Shout out to Erin! She always takes care of me when I come in and really helps you choose the right strain for you when you're indecisive. Always a joy seeing her face! The deals here are great and the staff is too!Update: I will say though, not a fan of management. I came in the other day and there was ONE budtender working the floor, another working the front desk. After there was a line of 10 people the manager showed up to help. She called me over and I plainly pointed out that they were short staffed and asked if they were hiring as I have worked at multiple dispensaries. She brushed me off and said they just hired 3 new people. I put in 2 applications (one in person, one online) a month or two ago and never heard back as to a yes or no. Just nothing. A little common courtesy goes a long way when its your customers offering to help staff your understaffed store and are STILL coming in to purchase. Really put a bad taste in my mouth as I know the previous store manager of Ascend and SHE was the one who told me to apply.

just got back from Ascend, haven't been for a while. This is as of Nov 30 2025.Dear Ascend,How do I hate thee? Let me count the ways.1) Your website doesn't work. Nobody seems to know how to fix it. Every time I mention it at the store, I just get this answer, "It hasn't worked for a while."2) No seating. For someone with a bad back & unable to stand long periods of time, it's not enjoyable shopping here. They used to have some seats along the outside walls, but they have now been removed.3) I signed up a few months ago to use my debit card. I was told it was the same as cash & no fee would be charged. They are now charging $3 for debit transactions. Mind you. That's DEBIT card, not credit card.4) Gaslighting. I've had this one clerk twice now. First time, I asked about getting a battery for my vape. She said they don't have them. I said I've always been able to get them here. She finally went in the back & asked someone. Yep! They still have them. As I mentioned above, today I noticed they now charge for debit card transactions. When I mentioned it to the clerk, she said, "It's always been that way." I replied, "No it has not. When I signed up, I was told it's same as cash, no fees." Then she said, "Oh, that was ..." & mentioned a different program name.The two stars are for how friendly & helpful the employes are. I run out here when I don't want to drive all the way to Sauget from my home in Belleville. I'll have to plan my shopping trips better so I can always shop at Beyond Hello.

Honestly this is the only dispensary that I will ever go to for the best prices and always having deals/sales available. Everyone is so prompt and quick. The kindness is what I typically go there for because everyone is always smiling and it's a genuine smile and it's not something that they're forcing. I like a good genuine location with good people and this is where you have to go to get it! Not to mention loving the point reward system to make us keep coming back. Love it! Good weed. Good people. I've been here many times since they opened and I've never had any issues. The staff is friendly. It's safer than some other area dispensaries. They usually have a lot of cashier's so I've never waited more than 10 minutes for my product. Their prices are higher than STL though. That's mostly because of, ya know...illinois taxes.

I changed my review from a 5 to a 1. Not because of the service or the product. Because of a stupid company policy. I am a senior citizen. I appreciate places who like the older population shopping at their establishment. The last two times in I bought product that was on sale. I reminded them to not forget my senior discount. I have always received it in the past regardless if product was on sale or not. Now they tell me they can't stack discounts. I don't think a senior discount should be included in "stacking" discounts. I have receipts from in the past that I got both the sale price along with my senior discount. Just curious why.

I love coming here.. if there was a lounge with dogs I’d be here on my days off. Everyone is so lovely and nice and if I had everyone’s name i would comment their names on here. They always keep up with me and my wife’s life and always asking about us or our dogs. J’nae is super lovely and every time I walk in initially, seeing her in the front makes me so happy cause she always sets such an amazing tone for the rest of the experience during checkout and buying. I had a beautiful experience in Ascend today. I have a broken leg and am using a walker for mobility. Seeing my struggle, the security guard stepped right up to assist me by getting me a wheelchair and going to my car a getting my ID! After that, I was personally escorted to the register where I was promptly checked out, then escorted by multiple employees to not just the exit door, my car door!! Kudos to Ascend for stellar service!!

Outside of the person checking ID’s at the front desk, customer service was at an all time low today. There were less than a handful of customers and yet you’ll get pointed in the direction of something versus them helping you find what you’re asking for. While being checked out, the person just whistled in our face the entire interaction. It was so off putting I forgot to use the $10 in rewards I had, and they didn’t bother asking if I was a rewards member or had points to use. You’re just a number here versus being a customer; much different vibe and experience than going to the Collinsville dispensary.

Came in today and they had 3 people working at counter but well over 50 people inline. Plus if you have a disability forget about assistance anymore. Now I see why people are going over to Missouri. They have faster more friend service and alot more reasonable prices. Update 5/12/2024. This is no longer a Vet friendly place so be advised the only time you will receive a discount now is on items of higher cost. If it already has a discount you will no long get a Vet discount. The price here are already high, save you money and go across the river it is way cheaper and they have a better variety.

And I've asked for help in the chat on the website a few times as well with no response with my initial message being 30 min ago and still no answer/ response to help resolve my issue. I really do like this place a lot. But the issue I experienced today is very major. And the lack of anyone getting back with me despite multiple attempts makes me feel as if this will ever be resolved. And scares me from this location/company altogether

Summary: If you're looking for a cheaper option but still want great quality, go with High Supply brand shake!I have been buying from Ascend since they opened their doors and we had to park at Gateway Fun Park to be bused over. The staff is always friendly, willing to help out, and relatively quick getting people in and out. The reason I'm giving 4 stars is due to quality of one of their in-house products. My go to purchase is 7g's of High Supply shake. Their product is AWESOME!! Always tastes great, not too dry, I rarely find stems, and the high is pleasant. However, I have purchased 7g of Ozone shake a couple of times now and have always been disappointed. Always bone dry, has a terrible taste, and there's no shortage of stems. In turn, it is causing me to have headaches after smoking and is unpleasant from the moment the smoke hits my lips. I get as high as you get from smoking a cigarette with Ozone shake. It tastes exactly like when I tried a rookie growers first attempt at growing with no guidance. Unfortunately, I can't take back the low quality product so I'm just out ~$60. I could go to a random guy on the street and get better quality than this every time. Very disappointing that I keep fooling myself into give them another try...go with HIGH SUPPLY!!

My first visit was such a great experience. The vibe was so nice and calming. My budtender Kate was so knowledgeable and treated me like we'd been friends for years. She helped me find exactly what I was looking for. I'd recommend your store for anyone from a first timer to an old hippie like me. And more props to Kate, she's a definite asset to your business.

This place is so awesome! Really friendly and knowledgeable staff who will explain the many merchandise options to you so you will get what you want. It’s clean, well designed, and the ordering and checkout system is high tech and efficient. I’ve been twice and will definitely be back!!
