When I go to Affinity I always look forward to seeing Savannah, Dev, Bianca, and Connor. They’re always professional and help me out when picking strains get for pain. It’s always a pleasure to see them and I am super grateful for their assistance.

Comfortable environment; organized and clean; and every employee I've dealt with so far has been well trained, and pleasant to deal with. I travel to Affinity in New Haven over the dispensary down the street from me, and it's a 10 minute longer drive than the other. It's worth giving them a chance. Thank you, Carrie!

Why it is that each time I’ve used Affinity’s New Haven facility it takes a good 6 minutes to check me in, like today, while a number of others showed their cards and were passed thru without delay. Due to pain I had to take a seat while I waited. Finally inside, I asked to speak with a ‘pharmacist’. She was on the phone I was told so I waited. Nowhere to sit and it took nearly 10 minutes. Now her spending that time with another patient/customer is NOT a problem but when she did come to the counter I felt as though I had interrupted a break or I had been rude as she looked, not upset, but disappointed or maybe resigned to having to deal with me. I tried to explain what I wanted and she asked if I wanted a hybrid which is great but I mentioned that I have used indica flower for over 50 years and knew nothing about hybrid flower at all. Was looking for some insight and merely received a suggestion. I’m going to try the hybrid despite the lack of info.For the record the pharmacist at the Bridgeport Affinity spent a good 15 minutes answering my questions, recommending a topical product and then explaining what to expect. Oh, and he smiled occasionally. 😎

Every single time I go to affinity the atmosphere is always so welcoming. The music that plays through the building either makes you want to sing or dance. Security yelled at me while I was at checkout for wearing a hood in the facility then proceeded to follow me and make comments to other patrons as I was leaving. I am a medical patient with diagnosed anxiety!!!!! Learn to be professional!!!!!!! I can understand if they had mentioned it to me at the door but waiting till I was at the checkout then stopping me during a transaction to tell me to take my hood off as I am about to leave is strange. I don’t know what I did to make the security staff upset. I don’t deserve to have my liberties as a patient violated for wearing a hoodie. You have two check in spots for an ID and a lobby waiting area. The security guard could have maintained any level of privacy during the interaction as-well instead of blurting to the entire store I need to take my hood off then following me out the door. Why bring so much attention to it then act as if I am the weird one for being a bit taken back. Again mentioning this was in the middle of a transaction and I would have been out the door in a minute. Please don’t put on a security shirt and have an ego. The shirt does not make you Superman and it’s not an excuse to harass patients.
Excellent experience. First time here, was greeted at the door with directions where to go, but there were signs too. Simple security check-in, no wait in line, and Savannah was super friendly and informative. I had a recent name change so she told me how to handle it once I got my new ID so I wouldn't have issues buying or getting loyalty points. Also got the cheapest Green Coach delivery fee in my area so this might be my new home dispo (for adult use but they had medical too)
I agree with the other person who posted a recent review. Affinity grows their own and since they do they should always have second cuts available for those who can't afford full flower. They are excluding patients who used to get those second cuts at $29 a bottle, now they have to pay nearly double to take care of their Medical needs. I'm glad that reviewer posted that. You grow your own, there is no way you don't have second cuts from every plant you harvest. Please think about those you are excluding by not having those affordable second cuts.
Since Affinity grows their own, why is there no Smalls /second cuts always available for those who can't afford full flower? You don't have to wait till it's available from other companies. Medical patients used to be able to get a bottle for $29 now since recreational started you can't find second cuts/smalls. Affinity has excluded those who can't afford full flower. Those people can't meet their Medical needs because full flower is too expensive for them. If you grow your own why is there no second cuts always on the menu? There is no way that you can grow your own and not have smalls available all the time for those who can't afford full flower.Come on Affinity. You grow your own fix that issue. For every plant you grow you should have smalls. You should always have second cuts available. Don't exclude those who have a smaller budget. One time you always had second cuts available. Now you don't. You have no excuse, because you grow your own. Come on Affinity. Don't exclude those who can't afford $50 a bottle. It looks like you don't want to roll out the smalls so you can sell full flower. That's excluding a lot of Medical patients. You would make more money if you made those smalls available all the time for the less fortunate or simply those who used to buy the $29 bottles. Now they have to pay double to meet their Medical needs. Do better Affinity. Always have second cuts available. You grow your own.
Only place I ever go to! Management and staff are professional and friendly, it is a very clean facility, always a great stock, and constant deals and points in the reward system. Definitely recommend.
The workers are very nice, but you have to pre order and the consumer experience is like goong to a combination of a free clinic meets a probation office.And the products are more expensive, less choices and the flower is usually bone dry .Plus the parking lot is a nightmare.Go somewhere else if you can, if not, you can get something, which is usually better then nothing. Which pretty much sums this place out.Again, nicr people, but everything else kind of , well, sucks.Sorry guys.

