Generally I have a great experience here so it bums me to write this today but I just had a very disappointing experience with Capital Care. A cartridge I purchased on Friday would not pull and resin would leak out of the top. Because they are closed on Sundays I had to wait until Monday to come by and see if they could refund or exchange the malfunctioning cartridge, however I was told by the associate that there was nothing she could do. “Once it’s been dispensed there’s no recourse.” I was taken aback because I’ve always been given exemplary service here and expected a solution since the cartridge was faulty. If you’re looking for flower I would still come here, especially because the guys behind the counter are great but if you’re looking for cartridges I would check out one of the other dispensaries in the area.

I’ve been living in Arlington for about a year and a half. I’ve been a Pennsylvania medical marijuana card holder for years. I’ve tried several DC dispensaries and have been wildly disappointed. I once had to meet a guy on a street corner, another time the place had a very limited selection, and at others they seem to be targeting either kids who people who just want to get as stoned as possible.Capital City Care is different and a first-rate facility with friendly and knowledgeable staff. It will be my exclusive spot to purchase from here forward. It’s worth the trip.

I liked the atmosphere and store front.To play it safe on costs vs quality I bought two pre roll 3 packs for 25 each; El Chivo and cherry diesel. No lie, The el Chivo was the weakest cannabis I’ve smoked In a long long long time and the cherry diesel didn’t hit much better. So I smoked 2 joints and was still less than halfway to where ya should be off a bong rip or two. I can’t speak for all their strains but I feel like i wasted my money big time.

They have little knowledge, and also false knowledge, and worse yet they don't seek information, while remaining pretentious. The people who think this is a good store must know nothing about the product. They push distillates, which lack medical value, and don't have the full feel (higher THC doesn't mean more strength people). The seed to strain carts are disappointingly low on terpenes given the cannabinoids level. The classix are nice, but amount is questionable. They have a lot of products, and you can certainly find good ones, but you're not going to find help here, just very young people with an attitude they don't deserve to have.

He was kind, easy to talk to and informative about the strains and their effects, I ended up getting Panama red, Bruce banner and Hokkaido flower and as Andrew predicted I love the Hokkaido strain the most!! Their flower is not just beautiful, it smokes smooth too and is potent! You’ll get quality medicinal Flower here! I’ll definitely be making a trip back down sometime!Thank you Andrew!:)

Cap city is my go to, I’m a regular and I love the wide range in products. The employees are super friendly and knowledgeable about their flower so I enjoy my drop ins multiple times a week given the convent location for me! Only thing is, I used to come in often for grams but now they mostly carry larger amounts, eighths and halves etc… what I would do to see a few more of those specialty grams! I would definitely come by more often because sometimes I really just want that smaller amount for a specific medicinal purpose.

I came across Capital City Care Dispensary and they were the most friendly crew ever. If you buy the chocolate edibles in batch number 1A40901000000B000034743 they have gotten so warm that the chocole melted and cooled again, leaving that whitish coating. There is no cannabis odor. The texture is crunchy like chalk. There is very little flavor of any kind. There are no medicinal effects as the THC has been destroyed. I tried to explain it to them but they disagreed with everything I said, in effect calling me a liar. They wouldn't even look at the pieces. I am now out $200 with no recourse. If you need edibles try the sea salt chocolate. Though they do have a tiny bit of that whitish color, they look, smell, and taste correct. And they have the needed medical effects. I don't sleep without this medication and my dr says it's healing my autoimmunity. I have had chocolate edibles from California, Colorado, New Mexico, and Arizona, as well as making my own for the past 5 years. I know my way around cannabis edibles. This is wrong. ????

Need to have everyone on the same script, rather than the info you receive is based on who you speak to and how they feel that day. VA doesn't give cards any more was told would be ok if provide a screen shot. Tired of these dispensaries not acknowledging that people actually have medical needs. Drove 2 hours in traffic just to be turned away. Because i brought a passport rather than state issued id which i was told was "accepable" by them. A very clean and interesting space. They have a waiting room that you first enter to check in and wait in if there are too many people inside (COVID). Once allowed back, the space takes on a sort of coffee shop vibe with a long counter and people to assist. All individuals are very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. The prices are also cheaper than those in other dispensaries. Overall, a very pleasant and helpful place.

I got my card as soon as the program started in Va. Capitol City Care (Dispensary) was the first shop that came up and I though. Why not? Let’s give them a shake. Since then I have gone no place else for my medical needs. I've been to the new location a few times now. I like the new West Coast style interior design. Definitely top DC design if the Medical Dispensaries in the area. Their "Budtenders" and "Security" are extremely kind and helpful.The only reason why I wont give them 5 stars is because the young ladies they have at the windows are very unwelcoming. They greeted me both times like I wasn't supposed to be there... Maybe a little extra customer service training would help in that area. Also BEWARE OF THE LARGE GROUP OF MEN WHO CONSTANTLY LOITER OUTSIDE! They definitely harrass me everytime I've visited.

A very clean and interesting space. They have a waiting room that you first enter to check in and wait in if there are too many people inside (COVID). Once allowed back, the space takes on a sort of coffee shop vibe with a long counter and people to assist. All individuals are very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. The prices are also cheaper than those in other dispensaries. Overall, a very pleasant and helpful place.

I got my card as soon as the program started in Va. Capitol City Care (Dispensary) was the first shop that came up and I though. Why not? Let’s give them a shake. Since then I have gone no place else for my medical needs. Andrew, Jeff, Josh, and Collin are very compassionate and understanding, they allow you to take your time and ask questions with no feeling of being rushed! They have an amazing loyalty program that has saved me so much money! I cannot say enough great things about the Bud tenders and the front desk staff. They make you feel like you belong there! 10 out of 10 will continue to go!!!

Capital City Care is exactly what a dispensary should be and more! It all starts with their professional welcoming attitude when you walk through the door. Professional in how they provide safety, offer sales, rewards points, holiday specials, and a wide variety of products. Welcoming in how they treat you every single time you come in , answering all your questions and providing fantastic customer service! My first experience was with Josh and I couldn’t have been more impressed. He is exceptional. I spent time the next couple times in with Andrew and again perfect, he is very knowledgeable and listens to your needs. My latest visit found Jeff with a booming welcome and a big positive energy. Capital city care is outstanding I had an issue with my card and they worked with me and resolved my issue. Josh the bud tender was outstanding made me feel at home and welcome assisted me with all my purchases and gave me some of his opinions on what I should try next time I come. I’ve never had such an easy and helpful staff in a long time and I’ll definitely be a returning customer. Thanks capital city care and thank you josh for making my holiday weekend go good

I’ve been coming here for years and love it! So excited they have edibles, too. Andrew was just great in helping pick out the best flour. They also have a great selection of oils! This is hands down the best dispensary in DC!

I've been to the new location a few times now. I like the new West Coast style interior design. Definitely top DC design if the Medical Dispensaries in the area. Their "Budtenders" and "Security" are extremely kind and helpful.The only reason why I wont give them 5 stars is because the young ladies they have at the windows are very unwelcoming. They greeted me both times like I wasn't supposed to be there... Maybe a little extra customer service training would help in that area. Also BEWARE OF THE LARGE GROUP OF MEN WHO CONSTANTLY LOITER OUTSIDE! They definitely harrass me everytime I've visited.
