Awesome location as they have the friendliest staff, best selection and it never seems to be too busy. It was my go-to spot but lately I’ve been getting a lot of faulty carts. Not only clogging up but never worked from the beginning. So far they've been pretty cool about swapping out the defective ones, so I’ve kept the 4 star. But I’m worried they’re going to stop replacing them. If I didn’t have the cartridge issues, it’d totally be a 5-star!!

Love the products, but the points system needs work. On sale days they advertise double points. It takes days, if you get them, to get your points. The last sale I didn't even get my double points. Just disappointing when you spend extra knowing you're getting points and they don't show. Worse yet, there's no one to contact. Not even a n email to get ignored.

Usually I feel cool about coming here to get stuff! Due to ptsd etc however if your sick you should have a mask on! Other people don’t want your germs. Might not be back! The fact that they don’t even wait till you leave to talk about you is crazy. But it’s cool! I have never been talked to the way I have! If me feeling uncomfortable because you’re sneezing without a mask, and you talk to me like I am a idiot will make anybody feel uncomfortable, however, no matter if you’re sneezing in your arm or using your hands to cover your mouth you should still excuse yourself and get off front line and wash your hands other employees shouldn’t have to joke around in a passive, aggressive manner saying yeah I don’t wanna get sick. Keep that over there and other two employees already talking about how they feel bad like they’re coming down with something, then the individual tells me they’re not serious! I can clearly see that the person and the people aren’t feeling well . joking or not in today’s time that’s something not to be joked around about. Most people have other underlining conditions where they cannot afford to get sick that should not be made fun of or taken lightly. And in reality I know you don’t care if I come back or not and that’s fine, but what’s right is right and wrong is wrong. What’s the point of hiring pharmacy technicians? If they don’t take healthcare seriously. Since I’ve been coming here, it’s only been two individuals that have treated me with common decency and respect. Usually she’s on a far right cash register/computer and she’s melanin. Super cool super down to earth and the other guy is super cool down on earth as well. He has a lot of tattoos Caucasian with super pretty long hair, whenever I come here, I don’t cause any problems for anybody. And I shouldn’t be looked at any kind away because I’m not happy like a cheerleader but I am respectful I have never disrespected anybody. I have never talk badly about anybody but yet I get that energy I am not from Virginia And I’m going through some really serious stuff to be judged! And just because I have a medical card that doesn’t make y’all better than me.

That info should automatically calculated.we should see that info on our app .The app counts our points but not our allowance? ...

They provide you with a booklet to track how each choice is helping or not working. They really had all the answers for my questions. I’m an avid smoker; very mindful of quality buds… that being said. This place is NOT for the people . The buds don’t seem quality. 80% dry buds / 20% of the high end buds that are sprayed with chemicles you can feel the harshness. Not to mention the avg 1/8 price is $65! I mean if this is the last resort fasho by all means . But when it comes to quality and health, something’s up with these buds.

Staff was extremely helpful, took the time to look up my allergies with pine to find out if both alpha and beta were allergens and come to find out only one was... 🙃 this is why I chose to purchase my medicinal marijuana in the first place.. to be able to control the outcome and experience after smoking.. whether I need it for anxiety/pain/relaxation for nighttime or focus/motivation during daytime! Their disposable vapes are convenient for on the go too!! Just wish they were a little bit cheaper...

My first experience here was nice. Security greeted me at the door told me what to do, I gave the front desk my paperwork, she input my information and I got buzzed in another door. Everyone spoke as soon as I stepped in at least 8 people. This was my first time so it was pretty euphoric lol. Other customers came in happy, joking with the employees the energy was great. I was helped by a girl named Allison I believe, she was informative about everything from A-Z, it made my first decision easy and I was satisfied with my purchases. All in all. Great experience

The reason for the 1 star rating. Whoever that is responsible for marketing of the Cannabist website needs to do a better job. The products online have no description or no instructions on how to use the item nor does it list what type of side effect/expection the product delivers. I'm really confused per example when I go to the cannabist site regarding the extract section I see a image of distillate syringe and glass jar of concentration of some type but then it says vape. Please modify the site with the proper description and instructions so the consumer knows actually what we are placing a online order for pickup before the customer has to to waste time and energy ordering the wrong item. I have spoken with several consumers with Cannabist which feel the same.Honestly I expect your company and Organization to do a lot better with presenting the menu items online. Thank you in advance your loyal customer and consumer.

