I have bought 9 carts on 3 occasions.. 4 of them where all in one disposable and out of these 2 where completely dead battery. So full of juice and not able to use down 110 bucks cause can't exchange or return them.I am sticking with the medical dispensaries for now. But for people without the card it ok I guess.

I am extremely disappointed with the treatment I’ve received from this establishment. I had several questions and filled out several forms, only to be ignored. Finally, I decided to make a purchase although I required more information. It was evident no one was getting back to me. So, I placed my order. I waited and waited and waited. Finally, the confirmation email comes through…only to tell me that my order has been cancelled and to call the store to find out why. So, I immediately call. Low and behold, of course I get automated robot-like assistance, informing me that I must wear a mask to comply with Covid constrictions. I guess they never bothered to update their answering service. When I press the “number” to be transferred, I am sent to a mobile voicemail. I left a message, submitted another form online and then sent an email from my personal email (replying to their message about calling the store). The end result…absolutely NOTHING. No contact, no answers, no product, and no regard for a patients well-being as far as I’m concerned. We had three neighbors other than myself, all ready to take a trip to the Botanist. Well, let’s just say we made it to the Sunnyside destination…and we will NEVER attempt to deal with The Botanist again. In fact, one of the neighbors was a weekly customer! He won’t be back…so although you may not care (obviously), you have lost 3 potential customers (along with the few that believe a mask is STILL required to enter your establishment). There are MUCH better options out there…please take it from an experienced user and buyer for over 30 years.

The selection is really small. Sativas and Hybrids outnumber the Indicas by far. Most of the strains labeled Indica are hybrids made by Curaleaf or Botanist and actually feel like Sativas. And most of the strains, even Indicas make me really paranoid because of this. I get really paranoid with Hybrids and Sativas so I can only do pure Indicas, but Botanist doesn’t have many options, even their Indica strains are paranoia inducing for a lot of people because they contain a big percentage of Sativa. So I can’t purchase anything. The better Indicas they do have are only vapes. I really wish they’d carry pure Indica flowers. Things like pure Indica like Hash Plant, Afghani, Northern Lights, would be great. Other than that, I had a good experience last time. I wish I could return.

There was a time when you would walk in the a nice selection, pleasant staff, enjoyable conversation, even decent deals and prices. Clearly those days are gone, unfortunately those of us who actually need to use Medical Marijuana and have to come here would appreciate not being treated with disrespect when we come to pick up our medicine. Total disrespect from current employees because the system can”t seem to hold a customers information with regard to what discounts or general information. Instead you get treated like you are bothering the botanist employees by picking up your medication and expecting to be charged the correct amount. Not to mention I personally had to stop getting my most effective medication because each time I got it it would be filled to different amounts each time (never full). God forbid you speak up on the subject, you get told “Unless you ordered on line there’s no way to rate the product and warn others of a potential scam. The sad part is even though there will be other dispensaries o am stuck here unless I want to be charged more for the same product. Customer service goes a long way, treating your customers with respect goes even further. Much poorer quality service lately. Poor product quality, just ahat I wanted from my pharmacy.

Possibly change your deals, they aren't very enticing and the variety of products is extremely limited. Hasn't had flower in stock in like 4 days, will only use them in a pinch or never again.

I’ve been coming here for two years. I’m not going to use them going forward. I was amassing “points” to get a nice discount right before the end of the year. Not so fast! The points are NOT applicable as you might get on other platforms. I wanted an item on sale for 50. I couldn’t use my 40 dollars worth of points. They don’t tell you anything about needing to buy two items to receive the 40 dollar credit. Ok, bad enough… one item is able to be purchased with the first 25 bucks. Ok, bad again. The item is on advertised sale from 65 down to 50. Looking me right in the eye the clerk tells me I’m getting a whopping five dollars off! They want to use the full price even though it’s on sale… I just left. I don’t think I want to be jerked around anymore. I’m sure this happens, but I’m using points everywhere else without trap doors for the vendors to escape through.

