Wow, some bad reviews there that seem pretty contrary to my experiences. The staff, even when busy, greet you with a smile and excellent customer service. You can order either on a tablet, beforehand online, or you can request a staffers help translating the terapins in the products as it affects different health situations.The building is so big because they have a lab in the back.Prices are a bit high but thats the name of the game, and I havent found a cheaper option, so prices are STANDARDly high 🤷♀️.Their rewards program is pretty generous too, after a couple months of saving my stars I got $60 off of my order total. Ish adds up.Overall, I think very highly of this place
UPDATE:Since returning, I’ve noticed more staff being trained. However, the prices remain ridiculously high.They also had a sale with some items erroneously labeled. It took several representatives to even confirm whether or not it was an error, and then didn’t even offer to honor the sale when I pointed it out. I completely understand mistakes, but of course I was asked to tip again after all that. So annoying.Be prepared to spend 25-45 minutes or more here because they’re very understaffed, even during non peak hours. Only one person receiving everyone: new patients who have no idea how to make an appointment or register, and patients coming for a “quick” pick up.Staff is super nice but corporate leaves a lot to be desired. As an aside: if you’re a visitor and unable to patronize this location, they will only recommend their other branches, regardless of how impractical it is (overheard them telling another patient to go far out of their way!)After waiting forever, you’ll also be asked via tablet to tip! They tout themselves as medical and follow medical guidelines, but ask for tips like recreational bartenders. Not the best look; they’ve defended themselves saying this is a service but I don’t tip at pharmacies for medication.
This is a confounding business model: creepy-looking interior (what’s with the black hallway to nowhere?), awkward reception, and SHORT STAFFED!A lot of people have commented on this—come on, corporate, get up off a dime.
This location used to be one of the quickest but the past few times I've been in I've had to wait nearly an hour to get my pick-up order. They seem terribly understaffed. There also used to be more people around that could help answer questions, now there's often only one tired looking person on the registers trying to check out the other 10-20 people. I feel bad about interrupting but have had to on more than one occasion just to ask about the status of my order. I only got a certificate because I thought it be more convenient than going into Maryland or DC since I live in the area, but with these wait times I may be better off making the drive again.
I absolutely love this location and the staff. They're always friendly and helpful. However, I have some concerns about the recent changes. The decision to move all the registers to the front of the room feels like a step backward. Most customers use the kiosks near the front, and with the waiting area in the same space, it feels like there's little privacy. When checking out, you're asked for personal information like your birthdate. They also have to verify order details. Now in close proximity to other customers, which can be awkward. The other day, there were customers on either side of me at the kiosks, just a few feet apart. As someone who works in the medical field, it honestly feels like a potential HIPAA violation, and I’m not sure if this is even compliant. It’s also causing delays, as staff now have to walk much farther to retrieve orders, which slows down the process. I really hope they consider moving the registers back to the original location. It just made more sense and felt more secure.
I am not sure what the folks at the Fairfax store are thinking. I made a reservation to pick up a few gummies because my back pain was flaring up and I got an email to confirming it. Later on in the day i got another email telling me that my reservation was cancelled. I figured that i could go to the store and work this out. When I got there ar 7:45 I was told that my license had expired. Well yes, I did renew my license a few months ago. I asked why there was no attempt to call me instead of the email that I did not get to read right away. No answer. When the driver's license issue got squared away I asked to place the order at the store. I was told that it was too late (by now 7:50) and they would not accept any more orders during that day. I was shown the door. Really folks? Not the best of customer service here...
This dispensary is perfection! Everyone is so nice and they don’t try to upsell you; they genuinely want to help. Side not GET the guitar vape! I got mine in pink and I love it’s. The woman at the front desk helped me so much; I’m so grateful! I wish I could remember her name but she is just lovely. Highly recommend this place ☺️
These store are terrible. Been using a passport and been checked buy medical for two years. Now today I'm not allowed in with out a bank statement proving my residence to VA.I have a med license from the board of pharmacy I think that is enough along with a passport and the Dr letter.Today was the last straw.To many issues. Being charged for product I'm not buying. Attacked by a crazy employee. Had to be reimbursed points and go through receipts with them because they weren't tracking correctly.Weed is not what they say it is on bag compared to screen."Pharmacists maybe 22 years old at best"Bathrooms are disgusting.Good luck future and current "Patients"
The store and staff are nice, but they need more offerings and it would be great if bud varieties would be available a 2nd time. Every time I go, i have to try a new bud variety which is interesting, but I would also like to repeat buds that were good for me.
