Only getting 4 stars for the Jack Herer yall had in stock! I don’t appreciate getting an email that the order is ready only to be still left waiting. When I see other people walking in and getting their pick up orders, after 5 people I have to ask where’s my order. I shouldn’t have to ask, it should be ready when the email say it’s ready.
Nice building, and the staff were apologetic for the wait. That's the reason for the extra star.Even with a pre-order, I waited 40mins. Pay for the delivery, or drive to MD for rec. I'm super annoyed I wasted my time.
I really love that I can place my order online for pick up or delivery. I like to go in every now and then because the space is really nice for browsing. I don't know why some people complain about their customer service - all of my encounters from the very first visit has been nothing but positive and everyone is helpful with answering my questions, giving recommendations. I'm growing my knowledge base because of the employees who help me with each visit.
A complete facade.This place looks beautiful to the naked eye and feels like a great place for medical. BUT below the surface this pace is abysmal. No customer service AT ALL. You enter the “floor” to no one there but iPads. Also if you show up when the place opens, don’t plan on actually getting to shop. The front desk person (who no matter who they are, ALWAYS have an attitude) will be LATE!Also almost all the bud is dry and mid. And don’t even get me started about the inflated prices. Most of the products they sell are notoriously low quality…And worst of all, if you make a small order, you’re still waiting at least 20min for that order. Idk what these workers are doing in the back, but it shouldn’t take 20min to receive two carts.This store makes me lose all confidence in the VA medical or recreational market. There NEEDS to be market competition in this area. The monopoly this enterprise has should be criminal.
There was so kind they were so patient they were professional they walked me through. I have illnesses, mental and physical, and they made sure I was guided and helped. I highly recommend this place. The people the quality the quantity everything is amazing.
I have been a Beyond Hello in Alexandria customer for at least 2-3 years & have never complained that is till now. My complaint has to do with a vape cartridge & the poor handling of staff member at Beyond Hello at the store as well as their customer service care department. Since I live in rather remote area & am about 1 1/2 hours from the dispensary, I basically come up once a month and make large monthly purchases. So, last month I purchased a 1g Bloom vape cartridge, which BROKE. I had never had this happen before. The vape pen was in my pocket, I didn’t drop it, nor hit it etc., yet when I put my hand in my jacket pocket, the pocket was sticky wet. I pulled out the vape pen & saw a big gaping hole in the cartridge.Yesterday I made my monthly trip to the dispensary & I brought the broken cartridge. At first I was told they will swap it out, however, when the person came to the front of the store, he told me that they will not replace it since I bought it last month. I explained my situation, but all he did was to write a customer care number for me to call. I did & was told that despite the fact that they have a 45 days replacement policy, but since the store said NO, they can’t override the store. SERIOUSLY 😳 So why bother even giving me the number. It was all pointless. VERY DISAPPOINTED.Received a response from the company & was told they offer Product Satisfaction Promise for defective products. A link was included. I viewed their policy & again I am confused why I wasn’t given a replacement or store credit. I was within the 45 days period, I had the original packaging.
I left a review about 3 weeks ago stating that they close their doors for pick-up orders 30 minutes before closing, but don’t mention that anywhere on the website even though they have their hours posted. The business owner left a reply on my review saying that they would update their signage. They still haven’t. I guess this is just another business that tells customers what they want to hear but with no follow through. Disappointing.
They stop taking orders 30 minutes before close and that is not listed anywhere on the website. I walked in 25 minutes before closing and they refused to see me. If it was listed online that they stop taking orders I could have placed a pick up order much earlier. Frustrating since it’s medical. Staffing is incredibly rude. Especially the girl with blue hair. A customer was the one who was helpful and suggested a dispensary in Maryland that’s open until 9. The staff couldn’t be bothered.
I am an old hippie and am not used to being able to go into a store and ‘shop’ for what I need. Stephen was a terrific help in navigating the website. He was very pleasant and knowledgeable.
Cassey at the Alexandria location was AMAZING! She took the time to help me understand the strains and even printed a chart to help me navigate their products after. Everyone is very friendly and attentive. If you’re looking for a good dispensary, this is the one!
My overall review of this store is based off of the products they sell and quality of said items. Products are pricy and not all work as they should. Vaping products leave a lot to be desired and all but one I’ve bought has stopped working. Stay away from the cartridge vapes.