1st NY Medical dispensary visit. Very friendly staff, but not the most knowledgeable. No concentrates for proper dabbing. Pricing and effectiveness of 9.5mg gummies good. These 9.5s are better than the alleged local 100+mg liars. You know what I mean. I did not try the flower, but $50 for an eighth is a bit much. As for local dispensaries, this is the one for me, but until the prices on flower is better or they get good concentrates I'll stick with their gummies. Oh, and I am trying their RSO capsules.

The staff here is amazing! I have never had a bad experience here and they do everything they can to make you comfortable and answer questions. Very generous reward program and they have events on Sundays and Wednesdays to earn extra rewards points. I use the pre pay option when I can, and I am in and out. I tried other dispensaries but no other place comes close to the customer service here.

Today was my first day going to The Botanist, and I'm so sad I've waited this long. Other dispensaries on 110 make you feel like a criminal when you walk in. Not at The Botanist. I was welcomed by a great staff that had personality and took the time to talk to me and recommend certain products. At the other dispensary on 110, you have to wait sometimes over an hour for your products, but not at The Botanist. No wait times, and I walked out with my products! Looking forward to doing more business here.

I have been coming to The Botanist since it opened. I have been to 3 other dispensaries since Medical became available in NY.I find most of the selections to be quite similar from one to another. I also know the amount of time is involved in the purchase process.It’s a lot of state government rules that they must follow as a regular pharmacy but they aren’t pills in a bottle and mistakes might jeopardize their business.That being said I have found that they have the best staff I have ever dealt with. They pay attention to your problems and questions with great patience. They don’t rush you while you are being attended to but they go non- stop to provide the fastest possible process for all of their patients.You can tell how a business is run by the interactions with management and they will try to help you in any way they have done a great job operating the business but most impressive is that they have been fortunate to hire some really special people who always make you feel comfortable. I can tell you that if everyone sells similar items for about the same cost then there are only two real reasons to shop is location and they are located along the Nassau-Suffolk border close to the college on Rte 110.They offer assistance with your medical card renewal. They have special days to offer specials and reward points that count as dollars, your purchases also accrue for discounts as well.In closing.Product selection-above averagePrice is comparable with anyone elseLocation is south of LIE and north of Southern State on Route 110 in Farmingdale, just after the traffic light on Rte 110 at Adventure Land on the right (east) side from the south with ample parking.

I would like to leave a review for the Botanist in Farmingdale. I met a true angel that day by the name of John Burns ( the dispensary pharmacist. ). I would also like to add that everyone we dealt with there was sweet and kind- I just don’t know all of their names. My mother has been in severe pain for the past 2+ years and has been from doctor to doctor and ER visit to ER visit. I am trying to help her and trying to figure out what to do with her severe pain. She’s almost 80 years old and has some severe G.I. issues that cause her almost constant pain and inability to pass stool and she has severe gas and intestinal issues almost on a daily basis. She is at her wits end and is down to about 80 pounds. I don’t know how much longer she can survive like this. We have been to multiple doctors and we have been to some of the best including York City Mount Sinai and multiple doctors on Long Island. Nothing seems to help. I am her daughter so out of desperation I took time off work and came down to Long Island to help her (I live about eight hours away in upstate NY). I had read that marijuana might be helpful for her condition to at least to help her deal with the pain. None of us were expecting a miracle cure. We went to the Botanist and met with John. He spent over an hour with us and couldn’t have been kinder and more helpful. John was super realistic about everything and told us that it was not a miracle cure but did advise us on how to use the products and help with her pain. He also gave us advice on other things she should try such as drinking more water etc. This man was truly a saint was was as kind as could be and spent a tremendous amount of time with us (well over an hour) even though they were super busy. I believe this helped my mom last night from ending up in the emergency room once again. I was able to give her the medication and it definitely helped her and prevented another useless ER visit. I can not say enough kind things about John and the entire staff at the Botanist. They are truly professional and kind people. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. This place exceeded any expectations I could have ever had. Thank you so much- I highly recommend this place for all they do to help people.❤️

