It feels like I'm going to visit friends instead of, for what was initially, an anxiety-producing experience.My only disgruntlement comes from the platform through which items are ordered. I've been a customer using this platform and stalking reviews often and have found poorly reviewed items to be removed and reposted. It can be very misleading. Otherwise, the dispensary itself is great.

Super friendly from the front desk individuals to the check out individual as well! I’ve had a medical card since 2020 and always gone into DC before. Heard about this dispensary opening up a while ago and decided to drop in tonight on a whim. Super easy process as a first time customer, love that I’m able to order on their iPad instead of trying to decide off a menu board (helps me with my indecisiveness)!! The wait wasn’t long once I submitted my order (only about 10mins), lots of customers (it’s Friday and w/ the upcoming weather so I was prepared to wait for a while). Will definitely be back, thank you!!

Deliveries are very limited from this location, only worked out 1 of 4 attempts. Had to go in person and placed a pickup, waited almost over an hour past when the pickup should have been ready. Placed a delivery order this morning, had to call store after delivery time window to find out that the delivery was cancelled. No notification or message about cancellation, placed order 4 hours prior to the only delivery time window that was available. Been to several Beyond/hello locations, most unsatisfied from this location. Great business, not a great location or service offered. Won't be ordering from here anymore, never get deliveries and pick ups take forever.

Kinda rude interaction with coming in for the first time. I did the online certification and filled in the online new-inpatient form a few weeks in advance. I decided to come in an hour before closing as I was told you’d just have to present your certificate and license and you can start shopping (and I already searched the site and had an idea of what I was coming for) came in and the lady at the front caught an attitude since I was a new patient and didn’t order previously online and because she’d apparently have to make a new patient profile despite me filling my info out online. She basically was trying to tell me I’d have to probably come back another day as it’d take too long to do and they’re closing soon… I apologized and she sighed and asked if I knew they closed at 8 and why I decided to still come right before closing (again I got there around 7 they close at 8…) and then said that she guesses she can try to get me in the system at least but I’d probably only have like 5 minutes to shop since there’s “ALOT OF ADDITIONAL PAPERWORK for me to sign and fill out”. I said that I already knew what I wanted anyways and she just glared at me… again by this time it was only 7:12… she took my license and tried to make it seem like my certificate was a screenshot or was for someone else until I showed her the email I had pulled it from. It only took her 10 minutes as well to get my profile up and going and she had me initial one thing at the end of her 10 minutes of scrolling on her iPad so I wasn’t sure why she was trying to make it seem like it was a long paperwork process. The entire interaction just made me feel very unwelcomed and unsure if this is somewhere I’d like to come in and shop again. I continuously apologized for coming in “so late” despite them having a whole hour of still being open and not knowing it’d be such a “process” for a new patient when I was told if I did all this stuff on the front end (getting the certificate, signing up online, etc) before coming in - it would be an easier transaction. Definitely just rubbed me the wrong way and she was so cold and unwelcoming from the time I came in and even as I was leaving. For any new patients - just order pickup online and try to come in before 6 I guess for a more positive experience… she was nice to the returning member though so maybe it gets better.

Once you are setup in their system it is fairly easy to place an order and drop in to pick it up. 3 stars because of cost and quality of product.To make things better it would be nice to smell and see the product prior to purchase. Placed a pickup order at 11:30, got a notification at 12:30 that it was “out for delivery”. I was confused because I heard nothing for the next 3 hours, then they called me at 3:30 (4 hours after my original order!) to tell me they weren’t going to be able to deliver it. I wouldn’t be so annoyed if there’d been any modicum of reasonable communication from the company, but they wasted hours of my time by making me think my order was “on the way” when it very clearly was not! I wasn’t even given a reason why the order couldn’t be delivered, just “sorry were not gonna make it”

If you are a new patient, don't come in the last hour of them closing... they frown upon that. They are very thorough. Orders are placed at a kiosk and then brought out. Most orders take 10 to 15 minutes to be processed.

Access to medical grade cannabis through Beyond / Hello has truly been a blessing. My cancer treatment made me lose my appetite, made it difficult to sleep, and generally being awake was hard. Taking a bite, toke, or rip from any one of their products instantly changed everything. I could sleep without pain, had an appetite again, and managed daily struggles a lot better. Getting registered is easy and there is even an on hand pharmacist to assist with recommendations!

They used to be a 3 stars. Here’s what changed: delivery! They used to handle their own delivery and they charged you a modest delivery fee. Then, they switched to High Road. An order that cost $65 in the store is now $115 to have delivered! Why? High Road does not honor BH’s discounts, they add a $3-$5 charge to ALL products, they only accept debt cards which have fees, and they still charge you a delivery fee! Does anyone care? Nope! When you have no completion, why would you care? At this point, they are a full on Monopoly and they know it. They don’t care about the customer only money. I am done with BH. I will wait until VA goes full recreational and other companies come in and drive them out.

