While the staff is nice, the selection is not always the best and the prices are criminal. As usual, Louisiana could not set up a program that actually helps the people who need it most (i.e., disabled people who need this for medicine). I understand why many people get cards from other states and travel there. It's just so cost-prohibitive here.

The negative I would say are the prices. $65 for 3.5 grams is a lot and worth the complaint. Besides this I support this business and I believe it will help our state to become legal recreationally.

First the prices are way too high secondly I love how they stopped texting that an order is ready and didn’t tell anyone that they’re stopping that. Also why not stay open until 6 everyday and why not open at 7am so people can get there either before or after work. They’re making too many hoops to jump through for people to get their medicine.

Just wish people were honest if I'm paying $100 for 7 grams I should get 7 grams not 6.4 I have a scale and weigh everything cause I trust no one ... But if you are gonna make people pay a ridiculous price for weed at least make sure they get what they are buying started off at .1 then it went to .5 the past two times now ... What am I suppose to do bring it back up and say hey ... They can't count or read a scale ... Berkel and Grease Monkey Carts were great for my chronic back and sciatic nerve pain. I swear I just replaced every other medication I needed with this one. Staff at front desk were very nice and helpful, Pharmacist in the middle area was knowledgeable and thorough. 30 minute wait time as a walk-in order, but that's only because I went at the literal busiest time so still shorter wait time than anything else I've had to wait for. Next time I'll definitely utilize their online ordering. 10/10 in my books.

Some of the most extreme price gouging I've ever seen. These criminals are charging $10,000 for a pound of medication that cost around $150 to produce.. not to mention it's bottom level canabis. Legally they should be in jail, if I over charged people like that I would be arrested and so would any of you. What makes them able to perform this illegal action? Sad to say but I make plenty money and the prices here have been detouring. Like many people said, this program has a long way to go. It’s a blessing to have a legal medicine(even though the bud isn’t up to par like most other states programs) but it’s a shame that majority of the elderly or sickly people probably can’t afford their prescription so they’re stuck using opioids, benzos, and other narcotics that are addictive and have a history of long term negative side effects. No wonder so many people are walking around like zombies and struggling to complete normal daily tasks in life.

Not bad, not great. This store has some work to do to compare to experienced out of state dispensaries. The biggest issues are pricing and time frames. They are charging high grade prices for mid grade (at best) products that are dry the instant you open them up. A few of the products received have tickets showing that they were packed a month ago, yet orders placed take a minimum of 2-3 days before they are ready for pickup if you’re lucky, sometimes longer. Far too long of a processing time for medicine of any sort. The couple of products that do actually work as advertised seem to never be in stock.With all of that said, I definitely think we need another dispensary in Lafayette so that this store has someone to compete with and becomes more realistic with their offerings. If and when these issues are addressed I will change my review to a 5 star.

I’ve been a patient here for a couple of years. Every staff member has been very courteous. When I first started coming, there options were pretty limited, and the pharmacist didn’t have much information about the different strains in regarding symptoms relief. Although that’s improved over the years. You do have to call in your order since it’s pretty much always busy, but when I pick up the wait is always quick which I really appreciate. It is truly a beautiful facility and I enjoy their aesthetic. I just wish the staff were more knowledgeable about their Cannibis products. Overall, I highly recommend this pharmacy!

