When you’re in beautiful Victoria, BC and you’re looking for some premium craft cannabis to heighten your day, look no further than Original FARM. When you enter one of their 4 locations on the island you might see the words “Bc’s largest selection of Cannabis” on one of the many screens throughout. With all due respect I disagree with this statement. It should read “Canada’s largest selection of Cannabis”. What dispensary have you ever walked into, asked about Sativa pre-rolls and were shown a screen with over 65 different strains of only sativa dominant pre-rolls to peruse through. Needless to say their selection of flower is also never ending. Simply put they have the best selection of any dispensary in Canada. I’ve been to all the major cities in Canada. I’ve hunted down all the best products from the top cultivators. To be blunt(ed) no one even comes close. At FARM most of the staff are very knowledgeable on the products they push. The last time I was in I had the pleasure of being served by HM. She gave me some great recommendations based on the products that I was into. A true budtender! All cannabis enthusiasts will enjoy this place, but the connoisseurs, well they might even green out over this joint! My only wish is that I could find this type of selection back home!

I went into their hillside location on Dec 7 last year . Well my debit card wouldn’t work and kept coming back nsf.I know I had 70$ in that account .i went outside to my vehicle and looked it up on my td app wellit said it had been takin out .The girl refused to give me my product. I proceeded to drive to the bank right away and get a printed statement showing the money takin out and she still refused my product .Your IT guys couldn’t find my money .2 months later the bank checked and told me the funds came out on the 24th weird yes but on a holiday long weekend banking is funky . I called you and explained what had happened and she still said no .Now I worked the day before Xmas 7-7 so I didn’t do any purchases that day . I feel like they robbed me legally. I am not a deadbeat person and had been purchasing from them since they opened . They need to fix this before more people get screwed .

I was in the other day and noticed the pride flags were gone. I asked my bud tender what happened and they said they had to take them down because of bigoted complaints.I think it was very wrong of you to remove them in light of this. Removing your flags is letting hatred win, and performative allyship is extremely disappointing; you should be ashamed. Second time I’ve had a worker seem so inebriated they cannot function.Previously told I could return something , when I could not. One worker said I could see if some glass fit, and could return it with my receipt. Turns out, that’s not store policy.Today this worker seemed so intoxicated they couldn’t stop rambling and was holding up the line. I was watching other customers come and go while trying to be polite and wait for this worker to find what I was looking for.Eventually I just asked for a recommendation and left, as it took way too long in there. I even checked the site to see what products were in stock, and none of my picks were found by the worker. What’s the point of the site, or is it another worker error?

Always a great selection on almost everything cannabis related. Highly recommended and you know I'm definitely coming back. I’ve been a customer for over 6 years and while it does tend to be a little more expensive I didn’t mind given that the store is beautiful and I haven’t had any issues over the years. Recently I went in because I had an issue with a brand new tank that was already clogged and I needed to exchange. After an employee pre-heated it multiple times and had me do multiple attempts to force it I was able to get a small draw which apparently means it can not be returned. It was a brand new cartridge within the return window that I can’t use with the $30 battery I had purchased from them the week prior. The associate even told me I would need to purchase a new battery with a button to make it work which is ridiculous considering it was a brand new cartridge. All I wanted was an exchange for one from the same brand that would work.

It would be nicer to display more info (strain experience/taste/etc.) on monitors for better basic understandings (for both customers + staff).

Long time customer from the beginning here. Always nice to see the store looking nice, but getting frustrated how expensive they are. I've been pleasantly surprised by the nearby newly opened stores, like Pacificanna, that carry everything Farm has, but at a way cheaper price. I've come to realize Farm actually has the most expensive prices in town sadly. Unless they start lowering their costs, I'll be shopping elsewhere, thanks.

