Kaden! What great management at this dispensary! They have great roads in Maplewood and The "KINDEST" service. You can't complain about parking because there is GREAT street parking‼️🏌♂️... I am from LIVINGSTON and I find them to be the most convenient and BEAUTIFUL location... not to mention i can hit the MILLBURN DELI on the way back... pretty sure I will continue to make great friends at Millburn Deli, the dispensary, and the gym... great deals on Chunky Monkey & Cherry Mellow 🍒 are my favorite flower. I did pick up project pancakes tonight because I also like legends 1G live karts... gotta always diversify my bonds you know what im saying! Thankful for this place besides lifetime gym there are not too many other places I need to go! That's right the millburn deli, maplewood dispensary, and lifetime gym! I have been very disappointed with how I have been treated while purchasing product. I recently turned 21 and I was so excited to make my first purchase. I even brought my sister with me but the lady that was servicing me didn't smile or say hello. She just asked for my ID. It was my first time there so I was trying to interact with her. It only got worse from there…The second time I went I felt rushed and the third time the lady that was helping me didn’t say a word to me and was on the phone the whole time.
My rating has nothing to do with the staff who assisted me directly—they were polite and helpful. However, during my visit, I witnessed something that left a very negative impression. While I was placing my order at the kiosk, the general manager, Gino, began loudly scolding an employee in the middle of the showroom. I overheard details about shelves not being stocked properly, and frankly, this type of conversation should not be happening in front of customers. It was uncomfortable and unprofessional, and it made the entire experience unpleasant. The way you speak to your staff says a lot about who YOU are as a person. Be mindful you’re also on camera and being recorded.
Great service from AranStopped by today to pick up a vape and Aaron was incredibly helpful. He took the time to explain the different options and helped me find exactly what I was looking for. Really knowledgeable about the products and made the whole experience smooth and welcoming. Will definitely be back!
Come here if you want to wait an hour because they don’t understand customer to register ratios. Place an order online but can’t pick it up until it’s “ready” as if there not doing the exact same thing, retrieve the product, for all customers

I returned to the register, where a different tender assisted me without issue. Before leaving, I attempted to get the names of the employees involved. At this point, the original tender yelled at me, calling me a child, despite me not addressing him directly.I then approached the general manager in the lobby and asked for her name and the contact details of her superiors. She responded dismissively, saying she would contact them about me herself, further escalating the situation. Her unprofessional and condescending behavior, along with the tender’s disrespectful conduct, is completely unacceptable.This experience was not only frustrating but also felt discriminatory and targeted. I am deeply concerned about how I will be treated during future visits, given today’s incident and the manager’s lack of professionalism and customer service skills. I have been a customer at your Maplewood, NJ since the opening.I am acutely aware as a rec buyer the hours of operation vs med buyer hours of operation.What a surprise to place an order for pick up as a rec user who choose pick up at between 9-10a. I placed my order, showed up at the Maplewood location told my order is ready ( I know my order is ready since the app indicated it’s ready). Within the first minute of my arrival I am told I can’t pick up my order since I’m a rec and not med purchaser.What the literal F is what is being conveyed to my brain. Your app has no indication for pickup for rec purchasers can’t pickup until after 10 yet your app acknowledges I am able to pick up at the time I choose between 9-10 a.Come to find out this is an ongoing nuisance for customers but for your staff. What the literal F are you not not addressing this but fixing this into your software. Someone write the damn code.When your store first opened competitors were dismal limiting the resource for customers to pick and choose their ‘fav’ location to spend their dollars. Now completion is tight. Competition everywhere along with competing prices if not lower at other retailers, why would you as a business not heed customer complaints and your employees?Write the CODE in the SOFTWARE.Check the photo to see there is no restriction for a rec purchaser not pick up between 9-10A(ET)Be better do better.
Ordered online. Was able to choose a time for pick up. Packing took 10 minutes. Store if clean, staff is professional, and even the security gets you upon arrival. Team members were prompt and I was able to get help from the moment I entered. Shout out to RAE for carrying a professional demeanor and helping me be in and out within 5 minutes! If you’re looking for good products, great sale prices, and a professional business.. definitely choose this one!
Terry just helped out me (a regular consumer) and my mom (totally uncomfortable with weed - buying for a friend who needs an appetite stimulant). Mortified. Sent my wife in for an ASHTRAYI accidentally used my name and I have been doing this forever she picks up my orders almost every day I must spend 200 a day here. Some dude wanted to give her a crazy hard time and then wouldn’t honor the sale they were offering on the cookies ash tray. He tells her super nasty that he has left a note on the account saying we have been using it incorrectly and improperly meanwhile my account has her bank account info on aero pay so i don’t know if the man is just crazy slow mean or what but I’m really angry and I’ll never go back to any Apothecarium ever again plus 2 other men walked out really angry to yesterday when I was waiting in the car It’s common here. Thank god manager was there when this re re called him over for help.