Their operation is more streamlined for the customer now, so I think they should be commended for taking the feedback many have given and improving their service. This is the only medical cannabis dispensary in the area as of this post. You need a letter from a medicinal cannabis doctor and an state ID to get in the door. You cannot browse the products, you can only see them online, so be sure to place your order ahead of time if you can. Considering how many people live in NoVa, they do a good job, but they seem to do a lot of volume, and it's slow. The product has been good quality and reasonably priced. Hopefully they will sort out their staffing issues soon to speed things up a bit. Or maybe just use a bit of their products before you go there, and chill out. They're doing a good job and it's nice to have these products legally available.

Placed an order for pickup. When I called to have it changed to delivery they said they would need to cancel the order on their end and then I can go back and reorder for deliver. They confirmed they had one more delivery window for today from 5-7. Ok. No problem. I placed an order and received a text stating my order was received for delivery. Then 5 minutes later I get a text that’s it’s been declined. I called the store and the representative told me to disregard the text. He said it was sent in error and that they have my order for delivery. Well, that was not the case. I waited and there was no delivery, no call no text. Disappointing as I’ve been a patient here for almost a year and had no issues before.

My first visit today and it didn't go well. The right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing. No one wanted to own the problem, not even the assistant manager. After 30 min, I asked if my order could be canceled and they were ok with it. I work at a dispensary in Maryland, but live in Virginia, got my card and decided to visit Beyond/Hello. I know how a dispensary should work, this isn't how to do it. I wanted to support medical cannabis in Virginia, but I will have to support it somewhere else. Very disappointed.

When the associate finally said something, she told me “oh I didn’t see you sitting there”. What type of establishment is this. Never once did she call out my name or anything. Then I proceeded to wait more time in their freezing cold lobby for the pharmacist. I’ve completely wasted my day and will never ever return. The Philadephia location is so much better. If there was reciprocity, I would drive to Philly before I ever return back to Sterling. The store is that bad. I didn’t even want to sign up for loyalty points because I will not be returning.

I’ve been a patient here for about two weeks, and in that time I’ve received some of the friendliest and most knowledgeable service out of every dispensary I’ve been to, including CA, NV, CO, MA, and PA. This place rules!Sure. They don’t have 25 different indica strains and 30 sativa strains and 40 hybrid strains, but who needs that much variety?!? Honestly?!? Pick a vibe and get what they got cause it’s all tasty!!

I decided to come in an hour before closing as I was told you’d just have to present your certificate and license and you can start shopping (and I already searched the site and had an idea of what I was coming for) came in and the lady at the front caught an attitude since I was a new patient and didn’t order previously online and because she’d apparently have to make a new patient profile despite me filling my info out online. She basically was trying to tell me I’d have to probably come back another day as it’d take too long to do and they’re closing soon… I apologized and she sighed and asked if I knew they closed at 8 and why I decided to still come right before closing (again I got there around 7 they close at 8…) and then said that she guesses she can try to get me in the system at least but I’d probably only have like 5 minutes to shop since there’s “ALOT OF ADDITIONAL PAPERWORK for me to sign and fill out”. I said that I already knew what I wanted anyways and she just glared at me… again by this time it was only 7:12… she took my license and tried to make it seem like my certificate was a screenshot or was for someone else until I showed her the email I had pulled it from. It only took her 10 minutes as well to get my profile up and going and she had me initial one thing at the end of her 10 minutes of scrolling on her iPad so I wasn’t sure why she was trying to make it seem like it was a long paperwork process. The entire interaction just made me feel very unwelcomed and unsure if this is somewhere I’d like to come in and shop again. I continuously apologized for coming in “so late” despite them having a whole hour of still being open and not knowing it’d be such a “process” for a new patient when I was told if I did all this stuff on the front end (getting the certificate, signing up online, etc) before coming in - it would be an easier transaction. Definitely just rubbed me the wrong way and she was so cold and unwelcoming from the time I came in and even as I was leaving. For any new patients - just order pickup online and try to come in before 6 I guess for a more positive experience… she was nice to the returning member though so maybe it gets better.

    Once you are setup in their system it is fairly easy to place an order and drop in to pick it up. 3 stars because of cost and quality of product.To make things better it would be nice to smell and see the product prior to purchase.     Placed a pickup order at 11:30, got a notification at 12:30 that it was “out for delivery”. I was confused because I heard nothing for the next 3 hours, then they called me at 3:30 (4 hours after my original order!) to tell me they weren’t going to be able to deliver it. I wouldn’t be so annoyed if there’d been any modicum of reasonable communication from the company, but they wasted hours of my time by making me think my order was “on the way” when it very clearly was not! I wasn’t even given a reason why the order couldn’t be delivered, just “sorry were not gonna make it”

    If you are a new patient, don't come in the last hour of them closing... they frown upon that. They are very thorough. Orders are placed at a kiosk and then brought out. Most orders take 10 to 15 minutes to be processed.

