I have been a patient here for 4-5 years. The constant transitioning to something new seems to take away from the experience. Within the last two weeks, the dispensary went from a recreational/ messy feel that gave me anxiety back to the medical dispensary vibe with professionalism.No one should be coloring at the front desk. Period. Those people happened to give me wrong information re: caregiver card, which as a disabled person/ brain injury survivor- frustrated me. They told me my prescriber had to do it when in fact it’s the same as it’s always been. You do it online.You can be nicer than nice but if this is a medical dispensary- you have patients NOT customers. I have a strong idea what it takes to be NY state legal. You need to know the protocol. This should be a hub of relief for patients whom are dealing with multiple ailments.They did get it together, though! Seems like they got their mojo back the last two weeks. I love the new brands with higher THC content. I love not hearing heavy metal as I wait for my order. And it’s always great to see Cindy who knows my situation and makes sure to make me feel welcomed and in the loop. She’s an OG and it’s really helpful for me because she makes me feel at ease. Maybe it’s about having staff of all ages, as it helps the older generation be more comfortable in asking questions.Shout out to Chris for having a tight system and a great recall!Hope to see more great ideas like weekly sales and other engagements that make sense! Seed and shame should be the brands name. Your royal head ache really sucks. No sealed tops smells like hay or nothing. Use a little of that plastic from your 60 gram container holding 3.5 grams to make a top and seal it. High prices even for NY. Should have better sales and overall prices in a market that is getting more competitive everyday. Super friendly security guard and ladies at the front desk every time. I go here on occasion and have had good experiences here and is closest to where I live. The pharmacist today was rude and very unhappy and acted as if I was being difficult and disrespectful. I was trying to be nice and appreciative. They Didn’t really seem to like there job or care about customer service. Kept rolling there eyes and telling me how much buttons they had to press and the computer screen had to change when I was deciding what I want. Didn’t want to talk at all about products or my needs. Not interested in saving me money. Most of all made me very nervous and uncomfortable. I have never felt this way in any dispensary and I have been to dozens. I don’t want to single any employee out and we all have bad days. But it’s Better to drive the extra 45 min extra to Sunnyside or the botanist 1/2-3/4 the price and all the pharmacists are all happy to share there knowledge and to spend time with you getting you the best deal and medicine you need. Let’s hope it gets better. Columbia care maybe it’s the work environment or the stress you put on employees and the computer system needs to be changed or something I can’t see but I want this so badly to be my spot instead of all the extra driving.

Arrived at 530 and was denied because they called me a new patient? I've shopped at other medical store but some how in there eyes I'm a new patient. This is only med dispensary for 1h 20 mins . Needing my medicine and going without doesn't work so it ends up feeding the grey market because you close early,you don't wanna make $$, and you treat your patients like they are just a stoner needing to smoke not a patient in need . First and last time will never recommend this place .

Edit: while I still believe it is too difficult to reach this office for a community that obviously have chronic medical conditions and are going to need to call ahead or schedule deliveries, if you go on off hours, everyone is consistently friendly and very helpful when you are there. After going at 1030, shortly after they opened on a weekday, my opinion improved. I love Columbia Care in Riverhead. They have sales all the time. Really. All the time. They carry flower from many cultivators as well! Staff is very helpful, respectful and pleasant.I've been going there for a few years now and I typically place my order ahead of time. I think that Cindy , behind the counter, has personally helped me with suggestions and always gives my son like 6 lollipops. He loves her too. Final thought. Great medical dispensary with a great selection of everything you can think of.

I love Columbia Care! their level of professionalism mixed with just plain friendly, creates a very open, welcoming good vibe for all. I’ve never been disappointed going there by anything they’ve ever done I will say that the powder marijuana powder is nowhere near as great as the whole flower, but is do yourself a favor and get the flower, it is expensive but it’s worth it or else I would need so much more pain medicine, which is cheap but not good for me and my body, like MM!