Nothing under $65 and the cashier looked at me crazy when I decided not to tip after he worked so hard sit behind a counter and find me weed I was willing to overspend on. Dink Dong Dank delivers and is better quality, look them up instead they deliver throughout NJ.

I love this place! Everyone from reception to checkout was super friendly. Isaiah went the extra mile for me to find a product that I wanted and even though they didn't have anymore, I appreciate the time and effort.
Waited in line for an hour and a half on 4/20 because the store was very under staffed for how busy it was. Gino made sure I got what I came in for and couldn't have been nicer especially considering the nonstop customers the budtenders saw that day.Maplewood as a whole would get a 5 star if they staffed their store better, but Gino gets 5/5 🌿
Normally I’d give this place a 5 cause the staff is awesome it’s clean and they had a great selection. It’s get a 3 because it’s managed horribly. It’s 4/20 and they have 4 of 9 registers closed and only 2 people in the back fulfilling orders. I placed an online order 5 hours before coming in and I’ve been stuck on line for 40 minutes already. You’d think management would’ve done a way better job prepping for what is bound to be the busiest day of the year and included a message for online orders that they’re way behind for the day. Typical Corporate weed problems tho this is why mom and pops are going to end up last longer, the deals maybe better at the corpo stores but ultimately nobody wants to place an online order and have to wait over an hour for their order in line. Pay people better to get more employees to make sure you’re fully staffed on the biggest holiday of the year for your industry.

Use to be one of my favorite places of the 1st dispensary open near me. Unfortunately, the reason for my review is because manager was rude and didn’t want to hear me out about my issue with a leaking cartridge. I was told to bring original receipt and packing and I will be ok. I did so and the manager told me final sale I never had a problem at this location. But customer always right and should be able to explain issue and get some answers and help. The other gentleman explained to me like I buying in the street final sale. I’m confused I bought License dispensary and order here all the time and 1st time I had an issue treated me rude. Not sure if I’ll be back here.
I don’t understand why yall never tell us what specials you have going and what promotions our purchases would be eligible for. I spend $200+ every time I go and yall NEVER say “hey you’re able to get this promotion for spending this amount”. It’s frustrating to find out after the transaction I could’ve gotten an additional product for free or heavily discounted.
Rae was extremely helpful and made my experience in the store pleasant! Everyone is always nice here, however Rae had the skills and technique that I ended up spending an extra $21! That’s at a discounted price and I was happy to spend. Great service and friendly atmosphere.:)

They have this lady , working as a manager???? For the love of all the gods in this world? She created a click in there that you won’t believe , I had a problem with a representative over the phone in November and that’s why I’m not allowed to shop there? Meanwhile, I was shopping all the way to January meanwhile I had called the state on her one time and won the case ? So she does a sneaky Maneuver , And bands me from going yooooooo and if u just talk to this person for 1 minute u understand no way on earth , she should be a manager, no way
I couldn’t place a pick up online today so I had to order in store. It’s ok though because Daniel got me right. I like his spirit and his insight on products. Employees like him is what keeps me coming back to businesses. It’s ideal customer service.

I popped a tired on my way there, and i knew my flat would make it into the parking lot where i could maybe find some friendly people. Not only did Ron from behind the counter rise the occasion, also the assistant manager, Mattias taught us all how to change a tire. Also, direction parking lot traffic navigate around the scenes of my transplant I was so impressed. i feel confident changing my tire to spare if that ever happens again. I Much thanks, it's worth the drive!!!!

I enjoyed my experience with Thomas today. I think he got good personality just made for this job. He tells you about sales and give you customer service. Brianna was so sweet and answered all of mine and my wife’s questions. She made us both feel so comfortable asking her anything and not feeling silly about any questions we had. She also gave us completely honest reviews about product which we very much appreciated. We have been to a couple different dispensaries and this one was by far the absolute best! Everyone there is always welcoming and helpful. From the moment your ID is being scanned to the time you complete your transaction everyone make the experience so pleasant! I have no issue with the staff or the service, but you can get much cheaper products at different dispensaries. I won't walk in this building again until the prices drop drastically. $65-$70 for an oz plus tax. Hard pass.