I just love going to The Farm! The very first thing that I enjoy is the ample parking and it'sso easy to get in and out of there! Then, once inside, they have these really cool touch screens built into the countertops, smart-tables? These screens display all of their products and prices in an easy to view grid. The product amounts are listed as eighths, quarters and ounces, which kinda hurts my brain. The prices are in Canadian and the tax is not included in the price so get ready to do some mental math gymnastics. Customers are not allowed to touch the screen. The staff is very friendly and helpful, although, no one has flirted with me yet. This location also has walls and a roof with alll the lights on inside. I'm not sure if the other locations have roofs or walls so I'll keep visiting the Hillside location.

Amazing service during the pandemic, the click and collect option is elegant and easy to use, and the counter service staff is friendly and knowledgeable. No, nobody paid me to write this, as far as dispensaries go this is as good as it gets IMHO. Sure, having an even greater selection would always be better, but they have good selection and stock for everyone's needs.I wish the packaging of the products would be a bit more sensible and mindful of the environment, but that's not on the dispensary. Government guidelines I guess. Getting a large plastic container for a gram of bud just seems like such a waste. But again, not the fault of the Farm (I think, correct me if I'm wrong).

They have large screens at the check-outs where you can see all of the types of cannabis they have and they can sort it by what you'd like (sativa, indica, hybrid) so it is easy to find what is right for you. Went in yesterday to get some CBD for my dog. Well the lady at the front desk had to be one of the rudest people I have ever encountered. She was very short when me and my friend asked questions. When we asked here if there were any websites about animals and CBD she responded try "google". I realize that being provincially licensed means they have strict policies, but what ever happened to customer service. I felt like I was being an inconvenience to her. Never had a problem before. Long story short - there was no cannabis inside packaging. I bought 3.5 g of Xscape Tailgate yesterday at 5:30 pm. There was a seal and everything on the packaging. I opened it up once I got home and there was nothing inside. Literally no cannabis. I spent $35.00 for nothing at all. I couldn’t believe it. I called Farmacy and nobody answered so I left a voicemail. I don’t blame them for not giving me a refund or a replacement because how are they supposed to know I’m not lying? I will never get what I paid for and it sucks but I’m writing this review for everyone going there. OPEN THE PACKAGING AND MAKE SURE YOUR CANNABIS IS INSIDE BEFORE LEAVING. Do it right in front of the cashier, because how else are they supposed to know you aren’t lying? I also wonder if this has happened to anyone else. Please let everyone know if it has and don’t be afraid to speak up! This is not okay. I won’t be going to this store anymore. Cloud9 is way better anyway.

Just picked up 3 different strains from the original farm by hillside. I am super disappointed in all of the products, they are extremely dried out, harsh on your throat, taste and smell stale. The bud just crumbles into dust in your hand. I looked at the packaging for a date and these products were all packaged a year ago. Needless to say I will not be coming back.

The strains should be itemized here so the csr can tell you what strains are powerful and what is not. I've been smoking for almost 40 years and weak buds don't work for me (I have ms). I spend so much time trying to determine what strains might work for me and I end up leaving wondering if it will be strong enough and I can only sort that out when I get home and have a puff. Aside from that, their staff (at both locations) are over the top friendly and the locations are neat and tidy. They have good strains but it is tough to determine which ones they are. Their prices are ridiculous but I've seen that at MOST dispensaries out here. I will go back just not as often due to the prices. Considering the mark up on the weed, all the dispensaries could lower their prices and still make money. But the only way that's going to happen is if everyone let's them know how they feel. I grew pot for a long time and when I did I calculated that each ounce of weed I grew cost me about 30 bucks to produce. These growers they are using are likely growing it even cheaper because they're taking advantage of economies of scale. Just my two cents worth.

Well my debit card wouldn’t work and kept coming back nsf.I know I had 70$ in that account .i went outside to my vehicle and looked it up on my td app wellit said it had been takin out .The girl refused to give me my product. I proceeded to drive to the bank right away and get a printed statement showing the money takin out and she still refused my product .Your IT guys couldn’t find my money .2 months later the bank checked and told me the funds came out on the 24th weird yes but on a holiday long weekend banking is funky . I called you and explained what had happened and she still said no .Now I worked the day before Xmas 7-7 so I didn’t do any purchases that day . I feel like they robbed me legally. I am not a deadbeat person and had been purchasing from them since they opened . They need to fix this before more people get screwed .