Charlotte and Cassie were so helpful and patient helping me maneuver some technical difficulties with my certification. I've been visiting BH Alexandria for a long time and have always appreciated their efficiency and positivity.
I am so fortunate to have the Beyond Hello Alexandria Dispensary nearby--almost within walking distance from home.I'm always greeted with a smile, and treated as if I'm the only person making a purchase, when, in fact, there are soooo many ahead of me.Quality, affordable products, excellent customer service....the only thing missing from this review is a six-star rating, but five stars will do for now.
I've been a loyal customer of BY for nearly a year and each visit I have always been met with friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient staff. Diverse selections of THC and CBD products too for the novice to the experienced cannabis users. P.S Kaila and Cassie are the best! 🫶🏾
I don’t know the young lady name that works the cashier, but every time I’ve made perches from the store and she’s there. She makes my shopping experience very easy.The times I’ve been in the store she’s always friendly and respectful to the customers l’ve seen her interact with. I want to publicly say Thank you to her and to Beyond Hello.
2nd time ordering delivery here and 2nd time getting nothing I asked for. They replaced the flower with another type and replaced all edibles with different ones. Nothing was communicated beforehand. Add in the fact that they missed the first delivery day (tried to delivery after midnight), stated they would instead delivery in the morning, didn't show up will 7pm next day after multiple messages requesting update. Don't waste your time with these jokers and take your business elsewhere.
Terrible service. Today is the second time in less than 6 months where I have placed an order for delivery and never had it delivered. Both times I had to reach out to the store to ask about the status of my order. Today, they told me I would have to come into the store by 5:30 pm if I wanted to get my order or wait until tomorrow to place the order again. This was at 5:20 pm — 10 minutes before the cut off. When I asked if the store could make an exception and allow me in if I were to arrive by 5:45 (I have to drive there) I was told they could not. Lazy, incompetent employees and horrendous customer service.

Great shop, above average management. I've been a medical marijuana patient since 2016 in Arizona and am impressed with what they have done here in Virginia so far. This particular company and shop is legit and goes above and beyond.Unfortunately, I got a faulty product from them through no fault of their own, and the supplier was being very difficult with the warranty. Even though the manager had already gotten off work and was at home, the staff called her and worked with her for almost an hour to figure out the situation.Well most people might be frustrated with waiting, I am immensely grateful that they fixed the situation.Aside from that, the medicine is superb quality. Highly tested and trusted. You may find cheaper product in Maryland or DC, but the quality is not the same. For example, a "10mg" edible in Maryland on the recreational side is not truly tested to the extent that a "5mg" edible is in Virginia, so the Virginia lower dose is actually more effective in practice.I'm able to get the concentrate I need here that helps me manage the pain from a slipped disc in my back, something that would normally require more serious pain medication.Highly recommend this company and specifically this location with their above average staff and managers who worked hard to solve a difficult problem. Today's experience left me feeling disappointed. While I understand the challenges of holiday rush, it's disheartening to encounter rudeness from the check-in staff. The person in charge seemed low on patience, which reflects on the overall professionalism. Which I believed is strained due to the major ongoing issue of staffing. it's evident that the root cause is the understaffing issue at the Alexandria location. Every visit involves apologies and mentions of being understaffed.Over the past three months, this has become a recurring problem, and it's concerning that it hasn't been addressed. The strain on the staff and the negative impact on customer experience are evident. A queue of 40+ orders with only a team of two people is not a sustainable situation. This issue extends beyond the store to the district leadership and overall management system.I urge upper management to prioritize resolving this ongoing understaffing issue. The mental strain on employees and the negative impression on customers are detrimental. Addressing this problem is crucial for maintaining and building positive customer relationships. Please, consider hiring more staff to improve the overall experience for everyone.
It's a little tricky to get to but the parking is easy once you find it and the personnel are friendly and helpful. Prices are steep in my opinion though honestly, I have nothing to compare them to-it's just what I have been told.
I place my order hours in advance, I get there and I'm literally the ONLY person there and the wait is always atheist an HOUR, every time, every time, worst customer service, gleaf in VA can have a line out the door an be at capacity inside and never takes more than 10 minutes and I don't have to pre order. Beyond hello is a joke!!!