The pharmacist greeting me first to help answer questions...and then, later, to advise about potential prescription drug interactions. Super awareness and care.     Access to medical grade cannabis through Beyond / Hello has truly been a blessing. My cancer treatment made me lose my appetite, made it difficult to sleep, and generally being awake was hard. Taking a bite, toke, or rip from any one of their products instantly changed everything. I could sleep without pain, had an appetite again, and managed daily struggles a lot better. Getting registered is easy and there is even an on hand pharmacist to assist with recommendations!

    They used to be a 3 stars. Here’s what changed: delivery! They used to handle their own delivery and they charged you a modest delivery fee. Then, they switched to High Road. An order that cost $65 in the store is now $115 to have delivered! Why? High Road does not honor BH’s discounts, they add a $3-$5 charge to ALL products, they only accept debt cards which have fees, and they still charge you a delivery fee! Does anyone care? Nope! When you have no completion, why would you care? At this point, they are a full on Monopoly and they know it. They don’t care about the customer only money. I am done with BH. I will wait until VA goes full recreational and other companies come in and drive them out.

    I left a negative review a few months ago. Since then, service has improved noticeably. Their operation is more streamlined for the customer now, so I think they should be commended for taking the feedback many have given and improving their service. Staff is really friendly and personable and wait times have come down alot. Will definitely continue coming here.

    This is the only medical cannabis dispensary in the area as of this post. You need a letter from a medicinal cannabis doctor and an state ID to get in the door. You cannot browse the products, you can only see them online, so be sure to place your order ahead of time if you can. Considering how many people live in NoVa, they do a good job, but they seem to do a lot of volume, and it's slow. The product has been good quality and reasonably priced. Hopefully they will sort out their staffing issues soon to speed things up a bit. Or maybe just use a bit of their products before you go there, and chill out. They're doing a good job and it's nice to have these products legally available.

    Placed an order for pickup. When I called to have it changed to delivery they said they would need to cancel the order on their end and then I can go back and reorder for deliver. They confirmed they had one more delivery window for today from 5-7. Ok. No problem. I placed an order and received a text stating my order was received for delivery. Then 5 minutes later I get a text that’s it’s been declined. I called the store and the representative told me to disregard the text. He said it was sent in error and that they have my order for delivery. Well, that was not the case. I waited and there was no delivery, no call no text. Disappointing as I’ve been a patient here for almost a year and had no issues before.

    i’ve been back and forth with this place a lot, but this is most certainly my last time. placed a pick up order at 3 pm only to have it stuck in “preparing” all the way until closing. I never got my order. I never got a notification that it was ready let alone the fact that it was running late. i guess this is what happens when a state chooses to go the corporate cannabis route instead of helping out smaller and MUCH more competent businesses. products aren’t even worth the trouble or the wait. my best advice to you reader: just go to D.C. this place wont last very long once more businesses start opening up around here.

    My first visit today and it didn't go well. The right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing. No one wanted to own the problem, not even the assistant manager. After 30 min, I asked if my order could be canceled and they were ok with it. I work at a dispensary in Maryland, but live in Virginia, got my card and decided to visit Beyond/Hello. I know how a dispensary should work, this isn't how to do it. I wanted to support medical cannabis in Virginia, but I will have to support it somewhere else. Very disappointed.

Got there before it closed, was let in the door but the girl at the desk must have really wanted to go home because she said I couldn't be helped. I count on the website being updated properly so I can plan ahead. If you can't serve people put it on your site. Otherwise when people get there on time they should be served.

When the associate finally said something, she told me “oh I didn’t see you sitting there”. What type of establishment is this. Never once did she call out my name or anything. Then I proceeded to wait more time in their freezing cold lobby for the pharmacist. I’ve completely wasted my day and will never ever return. The Philadephia location is so much better. If there was reciprocity, I would drive to Philly before I ever return back to Sterling. The store is that bad. I didn’t even want to sign up for loyalty points because I will not be returning.

I’ve been a patient here for about two weeks, and in that time I’ve received some of the friendliest and most knowledgeable service out of every dispensary I’ve been to, including CA, NV, CO, MA, and PA. This place rules!Sure. They don’t have 25 different indica strains and 30 sativa strains and 40 hybrid strains, but who needs that much variety?!? Honestly?!? Pick a vibe and get what they got cause it’s all tasty!!
    Never been inside! But I take a friend for their refills. My friend always says good things. I on the other hand am stuck waiting outside for 45 minutes or more.

You are not allowed entrance without the proper documentation.Staff is very nice, will talk to you about any questions you ask and will guide you through the process. Not sure where to start? They will help you through it all.These are the few places in Virginia that can dispense this type of medicine to you as long as you have all your proper documentation intact when you come in.