Been coming here for about a year, love the product and most of the staff except for one register lady who is incredibly rude. I was waiting patiently for over 20 minutes and they served someone ELSE who came in TEN minutes after me, so i obviously asked why he was served when he came in much later than I did, and received nothing but a nasty attitude from this lady. Talked the manager but nothing can excuse the horrible service.

Everyone else working there is kind except the Manager, hope you don't get him to serve you! he has 0 tolerance when its your first time and you ask questions that naturally you need to know if you are not familiar with CBD OR THC he will trick you into buying what he wants to get rid off b/c of the expiration dates / he will give you the wrong thing for your condition/you wasted your money and he does not care, as simple as that, is who he is! check the expiration dates please! and do your own homework as to what is good for your health or ask your doctor! I Kept saying i need only CBD absolutely don't depend on him to give you any logit answers he only seem to just want to get rid of the old merchandise, he made me buy 3 wrong items for my condition, and i have to through all out! just be aware of that place go prepared and when you do check the exp dates as well, that's my word of advise to save you from wasting your money on the wrong item needed for you particular condition! he kept showing me how he cant take anymore questions/ gave me totally the wrong meds /and the following day he pretend that he did advise this and that, when in fact he did not! example 1/ i asked for a lotion and he never mentioned that he carry's 2 different strengths he chose which one to give me that had the short exp date! i will say no more i regret not knowing things before stepping my foot in that establishment!

The staff has good intentions. The quality of the product is subpar, and nothing special. I'm not sure if it is a State, or dispensary related situation. But medical marijuana patients, deserve better than this. Over 300 an ounce for shake, and 70 for .5 vapes. I can't even afford my medications, and now there's a concern over the quality. Where are the data sheets, that specify the details of what you are consuming. You can tell the program hasn't reached its full potential yet.

Staff is friendly but the selection is just awful. Their own brand of flower is some of the worst I have ever seen in years, dispensaries and street cannabis included. It’s old, dry, brown, and full of stems and seeds… whether you smoke it or vape it the taste is foul and the effects are minimal to none at times. Luckily now they carry Curaleaf flower which is much better but only a few strains and not the ground versions. They get away with the poor quality flower as the nearest competition is 46 miles away, hopefully new dispensaries will open up in the area and push them to improve. For now, there is much to be desired in comparison to Sunnyside and Curaleaf.

My fav pharmacy around here, hands down. Professional atmosphere, respectful and knowledgeable staff, as well as a convenient location. The only thing is some of their prices are 🤔 I try to be realistic… soon NY will have more competitive prices like other places. Columbia Care kind of has a monopoly on the “east end” of Long Island. Also, their selection isn’t that great, ground flower is trash, and the concentrate is way too expensive for what it is. But, all that aside, they’re GREAT. They medically talk to you, like a patient and not a customer browsing a retail store. No stupid questions 🙃 I like the ambiance enough to pay the premium prices for consistency 👍🏾

Very low quality product. After visiting Medical dispensaries around the USA.....this might be the lowest quality flower products available. Unreal, that this corporation uses the Legal system to maintain a monopoly....Any shop allowed to compete with them would blow them out of the water, in both product and service. Ground A+ buds from a barista was what i imagined, a sealed container that was ground 2 months ago was what i got. Average wait time 20min. Sick patients that require medicine really deserve better.

Very helpful security and staff, it was my first time to the dispensary and was unsure of how things were run and they were very nice. Even though products were nice and staff were kind, the receptionist was very unprofessional and rude and was complaining about me to the other employees due to me not knowing how things were run. However, it was literallymy first time and my doctor did not inform me about making appointments, not my fault. I even tried to call the receptionist to talk to her prior to arriving so I wouldn’t cause issues but she did not answer the phone and then complained when I was I’ll informed. They finally opened on Saturday’s and yet each time I go they tell me “nope we aren’t doing anymore orders unless you ordered online previously and if not oh well” they won’t deliver to any address other than your house which is fine if you’re home during the week but if you’re like me you HAVE TO WORK!!! Each time I've visited, the staff has been great! Always sweet and I really love the convenience of the credit card.Unfortunately, I've had 2 vapes leak so far, which they do not replace, so it sometimes feels like a gamble and I've wasted quite a bit of of money. Because of this, I try to get by without since I rarely can afford my prescriptions in the first place.Aside being a bit more pricey than other dispensaries, I feel they offer less variety as well (though, to be fair they are definitely expanding!)I am considering using the Carle Place Curaleaf dispensary more and seeing if the gas milage is worth the lower prices and product options. Hopeful that as things progress CC will improve! 🙂

