I love the staff here at the state college AYR. Always friendly and just down to earth. On My last visit however, there was. 1 other patient in the store. And we both waited over 15 minutes to get served. The security guard actually had to get the manager to ring us out.She was kinda short with me and wasn’t friendly at all
Only went here because it was the only place in town that had what I needed. The man who took me back was rude and didn’t speak a word to me except when he told me very rudely I can’t even look at my phone. Lmao I worked at 3 other dispos in the area and never have I once heard of that rule. Took me at least 20 minutes to get my one item with only 2 people in front of me. Reminds me why I never go here HAHA
Always a pleasure to stop in. Selection is always great, employees are super friendly, welcoming and helpful if needed. Probably the most chill experience I've had with any dispensary in the area, I highly recommend it. Pun intended!
This was my first time here as a patient with my mom who’s also a patient (who referred me) and while most of the staff was friendly and were a great help the receptionist on duty today I think his name was Colton, was absolutely awful. My mom was doing curbside but called in to tell them she was there while I went in to see the dispensary, we were both trying to use the promotional $10 off we had from the app but it wasn’t showing up on the system in the dispensary. I tried to tell the receptionist that we could see the points on the app on our phones and asked if he wanted me to show him or call my mom in so she could show him hers but he was incredibly rude and argumentative and flat out refused to listen or even look at what I was trying to show him (he was also complaining to someone else about my mom while I was sitting right there before he found out she was my mom!) He told me neither of us had points to use and even if we did have anything it would have only worked if we spent $100 which the app doesn't say at all. I tried showing him again but he wouldn’t even look in my direction and just kept repeating that we didn’t have points and that he wasn’t going to talk to me about my mom and just kinda ignored me and started talking over me to a different employee (he also refused to call her back or ask her come in to show her promotional points on the app, I asked him at least 3 times if he wanted me to get her to come in but he just kept talking over me to someone else) Another employee came out to get me and got a manager both of whom were so much nicer and easier to talk to and finally took a look at what I was trying to show him (which he seemed to take personally and got upset about for some reason, he just really seemed like he had to be right and didn’t want to help us at all) they both saw that we both did in fact have points to use but since it was a promotion it didn’t show up on their system and was only visible on the app like I was trying to tell him before he kept cutting me off and ignoring me. We were both able to use our $10 off in the end but as someone who uses mmj to help with anxiety and other mental health issues that make it hard for me to interact with people this was probably one of THE WORST customer experiences I’ve had. Again tho the rest of the staff were very nice and welcoming and were willing to listen and help us out and I feel bad leaving a bad review but I more than likely won’t be back as long as someone like Colton who made it seem like I was bothering him the entire time I was there when I was just trying to get my medication is the first face I see walking inUpdate ***I ended up calling and spoke to a manager who was very understanding and addressed the situation right away!
I have interacted with Melanie, Bernd, and Vinnie. Melanie was amazing and is so sweet and charming; she is always so friendly and greeted the guests with her charismatic charm. Bernd is knowledgeable, witty, and always helpful. Vinnie is amazing, he is like a walking encyclopedia of helpful knowledge...he always answers all my questions and I got a LOT of questions.
The entire staff was absolutely excellent! Nothing but good vibes and lots of useful information and recommendations. Rosie, Ron, Joe and everyone else there made it such a great experience. I'll definitely be back.
Why are you trying to sell me more than I need? The pharmacy doesn't sell me extra crap when I get my prescription. This is still MEDICAL marijuana right? Aren't I going to hit my 90 supply limit faster if you upsell me? That sounds illegal!
Rosie and Phoebe were so extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Rosie really understood what I was looking for with my pain and my anxiety and my brain shutting up and could relate to it and really gave some good recommendations and some literature to make sure I understand what I’m doing for myself. Excellent experience live kind of far away, but will come back to this experience again.
Had a nice quick visit! Got a new cart to try(nervous it was flavored) but my budtender was quick to inform me that it’s one of her favorites and that Revel was an excellent brand choice! I can’t remember the name of my budtender unfortunately 🙁 she had long brown hair and a beautiful long skirt on! Hopefully she gets some credit 🙂
Great staff. Very attentive and friendly. Answer all questions eagerly and easy to understand. Suggest products to help with your issues.
Cheyenne was very energetic and upbeat when speaking at the cash register. She assisted me very promptly and was truly wonderful to interact with. Thank you
Rosie was amazing! She helped check me out and made a product recommendation. When I was a little short on the cash she helped me out too so I wouldn’t have to use the ATM and get surcharged. Overall great experience, people, and products!
Cheyenne is a great budtender! She's very helpful and professional. She has no problem helping her clients find what we need. Thanks
Rosie is absolutely the best hire that establishment has done, friendly and attentive a true pleasure to deal with. She will be a main reason for repeat business.
I’m obsessed with their rewards program! Way better than other competitors. Your money actually matters and it shows by the rewards they provide. Give them a chance!! Trust me, will be worth it!
I'm one of the few people who actually use medical marijuana for medical purposes. I have hyperacusis, which is a hypersensitivity to sound. There is an ebb and flow to it and when it gets very bad, pot helps.I usually go to a different dispensary, but it was Sunday and Ayr was the only one open, so I ordered in advance hoping to make it as quick a transaction as possible. The woman checking me in was the worst possible scenario for me. She literally screamed everything said. I thought it was because she was behind glass, so I told her that I could hear her just fine and she didn't need to yell. It made no difference. She continued to yell every word.I don't mean it just "seemed" loud because of the hyperacusis. I mean she was objectively shrill. I was the only person there and I was standing right in front of her, but she was using the voice you would use if you were talking to someone across the street. It was jarring, painful, nerve jangling. When she let me in back, I thought she would temper her voice because their was no longer glass between us, but she didn't. She yelled the instructions about where to wait and where I could use a cell phone and blah blah blah. Finally I just asked for my card back and left before ever getting served. I couldn't take another second. I'm sure I seemed rude, but when someone is aurally that aggressive I can't think, I panic, I just want to get as far away as possible as fast as possible.Long story short, I went in there to get pot to help with a sensitivity to sound. I left in far worse condition than I went in and I never got the pot.I wouldn't go back there again if the pot was free.