Been going to The botonist exclusively for almost a year now and here are my thoughts:- Farmingdale Location is easy to get to and has sufficient parking. The inside is as tranquil and modern looking as you can get.- The team is not only extremely friendly, but well-educated on the product line they have, leaving no questions about what you're leaving the store with.- The current Covid situation caused, like all places, to tune their practices to enforce social distancing. I personally feel this team has done a great job, but would like to see a better system for knowing the current capacity of customers inside before trying to get in (can be confusing).- Pricing: This one is entirely subjective, but people have to understand the local supply and current NY laws cause the current prices compared to their street counterparts. Although it can be a bit pricey currently, there's no doubt that it will start to drop as laws are reformed to make it easier for dispensaries to increase their local manufacturing. Boost: The Botonist has their own line of carts, Boost. These are astronomically better than the original exclusive pharmacann carts, in terms of quality of cart and oil within them. I like the pharmacann 20:1's a lot, but they can clog pretty easily due to the construction of the carts. I still recommend trying all of them to see what best fits your needs.If you are looking for a dispensary that offers the best experience, customer service, and quality of product, look no further than The Botonist.

I drive 45 minutes to patronize your Farmingdale location. I won't be again. I ordered online for pickup with a 10% discount that your dispensary didn't honor. Signs outside state 4 person maximum in the lobby. When I was let into the lobby there were already 4 people there. Making me 5. The cashier area has a glass window with a delivery slot but he came into the lobby to give me my bag of medicine. I noticed that all of the workers inside including the manager were not wearing masks. If your front line workers don't respect your customers enough to wear PPE and protect them, I cannot shop at your dispensaries any longer.

I was treated so well here, I felt like a queen. I was warmly welcomed at the front desk, seated in a comfortable chair and given a cold bottle of water. Even though I left my prescription at home, I was assured there was no problem as long as I was getting a refill of my previous prescription-- which I was! It took less than 15 minutes for the script to be filled and I was on my way. I even got 10% off because I had Medicare. Bonus! You can't use credit cards, cash only, but I remembered from last time, so I came prepared. Nice people, great experience!

I have bought 9 carts on 3 occasions.. 4 of them where all in one disposable and out of these 2 where completely dead battery. I am extremely disappointed with the treatment I’ve received from this establishment. I had several questions and filled out several forms, only to be ignored. Finally, I decided to make a purchase although I required more information. It was evident no one was getting back to me. So, I placed my order. I waited and waited and waited. Finally, the confirmation email comes through…only to tell me that my order has been cancelled and to call the store to find out why. So, I immediately call. Low and behold, of course I get automated robot-like assistance, informing me that I must wear a mask to comply with Covid constrictions. I guess they never bothered to update their answering service. When I press the “number” to be transferred, I am sent to a mobile voicemail. I left a message, submitted another form online and then sent an email from my personal email (replying to their message about calling the store). The end result…absolutely NOTHING. No contact, no answers, no product, and no regard for a patients well-being as far as I’m concerned. We had three neighbors other than myself, all ready to take a trip to the Botanist. Well, let’s just say we made it to the Sunnyside destination…and we will NEVER attempt to deal with The Botanist again. In fact, one of the neighbors was a weekly customer! He won’t be back…so although you may not care (obviously), you have lost 3 potential customers (along with the few that believe a mask is STILL required to enter your establishment). There are MUCH better options out there…please take it from an experienced user and buyer for over 30 years.

The selection is really small. Sativas and Hybrids outnumber the Indicas by far. Most of the strains labeled Indica are hybrids made by Curaleaf or Botanist and actually feel like Sativas. And most of the strains, even Indicas make me really paranoid because of this. I get really paranoid with Hybrids and Sativas so I can only do pure Indicas, but Botanist doesn’t have many options, even their Indica strains are paranoia inducing for a lot of people because they contain a big percentage of Sativa. So I can’t purchase anything. The better Indicas they do have are only vapes. I really wish they’d carry pure Indica flowers. Things like pure Indica like Hash Plant, Afghani, Northern Lights, would be great. Other than that, I had a good experience last time. I wish I could return.

