First time going, was recommended by my cousin. So glad I went there.. Everyone was so nice and friendly. I had ordered online but purchased more once inside. The employees are experienced and very knowledgeable. I am really glad I finally went here, sorry I waited so long. Thanks everyone for being so awesome, and I mean everyone!

Medical only dispensary in Roselle Park (other location in Cranbury). Staff is super friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to help in any way. Product is second to none in NJ. Smell, looks, and quality of effects are elite. Everybody else is just competing for 2nd place. I have two dispensaries less than 10 mins from home but still choose to take the 40 minute trip to Breakwater.

I have (had - never going there anymore) been a regular customer of breakwater; I Purchased a gram of cartridge at the Roselle park location. Well, I thought I purchased a gram of Live resin cartridge (550 battery cart) , because breakwater has concentrates listed under live rosin carts on daily menu. While glancing at the menu, I asked the bud tender if the product under love rosin cart is really a 550 cartridge - and she confirmed yes it’s a Live resin cartridge(i also asked whats the difference between Live resin and rosin to confirms it’s not some other form of weed- ). I literally opened the packet and saw a gram of concentrate. I showed it to them and asked to exchange it for a cart because I cannot consume it - Breakwater says , “sir unfortunately I won’t be able to return your money because you opened the pack (reminding you I opened while in the vicinity area) like , please talk to my manager .” I understand you have rules but you’re literally not taking back your product that you sold in a misleading manner to a customer , I don’t have the equipment to even smoke the concentrate. It’s okay , but the worst expense I had , I gave the concentrate back to them (Karen move I know , so stupid) and walked away.This is a good store to purchase things here and there but do not expect long term loyalty from them. This is not bad for a brand product but more of a back up store where you are running dry and everything else is sort of closed or other dispensaries might not have what you need at the money. (the points system is also scammy because you’re spending so much money to get $10 or $20).This review might not make a difference to the business , but losing a recurring revenue customer over - at fault misunderstanding is extremely bizarre for any business.Honestly, I wouldn’t go here but they lure you in by sending you $15 credits since you have not been there in a while . Lastly , reviews also seem to be inflated for this facility - New chain stores are opening across NJ , go somewhere else but Stay away !

I’ll keep my review short and sweet. The staff? TOP quality people. They have the best recommendations and they’re so accommodating it’s insane. I just went this Friday and the budtender recommended the perfect strains to ease my anxiety. 10/10 people in there. Also the establishment itself is cute clean and direct to the point. They have 2 gram jars too which is so great. I’d visit this dispensary over and over again. They are CASH only which is the only downfall, however they have an atm right there so is it really a downfall? 🙂

For the past 2 years I have heard friends RAVE about this establishment and their budtenders/staff. I finally went last Friday and back again I was today! It doesn’t matter that Breakwater is a lil over an hour to get to.It doesn’t matter the price they sell their product at either. What matters is their compassion; their commitment to cultivating top tier product for those who suffer and cannot get relief elsewhere. The live rosin hash is beyond a 10/10…. I bought three different strains and each gave me a different, tailored experience. I bought a series of vape cartridges which I am excited to get to in the near future.Breakwater’s product is SO clean and naturally potent, that I will never go back to your random dispensary. Hopefully in time Breakwater will considered opening up an establishment more up in northern NJ. You guys are genuinely #1 in New Jersey 🌞🍕🌞

Beyond a 5 star experience overall! The employees are so knowledgeable and respectful. They answered all my questions i had and made some great recommendations. The facility is amazing so clean and modern looking. Even the check in process so simple compared to other dispos I’ve been to. I just wish there was a Breakwater closer to where i live, but I’m willing to take a trip there every so often, just because of the experience alone, let alone the legit best product in NJ.

Without question, Breakwater is the finest dispensary in NJ. They have an excellent, diverse selection of products, which are typically unique to Breakwater. The staff has always been very knowledgeable, respectful and quite helpful.This facility only services medical patients. They are open 7 days a week. There is sufficient free parking in a dedicated parking lot.This site is under construction, making way for a new building.

Breakwater has the best flower hands down, not even a question. Their customer service is also commendable. I was a weekly customer for well over 6 months and not once was I disappointed in the quality. However, given both the economic climate and lobbyism making NJ the only legalized state where homegrown marijuana can land you in prison; it would be nice to see Breakwater take some initiative. The prices are VERY high, and I understand business is business, but maybe a rewards program overhaul should be considered. As it stands, you have to spend $1000, to receive just $50 off, which doesn’t even cover an 1/8th. I don’t think that’s very rewarding, especially to medical patients. Would it kill the bottom line to spend let’s say $300 and get a free 1/8th? I’m not an economist, but i’m sure rewarding your most frequent customers will only lead to them coming in more often.For reference, this collection I have on my desk for some reason, of 46 jars (approximately 2 per week) cost roughly $2500 (5% of the average NJ salary), making a years supply of a singular 1.0 gram joint a day, a whopping 10% of the average NJ salary. This also means that just 2 of those jars collected in 6 months were discounted -$50…2 out of those 46…That said,**Breakwater has THE BEST flower, and great customer service***But…For any patients who find themselves in need of cheaper medication, ***DEAL SURF***. There are deals everyday, and even if the distances between dispensaries may be far you can find crazy deals like I have the past two months. Like a $12 (.5 gram) Resin Cart from a well known dispensary in Bloomfield, (if you google dispensaries in that area it will be first). But anyway, shop around and look for what’s on sale and you’ll be surprised! Cheers!

This is the best medical dispensary hands down in my opinion I wish they would offer more strains but that’s what makes them so special the concentrate so much on the quality in every measure possible. Im a flower connoisseur I enjoy everything they have to offer. I come all the way from jersey city area im glad the opened in roselle. Just rambling lol I’m smoking pie eyed now one of my favourite cultivars. Keep the new pheno hunt’s coming lol we patients appreciate it.