Made the mistake of waiting on my girlfriend in the car while she tried to get her order. First, her email wasn't working. Printing the certificate there WAS an option, because one of the front ppl asked, and the response was "they don't like that." So after a big waste of time, we got it to go through from my email. Cool. You'd think.I sat in the car for yet another 45 minutes and texted my girlfriend to see what's up. "They lost my order." I'm sorry, what? They "lost" her order? So she checked in with them not once, but twice and they kept forgetting about her. I sat in this car and watched like 20 people come in and out while she was politely in there waiting and getting forgotten about. No hello welcome in from the desk and no have a nice day on our way out.I'm sorry but for people who are supposed to be here to help, you actually just caused an hour and a half of pure stress. Thanks for that.
Staff were friendly and communicated clearly in a very professional manner, as always. I Picked up through an online order I made ahead of time and it was ready for me at my pickup time with a short wait.
Always get it right. Better to place order online and then pickup when ready. Senior discounts are best on Sundays. Great location at 123 and 50.
So, I go to Beyond Hello ALL THE TIME.The Fairfax location has the best employees. They're very informative and nice.I personally have to give a good review to the lady who sits at the front desk. Her name is Walaa Agiza. She's the best.Also Ben who works in the back is very helpful and knowledgable. I've purchased so many things here, trying to find something, and all the flower I've bought, either ground or not, had always been sitting for too long. Its old and not potent. It's either too moist or crumbles into nothing. The fine grind is the worst. Tasted terrible when smoking, couldn't finish it. They need to work on their freshness. I get much better bud the old fashioned way.

Variety of edibles is pathetic and almost always out of stock. Their prices are only reasonable on the days they offer 20% or more off. They have military discounts but active duty cannot partake in cannabis products??? They offer teacher discounts but only if you teach at a university???? There are many other reasonably priced dispensaries so I recommend you use this one as a last resort.
Have been coming to this location from time to time since 2023. I usually go to Sterling. The Sterling people know how to manage high traffic while setting realistic wait times. Simply put, the Sterling people know how to communicate. My experience at the Fairfax location Sunday afternoon Feb 25 was bizarre. Tons of customers on the sales floor waiting. Front desk seemed aloof to this fact and the pharmacy technician on the floor at that moment was not working with any sense of urgency nor communicating to us about what was going on. She would take an order from the cubby, run to the back for some reason, and at one point was emptying the tip jar. I left without my order after 1 HOUR of patiently waiting. I had put in an online pick up order preemptively and showed up around my scheduled time. This isn’t the first time I’ve experienced longer than usual wait times at this location. I would really love for Customer Care or the Store Manager of this location to reach out to me to explain how their wait queue works, because it is clearly different than Beyond Hello’s other locations. The efficiency is just not up to par. I feel very disrespected for my time wasted yesterday.
Terrible dispensary. Placed an order over the weekend and arrived to find the dispensary closed several hours earlier than listed. Nobody contacted me to inform me that my online order would not be fulfilled and that they would be closing early. Could not get my medication that I needed. Extremely unprofessional business. Order is never ready for pickup when I arrive and have to wait a long time. There needs to be more competition so that businesses can't operate as terribly as this one and so that we as patients have more options to get our medication efficiently and professionally. Advise to go elsewhere.

This Hass to be the worst location with the worst customer service. This is the third time I’ve come by During their posted hours only for them to have Closed early. They intentionally do not answer phone calls, I guess when they’re ready to go, they just leave. Avoid this location there’s no guarantee they’re going to be open when you need your medicine.