I know nothing about this product and have no prior experience, but i felt comfortable asking him simple/silly questions. The main complaint is: this is very expensive, not covered by insurance, and is a cash-only business.

Kept rolling there eyes and telling me how much buttons they had to press and the computer screen had to change when I was deciding what I want. Didn’t want to talk at all about products or my needs. Not interested in saving me money. Most of all made me very nervous and uncomfortable. I have never felt this way in any dispensary and I have been to dozens. I don’t want to single any employee out and we all have bad days. But it’s Better to drive the extra 45 min extra to Sunnyside or the botanist 1/2-3/4 the price and all the pharmacists are all happy to share there knowledge and to spend time with you getting you the best deal and medicine you need. Let’s hope it gets better. Columbia care maybe it’s the work environment or the stress you put on employees and the computer system needs to be changed or something I can’t see but I want this so badly to be my spot instead of all the extra driving.

    Arrived at 530 and was denied because they called me a new patient? I've shopped at other medical store but some how in there eyes I'm a new patient. This is only med dispensary for 1h 20 mins . Needing my medicine and going without doesn't work so it ends up feeding the grey market because you close early,you don't wanna make $$, and you treat your patients like they are just a stoner needing to smoke not a patient in need . First and last time will never recommend this place .

After going at 1030, shortly after they opened on a weekday, my opinion improved.     I love Columbia Care in Riverhead. They have sales all the time. Really. All the time. They carry flower from many cultivators as well! Staff is very helpful, respectful and pleasant.I've been going there for a few years now and I typically place my order ahead of time. I think that Cindy , behind the counter, has personally helped me with suggestions and always gives my son like 6 lollipops. He loves her too. Final thought. Great medical dispensary with a great selection of everything you can think of.

    I love Columbia Care! their level of professionalism mixed with just plain friendly, creates a very open, welcoming good vibe for all. I’ve never been disappointed going there by anything they’ve ever done I will say that the powder marijuana powder is nowhere near as great as the whole flower, but is do yourself a favor and get the flower, it is expensive but it’s worth it or else I would need so much more pain medicine, which is cheap but not good for me and my body, like MM!

I bought 3 different strains, all grown by Columbia Care.Each one was packaged in mid 2021 and expires in 1 month. Each one is bone dry and each has a strong odor of decaying plant matter, not far off from a bag of fallen leaves and yard debris you'd collect in the fall.The product is so weak that I bet you'd be harming your health with the quantity one needs to ingest to get a noticeable effect.You don't even have to take my word for it. Just compare them to ANY other dispensary and the insulting lack of quality will be apparent.

I was waiting patiently for over 20 minutes and they served someone ELSE who came in TEN minutes after me, so i obviously asked why he was served when he came in much later than I did, and received nothing but a nasty attitude from this lady.     Everyone else working there is kind except the Manager, hope you don't get him to serve you! he has 0 tolerance when its your first time and you ask questions that naturally you need to know if you are not familiar with CBD OR THC he will trick you into buying what he wants to get rid off b/c of the expiration dates / he will give you the wrong thing for your condition/you wasted your money and he does not care, as simple as that, is who he is! check the expiration dates please! and do your own homework as to what is good for your health or ask your doctor! I Kept saying i need only CBD absolutely don't depend on him to give you any logit answers he only seem to just want to get rid of the old merchandise, he made me buy 3 wrong items for my condition, and i have to through all out! just be aware of that place go prepared and when you do check the exp dates as well, that's my word of advise to save you from wasting your money on the wrong item needed for you particular condition! he kept showing me how he cant take anymore questions/ gave me totally the wrong meds /and the following day he pretend that he did advise this and that, when in fact he did not! example 1/ i asked for a lotion and he never mentioned that he carry's 2 different strengths he chose which one to give me that had the short exp date! i will say no more i regret not knowing things before stepping my foot in that establishment!