I came here in hopes of getting help with pain management for my reconstructed knee. All was well until all of a sudden Kevin and Bailey start denying my refills because of some "limit" that my doctor did not set for me on my personal recommendation. I had full permission by a licensed physician who oversees multiple states medical marijuana programs to try any product with no limit and I was denied that service. I was left in pain and the staff at the Apothecary Shoppe were overstepping my doctors prescription. I was told after multiple discussions with Kevin that I should find a pharmacy that could better serve my needs.Also, my husband became a customer here a while after I did, and received a call one night from Kevin Lagrange asking him basic consultation questions. He was already an established patient there and Kevin did not even realize that. He even asked where my husband filled his medicine once he told Kevin that he used medical marijuana. Unprofessional and uncoordinated. Miscommunication left and right. Makes me as a customer feel like we were in the wrong place to begin with. Good stepping stone to actual healing but not the place for me. I am handicapped physically and couldn't even find comfortable seating in their lobby. A good Samaritan had to help me out of a chair there once. There is no reason for the treatment I was given when I was nothing but a helpful and respectful patient. I tried to always be helpful and give this business good word of mouth. I even brought 2 new patients into this location because I thought so highly of it at one time. I really wish this had ended better because I did enjoy the experience and ease of getting my products locally.I pray that no other patient ever feels this way because no one in a medical marijuana program deserves more pain than they already have. We the patients deserve comfort and healing. Take this review and learn, that is my hope. Not everyone is the same patient. No human deserves that kind of treatment. Sad world we live in when getting medicine becomes this much of a problem or hassle.Update 1/4::This company only seems to address the concerns that benefit their bottom line. And still telling me to contact with any questions knowing they can’t even help me. And after Kevin telling me that he can’t help me and I should go elsewhere for my medicine. Stop trying to save face and own up to mistreating patients or don’t bother responding. My husband wasn’t even given a proper consultation which is extremely negligent. I was given one. I have been a patient at The Apothecary Shoppe since Sept/Oct 2021. I throughly enjoyed the customer service every time I go in for a purchase. With that being said I was given some bad information recently from one of the pharmacist.I went in for a visit sometime the last week of December 2021 and I inquired about the availability of the flower products that was scheduled to be available starting January 1st 2022. I was told that yes the product will be available starting January 1st 2022 but they were not expecting. to receive any until mid 1st quarter of the year due to the grow cycles. Given that this is something knew I understood and was told that once it became available I would know due to it being the topic of the day in the news.January 3rd 2022 arrives and imagine my surprise that night when I read an article about the popularity of the flower product and the long lines at the dispensaries on the 1st day available which was January 3rd. I immediately go to the website to see what products are available. I was unable to login in that night so I decided to call 1st thing the Tuesday morning, January 4th. I called the morning of the 4th and spoke with a pharmacist about the availability of the flower product and was told yes it was available but due to the demand my order probably couldn’t be filled until later in the week or early the next week.I was very disappointed not only in the availability of the product but also that I was just in the week before and was given the information of it probably not being available until sometime in the 1st quarter of the year due to grow cycles. I feel as though I was told false information which caused a delay in me placing and receiving an order . I am more than sure the pharmacist knew that the availability of the product would be on Monday January 3rd. Like I mentioned earlier I visited the pharmacy around the 28th or 29th of December. The Friday was New Year’s Eve and the pharmacy is closed on weekends but the product was available to purchase on store the website Monday January 3rd. It is not the issue of having to wait to fill the. prescription but being told that the product would not be available starting January 3rd. I am not sure why misinformation was given to me but I do feel that bad information was told to me. I hope that they improve not only with product availability but also with supply knowledge.

The pharmacists are very well informed about their products and are thorough in their explanations of the applications. These products and people have changed my life. I was in a car accident as a teenager and have had back issues for decades. After talking with my Doctor I decided to try THC products. It's been life changing. I haven't taken a muscle relaxer or opioid since regularly using THC. I can easily get through the day with just a dose. I've been using as directed by the outstanding team at the Apothecary Shoppe and I've been able to home school and run a business. On pain killers and muscle relaxers-- this was nearly impossible BUT these products have given me my life back. The Apothecary Shoppe is a farther drive for me, but the affordable price, quality service, knowledge, and the friendly staff is the reason I drive an extra hour out of the way. Not to mention the fact that I no longer have to be on narcotic pain killers at all for the two ruptured discs in my neck !! While the staff is nice, the selection is not always the best and the prices are criminal. As usual, Louisiana could not set up a program that actually helps the people who need it most (i.e., disabled people who need this for medicine). I understand why many people get cards from other states and travel there. It's just so cost-prohibitive here.

