wrote a review and the owner told me to contact them via email, that was two weeks ago and two emails sent and the only emails I received were that they received my email and would get back to me. This corporate office is just as dishonest and untruthful as the employees at the white plains location, be careful with this specific location and company because they will be nowhere to be found if you have an issue, which is criminal because it’s a medical dispensary not a hotdog truck parked on the side of the road. No wonder their company is hemorrhaging money and their stock price is under 50 cents. NY state should investigate this company because they have shown their true greedy colors, and there’s no way they’re following the NYS cannabis laws, they operate nothing like Curaleaf, Etain, and Verilife, which all have live customer service to help you, not just automated AI email grift, Etain is literally a few blocks from this place, it’s all female owned and a much better product, atmosphere, and customer service, Curaleaf, and Verilife are great to, further away, but they offer free delivery

I’ve seen some awful reviews for this location and I’m here to tell you it’s all NONSENSE. Just people that can’t understand the theory of supply and demand. They are kind, polite and extremely helpful. No one has ever judged my orders or me for that matter. And most importantly they give me the most courteous service. I personally use it for chronic pain. They never disappoint and always answer any questions I may have and they do it politely. From reception, to the doctors to the dispensers… AMAZING AND HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Thank you for your amazing service. ❤️🙏🏻 IT IS A VERY DISCRETE LOCATION AND CLEAN. I am not one to leave reviews until absolutely necessary.I will get right to it,upon not being able to place my order they pushed it back a few day which was the first red flag.Upon arriving at Vireo white plains,the kid at the front desk was rude and short with me not very welcoming at all,can be intimidating to newer card holders.The biggest issue came when I was paying for the order it came to $125 not very much medication ,the pharmacist came out and I felt like the judgement started as he was telling me I am good for over a month don't try to put another in again.I did not understand the small caps neither does the state they are looking into the irregularities within Vireo health,I'm under the impression they are already in trouble legally hence the caps and the strict attitude

The first dispensary ever to refuse my order due to a recent purchase at another dispensary completely unaffiliated with them. I had no idea that was even possible.No worries now that there is a 100% legit recreational dispensary literally 5 minutes away right near the City Center.Staff acts like they're doing you a favor and set arbitrary limits on what registered patients can purchase contrary to New York State's publicly posted guidelines.Cannabis is a cash crop that practically sells itself and please, for the love of the highest power, stop calling yourselves pharmacists when you aren't even budtenders.I wonder if their arrogance is due to being one of the two licensed (medical) dispensaries in Westchester? That's about to change very soon!Every time I would place an order here, I would anticipate the phone call shortly after from one of the staff to inform me that my order cannot be approved. Since nobody from Vireo can clearly explain the logic to their "rules", I called the NYS Office of Cannabis Management and got the information right from the source.

Pretty much the same issue as all the other reviewers. They cancel orders without contacting you first. This is the only location that denies you for purchasing at other dispensaries. Their queens location doesn't have the same issue at all. They make it extremely difficult to pick up your medication. I won't be patronizing this place any longer and urge everyone else to do the same.

Even a rep from the Queens location said to not even bother with them because they know they do that. The fact another Vireo location is telling their customers about how incompetent their other White Plains location is says more than enough about how the business is run there. They are very convenient to my place of work, but with convenience comes a headache. They are so strict on the amount you are allowed. I called the state and they have no idea why. I told my prescribing physician and he can’t understand it either. So I found a medical place that limits you to 3oz a month and their customer service is excellent. You need a medical card but their way more better to deal with if you don’t need the headache.

While this place is conveniently located near shops, restaurants and isn’t far from i287, this place has a lot of kinks to work out if they want to remain open.Sure, they have a decent variety of products ranging from flower, vape cartridges, edibles and have some enticing sales, but what good is any of that when they tightly restrict what registered patients can purchase? Contrary to New York State guidelines, they set and enforce arbitrary policies which they can’t clearly explain.Due to me taking advantage of a good sale one month ago, they refused my order of a buy two, get one for $1 vape sale. I even explained that cannabis helps with my migraines since I am allergic to a lot of medications. Despite my last purchase being from last month, the earliest that I can order anything is July 2 which is over a month away.If you do purchase anything from here, be sure to check the package date and expiration date - especially on sale items (some of the flower is 6+ months old and anyone who knows will tell you how that can negatively affect the quality and effectiveness) yet they sell it medically. This place is not the only dispensary in Westchester and with more to come in the future, I hope Vireo gets it together. In the meantime, thanks for sending one of your “patients” to an adult use dispensary.