The last 2 month .what I've gotten, has been very, very, dry and flaky. No effect I tried three different strands . Spent $300+. every month.I will no longer go to them. I will be going to exotic Bloom they deliver. Advise you to save your money. the Fairfax location don't go. You will not be very satisfied. The best thing about that is place the employees I'll give them 10 Stars
made me wait 40 minutes for a pick up order and still left empty handed. only one cashier working. their prices are insane you’re better off going to maryland and even with the tax it's still cheaper than beyond hello for the SAME products. md also has way more variety & better discounts. not worth it avoid at all costs!!
Went there for the first time and the service was good but me thing was weird they were asking for tips at the end. I don’t tip the cashier at Giant why here? Anyway, I was not happy with quality at all. It was substandard stuff. I called nicely and and explained I was not happy with the product. He told me there was nothing he could do. After spending $550 I guess my business was not important to them. Also, if you can’t stand by your product, that is a message to all their customers, buyer beware.
For this being my first time trying this dispensary, I am absolutely disappointed. The customer service was terrible. I drove over an hour to buy product at a discounted price because it was a deal they had going on, on the website. I placed an order online beforehand so that I could just pick it up once I got there. I get all the way up there and they are all of a sudden telling me that the product is out of stock. I said okay, well can you just give me a different strain but at the same price? The pharmacist refused and said that he couldn’t do it. I was super frustrated because I drove the distance and was not told beforehand that the product was out of stock. He told me it went out of stock at 6pm, but my pickup time was 7. If you knew since 6pm, why wouldn’t you have given me a call, email, or text, to let me know that so that I wouldn’t have wasted my time and come all the way up there? He couldn’t say anything except for an apology. I feel like the least that could’ve been done was to just give me a different strain at the advertised price. This was a terrible first experience and I had higher expectations. I will definitely be taking my business and my money elsewhere.

This was my first visit to the Fairfax location. I was able to order exactly what I wanted online and it was ready before I even got there. The employees here are so very nice and friendly and took care of me right away. I was still at the ATM when my name was called!I had read some previous reviews for this location that weren't very good, but my experience was terrific and I will definitely come here for all my future needs.
Horrible Business.. YOU WILL BE PROFILED before being able to shop.Have spent thousands $$ at this store.. and always a terrible vibe. Workers too cool to talk to you ..Called 1 hour before to confirm in store order was available, they said YES. Drove 40 minutes , got to the front with ID (same guy who always profiles me with a weird evil eye) refused to let me in and said their system was down… allows others to go in the back and shop..?I called back to check if system was down and it was NOT! Your front desk guy refused to serve a medical patient…ONLY SHOP MARYLAND FROM NOW ON!! $60-75 an Ounce instead of this Beyond ROBBERY .. $60 for 3.5g of lower quality Instead 28g of Top shelf? Laughable but not funny. Beyond-Robbed.

Usually I order ahead, but today I found myself passing the Fairfax store and stopped on the spur of the moment.Elizabeth greeted me and was extremely helpful in assisting me with my selections. The in-store order process is as easy and straightforward as the "from home" process and my order was filled in less than 5 minutes.Kudos to Elizabeth and to all the members of the Fairfax team Today was probably my sixth visit to the Fairfax location, and each one was an excellent customer experience.
Everyone at Fairfax Beyond Hello is so friendly! I've never had a bad experience at any B/H location, but this one is my favorite. Today Myles was really helpful with a purchase, and I'm a lot happier with it. Awesome speed, awesome customer service, super sweet front door folks who don't make me feel like an idiot because security doors are forever defeating me. 10/10; would recommend.