Ive been here a few times now at all sorts of times and days. Every time has been a let down. Staff is clearly not excited to be there and are downright rude, even unwilling to assist in one instance i witnessed. The wait time is extensive, everytime, regarldless of preorder or in store order. I would recommend that anyone able to makes the journey to Takoma Wellness in DC. Worlds away in service and product AND prices.
The prices are a bit steep but with the amount of not so great quality floating around dc it’s worth it. The front desk staff is super super friendly. Ordering is very simple and easy and also they accept debit now.
The driver never looked at the notes like I was told he would and tried to make the delivery an hour before I was home. Then I come to the dispensary and am waiting aimlessly for 20 minutes before I am seen. I am told by a rude service person (Fhy) that they won't cancel and remake my order while I'm here and that I have to wait until the driver comes back. Horrible waste of time and terrible customer service by Fhy. Never using this ever again. Horrid.
The staff here is so wonderful and nice! They always greet me with a smile and remember me by face a couple by name. At any rate the products are wonderful and the staff is willing to answer any questions. Love the Alexandria location!
I am a new customer and was a bit nervous in my first visit. The folks at BH are wonderful and Ashley helped my figure out the best options for me. BH is very professional and have a easy process to get you in and out quickly.

My favorite Capricorn. Knows her subject knowledge, enjoys her job, knows the discounts, and is the Queen of suggestive selling. Definitely a prominent reflection of her management team. Corporate should definitely look into promoting her for her self taught drive and capabilities.

I've had a great experience everytime since my first visit. I love going since I feel very welcomed everytime. Great customer service, very necessary for this market.
Slightly better than the Reggie I would get from my friend in 10th grade, but the service was better back then. Unfortunately, despite every employee I’ve interacted with being a great 10/10 person, the system is flawed. It can often take up to two hours from the time you place a pickup order for your product to be ready. Although I don’t know how that is possible because I can literally order 10 pizzas and have them ready in less time. I don’t know what kind of regulatory red tape is clogging up the system that stops this company from being able to provide timely service, but hopefully it’s something we can move past in the near future. My other complaints include: high prices, low variety, and finally, oftentimes when I get a product here the “packaged on” date is from 6 months ago.

I have never been to a dispensary before. Everyone there was very nice and helpful. I will definitely be going back. The only downfall was, I went to pay and use a well known bank debit card, and was told the system wouldn't except it, so I had to pay cash. I would have purchased more if this wouldn't have happened. Cassandra was helpful. The establishment was very clean and nice. I wish they had more of an edible selection. A few I was interested in were out of stock
This place is absolutely amazing! The people are nice, it’s very clean and well decorated. There are comfy chairs to sit in while you’re waiting for your order to be prepped. There is a check-in process to learn and the staff will walk you though it. If you need any help at all just ask a staff member and they will be more than happy to help you. The prices are a little high but there are routine discounts and sales and the quality is very high. Can’t recommend enough!
I'm glad you're all nearby. Pretty decent selection and inventory. You (the customer) have to go at a good time.Also one of your employees, Cassie, has been working for BH as long as I have been going there (2 years or so) and she's good at getting the customer their things quickly (she understand's how the business operates) and that is a critical skill in commerce. It is employees like this (who don't waste my time) that keep me coming back. See you all soon!
I drove my bf an hour and a half to purchase his product at Beyond Hello. He arrived at 7:45 and was denied entry. The website, Google, and the dispensary’s front door say they are open until 8 PM. He was told that the store is ONLY open for pre-ordered products/pick up from 7:30-8 pm. No where on the website or the door was this explained.I wasted miles, time and gas to be told that they were already closed, before closing time.I gave 2 stars because the products are great.We will be going somewhere that remains open until closing hour for future purchases.Thanks.
Cassie and the entire staff were exceptional. First time visiting I needed a lot of help and Cassie guided me through the experience and made me comfortable while waiting. Entire staff was friendly and engaging.
In the past I have waited for the business to tell me my order is ready so cleared for pickup. This time it said my order is in process for my timefrme and if I have questions to call. So I went within my time slot and others were there for theirs. Someone within the sales room took our names and it went very quickly. Not sure if there was a glitch or if that's a new process, everything remains efficient and a wonderful experience.
Customer service was excellent. The two ladies in the front were really nice. They lady in the back was really nice also. Facility was nice and clean and had good vibes. They just need a larger selection of products but I was very pleased with my purchase.