Second time I’ve had a worker seem so inebriated they cannot function.Previously told I could return something , when I could not. One worker said I could see if some glass fit, and could return it with my receipt. Turns out, that’s not store policy.Today this worker seemed so intoxicated they couldn’t stop rambling and was holding up the line. I’ve been a customer for over 6 years and while it does tend to be a little more expensive I didn’t mind given that the store is beautiful and I haven’t had any issues over the years. Recently I went in because I had an issue with a brand new tank that was already clogged and I needed to exchange. After an employee pre-heated it multiple times and had me do multiple attempts to force it I was able to get a small draw which apparently means it can not be returned. It was a brand new cartridge within the return window that I can’t use with the $30 battery I had purchased from them the week prior. The associate even told me I would need to purchase a new battery with a button to make it work which is ridiculous considering it was a brand new cartridge. All I wanted was an exchange for one from the same brand that would work.

I just love going to The Farm! The very first thing that I enjoy is the ample parking and it'sso easy to get in and out of there! Then, once inside, they have these really cool touch screens built into the countertops, smart-tables? These screens display all of their products and prices in an easy to view grid. The product amounts are listed as eighths, quarters and ounces, which kinda hurts my brain. The prices are in Canadian and the tax is not included in the price so get ready to do some mental math gymnastics. Customers are not allowed to touch the screen. The staff is very friendly and helpful, although, no one has flirted with me yet. This location also has walls and a roof with alll the lights on inside. I'm not sure if the other locations have roofs or walls so I'll keep visiting the Hillside location.

No, nobody paid me to write this, as far as dispensaries go this is as good as it gets IMHO. Sure, having an even greater selection would always be better, but they have good selection and stock for everyone's needs.I wish the packaging of the products would be a bit more sensible and mindful of the environment, but that's not on the dispensary. Government guidelines I guess. Getting a large plastic container for a gram of bud just seems like such a waste. But again, not the fault of the Farm (I think, correct me if I'm wrong).

Went in yesterday to get some CBD for my dog. Well the lady at the front desk had to be one of the rudest people I have ever encountered. She was very short when me and my friend asked questions. When we asked here if there were any websites about animals and CBD she responded try "google". Long story short - there was no cannabis inside packaging. I bought 3.5 g of Xscape Tailgate yesterday at 5:30 pm. There was a seal and everything on the packaging. I opened it up once I got home and there was nothing inside. Literally no cannabis. I spent $35.00 for nothing at all. I couldn’t believe it. I called Farmacy and nobody answered so I left a voicemail. I don’t blame them for not giving me a refund or a replacement because how are they supposed to know I’m not lying? I will never get what I paid for and it sucks but I’m writing this review for everyone going there. OPEN THE PACKAGING AND MAKE SURE YOUR CANNABIS IS INSIDE BEFORE LEAVING. Do it right in front of the cashier, because how else are they supposed to know you aren’t lying? I also wonder if this has happened to anyone else. Please let everyone know if it has and don’t be afraid to speak up! This is not okay. I won’t be going to this store anymore. Cloud9 is way better anyway.

The strains should be itemized here so the csr can tell you what strains are powerful and what is not. I've been smoking for almost 40 years and weak buds don't work for me (I have ms). I spend so much time trying to determine what strains might work for me and I end up leaving wondering if it will be strong enough and I can only sort that out when I get home and have a puff. Aside from that, their staff (at both locations) are over the top friendly and the locations are neat and tidy. They have good strains but it is tough to determine which ones they are. Their prices are ridiculous but I've seen that at MOST dispensaries out here. I will go back just not as often due to the prices. Considering the mark up on the weed, all the dispensaries could lower their prices and still make money. But the only way that's going to happen is if everyone let's them know how they feel. I grew pot for a long time and when I did I calculated that each ounce of weed I grew cost me about 30 bucks to produce. These growers they are using are likely growing it even cheaper because they're taking advantage of economies of scale. Just my two cents worth.