Just wish people were honest if I'm paying $100 for 7 grams I should get 7 grams not 6.4 I have a scale and weigh everything cause I trust no one ... But if you are gonna make people pay a ridiculous price for weed at least make sure they get what they are buying started off at .1 then it went to .5 the past two times now ... What am I suppose to do bring it back up and say hey ... They can't count or read a scale ... Berkel and Grease Monkey Carts were great for my chronic back and sciatic nerve pain. I swear I just replaced every other medication I needed with this one. Staff at front desk were very nice and helpful, Pharmacist in the middle area was knowledgeable and thorough. 30 minute wait time as a walk-in order, but that's only because I went at the literal busiest time so still shorter wait time than anything else I've had to wait for. Some of the most extreme price gouging I've ever seen. These criminals are charging $10,000 for a pound of medication that cost around $150 to produce.. not to mention it's bottom level canabis. Legally they should be in jail, if I over charged people like that I would be arrested and so would any of you. What makes them able to perform this illegal action? Sad to say but I make plenty money and the prices here have been detouring. Like many people said, this program has a long way to go. It’s a blessing to have a legal medicine(even though the bud isn’t up to par like most other states programs) but it’s a shame that majority of the elderly or sickly people probably can’t afford their prescription so they’re stuck using opioids, benzos, and other narcotics that are addictive and have a history of long term negative side effects. No wonder so many people are walking around like zombies and struggling to complete normal daily tasks in life.

Not bad, not great. This store has some work to do to compare to experienced out of state dispensaries. The biggest issues are pricing and time frames. They are charging high grade prices for mid grade (at best) products that are dry the instant you open them up. A few of the products received have tickets showing that they were packed a month ago, yet orders placed take a minimum of 2-3 days before they are ready for pickup if you’re lucky, sometimes longer. Far too long of a processing time for medicine of any sort. The couple of products that do actually work as advertised seem to never be in stock.With all of that said, I definitely think we need another dispensary in Lafayette so that this store has someone to compete with and becomes more realistic with their offerings. If and when these issues are addressed I will change my review to a 5 star.

When I first started coming, there options were pretty limited, and the pharmacist didn’t have much information about the different strains in regarding symptoms relief. Although that’s improved over the years. You do have to call in your order since it’s pretty much always busy, but when I pick up the wait is always quick which I really appreciate. It is truly a beautiful facility and I enjoy their aesthetic. I just wish the staff were more knowledgeable about their Cannibis products. Overall, I highly recommend this pharmacy!

All was well until all of a sudden Kevin and Bailey start denying my refills because of some "limit" that my doctor did not set for me on my personal recommendation. I had full permission by a licensed physician who oversees multiple states medical marijuana programs to try any product with no limit and I was denied that service. I was left in pain and the staff at the Apothecary Shoppe were overstepping my doctors prescription. I was told after multiple discussions with Kevin that I should find a pharmacy that could better serve my needs.Also, my husband became a customer here a while after I did, and received a call one night from Kevin Lagrange asking him basic consultation questions. He was already an established patient there and Kevin did not even realize that. He even asked where my husband filled his medicine once he told Kevin that he used medical marijuana. Unprofessional and uncoordinated. Miscommunication left and right. Makes me as a customer feel like we were in the wrong place to begin with. Good stepping stone to actual healing but not the place for me. I am handicapped physically and couldn't even find comfortable seating in their lobby. A good Samaritan had to help me out of a chair there once. There is no reason for the treatment I was given when I was nothing but a helpful and respectful patient. I tried to always be helpful and give this business good word of mouth. I even brought 2 new patients into this location because I thought so highly of it at one time. I really wish this had ended better because I did enjoy the experience and ease of getting my products locally.I pray that no other patient ever feels this way because no one in a medical marijuana program deserves more pain than they already have. We the patients deserve comfort and healing. Take this review and learn, that is my hope. Not everyone is the same patient. No human deserves that kind of treatment. I have been a patient at The Apothecary Shoppe since Sept/Oct 2021. I throughly enjoyed the customer service every time I go in for a purchase. With that being said I was given some bad information recently from one of the pharmacist.I went in for a visit sometime the last week of December 2021 and I inquired about the availability of the flower products that was scheduled to be available starting January 1st 2022. I was told that yes the product will be available starting January 1st 2022 but they were not expecting. to receive any until mid 1st quarter of the year due to the grow cycles. Given that this is something knew I understood and was told that once it became available I would know due to it being the topic of the day in the news.January 3rd 2022 arrives and imagine my surprise that night when I read an article about the popularity of the flower product and the long lines at the dispensaries on the 1st day available which was January 3rd. I immediately go to the website to see what products are available. I was unable to login in that night so I decided to call 1st thing the Tuesday morning, January 4th. I called the morning of the 4th and spoke with a pharmacist about the availability of the flower product and was told yes it was available but due to the demand my order probably couldn’t be filled until later in the week or early the next week.I was very disappointed not only in the availability of the product but also that I was just in the week before and was given the information of it probably not being available until sometime in the 1st quarter of the year due to grow cycles. I feel as though I was told false information which caused a delay in me placing and receiving an order . I am more than sure the pharmacist knew that the availability of the product would be on Monday January 3rd. Like I mentioned earlier I visited the pharmacy around the 28th or 29th of December. The Friday was New Year’s Eve and the pharmacy is closed on weekends but the product was available to purchase on store the website Monday January 3rd. It is not the issue of having to wait to fill the. prescription but being told that the product would not be available starting January 3rd. I am not sure why misinformation was given to me but I do feel that bad information was told to me. I hope that they improve not only with product availability but also with supply knowledge.