I have been coming here for about 2-3 months now and I’ve got to say that it’s been so far, a very pleasant experience! It’s very modern, clean, and staged in a very professional way. The staff are kind and straightforward, so I always (when I have the means for it) tip them 5-10%. I feel I don’t need to tip more, and they’re always are grateful for the gesture. Speaking on behalf of their employees, it can be hectic and busy for them, so please show patience to them so they can work efficiently with other patients! One time, I had this one guy who showed actual care in customer service, and showed me the whole product and it’s features when I asked. The discounts can be great and they’re always featured on the app and text messages I get, so I never miss them! Although, at times I feel the prices and quality of the cannabis can be hit or miss. I don’t care if the casing and packaging is luxuries. I care that I get dried flower that has been sitting on a shelf for 2 months and be charged 50 dollars for an eight. It seems kind of ridiculous to pay that kind of amount. Granted, you’re paying for safe, LEGAL, and convenient cannabis. 5 minutes from home, 2 minutes from work at another location! So although the cannabis can be sometimes be dry, the dispensaries products has helped with my back pain and sciatica for the past few months and it I am seriously thank you for that! Once again beyond hello lies and takes advantage of their patients. Can’t use your points unless they say it’s okay.But I expect nothing less from a company with a monopoly who alibi’s all there problems away. It’s the computers fault. You mean the computer system you purchased and control. First you steal all my reward points from my first six visits. And you blame it on I heart Jane. Still nothing from beyond hello on that but silence.Today tried to use my points but was told I couldn’t I had to make another visit to use my points. What a racket. Thieves at the store and coward’s in the board room taking advantage of the disabled and the disabled veterans who keep you lying cowards employed, by our need for a better way to relieve pain than a pill. This is a nice place, though it has its issues. The main issue being that this is a medical dispensary with extremely expensive products relative to their value. despite being a medical facility they have no content labeling on their products such as THC content, terpene content, and other cannabinoids. There are $65 tinctures on their site and when I asked an employee what was in it they had to bring a pharmacist from the back to ask, who had to look it up. Not only this, but they have a tip jar and ask for tips(?), encourage sales and discounts (much like a recreational dispensary), but don’t operate as a medical facility. It’s in a very gray area of legality right now and the consumer/those who NEED medicine are paying the price for it. If you go to a recreational state you will be appalled at how much lower the prices are.
Great everyone is pretty welcoming. The set up inside was spacious and neat. I wish there was more information about payment being only in debit card or cash . This might be a common practice? But It was my first time at a dispensary so I had no idea. It was bummer I couldn't use my apple pay with my debit card. But the pharmacist was pretty nice and helpful and the front staff was superwonderful and kind !! I products I got there worked awesome.
I’m new to the state from GA. Came in with a certificate from my doctor. First the gentleman stopped me at the door. Was not friendly just asked for my certificate. I explain I just moved to the area and provided him with my primary doctors certificate. I was then told that they only take certificates issued from doctors in Virginia. This is an issue, so do we now have to pay with each state that we go to just to have our prescriptions filled we have to get a new doctor every state we go to? That’s not a true dispensary
The guard at the front and the two front desk People are always great, but the people inside the dispensary act like they are getting minimum wage. I was the only one in and the two people working there were playing on their phones or drinking coffee rather than acknowledging me at all not even a hello. I had asked them if I could order only to be told to use iPads (no signage) If they had just said something, I wouldn’t have wasted time.Also the tip jars and options when you pay debt, are tacky it makes it look unprofessional, I don’t tip at my regular pharmacy why would I here?
Very disappointed. I drove to this location on a Sunday and arrived at 4:12 p.m. The website and door states it's open on Sundays from 10 a.m.-6 p.m., however the doors were locked and it was closed when I arrived. Another patron showed up and was confused as well. Not a good way to begin business and appeal to customers.

The selection is a little limited compared to medical dispensaries in DC and MD, but the prices are pretty decent.Definitely got the sense they were still working out some organizational kinks, but I was able to place a pickup order on opening day and it was ready almost two hours early - total time in the building was 15 minutes (note that I was already a registered BH customer).I do wish there was a location more convenient to Tysons (or even just a little closer to any metro station), but golly this sure beats schlepping down to Mount Vernon.
The facility was very nice, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The only bad thing I can say, and this is all the state of Virginia's fault, is that it can be a little tricky to get in depending where you are coming from, and Virginia roads will definitley force you to go where you don't want to go, especially since you can't make a U-turn most anywhere in the state. I also wish the city would get rid of that median by where both Beyond/Hello and Jiffy Lube are. I'd recommend going west from Fairfax and taking the entrance by the Jiffy Lube or coming in south from Chainbridge road and taking the exit which is catty corner from the Fairfax Crossroads sign.
We'll revisit at a later time, but as of Grand Opening they do not have their systems ready to assist patients.
How is this place opening more shops? Do yourself a favor and avoid this company like the plauge.