Terrible. They don't pick up the phone. Rarely can you order something and get it same day. They limit the amount you are able to buy. The vapes they sell clog often leading to waste. Customer service is non assistant. Only thing good about this place is it's location which doesn't mean much when you can't buy what you want.

Why can you not grow flower that is more than 20%? That in itself is pathetic vs your competitors.Second, the refill issue. You are interpreting the law wrong. Period. No other dispensary enforces arbitrary made up rules like you do. The fact that you DOUBLE DOWN and refuse to change despite pretty much every review complaining about the same thing - and funny how none of the other dispensaries have faced problems from violating this "rule." Be sure to order before going online so that it's filled and ready and you will get notifications that it is ready if there is a problem they will call you. Probably best to bring cash if it's your first time there are other ways to pay like debit and Cannapay but if you don't have canopy debit may not always be available. So just follow the procedures produce the documents your asked and don't expect to rush through the door and you know they treat you great. There are certain discounts for compassionate reasons and you also earn points for every dollar you earned so is that up and they can go up to like 2500 points which equals l $125 savings or something of that nature. Very clean very professional pharmacists etc. I'd recommend it.

Had a very positive purchase with Vireo today. I had technical trouble and they actually did it for me. I don't know where else to put this but I was thinking if a group of us that might be an Aetna Medicare patient would get together and chip in for a lawyer and sue the insurance company that we will definitely win. The laws were updated to allow a 60 day supply but they refuse to sell me an 1/8 today because I bough one 6 days ago. My prescription clearly states that 3.5 is only a 3-4 day supply. Not my first issue tune with this here but will def be my last. No other place has done this.What’s more is the fact that they lie and say it’s the state not approving when that is not the case, since every other place approves it. I will be filing a complaint with as this clearly causes proper access to a controlled medical prescription.EDIT: Over a week later, no one has reached out.To put access into a perspective you may understand. My 30 day supply of epilepsy medication is renewable after 23 days. Why is that? Because running out of medication could have negative consequences. That’s the reason they allow the possession and purchase of up to 60 days in NY. Not everyone can make every day or every week for that matter, especially considering the scarcity of dispensaries in this state. Not everyone drives. People have to go to work. This is why access is important.But also, blatantly lying to customers and blaming the state for your own failures is awful and exactly the reason why NY shouldn’t have let large companies take over the medical industry in this state. You don’t really seem to care about NY patients.

WOW! What an amazing experience! The staff at Vireo White Plains was on point. Everyone there was so friendly and knowledgeable. I was able to get a consult same day I called and spoke to a pharmacist. This was the first time I was really able to go over my medical conditions with a true marijuana specialist. The pharmacist provided me with various options and showed how I could save money on my medications since its not covered by insurance.I have gone to various other dispensaries in NY and this one is my new favorite spot! This place needs help! Go to another place! There is discrimination and bias held with patients as their system extends the length of time medicine lasts you, compared to other licensed dispensaries. Currently patients should be able to have a 60 day supply, and this is the ONLY dispensary that does not abide by this State mandated supply amount. This has happened over seven times for me, which prohibits you from getting anymore medicine to alleviate your issues. Vireo Health, I hope you can also show some respect towards patients, and not be so disrespectful when talking to patients/customers. This is the main service failure! It's so sad and frustrating to hear a pharmacist(TJ) or manager(Alicia) patronize me and brainwash my understanding of the NYS supply law, and try to manipulate the system that effects a patient's ability to access medicine. EDIT: was 5 stars, back to 1. Now I remembered why I left. Bought $400 worth of Etain lozenges. As soon as I got the package, I opened one of the boxes, they were melted. I opened a 2nd box, melted. Couldn't get the plastic off, choked on plastic. Long story short, they claim my house is too hot (77°). Etain, the company claims there is NO WAY these could have melted in my home (I sent photos to bothb Vireo claims it's my failt, Etain says absolutely not and they don'tknow why Vireo won'treplace them). I've had these very lozenges in my pocket before and never seen melting like this. Their pharmacist wrote this:"Hi Allison,This is what the lozenges are supposed to look like. If you keep your house at 77 degrees it may be too warm for them I would recommend storing them in the refrigerator, or a cooler space."Best,VHNYNo...no they aren't supposed to look like this, and Etain confirmed it. Vireo will not replace them or refund my money so I can buy them elsewhere. Also, the box says not to store them below 50°. Refrigerators should be at 40°.Stay away if you dont want products that might have their integrity damaged by a dispensary that doesn't care about it's disabled & sick patients.

