I stopped by Basa today to pick up something, and while the lady behind the counter was nice, she wasn’t very helpful. I felt rushed instead of given the time to look around and possibly spend more. She talked very quickly and didn’t show me any other options then the ones she wanted me to get. Unhappy but definitely a paying customer. Do better!!

Nick was an amazing host. I was a bit nervous as I haven’t stepped foot in a store in a while. Nick’s positive energy was calming for me and his quick response about product knowledge made me feel more confident in the products I purchased.

I have been a regular here for a while, even before the renovation Basa 2.0. Most of my experiences had been great, staff are friendly and they had great many great choices available. Unfortunately ever since they change their payment system I have been reluctant to come back here. When you pay with card different employees processed the transaction differently. Some will say it will round up and charge me $3, and the $3 will be coming back to me. Some will just keep the $3. I’m not sure what im supposed to expect, sometimes i just stand after payment for a second to wait if i get the $3 or not. Inconsistent policy. I never walk out of that door without giving at least $1 tip regardless how small my order is, but taking my change that I guess i supposed to get back it’s very disappointing. Look I love coming here, but please clarify what is expected when paying with card.

Basa SF is my go to spot. I get great meds at a great price. I'm always excited if my favorite tenders marie or Nas are working but if they aren't I know I'll be taken care of regardless! At 69.00%thc and $11 out the door after tax the prophet 1 gram "chill" cartridges is my go to purchase!

Very lacking in sales skills for first timers.Came in very friendly, stating I was new to recreational dispensaries, and asking for advice on the basics. I was like an idiot and impatiently asked technical questions as to what I want with terms being rattled off, quite the opposite of what your hope the response might be to the actual situation I had explained.Questions like: do you have any pains or aches you want addressed, are you a smoker at all, how much do you want to spend… or were not asked. No literature to explain any of this. I mean you get a better standard than this from a coffee shop that care about coffee.No time offered to explain the main categories of products and what the differences are (at the time I was virtually the only customer as well!) the lady actually turned me over to another staff member such was her frustration as me not coming in knowing exactly what I want. I suspect this place makes very little to no investment in staff training in customer service or hospitality.After being very excited about the experience, it left me severely underwhelmed. And despite spending money here I would go elsewhere on principle now.

Worst dispensary experience ever in SF. Their product listing is on a tv which changes every 5 seconds so you can’t see what you want easily. Also the signage is unclear and the TV overscan is incorrect. Someone had to pull a box of their products and then didn’t give me the product I paid for. I had to go back and exchange the lower priced product for the product I actually paid for. They also have a ton of propane tanks in the parking lot which seems kinda sketch.

Best dispensary in SF! I've been going to BASA for years and I'm always pleasantly surprised at how many deals they have. Definitely my go-to place for cartridges, where they offer plenty of options for grams under $30. Their flower selection is also fantastic, everything from cheap bulk eights to top shelf... something for everyone!