There was a time when you would walk in the a nice selection, pleasant staff, enjoyable conversation, even decent deals and prices. Clearly those days are gone, unfortunately those of us who actually need to use Medical Marijuana and have to come here would appreciate not being treated with disrespect when we come to pick up our medicine. Total disrespect from current employees because the system can”t seem to hold a customers information with regard to what discounts or general information. Instead you get treated like you are bothering the botanist employees by picking up your medication and expecting to be charged the correct amount. Not to mention I personally had to stop getting my most effective medication because each time I got it it would be filled to different amounts each time (never full). God forbid you speak up on the subject, you get told “Unless you ordered on line there’s no way to rate the product and warn others of a potential scam. The sad part is even though there will be other dispensaries o am stuck here unless I want to be charged more for the same product. Customer service goes a long way, treating your customers with respect goes even further. Much poorer quality service lately. Poor product quality, just ahat I wanted from my pharmacy.

Possibly change your deals, they aren't very enticing and the variety of products is extremely limited. Hasn't had flower in stock in like 4 days, will only use them in a pinch or never again.

I’ve been coming here for two years. I’m not going to use them going forward. I was amassing “points” to get a nice discount right before the end of the year. Not so fast! The points are NOT applicable as you might get on other platforms. I wanted an item on sale for 50. I couldn’t use my 40 dollars worth of points. They don’t tell you anything about needing to buy two items to receive the 40 dollar credit. Ok, bad enough… one item is able to be purchased with the first 25 bucks. Ok, bad again. The item is on advertised sale from 65 down to 50. Looking me right in the eye the clerk tells me I’m getting a whopping five dollars off! They want to use the full price even though it’s on sale… I just left. I don’t think I want to be jerked around anymore. I’m sure this happens, but I’m using points everywhere else without trap doors for the vendors to escape through.

1st NY Medical dispensary visit. Very friendly staff, but not the most knowledgeable. No concentrates for proper dabbing. Pricing and effectiveness of 9.5mg gummies good. These 9.5s are better than the alleged local 100+mg liars. You know what I mean. I did not try the flower, but $50 for an eighth is a bit much. As for local dispensaries, this is the one for me, but until the prices on flower is better or they get good concentrates I'll stick with their gummies. Oh, and I am trying their RSO capsules.

Today was my first day going to The Botanist, and I'm so sad I've waited this long. Other dispensaries on 110 make you feel like a criminal when you walk in. Not at The Botanist. I was welcomed by a great staff that had personality and took the time to talk to me and recommend certain products. At the other dispensary on 110, you have to wait sometimes over an hour for your products, but not at The Botanist. No wait times, and I walked out with my products! I have been coming to The Botanist since it opened. I have been to 3 other dispensaries since Medical became available in NY.I find most of the selections to be quite similar from one to another. I also know the amount of time is involved in the purchase process.It’s a lot of state government rules that they must follow as a regular pharmacy but they aren’t pills in a bottle and mistakes might jeopardize their business.That being said I have found that they have the best staff I have ever dealt with. They pay attention to your problems and questions with great patience. They don’t rush you while you are being attended to but they go non- stop to provide the fastest possible process for all of their patients.You can tell how a business is run by the interactions with management and they will try to help you in any way they have done a great job operating the business but most impressive is that they have been fortunate to hire some really special people who always make you feel comfortable. I can tell you that if everyone sells similar items for about the same cost then there are only two real reasons to shop is location and they are located along the Nassau-Suffolk border close to the college on Rte 110.They offer assistance with your medical card renewal. I would like to leave a review for the Botanist in Farmingdale. I met a true angel that day by the name of John Burns ( the dispensary pharmacist. ). I would also like to add that everyone we dealt with there was sweet and kind- I just don’t know all of their names. My mother has been in severe pain for the past 2+ years and has been from doctor to doctor and ER visit to ER visit. I am trying to help her and trying to figure out what to do with her severe pain. She’s almost 80 years old and has some severe G.I. issues that cause her almost constant pain and inability to pass stool and she has severe gas and intestinal issues almost on a daily basis. She is at her wits end and is down to about 80 pounds. I don’t know how much longer she can survive like this. We have been to multiple doctors and we have been to some of the best including York City Mount Sinai and multiple doctors on Long Island. Nothing seems to help. I am her daughter so out of desperation I took time off work and came down to Long Island to help her (I live about eight hours away in upstate NY). I had read that marijuana might be helpful for her condition to at least to help her deal with the pain. None of us were expecting a miracle cure. We went to the Botanist and met with John. He spent over an hour with us and couldn’t have been kinder and more helpful. John was super realistic about everything and told us that it was not a miracle cure but did advise us on how to use the products and help with her pain. He also gave us advice on other things she should try such as drinking more water etc. This man was truly a saint was was as kind as could be and spent a tremendous amount of time with us (well over an hour) even though they were super busy. I believe this helped my mom last night from ending up in the emergency room once again. I was able to give her the medication and it definitely helped her and prevented another useless ER visit. I can not say enough kind things about John and the entire staff at the Botanist. They are truly professional and kind people. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. This place exceeded any expectations I could have ever had. Thank you so much- I highly recommend this place for all they do to help people.❤️

