Overview

NYC Diesel is a sativa dominant hybrid strain that is a cross between Mexican and Afghani land race strains. With this strong genetic heritage, this strain has won different Cannabis Cups, not once, not twice but nine times. For most patients this is the ideal wake and bake strain, but for a starters the cerebral high may be too overwhelming and it may be advisable to have this in the evening.

This strain like most other sativas gives an instant mental boost that clears the mind and produces euphoria. For this, it is very useful in combating mental health issues such as anxiety disorders and depression. It has THC levels of between 15-20%, this is moderately high and new users should be warned that the high may be overwhelming. This is a very citrusy strain with spicy undertones. The scent is quite potent and will fill up the room once you expose the buds. The hues are a mix of blues, reds, orange and light greens. It gives of the impression of a peacock colored herb. Origin
NYC Diesel is a creation of Soma Seeds with an interesting story to this. Soma was gifted some cannabis seeds by a friend in Big Apple. This friend claimed that this was the best strain that he had ever tried, and clearly one could see the effects on him. Soma took the seeds and used them to create NYC Diesel. It is believed that the true origins of this strain are a Mexican Sativa and an Afghani strain.

Terpene Profile

Pinene
