Honestly highly disappointed, I’ve now been here twice and I WONT be returning. The first time I can I purchased two AIO and NEITHER of them worked I called and they said no returns or refunds so that was an instant waste of money. Then tonight I placed an online order for a completely different brand of AIO and online it said it was gonna be about $13 sounded good to me, I go in and discover they don’t take card so I have to pull cash out and get charged a $4 convience fee for it. Then the person helping me says it’ll be $18 so now I’ve paid $22 for this AIO. I THOUGHT I might have mis read the price which is the reason I just pain the man, go out to my car and discover I didn’t misread so I went back in to ask how it went from $13 to $18 and he tells me they have a 30%(!!!!!!) tax rate, that’s absolutely insanity. Especially being for a AIO I got a week ago in Antioch at $2 a piece!!!!

Sarabeth was amazing. She helped us with info about products for dealing with cancer, tumors, and anxiety for a family member. She was knowledgeable, helpful, friendly, funny, and listened to us as we vented for a minute (not technically her job, so don't take advantage, but as a past budtender I know that the job can be kind of like a bartender/untrained therapist gig). She talked about different products without pushing anything, but allowed us to inquire more about what she mentioned as it came naturally and pointing it out when asked. This has been the vibe for every person who's helped us at Herbology, but Sarabeth was the one who happened to help us when we needed more than just our usual stuff, so shout out to her!

I actually always come here because they're generally really friendly. Well I'm never going back there again.I was asking a cashier to help me purchase a drinkable item and I wanted to know the prices and also the sugar content.She refused to help me, like expected me to know exactly what I wanted. like it was too much work for her and she couldn't be bothered to help and show me a few drinks that are for sale.THEN she handed me back my cash all coyly like almost expecting to get tipped. I was like BYE! Maybe if they did their job as salesperson. I even asked someone else to help me since she wouldn't but that girl also coldly ignored me!This was Dec 6

This is far and away the best shop in town. The good products are always in stock, prices are fair with deals to be had every now and then. The store is always clean and organized. Even when its hella busy the vibe is cool and friendly.The highlight though is the staff. You couldnt ask for a nicer, more knowledgable group of people. Im serious, these guys and girls are always cheerful and cant wait to help you. Again, the entire staff is 10/10.If you have any questions id come here, they treat everyone from first timers to veterans the same and they will make sure you walkout with what fits you, and with a smile.

Tip: Check the "Package by" date before making your purchase. Make sure you're not getting old stuff. My purchase was packaged in February, we're in the month of October. I got old inventory! Booooo!!

I witnessed the manager and bud tender disrespect my girlfriend and call her rude after she had just been diagnosed with cancer. They showed no empathy, or kindness and my girlfriend spends 40-60 dollars a day. The way they treated her was so wrong. Then banned her from the store because my girlfriend gave a bad review about the way she was treated.

Smaller dispo living in the remnants of good ol Bonanza Comics. It's like the kids that grew up seeing that comic book store close down and become a dispo so you can still shop there lmao. To me I think this place is far too pricey for my tastes, the ATM surcharge is $4 which is crazy so if you come in you better already have cash on you.

I had a great experience I came in on Friday August 23 2024 and was super scared because I usually order online at the cookies store in Modesto but unfortunately the store is temporarily closed so I had to resort to going to the store and shopping. I was instantly met with kindness and excitement from the manager but not just the manager the other employee working that morning . It was so nice I wasn’t worried at all and had a great conversation and time in the store ! I will definitely be coming back! And those rewards tho!!!💪amazing rewards program!

Sara was super patient with me, I had a lot of questions to make sure I pick up the right product. She also had recommendations for me after listening to what I had said. This place was awesome about a year ago. The last few months they've seemed to gone cheap. Same staff, which are very nice but quality of product has gone way down. Real "Five Star Burger" (Typical Modesto Small Business) type of establishment, we are use to liking too quickly.