I went on the 21st of March and good god, I would rather drive 6 1/2 hours to my old town in Buffalo, NY to spend $200 on great bud with the best prices I’ve seen than come back here and waste another dollar. Bud was dry and both bud and dab pen I got didn’t even do the job. It was such a waste of money and time driving here. Again, I’d rather travel back home for a large restock than spend the same amount here for the tiniest amount of merchandise I purchased.

Quality of product is that of someone who cuts cost by any means. It's dry and nasty, and thats $40 for 3.5g. I'm glad there is competition. And they probably deliver too. They won't do anything, but stop buying here!
Products are poorly labeled and I didn't discover I left with products I didn't order until I was outside. Sorry to give 3 stars but I have visited many dispensaries and this was the least of those experiences.
Good spot but they are jerking us around with 1g cartridges. Advertised as screw-in but juul like disposable when opened. I asked the woman at the counter to make sure and she assured me otherwise... Hoping they can start stocking regular screw-ins again. Also with CT tax it is almost more worth it to drive to MA.
As a medical patient of multiple years, I used to LOVE this dispensary. I started buying here as a customer in 2021, and since recreational has been enacted the quality of service here has dropped so hard it is actually astounding. Recreational patients move through the store with an expedited experience, and every time I go I sit in the waiting area for up to 40 minutes at a time and watch it happen. There are staff here who are so friendly, extremely helpful, and pleasant to interact with. I love seeing them. This does not make up for the amount of times lately I’ve had a bad experience coming here, and today I’m actually leaving the marijuana dispensary with worse anxiety than when I walked in. Won’t be coming back.
This place only accepts pre orders. What they don’t tell you is in order to place a pre order you have to give them your email and phone number. This is not a requirement or law, it’s a shady business practice and a complete disregard for people’s privacy. They will say you can check out as a guest or place an order on the kiosk in the store. But you still need a phone number and email for the order to go through. NOT COOL! It’s basically extortion. In today’s digital privacy landscape this kind of practice is frankly unacceptable. I’ll go elsewhere.

