As someone who worked at this location and has been in the cannabis industry for years in multiple states this place is the worst dispensary I’ve ever seen. The regional manager Spencer and his mindless assistant are as crooked as they come and he cares more about his garbage rap career then doing his job. The weed is old, and because the business can’t afford to pay for the product that they sell and are always operating off IOU's often times they can keep stock on products that customers like. They put zero priority on having and keeping people that actually know stuff about weed in the building because they don’t know anything themselves. I was also told I was lucky to have got the job because I was straight and white…. While I truly miss the customers I can say I’m so happy to never have to walk in to this place again also for anybody that wants to look up lazlo Colorado cannabis on google the owner of this steaming pile of a business was shut down in Colorado for being a crook! This place doesn’t deserve to be in business whatsoever and the higher ups deserve to be in jail!Ps Spencer I hope I get the pleasure of reading your obituary sooner than later:)
Hi EveryoneCurtis here, assistant manager from the Buckman location. For anyone who might not know, myself and Q were working on May 5th when there was an attempted robbery at our location. Long story short, the two of us were physically unharmed and the would-be robber did not manage to steal any goods, though he did threaten us with his gun and assault one of our customers with it. I am upset that the attempted robbery happened, but obviously no one is responsible for the actions of that person except for themselves. That said, I am livid when I think about our work place's negligence leading up to this incident.Since before the robbery that happened to our other budtenders, J and C, on February 6, I have made my thoughts known to various members of our management team that I would feel a lot more secure and safe with a remote locking system. I know that other members of the Buckman team as well as people from other locations shared that sentiment. After the February 6th robbery, I continued to address this complaint to Spencer directly, and have been told more than once between now and then that a door lock would be installed in a matter of days. Now, two months later, our door still has not been installed properly, and last night that negligence led to Q and myself being in danger. Eden as a company is extremely lucky no one was seriously injured or killed, especially because at one point our customer wrestled with the would-be robber who had a loaded weapon in his hand. It's an understatement to say this is unacceptable... Quite frankly, this has been unacceptable since before I even started working at Eden. The "steps" toward prevention of robberies in the future have also been embarrassing, limited to rearranging the store and a four page robbery preparation and prevention layout that Spencer has gone over a single time with me. It is not my, or any of the other budtenders', jobs to come up with ways to keep us safe, but these "steps" are objectively and woefully inadequate... embarrassing, even.It is evident through our upper management's lack of communication with its budtenders, poor hiring and training practices, and plethora of internal dramas that this company simply does not prioritize its employees and customers, or take their safety seriously. This lack of care was reinforced when the management team members who showed up yesterday to respond spent their time and energy complaining to the police instead of checking in on the well-being of Q, myself, and our customer who was assaulted.Laszlo Bagi, our owner, who didn't say so much as to a full sentence to me, also mentioned that Eden has been robbed a total of 35 times. The fact that there has not even been so much as a light installed above the door so that budtenders can see people before they enter is more evidence that the upper management doesn't care about us. They seem more concerned with pinching pennies than creating a safe and inviting storefront for customers and employees. This is ironic, because if money was spent to secure a safe work environment, we wouldn't get robbed every other month, and our employee turnover rate wouldn't be so high.I don't have the time or the energy to elaborate further right now, but I selfishly want to say this to our owner: Lazslo, the way you run your businesses is disgusting and absolutely unethical. You are scummy and disingenuous, and everyone who works for you acknowledges those qualities. Honestly, I just don't think you're a good human being, and I don't personally care, but I expect that your life is and will continue to be unpleasant, because YOU are unpleasant. I don't want to work for you any more.Peace, I quit.Curtis