    The staff has good intentions. The quality of the product is subpar, and nothing special. I'm not sure if it is a State, or dispensary related situation. But medical marijuana patients, deserve better than this. Over 300 an ounce for shake, and 70 for .5 vapes. I can't even afford my medications, and now there's a concern over the quality. Where are the data sheets, that specify the details of what you are consuming. You can tell the program hasn't reached its full potential yet.

    Staff is friendly but the selection is just awful. Their own brand of flower is some of the worst I have ever seen in years, dispensaries and street cannabis included. It’s old, dry, brown, and full of stems and seeds… whether you smoke it or vape it the taste is foul and the effects are minimal to none at times. Luckily now they carry Curaleaf flower which is much better but only a few strains and not the ground versions. They get away with the poor quality flower as the nearest competition is 46 miles away, hopefully new dispensaries will open up in the area and push them to improve. For now, there is much to be desired in comparison to Sunnyside and Curaleaf.

    My fav pharmacy around here, hands down. Professional atmosphere, respectful and knowledgeable staff, as well as a convenient location. The only thing is some of their prices are 🤔 I try to be realistic… soon NY will have more competitive prices like other places. Columbia Care kind of has a monopoly on the “east end” of Long Island. Also, their selection isn’t that great, ground flower is trash, and the concentrate is way too expensive for what it is. But, all that aside, they’re GREAT. They medically talk to you, like a patient and not a customer browsing a retail store. No stupid questions 🙃 I like the ambiance enough to pay the premium prices for consistency 👍🏾

Unreal, that this corporation uses the Legal system to maintain a monopoly....Any shop allowed to compete with them would blow them out of the water, in both product and service. Ground A+ buds from a barista was what i imagined, a sealed container that was ground 2 months ago was what i got. Average wait time 20min. Sick patients that require medicine really deserve better.

A medical patient needs help and you let over a week go by or you ignored all of last weeks and responded to today. They refuse to refund the 2 vape oils even though they let a week go by. I am done with them poor knowledge, unprofessional, not customer friendly or caring whatsoever. They just want your money. If you need medical marijuana needs go to The Botanist in Farmingdale, NY .     Very helpful security and staff, it was my first time to the dispensary and was unsure of how things were run and they were very nice. Even though products were nice and staff were kind, the receptionist was very unprofessional and rude and was complaining about me to the other employees due to me not knowing how things were run. However, it was literallymy first time and my doctor did not inform me about making appointments, not my fault. I even tried to call the receptionist to talk to her prior to arriving so I wouldn’t cause issues but she did not answer the phone and then complained when I was I’ll informed. Really nice welcome.But I can’t wait to try my products and am happy they took the time to make sure I got the right products.

    Each time I've visited, the staff has been great! Always sweet and I really love the convenience of the credit card.Unfortunately, I've had 2 vapes leak so far, which they do not replace, so it sometimes feels like a gamble and I've wasted quite a bit of of money. Because of this, I try to get by without since I rarely can afford my prescriptions in the first place.Aside being a bit more pricey than other dispensaries, I feel they offer less variety as well (though, to be fair they are definitely expanding!)I am considering using the Carle Place Curaleaf dispensary more and seeing if the gas milage is worth the lower prices and product options. Hopeful that as things progress CC will improve! 🙂

I know nothing about this product and have no prior experience, but i felt comfortable asking him simple/silly questions. The main complaint is: this is very expensive, not covered by insurance, and is a cash-only business.