Best dispensary in Connecticut! The staff in front were so helpful! I wasn't sure what to order at first because it was my first time there, and they had such a wide selection. But one of their staff members Adam, helped me choose exactly what I needed based on how I told him I wanted to feel. Thanks for the help Adam!Once my order was placed, I practically didn't even have to wait for my order to be filled and ready for pickup! Upon arrival, I was not even greeted by the cashier at number three today it was an older, Spanish lady. She was too busy talking and laughing with other staff, took my ID again barely acknowledged me, and goes to Item in the back. At that time, on my phone I placed the second order for pick up just like any other dispensary would let you. Lady proceeded to tell me I couldn’t do that , cancels the order in front of me and tells me to order again and go around l through checkpoint. Worst customer service I’ve ever received at a dispensary. Please save your time and energy and focus on places that actually care about you , and not the money you spend.
Pros: Only a 5 minute from my drive. Pleasant employees, in and out quickly.Cons: very little selection, and like the entire northeast, jacked prices. Do yourself a favor and either just stick to the streets or book a flight to the west coast. It really isn't worth it.
The prices are very reasonable and the quality excellent. Very helpful sales staff. The only odd thing is that for rec under CT law you cannot but more than a certain amount per transaction, so you may have to leave and come back, especially if you live farther away. The gummies are very strong though ; I thought they may be a bit weaker.
Updated review June '23 .... Still nice folks with decent selection, but it appears that medical patients are no longer a priority here sadly.Mixing up the two operations was a huge mistake... every bit of the"personal" touch that kept me coming back is now MIA.Star rating REDUCED to 2 from 5. The gummy edibles work well for me. As a first timer who visited the Affinity location. It is good that their knowledge staff there. I visited on June 11, 2023 it was worth it for the purchase that I made definitely looking forward to coming back.
I have nothing but positive things to say about this cannabis dispensary. Quick and friendly service. Pleasant atmosphere. And their products work! I feel better already. My favorite dispensary in New Haven County out of the four I've regularly visited. Affinity's atmosphere is welcoming and uplifting. The store is efficient and well-staffed and the wait time is almost zero once you're in there. The orders are filled quickly and there have been no issues with receiving them. I'm really happy with my experiences here as a medical patient. Even though Affinity sells recreational cannabis, it's not chaotic and medical patients are prioritized with our own check out windows. [Tip: If you plan to go to Affinity as a new patient and place an online pre-order, make sure to *call them* and tell them you are a new patient. This will help them prepare for your arrival because you will have to do paperwork before they can fully fulfill your order.] Thanks, Affinity!
Best place on earth until they opened up for recreation. They don’t offer any of the higher percent, all attention goes to the higher paying recreation people, and they don’t have all the options they did before they opened to recreation use. I think it’s just wrong. WAY more expensive and no options really over 30 percent. And priced way higher than before—— When that’s what should have been left for the medical. No syringe refills. It’s become pretty gross. GO SOMEWHERE THAT DOESN'T DO RECREATIONAL. Here, they don’t care anymore. DO NOT WASTE TIME. No variety no higher percent and way too expensive for medical! I spend maybe 1k a month! I will be going elsewhere!

Affinity is absolutely one of the best dispensaries in New England forget about CT. I travel a lot and have been to many dispensaries between Maine, Vermont, Massachusetts and Rhode Island. The employees are like family and the owner himself is a great person! They will go above and beyond to help ease the difficulties we are facing as a medical patients. They also have a rewards program with each purchase which is awesome. If you want to deal with great people I recommend Affinity Health and Wellness.

Love this place! I've been to other dispensaries but the staff here is really friendly and welcoming. It's more like being a regular at the local corner store than going to pick up my medication - just good people.I wanted to shout out Nicole, Malcolm, Gina, and Inga in particular for making me feel at home every time I'm there. I'm sure there's others but I'm terrible with names.If I had one complaint it'd be the lack of high CBD flower at times, but they always have edibles and vapes to make up the difference, and I can't take off a star for that as I'm sure the growers likely have something to do with it too. I really can't think of anything else I'd change.Oh yeah, the wheel spin thing is a great idea. Just another example of how they make the whole experience that much better.
These folks are professional, knowledgeable, polite, and understanding.Their inventory is always as good as any dispensary in the state, but usually better. They have never disappointed me and always have what I need. Other dispensaries have all let me down in a few months but these folks have been spot on for years! I've recently joined Affinity Health & Wellness, and right off the bat I was extremely impressed!! Positive energy would be a major understatement! Hard to believe, but not one staff member failed to welcome me to the Affinity "family" on my 1st visit. How refreshing is that I ask? ^^I find one of the biggest "perks" to be their turn around time on orders. I had placed several orders on different days, and all were ready for pickup in 5 minutes or less! I can't be any more honest when I say that simply has never happened to me in all my dispensary travels. Did I die and go to dispensary heaven?? :)Last, but certainly NOT least, I had the distinct pleasure of meeting the owner Ray, who I can't thank enough. We had a conversation on the phone regarding a strain that just returned after being absent for some time. A strain that offers tremendous relief from my M.S. symptoms. When it recently reappeared on the menu's of most dispensaries, I asked Ray as to why Affinity wasn't stocking that strain and he informed me that that particular strain wasn't in demand in that area. However, he was more than willing to contact the grower and work out some arrangement with me. I hung up with Ray as he assured me he'd get right back to me....about 8 minutes later? He called! He asked me how much I needed and with that said, it was a done deal!... "I'll put them in your cart" he said!! I do believe It was truly at that point when I went into shock. That wonderful, almost forgotten, olde world customer service is PRICELESS!! There was absolutely zero resistsance from Ray to look into this matter, and he made it a priority. This speaks volumes to me as a consumer.I've asked myself what actually distinquishs one dispensary from another?Customer service. That's what!Here's what I look for in a dispensary:A positive environment, filled with knowledgeable/friendly staff who actually care. Staff who take their time to listen. Affinity has that covered BIGTIME....check!A good online ordering system with a fast turn around time for pickup. check!A full menu that offers a wide variety of strains/products, check!A very dedicated owner making it clear he/she is willing to work with you!! Love this place. Ive never bought my pot legally it us so nice and all the workers are very helpful in describing and informing me of what to get and what not to. There always happy and professional I don't know what I would do if they weren't around. Probably still taking methadone or some garbage medication I didn't really need.
The products always have been the best for me, service with some employees are not to positive. Sarcasm is mainly what I get from a few individuals. Other than that everyone else is fine. I did get ignored checking in today to pick up because an employee there is holding a personal matter against me because of my license expiring soon. Will be changing dispensaries soon just because of this little interruption of service.
I just changed my name to align with my gender identity, and the entire staff had learned my new name with ease the moment I told them. The people there are very nice and also knowledgable. The only improvement I would make is an option for credit card payments. 6/7 update: had a major problem pretty early into my business relationship with them- a product recommendation for an oil syringe that they swear is for vaping and I squirted the entire contents into my vape pod which only resulted in ruining the pod. Now they say they won't refund me because they still maintain that it's the correct product to use for vaping