Do NOT waste your time or money at this place. I ordered the vaporizer starter pack that is $99 and comes with three different cartridges. NONE of the cartridges arrived full. They barely had any liquid in them and I asked for a replacement. They kindly replaced them to only give me cartridges with even less liquid in them. The excuse I got is that they arrived "sealed" and cannot open to check for me. I also received another response saying it was ok that there was barely any liquid because it is actually there, even if it appears empty? Not sketchy at all... all in all I learned my lesson to do my research before making a purchase this size. I hope this helps people in the future!

Vireo's online customer fulfillment system is not up to the task, for a number of different reasons. You can't trust that an order that was placed for delivery and confirmed will actually be delivered.It started with routine order placed online, for delivery. Vireo's order system accepted and confirmed the order, even though (unbeknownst to me at the time) my medical card on file with them had expired. The scheduled delivery window came and went with no delivery, so I went back online to check the order. It turns out their website has no direct way to check an existing order or get order details. The only way I could find to get to an existing order is to start a new one, starting from scratch with a zip code, then clicking through to a product menu. On the menu page there finally is a "login " button. After finally figuring out how to get into my account I was able to determine that the order had been canceled due to an expired card. I had received no communication from them that the order had been canceled, either by text or email. I then called the telephone number listed on the website. No one answered and I was asked to leave a message. I did that but didn't get a call back, so after an hour I called again and left another message. I also emailed them at the address given on their website, inquiring as to why the order wasn't delivered. I did get a reply to the email, stating only that that they had no delivery scheduled for me today. There was no mention of an existing order being canceled. So I called yet again and left another message. Someone did finally call, and I was able to get the card info updated. (One would think that I could do that online but that basic capability isn't present in their system either.) I complained to the phone rep that their order system was really bad, and she agreed with me!The bottom line is that their order system is poor in key respects. It accepts orders when it shouldn't, cancels them without notification to the customer, has convoluted navigation, lacks basic account management capability, and lacks capable and timely customer service. Don't trust that your order will be processed correctly at Vireo!

He seems to not be able to answer my question so Instead gets an attitude and repeats himself multiple times giving no answer to my question and then hangs up. I asked about the 2000mg syringe which I have purchased many times before, but then says I need to restart at 1000mg? I have been purchasing from them for over a year. I purchased the red 250 mg vape pen from Vireo a few times. This vape clogs, lasts a short time and leaves so much residue inside the cartridge that cannot be used. When I’ve purchased a Theory product (or any other products elsewhere)I have the opposite experience. Also once called because when I first opened the box, the cart had leaked. They said I would have to come back and show them to see if they could fix it. How do you fix that? Lastly, after being questioned for 10 minutes by 3 staff members about what I do with their profits, a staff member asked if he could buy the edibles that I make with the flower I apparently buy too much of. Have to laugh at this point

The vapor oil with more thc has been very successful treating my PTSD and insomnia!Now living with post covid POTS, I could not live without. Do not trust this company, they advertise one product and sell you another. For a while they had one variety of thc oil although they refuse to say what strain it was easy to deduce it was an indica. It was great for sleep. Then they changed the oil with no warning. The next three nights I couldn't figure out what was keeping me awake. Try Columbia Care in Brooklyn or Verilife in the Bronx, they also deliver and they will tell you whether it's indica/sativa/hybrid. They have more sales and better prices/products all around. I have been going to viero health whiteplains. I buy the bulk oil to vape. They switched to a new oil that is do thick it does not work with their vape pens. I bought three different vape pens and none of them work. I called and emailed viero health with no response. I have spent alot of money buying their products and when you run into a problem they dont want to help. I bought the vape pen for the vape oil they sell and it dont work and they dont want to fix the problem. I will have to find a new place.

Vireo doesn't just hold their own branded items with a option of four different company's with similar products. All products have a variety of low to high CBD to THC & low to high THC to CBD options for whichever type of consumption the patient desires. Employees are also fairly informative making sure the patient is more informed about products that work best for the prescribing condition. When Vireo Health first opened up I wrote a negative review because of the prices being so high. I'm very happy to write a positive review as they have lowered their prices a great deal, have free delivery which is amazing when your bed ridden from disease and the delivery workers are very kind and pleasant to deal with. Also if your having trouble financially they give you a 10% discount to help those of us who cant work. Now all we need to do is get New York to let us smoke flower with all the negative reviews i see about vaporizers exploding I think its a safer choice. This corporate office is just as dishonest and untruthful as the employees at the white plains location, be careful with this specific location and company because they will be nowhere to be found if you have an issue, which is criminal because it’s a medical dispensary not a hotdog truck parked on the side of the road. No wonder their company is hemorrhaging money and their stock price is under 50 cents. NY state should investigate this company because they have shown their true greedy colors, and there’s no way they’re following the NYS cannabis laws, they operate nothing like Curaleaf, Etain, and Verilife, which all have live customer service to help you, not just automated AI email grift, Etain is literally a few blocks from this place, it’s all female owned and a much better product, atmosphere, and customer service, Curaleaf, and Verilife are great to, further away, but they offer free delivery

