. But nothing gets me euphoric, relaxed, focused, etc. The edibles have no effect on me, nor does the flower or oil.Strange really - because their products boast impressive THC levels, but for me, zero impact.Shame 😞

Right off the bat quick and efficient workers. The moment I arrived to the door I was greeted my I.D was scanned and I was looking around. I love the tall sealing and spacious everything. From the lines that are all spaced out and the registers plus up you fell like chilling go to the sofa. Just love this place, I'm from New York and I can't wait till we have something close to this. Always going to make this place my pit stop. Plus being from N.Y it was nice to see how things are operated and the amount of variety there is.

A little disappointed this time at Theory. I purchased two disposable pens, and some flower. Both pens were super duper low in volume. As pictured this pen looks as if someone either used it, or simply skimped. The reason I say it was used,—the other disposable pen I purchased gave out before all the product was gone. Not sure what the issue is, but I make a trek to come here and that certainly was disappointing. This is the second time I’ve had issues with their disposables being short, and their pre-rolls are always MAD short. There’s a new dispensary around the corner, I’d give it a try. I think Theory knows it’s “the best” now so they’ve assembly lined all their stuff and therefore have slaked on the quality. Super bummed, come here all the time.

Visited from VA. Appears to be a very well run organization. No non current ID no matter how old you are is accepted. Kids could never fake their way in, I feel confident. Flowers are pricier than street price but, edibles are a pretty good bang for the THC buck. A blessing for MA.and others visiting. This was my first dispensary trip. The ease of ordering ahead and picking up was nice. The staff was professional, friendly and knowledgeable. The product was decently priced and the quality was phenomenal. It was packaged neatly in reusable containers. My only suggestions would be to display more for consumers to look at as far as product and fight taxes! The picture wall was awesome, the vibe there was very positive and uplifting. Thank you !

I do not go anywhere else other than Theory Wellness in Great Barrington. Product is always on point. Pre-order process on their website is simple and intuitive. Barely a 10 min wait to get in to pick up my order during my most recent visit on a sunny Saturday when it was busy. Staff is friendly and informative. Prices are very reasonable especially for a long time consumer such as myself. You really can't go wrong shopping at Theory Wellness.

Good experience from start to finish. Well organized and easy to navigate website. The store is simple and we'll staffed with friendly and pleasant sale associates. The security guy leaves a bit to be desired but I suppose he is just acting the part. All in all, a good experience experience. My only peeve is the surcharge for using a debit / credit card. The stuff is expensive enough as is and should be more than enough to cover cost of doing business. Extra charge is in my opinion Tacky.

I visited yesterday because a friend of mine uses cannabis for whatever reason he uses it. I have to admit, although I don't partake in the whole ingestion of weed thing, the store was well-run and the staff was so friendly, that it was a fun experience visiting. The people that were shopping were from all walks of life and also friendly. Interesting visit, good for them. Definitely worth checking out.

This place gives you what you pay for. The quality of the products is good and what they claim. You just have to book an appointment online and they give you an hour to pick up your order. The staff is knowledgable and carefully show you what you ordered so there are no disagreements. The line might be long in some case, but come on if a business is popular don't complain about the wait time. The workers are working effectively to provide a service.

First time EVER in a legal place, very clean, smelled GREAT !! Absolutely no line at noon. Kassandra waited on my wife and I and she was awesome. Very knowledgeable, super pleasant, and really helped us out. Product is top shelf, and a nice treat that we will be doing a lot more of in the future !UPDATE: With other dispensaries in the area, it’s obvious Theory is not as good as I thought. VERY expensive as compared to others in the area, and the lack of varieties, the low THC on most of their flower has led me away from Theory. It sucks to feel like your being ripped off, so I’m O-U-T at Theory

High quality cannabis at reasonable prices. They’re usually very busy but the line can move quickly. Order online and pick up. They provide both medical and recreational marijuana for patients. I believe they’re just a distributor and they do not grow their own on site. Which isn’t a problem unless that’s important to you.

I went for the first time this past weekend and I was very impressed. The website is informative and easy to use. I pre-ordered for pick up on a Saturday afternoon. I thought it would be crazy busy but it was VERY organized. Staff was all friendly and helpful! I was in and out in about 5 minutes. I got a quality product and looking forward to going back!

I believe they are only doing pre-orders and their system for pick up means you don't get to go inside (at least for recreational users). No matter, they've got heat lamps and they are so efficient that you won't be out in the cold for long. Everyone there is super friendly. I can't speak to the quality or the prices, since this is the only dispensary I've been to. Maybe I'll have a basis for comparison once NJ opens up for recreational use next month.

Excellent selection and their online menu is easy to navigate. They fulfill orders MUCH quicker than shown online, which is awesome. Their whole in-person checkout process is very quick and seamless, even with COVID protocols in place. The staff is really friendly and organized, and have been really helpful with all the questions I've had regarding their products. Plus, there's plenty of parking which is a nice bonus.

Theory Wellness will hopefully be forever my go-to dispensary. If your from NY you've probably already visited or are thinking about visiting since the distance is so close. Theory wellness has a super knowledgeable and friendly staff, they have an answer to almost any question which is something that I really valued when I was a newer stoner. If you already know what you want their online ordering makes it super easy and convenient to order and pickup at your convenience. The products are incredible and their constantly changing menu always leaves an opportunity to find a new favorite strain or product. Theory is a really popular spot so I'd recommend trying to go during off hours like during the the week or in the morning when they first open. Weekends can be a nightmare of waiting in line with that amazing cannabis aroma teasing you. The only negative thing I can say about Theory is that here and there, the menu seems a little light. I suppose it's because they are running out so fast! Do yourself a favor and make the trip to Theory Wellness, you will not be disappointed. P.S. they only accept cash, or debit card, consider state marijuana tax and sales tax in your budget, and DO NOT FORGET YOUR ID.
