Best loyalty program in the city. Libirty app give points back on every purchase as well as monthly perks. Most other programs do one or the other. And the points back per sale are at much better rates than other programs and are good for anything in the store plus the points/ money in your libirty wallet stacks and dosen't expire.
New management (Zach) here as of October 2025 absolutely is horrible. They didnt save my order and then tried blaming me. I spoke to several people over the phone asking to save my order and they said they would. I showed up an my order was not available at all, it was sold out. On top of that i was spoken to extremely rude over the phone by a employee who said he was going to flag me for complaining about the price of a item they didn’t save for me. Never again will i shop at the Dormont Liberty. This is the 3rd different complaint I have heard regarding the new Management.
This USED to be my favorite dispensary in Pittsburgh. But the new GM is so subpar it's unreal. On October 7, I placed an order online at Liberty Cannabis on W Liberty Ave in Pittsburgh. I expressed to your receptionist that I wanted to speak with a pharmacist because I wanted to add to my order and wanted to speak to someone knowledgeable about the strains and their medical benefits as I've been having a worsening arthritic issue and candida as the result of having Sjogren's Disease. I was informed there was presently at 5:30 pm no pharmacist on staff, but I would be paired with a manager. The """manager""" knew less about cannabis than I did other than the fact he liked to use it. The other employees were chiming in on my questions where he didn't know the answers, and overall I was not satisfied. But I thanked him for his "help" (though his blank stare as I looked through the menu and all he did was recommend Strane products like a sales man), was about as much help as I got other than "I think, I guess". He didn't even make any efforts to look things up. Since I added to my order, my total was about $80 more than my online order. But I noticed I had received an old receipt stapled to my bag instead of the updated one. I received my updated receipt and left. I noticed upon arriving to my mother's house about 15 minutes away that I was given Wedding Kush instead of Wedding Grapes even though the "manager" went over my order and recited "Wedding Grapes". I called and had to come back up to exchange it. When I arrived the "manager", asked me what was wrong and tried to blame it on adding to my order. But, this was one of the original items from my original online order. Then it took him 10 minutes to figure out the computer to exchange the product. He stapled the bag and said "there you go all set". No apology. I stood there and waited for 15 seconds, and he turned away awkwardly. I said excused me if I made someone come all the way back because of MY mistake I'd AT LEAST apologize. So he very sarcastically uttered "sorry for the inconvenience”.I told him "wow dude I have no idea how you got to be a manager but I am going to call and email your headquarters and find out.”His response to me asking your receptionist for the corporate number?Are you KIDDING me? Is this how you treat people?
Tell me you changed management without telling me you changed management… Some typical dude bro must’ve been friends with somebody who promoted him because there’s no way this guy this new guy who’s a manager now as of October 2025 should be a manager. He was not at all knowledgeable about products there was not a pharmacist on staff he messed up my order I had to come back to the dispensary to do an exchange and then instead of apologizing after 12 minutes of him figuring out how to fix it he said there you go all set never even said sorry and when I called him out for not apologizing he very sarcastically said sorry for the inconvenience and I turned around and I said you know what while I’m calling headquarters because that’s not good enough at this point I shouldn’t have to train you to be a manager you should’ve already been taught these things. So he had Security follow me out like seriously? I’m never coming back go see for yourself the whole experience there is not the same anymore and this guy clearly doesn’t care about patients. he’s just taking home a paycheck
I fail to recall the name of our budtender, but he did an amazing job of assisting us with choosing our selection and recommending different products. Exceptional service, great selection, and got a claw machine price! Highly recommend!
They’re the best! Very friendly and knowledgeable. The store is always clean and decorated in some cute way. Thankful for everything the staff does
At one point best place in Pittsburgh but idk if that’s true anymore. Use to have awesome deals I mean the best but no longer. It’s like they took the customer base for granted and cut out good deals, increased pricing, and give out shitty deals now. Also it’s to repetitive anymore still pushing that strain we’ve all had since the beginning. No I don’t want more Hand Garcia. I was a good customer large orders consistently. Go to Ethos get some of their stuff (eleven) at a great price and you won’t go back to liberty.
The staff is very friendly and patient when discussing product options or the way the reward system and the paired app work. Which their reward system is a great way to save money without any hassle. Best I’ve been to!
Workers are extremely friendly and offer an inclusive environment. Any questions you have about brands or effects, they are more then educated with every product in the store. The bundle deals are also unbeatable, the value is better here than anywhere else in my opinion.
This is by far the best dispensary in Pittsburgh. I’ve been here enough I’ve dealt with all of the staff & they’re amazing. They have good deals. And I wish I knew a few names because they are my favorites, but I know one is bob, and he’s great!

Been coming here a few months now. Every employee has been very helpful and knowledgeable about the medicine they have available. They have a wonderful rewards program and have an app as well. So convenient. Best dispensary in the state in my opinion. If you haven’t been there yet you definitely won’t be disappointed with your visit.
I had a wonderful conversation with Jordan.He took the time to explain liberty wallet, the discount system, and was a very polite and engaging while speaking on the phone.The shop is very clean, and almost always has more than enough staff to respond to orders they get during the day.10/10
One of my favorite dispensaries around! I normally order/pick-up during the week and I’ve never had to wait more than 5 minutes. Everything I’ve tried from their in-house brand, Strane, has been 10/10. Staff is always super friendly and welcoming, would definitely recommend!
I love this place. Great customer service skills, awesome environment. Will be informative and chat if need be or get you on the go if you're in a rush. They are very accommodating. Love the veteran discount and liberty wallet. So convenient. Will always be my go-to. Would recommend and do recommend
When I obtained my medical card I never imagined all of the knowledge I would gain that would greatly benefit the reasons I was approved for it.For me it's way deeper than just getting stoned, I wanted to learn about terpines and how each one has a specific purpose, pros and cons depending on your ailment.Knowing what you are putting into your body is so important.For me i found Terpinoline is actually an anxiety aggravator which is found in a lot of the Sativa strains.I always chose it because It was the one that wouldn't put you to sleep ,you could still function.Downside is it was aggravating my anxiety and I didn't even know it.Knowledge is power.The staff is absolutely AMAZING, I have NEVER had a bad experience.I always left with a smile on my face and a new knowledge and respect for the plant.It's not about just getting stoned , it's about quality of life.No withdrawal from anti anxiety meds, no more being a guinea pig for Big Pharma.No more horrible side effects from the doctors pushing their most recent popular drug down your throat.Always wanting to load people up on the most horrible things for "normal life things"Now I feel like I have a responsibility to advocate for patients that are under 18 who desperately need the benefits from this plant but they are being discriminated against because of their age and because these doctors don't want to get sued.The logic is ridiculous.These doctors will dole out hundreds of thousands of deadly opiates that are a known killer but they are scared of marijuana that they KNOW FOR A FACT WOULD BE A GAME CHANGER FOR THEIR PATIENTS.But a lot of them are scared even though they know it's a better, safer alternative.At that point you should just quit your job for not advocating for the quality of life of those patients.I'm grateful to everyone that has helped me gain the knowledge I needed to help myself and advocate for others around me that are still suffering.Y'all know who you are.
