While I've been smoking since 23 I've been a daily smoker for 12 years minus being pregnant and breast feeding. I've tried concentrates and carts. He was able to help me better understand how to use a wax pen versus dab rig. I'm incredibly uncoordinated and klumsy. Rigs, at least the traditional kind, overwhelm me with parts, accessories and the extreme heat. Based off his recommendations, I'm gong to purchase a pen and then get a type of concentrate to try. I'm glad he was able to steer me in the right direction. I'm glad I'm able to finally use a dispensary. Hopefully, it'll go recreational soon and he can let a lot of others get knowledgeable information.Thanks!

The St. Albans Cannabist location is amazing!! Christian helped me out today and has helped me several times in the past. He and the rest of the Cannabist crew are fabulous, kind, knowledgeable about the products. I just don’t see how they could be any better. Cannabist frequently has 20-30% off deals and the accrual of stash cash helps also. You won’t be disappointed by visiting this Cannabist location.

I visit all the dispensary’s in my area, Christopher is easily the top budtenders, His knowledge extends far past the average employee, with an in-depth knowledge of Cannabis, Terpene profiles, and the medical effects it as on the human body. If your a new user or exp user that cannot near down the strain you require; I highly suggest asking for Christopher on your next visit. When you think dispensary and your ideal visit, Christopher delivers on that experience.

My first visit here was good. On my second visit I got some flower that was dried out like the bag it came in wasn’t sealed correctly. I let that go because it still medicated decently.. Today out of convenience, I placed an online order in preparation for my third visit. When I arrived I was turned away because I was holding my two-year-old. That’s fair and all because it’s their rules, but out of the at least six dispensaries I visit in West Virginia, this has never happened to me before, so I will not be returning to this dispensary. They inconvenienced me in a big way today. There’s nothing special about this place and the young women that work there are snooty.

Went here because of the half oz and full oz specials. The product is dry and brittle to the touch. Has zero smell. Very upset about it. Complete garbage. Should let customers know that the product is trash before we buy it. Bad business.

This place is honestly kind of disgusting in their practice. Getting my med card and ID both demanded from me like 3 times was unsettling. Everyone is miserable and rude. They push you to buy stuff and allow people to walk out with product that's ALMOST EXPIRED AND FULL PRICE !!!Kinda disgusted. Never coming back here. It's really not worth having to deal with bad customer service.

Decent place if you get new shipments. Can't believe they refuse to price match their own location. Huntington location had a $50 strain $10 cheaper and saint albans refused to match it. Everytime I visit, there's another reason for me to stop. Greene Street in cross lanes or kanawha city is the way to go!!

Seem to have a good base knowledge on terpenes, parent strains, etc and if unsure had data base to reference for confirmation. One of the few dispensaries in area with a large selection of Hybrid and Sativa. The trend I have noticed at others are Indica leaning for some strange reason and limited strain selection. I do wish there were more concentrate options here and in the area as well as prices would reflect that of other states. WV is already a “poor” state I hate to think there are patients out there who simply can not afford their medication here because the price of 1g is equal to 14g in other states, and no it isn’t a quality thing. Yes I solely look at Cannabis as medication, no different for the vet that needs a strong indica to sleep due to the ptsd than the diabetic that needs insulin. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is the other budtenders there seemed to not be as friendly when I was there talking to the one taking care of me. I am super big in customer service and that keeps me loyal to a place more than prices; price is a very close 2nd though lol I do wish they had more info available to everyone such as deals for the day etc. overall one of the best I have been to ever across multiple places/states. Also my points haven’t showed yet in my profile which seems to be an issue at several dispensaries. Keep up the good work and selection!

Frequent deals, great atmosphere, with friendly, helpful, knowledgeable staff. Even the security guard at the door is very friendly everytime I see him, it really feels like family. Another huge plus is they carry my favorite brand of products in the program so far. Amber solventless concentrates!!! they are absolutely 🔥 and are the best dabs in the state (sofar🤞) imho

Their discounts are ridiculous compared to other dispensaries. They only give 20% off AND no first time buyers discount here when Trulieve gives a 50% off first time buyers and usually gives 30% off for veterans. Kanacare in KC gives 25% and the Landing in KC gives 30% I think. Don't go to this dispensary the others are WAY better. Plus their thc% is low compared to the other dispensaries I listed. Very disappointed with this one...

I was loving this place. But they are an Ohie based company. The Landing in Kanawha City is 100% WV based company. Grown here, processed here, sold here. Money stays in-state. This company sends it's profits to Ohio. I am 💯 WV and believe our money should stay here. GO TO THE LANDING. WV BASED COMPANY. No armed security, walk in and you feel immediately comfortable.

The selection is currently (late May 2022) lacking and hopefully that will change since they haven’t been open long.The flower worked, one strain in particular was unique and very effective. However, as others have said the trim is lousy. Stems, leaves, underdeveloped popcorn buds. This is mid-tier, and the prices are top shelf. Also there isn’t a rewards system that I know of (sorry if I’m incorrect) and they don’t give you any benefits for being a first time patient at their facility. Again, hopefully this will develop in time as they contract new growers.Also- why can’t we tip the helpful staff like every other dispensary?Getting 3 stars for the excellent, friendly staff and clean, beautiful environment.Will update as the store progresses. I have high hopes.