I had no idea that was even possible.No worries now that there is a 100% legit recreational dispensary literally 5 minutes away right near the City Center.Staff acts like they're doing you a favor and set arbitrary limits on what registered patients can purchase contrary to New York State's publicly posted guidelines.Cannabis is a cash crop that practically sells itself and please, for the love of the highest power, stop calling yourselves pharmacists when you aren't even budtenders.I wonder if their arrogance is due to being one of the two licensed (medical) dispensaries in Westchester? I told my prescribing physician and he can’t understand it either. So I found a medical place that limits you to 3oz a month and their customer service is excellent.     While this place is conveniently located near shops, restaurants and isn’t far from i287, this place has a lot of kinks to work out if they want to remain open.Sure, they have a decent variety of products ranging from flower, vape cartridges, edibles and have some enticing sales, but what good is any of that when they tightly restrict what registered patients can purchase? Contrary to New York State guidelines, they set and enforce arbitrary policies which they can’t clearly explain.Due to me taking advantage of a good sale one month ago, they refused my order of a buy two, get one for $1 vape sale. I even explained that cannabis helps with my migraines since I am allergic to a lot of medications. Despite my last purchase being from last month, the earliest that I can order anything is July 2 which is over a month away.If you do purchase anything from here, be sure to check the package date and expiration date - especially on sale items (some of the flower is 6+ months old and anyone who knows will tell you how that can negatively affect the quality and effectiveness) yet they sell it medically. This place is not the only dispensary in Westchester and with more to come in the future, I hope Vireo gets it together. No other place has done this.What’s more is the fact that they lie and say it’s the state not approving when that is not the case, since every other place approves it. I will be filing a complaint with as this clearly causes proper access to a controlled medical prescription.EDIT: Over a week later, no one has reached out.To put access into a perspective you may understand. My 30 day supply of epilepsy medication is renewable after 23 days. Why is that? Because running out of medication could have negative consequences. That’s the reason they allow the possession and purchase of up to 60 days in NY. Not everyone can make every day or every week for that matter, especially considering the scarcity of dispensaries in this state. Not everyone drives. People have to go to work. This is why access is important.But also, blatantly lying to customers and blaming the state for your own failures is awful and exactly the reason why NY shouldn’t have let large companies take over the medical industry in this state. You don’t really seem to care about NY patients.

I was able to get a consult same day I called and spoke to a pharmacist. This was the first time I was really able to go over my medical conditions with a true marijuana specialist. There is discrimination and bias held with patients as their system extends the length of time medicine lasts you, compared to other licensed dispensaries. Currently patients should be able to have a 60 day supply, and this is the ONLY dispensary that does not abide by this State mandated supply amount. This has happened over seven times for me, which prohibits you from getting anymore medicine to alleviate your issues. Vireo Health, I hope you can also show some respect towards patients, and not be so disrespectful when talking to patients/customers. This is the main service failure!     EDIT: was 5 stars, back to 1. Now I remembered why I left. Bought $400 worth of Etain lozenges. As soon as I got the package, I opened one of the boxes, they were melted. I opened a 2nd box, melted. Couldn't get the plastic off, choked on plastic. Long story short, they claim my house is too hot (77°). Etain, the company claims there is NO WAY these could have melted in my home (I sent photos to bothb Vireo claims it's my failt, Etain says absolutely not and they don'tknow why Vireo won'treplace them). I've had these very lozenges in my pocket before and never seen melting like this. Their pharmacist wrote this:"Hi Allison,This is what the lozenges are supposed to look like. If you keep your house at 77 degrees it may be too warm for them I would recommend storing them in the refrigerator, or a cooler space."Best,VHNYNo...no they aren't supposed to look like this, and Etain confirmed it. Vireo will not replace them or refund my money so I can buy them elsewhere. Also, the box says not to store them below 50°. Refrigerators should be at 40°.Stay away if you dont want products that might have their integrity damaged by a dispensary that doesn't care about it's disabled & sick patients.

