White Buffalo
Overview
White buffaloes are quite rare to come by, and so is the White Buffalo strain of cannabis. This unique strain is a sativa dominant (80/20) hybrid that is the result of crossing Romulan which is an indica strain with an unnamed cross between Blackberry Kush and Bay 11. This strain is quite potent and has energizing cerebral effects. With THC levels of around 25%, White Buffalo is a favorite of seasoned stoners.
In spite of its rarity, the appearance of this strain is nothing to write home about. The buds are clustered together with leaves spiraling around the stalk. The green color of the leaves is unremarkable, the orange colored pistils however stand out. This is a highly resinous strain. You will notice the white and sticky trichromes covering the surface of the leaves giving the leaves a whitish appearance, hence the name white buffalo. The resinous coat makes it very difficult to break this strain without the use of a grinder. Being this resinous makes this strain ideal for hash production.
The scent emitted by this strain is musky with some berry undertones that must be originating from the Blackberry Kush. The smoke is harsh on the throat and leaves an earthy taste behind. The hit gives a cerebral buzz that may first be felt around the temples and the eyes. Soon after, euphoria kicks in and the user is more relaxed and focused. This strain gives a mild body high too.
With the high THC levels, White Buffalo is great for the daytime or energized evenings when you wish to take a hike or just have a chitty chatty evening with friends. However, do not take this when you plan to sleep soon afterwards, as you may end up being awake for much longer than expected.