The pharmacists are very well informed about their products and are thorough in their explanations of the applications. never had a problem with The Apothecary Shoppe, but today they exceeded every expectation I could have.I love my pax device, but because of an injury to my ribs vaping really isn’t currently an option.today I tried a new product which was very easy and simple I just requested it, and I must say it is beautiful that something so natural can be so healing.The pharmacist took his time to explain to me what to do and how to do it. he was truly amazing just as this place is truly amazing. I have been on and off of several muscle relaxers and pain killers for 4 years, since becoming a patient I haven’t touched a prescription bottle. Not only has the apothecary shoppe changed my life, it has made me a better person for my kids as well.Highly recommend!

I became a customer of this pharmacy earlier this year and my overall experience was not only so very disappointing, but unprofessional as well. I came here in hopes of getting help with pain management for my reconstructed knee. All was well until all of a sudden Kevin and Bailey start denying my refills because of some "limit" that my doctor did not set for me on my personal recommendation. I had full permission by a licensed physician who oversees multiple states medical marijuana programs to try any product with no limit and I was denied that service. I was left in pain and the staff at the Apothecary Shoppe were overstepping my doctors prescription. I was told after multiple discussions with Kevin that I should find a pharmacy that could better serve my needs.Also, my husband became a customer here a while after I did, and received a call one night from Kevin Lagrange asking him basic consultation questions. He was already an established patient there and Kevin did not even realize that. He even asked where my husband filled his medicine once he told Kevin that he used medical marijuana. Unprofessional and uncoordinated. Miscommunication left and right. Makes me as a customer feel like we were in the wrong place to begin with. Good stepping stone to actual healing but not the place for me. I am handicapped physically and couldn't even find comfortable seating in their lobby. A good Samaritan had to help me out of a chair there once. There is no reason for the treatment I was given when I was nothing but a helpful and respectful patient. I tried to always be helpful and give this business good word of mouth. I even brought 2 new patients into this location because I thought so highly of it at one time. I really wish this had ended better because I did enjoy the experience and ease of getting my products locally.I pray that no other patient ever feels this way because no one in a medical marijuana program deserves more pain than they already have. We the patients deserve comfort and healing. Take this review and learn, that is my hope. Not everyone is the same patient. No human deserves that kind of treatment. Sad world we live in when getting medicine becomes this much of a problem or hassle.

The staff is nice and helpful. The products are of great quality as well. They should open another location, due to work overload. However, I am sadly disappointed and a little disgruntled about the ridiculous prices. $105 for a half gram pax pen cart? $105 for a gram of distillate? That is propostrous. In Colorado the prices are 1/3 of that for recreational and even lower for medical patients. Why???

These products and people have changed my life. I was in a car accident as a teenager and have had back issues for decades. After talking with my Doctor I decided to try THC products. It's been life changing. I haven't taken a muscle relaxer or opioid since regularly using THC. I can easily get through the day with just a dose. I've been using as directed by the outstanding team at the Apothecary Shoppe and I've been able to home school and run a business. The Apothecary Shoppe is a farther drive for me, but the affordable price, quality service, knowledge, and the friendly staff is the reason I drive an extra hour out of the way. Not to mention the fact that I no longer have to be on narcotic pain killers at all for the two ruptured discs in my neck !!
