I thought everything about this expansion was a little odd, but especially when they claimed a remodel was the reason for closing the store while opening the new Renton location. What in the world could possibly be remodeled in such a tiny space? I thought it was even weirder that the store looked completely untouched when I went to Ike’s after finishing off what I had stocked up on before they closed. This was toward the tail end of July.I went to the donut shop next door to them today, and saw a notice on the door. The notice was posted on the 18th. While a Google search will pull up more than one result, Galaxy 21? or Galaxy21+? was a dispensary on 1st Ave that is permanently closed. It appears that company has applied for Mr. O.G.’s cannabis license. I also noticed today that nothing has been remodeled.It’s super unfortunate, and I’m sad to see them go — also think it’s a little weird they weren’t honest with customers about it, but I respect it. However, I’m super impressed that this little shop, that opened in 2018, was able to stay in business as long as it did. Especially with the competition across the street. I think that speaks volumes about their customer service and their patrons! I will be thrilled if I’m wrong, but if not, I wish you all much continued success. It’s the end of an era. ❤️

Not sure if they are closed for good after walking up to this vagueish sign today (7/1/2025), but if they are, I will be incredibly sad.Edit 7/7: They responded to my email inquiry and will be reopening in the same location in the near future! Whew! Friendliest staff of any shop in Seattle, not *just* cannabis shops.

Stopped in for a quick purchase. Was surprised right away with the cleanliness.Amazing customer service. Knowledgeable, and attentive staff. Was in and out quickly with more than I planned to purchase. Establishment even has military discount.

They have good product. I go in there maybe once a month, twice at most. However, this review is because I have had multiple friends talk about a staff member who shares too much personal information which I've heard myself. Ppl go there to buy bud, not to hear about how your wife has gfs and then to be showing staff members pictures while there are customers inside. You're like 40yrs old, get a grip.

Wow went to Ike’s and was like yikes so I went to Mr OGs and man was I pleased!! Dude behind the counter got me plugged in and I win!! Got to say it is the hidden bud this place is alright and I’ll be back as I used to go to SODO and now I may be staying here in white center!!

My fav local place for buying the things you need. The owner (manager?) is so awesome and she never steers me wrong with recommendations. None of the people there do actually, and I always have a great experience when I go there.Prices are good and the daily deals/happy hour are pretty good too. The staff though, they can make or break a place. This shop has a great staff.

Cozy little shop, the employee who helped me was nice. But I placed an order online, never got back any confirmation my order was ready so drove in a few hours later only to find out they didn’t have most of what I ordered, which was a bummer because purposely went there for a specific strain they said they had. I will give them another try, but wouldn’t order online again.