Been going to The botonist exclusively for almost a year now and here are my thoughts:- Farmingdale Location is easy to get to and has sufficient parking. The inside is as tranquil and modern looking as you can get.- The team is not only extremely friendly, but well-educated on the product line they have, leaving no questions about what you're leaving the store with.- The current Covid situation caused, like all places, to tune their practices to enforce social distancing. I personally feel this team has done a great job, but would like to see a better system for knowing the current capacity of customers inside before trying to get in (can be confusing).- Pricing: This one is entirely subjective, but people have to understand the local supply and current NY laws cause the current prices compared to their street counterparts. Although it can be a bit pricey currently, there's no doubt that it will start to drop as laws are reformed to make it easier for dispensaries to increase their local manufacturing. Boost: The Botonist has their own line of carts, Boost. These are astronomically better than the original exclusive pharmacann carts, in terms of quality of cart and oil within them. I like the pharmacann 20:1's a lot, but they can clog pretty easily due to the construction of the carts. I still recommend trying all of them to see what best fits your needs.If you are looking for a dispensary that offers the best experience, customer service, and quality of product, look no further than The Botonist.

The attention and care that you receive from each of the employees here is really note worthy. I have been to other cannabis distributors. The Botanist stands out above them all, BY FAR. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. I can't speak personally for the product as I am not the individual who needs the medications. All i can do is relay to you that they have expressed great satisfaction with the variety and efficacy of the various cannabis products available. What i CAN speak from personal experience on is the staff, building, management, and overall vibe of the place and that i recommend The Botanist.

I drive 45 minutes to patronize your Farmingdale location. I won't be again. I ordered online for pickup with a 10% discount that your dispensary didn't honor. Signs outside state 4 person maximum in the lobby. When I was let into the lobby there were already 4 people there. Making me 5. The cashier area has a glass window with a delivery slot but he came into the lobby to give me my bag of medicine. I noticed that all of the workers inside including the manager were not wearing masks. If your front line workers don't respect your customers enough to wear PPE and protect them, I cannot shop at your dispensaries any longer.

Dropped in last Saturday with my wife for help with pain and inflammation from multiply cancer surgeries and radiation. Met Mike and John the pharmacist and we were very impressed with the care and assistance they offered her. Definitely would recommend. I was treated so well here, I felt like a queen. I was warmly welcomed at the front desk, seated in a comfortable chair and given a cold bottle of water. Even though I left my prescription at home, I was assured there was no problem as long as I was getting a refill of my previous prescription-- which I was! It took less than 15 minutes for the script to be filled and I was on my way. I even got 10% off because I had Medicare. Bonus! You can't use credit cards, cash only, but I remembered from last time, so I came prepared. Nice people, great experience!

Beautiful place. BUT what I was charged is not what other people I have known to go there have gotten charged. First time customer I see they give a discount, I didn’t get one. I paid full price which is fine expect for the fact that other people have paid less for the same product. All the product at all of these places are the same, I’ll stick to curaleaf.