An Excellent place to set up your mmj reg card too. I live close by somewhat, closer than all the others, and the staff is superb, enviroment is always impeccably clean, always well stocked, they have a wonderful variety of literally every type and strength of csnnabis products, including cbd. Prices are extremely reasonable, their flower is usually always properly sourced through good companies like curaleaf, theraplant, etc.Tho sometimes ive recieved stuff a month old and getting to point of extremely dried out, still unbelievable quality and its not the majority of the time that this will occur.Getting set up there was a breeze as well.You really feel part of a good community, as the employees are knowledgeable, caring, and get to know YOU, not some patient number.I recommend anyone looking at dispensaries, consider joining this one. Its superb in every way, even the parking is excellent, location is not too bad, traffic sometimes, and building provides safe security and privacy with blocked put windows, cameras, and a series of lock in doors for max security. Love this place.

(updated) I have had my medical card for over a year now after having seizures caused by TCAs. Not long after that I was put on another medication and developed very bad nausea/vomiting and THC was the best medicine to help me get off of that. Now Im dealing with ptsd and affinity has been very helpful for me in times when I needed the most help, and I really appreciate that. My symptoms have gotten alot better, and they are very nice, are always there for me. They made the whole pre order process very streamlined and efficient during the coronavirus ordeal. Also I could consult with the pharmacist over the phone within a couple minutes of calling affinity health and wellness. The right combination of CBD and THC can make a huge difference, and I appreciate everything the staff have done for me, here at affinity . Looking forward to seeing what the future holds for cannabis research, it looks promising.
Five star review with a cautionary tale. If you usually don't have edibles I strongly suggest buying the flower and making your own because you can measure how much you usually smoke however I bought their lemon lavender bars and got extremely sick I'm still sick when I'm writing this I read the warning I did the research I talked to the pharmacist and I only ate half the cookie but the hit was so hard that almost twelve hours later I'm barely recovered. Consider it carefully before you buy if you have high tolerance it's better for you if you don't don't eat the edibles.

My first time today I transferred from Milford southern ct wellness. I must say how please I am they made me feel very comfortable. Also the parking lot is way bigger then Milford, Milford was very professional but parking was very small. This dispensary is way bigger too a very beautiful newly built facility also the customer service was great both time I spoke on the phone or in person with two different lady’s and they answered all my questions. Lovely place full of lovely people.Inga was lovely and kind helping me on the phone before the appointment, and was even more wonderful in person!The first visit definitely felt intense, there were so many options. The pharmacist answered all of my questions and was knowledgeable about the selection.I also noticed how consistently kind and warm they were toward other patients. I heard patients making conversation with staff and courteous treatment all around. Just a really nice place to be.