I’m concerned about how pricing on the website does not reflect at the actual location. An employee acknowledged the error and said management had already been told. Also the larger quantities cost more per unit than smaller quantities which does not make any sense. Just be aware of the pricing.

My fist visit was August 1st. The staff couldn’t have been nicer. I arrived with my Medical Marijuana Card printed out, however I did not have the required Doctor’s original paper that is also required. No problem. They went through my phone and found it in my files! Excellent service! They also helped guide me through the purchasing of various products for the first time that might help me with chronic pain. I highly recommend this dispensary shop in Portsmouth to anyone that is thinking about getting their Medical Marijuana Card. Easily a 5 🌟 rateing !

This facility does not sell recreational. Although it’s been legal in the state of VA since last July 2021, I guess they don’t have the necessary paperwork filed. The lady at the desk told me it’s not legal here but that’s just a lie. Don’t waste your time or gas and go somewhere else like in Virginia Beach at OMG. Thank me later

It's cool and all but it will fail if the prices don't drop. Way cheaper in the streets and the bud isn't that great for what your paying, and the bud is always dusty and xrunchy. And they refuse to sell more than an a quarter if they even have quarters. Dc is the better option.

In DC just a few hours away they have the same exact products, same company and they charged half of what this dispensary charges. They said its "overhead" which doesnt make sense. Its just a monopoly because there are no dispensaries around to compete. They need to cut prices to something more reasonable.

As a toker with 20+ yrs of experience, my one and only suggestion for patients of CC Portsmouth is STAY AWAY from gLeaf products. I don't trust this company at all. All, and I mean all of their flower is super dry. Which means it was not grown right or is expired, and if you weigh the flower on a scale it will always be below 3.5g bc of it's dryness. This company is selling it's products at a premium when in reality you couldn't even sell their garbage flower on the street.Seed and Strain is a solid brand, very good flower. The products are overpriced but that is to be expected with an mmj program that is one year old.

Hope they get their system straightened out, couldn’t use points or see what I had because system was down last time. They also have to send code to your phone number, wish it could be improved to email (before hand) so as customers we can see what we are working with.

This facility does not sell recreational. Although it’s been legal in the state of VA since last July 2021, I guess they don’t have the necessary paperwork filed. The lady at the desk told me it’s not legal here but that’s just a lie. Don’t waste your time or gas and go somewhere else like in Virginia Beach at OMG. Thank me later

It's cool and all but it will fail if the prices don't drop. Way cheaper in the streets and the bud isn't that great for what your paying, and the bud is always dusty and xrunchy. And they refuse to sell more than an a quarter if they even have quarters. Dc is the better option.

Nice place, good products, friendly staff. Only issue is the products are about double what they should be. In DC just a few hours away they have the same exact products, same company and they charged half of what this dispensary charges. They said its "overhead" which doesnt make sense. Its just a monopoly because there are no dispensaries around to compete. They need to cut prices to something more reasonable.

As a toker with 20+ yrs of experience, my one and only suggestion for patients of CC Portsmouth is STAY AWAY from gLeaf products. I don't trust this company at all. All, and I mean all of their flower is super dry. Which means it was not grown right or is expired, and if you weigh the flower on a scale it will always be below 3.5g bc of it's dryness. This company is selling it's products at a premium when in reality you couldn't even sell their garbage flower on the street.Seed and Strain is a solid brand, very good flower. The products are overpriced but that is to be expected with an mmj program that is one year old.