However when it comes to Seeds & Strain flower 3.5G itself it needs some improvements. Most Vape carts are pretty good. Many visits later and I’ve seen some flower improvements. Always have ID and WVMMC ready, as they ask for several times.****I also add Boveda packs to my flower as soon as I purchase. It saves terpenes & improvements quality of the flower****

My first visit here was good. On my second visit I got some flower that was dried out like the bag it came in wasn’t sealed correctly. I let that go because it still medicated decently.. Today out of convenience, I placed an online order in preparation for my third visit. When I arrived I was turned away because I was holding my two-year-old. That’s fair and all because it’s their rules, but out of the at least six dispensaries I visit in West Virginia, this has never happened to me before, so I will not be returning to this dispensary. They inconvenienced me in a big way today. There’s nothing special about this place and the young women that work there are snooty.

Went here because of the half oz and full oz specials. The product is dry and brittle to the touch. Has zero smell. Very upset about it. Complete garbage. Should let customers know that the product is trash before we buy it. Bad business.

This place is honestly kind of disgusting in their practice. Getting my med card and ID both demanded from me like 3 times was unsettling. Everyone is miserable and rude. They push you to buy stuff and allow people to walk out with product that's ALMOST EXPIRED AND FULL PRICE !!!Kinda disgusted. Never coming back here. It's really not worth having to deal with bad customer service.

Decent place if you get new shipments. Can't believe they refuse to price match their own location. Huntington location had a $50 strain $10 cheaper and saint albans refused to match it. Everytime I visit, there's another reason for me to stop. Greene Street in cross lanes or kanawha city is the way to go!!

Very clean, efficient, and organized. Much larger selection than other dispensaries in area. Budtender was extremely nice, professional, and helpful. Seem to have a good base knowledge on terpenes, parent strains, etc and if unsure had data base to reference for confirmation. One of the few dispensaries in area with a large selection of Hybrid and Sativa. The trend I have noticed at others are Indica leaning for some strange reason and limited strain selection. I do wish there were more concentrate options here and in the area as well as prices would reflect that of other states. WV is already a “poor” state I hate to think there are patients out there who simply can not afford their medication here because the price of 1g is equal to 14g in other states, and no it isn’t a quality thing. Yes I solely look at Cannabis as medication, no different for the vet that needs a strong indica to sleep due to the ptsd than the diabetic that needs insulin. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is the other budtenders there seemed to not be as friendly when I was there talking to the one taking care of me. I am super big in customer service and that keeps me loyal to a place more than prices; price is a very close 2nd though lol I do wish they had more info available to everyone such as deals for the day etc. overall one of the best I have been to ever across multiple places/states. Also my points haven’t showed yet in my profile which seems to be an issue at several dispensaries. Keep up the good work and selection!

I've had my card for almost a year now and have been to every dispensary in the area plenty of times and I find myself coming to Cannabist St Albans more than any other. Frequent deals, great atmosphere, with friendly, helpful, knowledgeable staff. Even the security guard at the door is very friendly everytime I see him, it really feels like family. Another huge plus is they carry my favorite brand of products in the program so far. Amber solventless concentrates!!! they are absolutely 🔥 and are the best dabs in the state (sofar🤞) imho

Their discounts are ridiculous compared to other dispensaries. They only give 20% off AND no first time buyers discount here when Trulieve gives a 50% off first time buyers and usually gives 30% off for veterans. Kanacare in KC gives 25% and the Landing in KC gives 30% I think. Don't go to this dispensary the others are WAY better. Plus their thc% is low compared to the other dispensaries I listed. Very disappointed with this one...

I was loving this place. But they are an Ohie based company. The Landing in Kanawha City is 100% WV based company. Grown here, processed here, sold here. Money stays in-state. This company sends it's profits to Ohio. I am 💯 WV and believe our money should stay here. GO TO THE LANDING. WV BASED COMPANY. No armed security, walk in and you feel immediately comfortable.

The selection is currently (late May 2022) lacking and hopefully that will change since they haven’t been open long.The flower worked, one strain in particular was unique and very effective. However, as others have said the trim is lousy. Stems, leaves, underdeveloped popcorn buds. This is mid-tier, and the prices are top shelf. Also there isn’t a rewards system that I know of (sorry if I’m incorrect) and they don’t give you any benefits for being a first time patient at their facility. Again, hopefully this will develop in time as they contract new growers.Also- why can’t we tip the helpful staff like every other dispensary?Getting 3 stars for the excellent, friendly staff and clean, beautiful environment.Will update as the store progresses. I have high hopes.

Grand opening was nice and love my Tee shirt. Overall very nice shopping experience. Employees are very helpful. Hardly no wait time. However when it comes to Seeds & Strain flower 3.5G itself it needs some improvements. Most Vape carts are pretty good. Many visits later and I’ve seen some flower improvements. Always have ID and WVMMC ready, as they ask for several times.****I also add Boveda packs to my flower as soon as I purchase. It saves terpenes & improvements quality of the flower****