They barely had any liquid in them and I asked for a replacement. They kindly replaced them to only give me cartridges with even less liquid in them. The excuse I got is that they arrived "sealed" and cannot open to check for me. I also received another response saying it was ok that there was barely any liquid because it is actually there, even if it appears empty? Not sketchy at all... all in all I learned my lesson to do my research before making a purchase this size. I hope this helps people in the future!

    Vireo's online customer fulfillment system is not up to the task, for a number of different reasons. You can't trust that an order that was placed for delivery and confirmed will actually be delivered.It started with routine order placed online, for delivery. Vireo's order system accepted and confirmed the order, even though (unbeknownst to me at the time) my medical card on file with them had expired. The scheduled delivery window came and went with no delivery, so I went back online to check the order. It turns out their website has no direct way to check an existing order or get order details. The only way I could find to get to an existing order is to start a new one, starting from scratch with a zip code, then clicking through to a product menu. On the menu page there finally is a "login " button. After finally figuring out how to get into my account I was able to determine that the order had been canceled due to an expired card. I had received no communication from them that the order had been canceled, either by text or email. I then called the telephone number listed on the website. No one answered and I was asked to leave a message. I did that but didn't get a call back, so after an hour I called again and left another message. I also emailed them at the address given on their website, inquiring as to why the order wasn't delivered. I did get a reply to the email, stating only that that they had no delivery scheduled for me today. There was no mention of an existing order being canceled. So I called yet again and left another message. Someone did finally call, and I was able to get the card info updated. (One would think that I could do that online but that basic capability isn't present in their system either.) I complained to the phone rep that their order system was really bad, and she agreed with me!The bottom line is that their order system is poor in key respects. It accepts orders when it shouldn't, cancels them without notification to the customer, has convoluted navigation, lacks basic account management capability, and lacks capable and timely customer service. Don't trust that your order will be processed correctly at Vireo!

    I purchased the red 250 mg vape pen from Vireo a few times. This vape clogs, lasts a short time and leaves so much residue inside the cartridge that cannot be used. When I’ve purchased a Theory product (or any other products elsewhere)I have the opposite experience. Also once called because when I first opened the box, the cart had leaked. They said I would have to come back and show them to see if they could fix it. How do you fix that?     When Vireo Health first opened up I wrote a negative review because of the prices being so high. I'm very happy to write a positive review as they have lowered their prices a great deal, have free delivery which is amazing when your bed ridden from disease and the delivery workers are very kind and pleasant to deal with. Also if your having trouble financially they give you a 10% discount to help those of us who cant work. Now all we need to do is get New York to let us smoke flower with all the negative reviews i see about vaporizers exploding I think its a safer choice. Ive never had a bowl or a joint, or blunt wrap explode on me.

    Product is really good! My pain has been a bother lately, Don’t like to take pain killers or over the counter meds! My first week on this product (distilled oils and lozenge) felt great! Canceled my cortisone shot appointment! Staff is really friendly and very easy to work with! Beginning in medical marijuana medicine this place is great! They deliver!

    I have been to the White Plains office twice now, and both times I was treated exceptionally well. They took the time to counsel me and to answer all my questions. I was very nervous at first but the employees are professional and friendly. For my second visit I ordered online and received a call back to confirm everything and to ask me how I was doing with my pain management. The thing is, I felt like they really wanted to know because they cared, not just because I was a customer. Thank you to Vireo for treating me like a person instead of a number.

    I am grateful for my medical certification to begin with. Vireo, has been not only a God sent; but the staff is very private and professional with everyone. Questions are carefully answered. The office is clean and quiet making it comfortable at least in my opinion. I am very happy with not only the service but with their product as well. I wish they sold concentrates though, sometimes my pains are so bad I feel like only a concentrate will work because of potency. Thank you Vireo.

New for '19????: They've introduced full integration of the "Can Pay" debit card based, mobile fintech/payments app (technically it's a "lite" app- aka an icon on your ???? home screen/app list which launches a dedicated default browser tab, so very minimal storage space used by the app on your phone) for both in person & delivery transactions- set it up so all you do to pay is tap to open the app, enter your PIN & have the Vireo rep either scan the QR code on your ????'s screen or manually enter the one-time authorization code shown. Super easy, no ????(cash) required payments ????❗ Also newly available this year is the ???? "Etain" line of medical marijuana offerings...????