Have to agree with some recent reviews. The employees used to be very helpful and made the experience pleasant. Most recent visit I had asked for a menu of available flower and the cashier just pointed at a screen. I selected the product and he then said that it was sold out. I said that’s why I asked for what was available. He was then very rude and if this is any indication of how this place is now I will go elsewhere. When needed. Way cheaper to purchase flower the old fashioned way anyway. Only come to a dispensary in a pinch.
I come here often, and the front desk staff completely ruins the experience. Always on their phones, not paying attention - or doing their job, often rude and dismissive.**Bud tenders are usually great though!! I love Alan, he’s always friendly and knowledgeable, plus he remembers you which makes you feel welcome. Haven’t seen him lately though…
Stew was so very helpful and kind. I felt comfortable to ask more questions about products and that makes a difference for the entire buying experience. I feel more confident and satisfied with the selections I made because Stew took the time to make suggestions based on my needs and went out of his way to check that what I was looking for was available.
Apothecarium Dispensary does not sell freshly harvested premium flower. I bought four canisters last night to come home and find out the flower was harvested back in June 2022….it is so dry and moldy - I am disgusted that they allow this type of quality control. Will not be going back here.

This place is my go to and the man, the myth, the legend, best bud tender east of the Mississippi, is named Allen. This man will never disappoint and he has recommended great products time and time again. It’s a great spot but the service is out of this world. I’ve been going here for awhile now and the staff has been very personable and professional. Sometimes I don’t even realize that I’m there for over a half a hour! They never rush you. They take their time with you. They also hold a lot of events and giveaways. Definitely the best dispensary in the state. Ask for Alan when you go. He’s very experienced and will take care of you.
Love the place. Great store with great product not separated by Med vs Rec flower. The people I've met, Alan Carter and Anthony, are a blast to work with and are VERY knowledgeable. They will steer you correctly. See them and you will be happy you did. This is my favorite is NJ so far.
Will be finding a new dispensary to go to. I was sold a defective cartridge. When I bought it I was not informed I have to keep my receipt (which I was never given) and original packaging. If I had known that I would’ve made sure to keep it. I was also not informed of their 7 day policy for returns of defective products. It’s been 3 months since I bought the product and it is just now showing it’s defects. Although I don’t agree with the policy it is what it is. What I did not appreciate was the lack of customer service and extremely rude demeanor of the staff. This business has not properly trained their staff to be accommodating to their customers. The employee I first spoke to was ready to tell me we can’t do anything and let me walk out the door with absolutely no solution or suggestion. Whether that be a new cartridge or other product that may work for me. The manager was willing to explain more to me and offer me a discounted cartridge which I appreciate. Employees need better training with interacting with the public.

Michael helped me out and he was so great! I left something behind and he ran out to the parking lot to get it to me. Great service, good prices, and an amazing staff. This dispensary is 45 min from me but its the only one i go to bc i leave happy every time.
Always a great experience all around every visit. Today was even better, the staff is always friendly. My bud tender Jewel noticed the shirt I was wearing from another dispensary in Vegas that we both had visited. She was very informative and helpful. Hope to have her again as my bud tender!
The Apothecarium is by far the best of them all in NJ. The staff are always super nice, and the selection is always interesting and ever expanding. I am a medical patient, and the ‘patient promise’ credo really shines through and separates them from all other dispensaries. They truly do prioritize patients and make sure they are getting the most competitive prices/experience offered to them. Thank you guys for being the best of the best!
My experience today overall was pretty amazing!! Entering the dispensary I was approached by an employee named Eugene( highly approachable as well). Eugene made me feel comfortable in making my first initial purchase at the dispensary. He was very knowledgeable and informative about the products offered at the store. Not only was he able to answer all of my questions he also showed a sincere interest in helping me understand the difference in products. Eugene was empathetic which allowed me to connect with him and be able to leave the store with no doubts or concerns. Overall, the presentation of the store and employees are great.
Ive been going to the apothecarium for almost a year now and I can’t rave about it enough. Tina is probably the friendliest person you’ll ever meet. I always love seeing her there. Tommy always gives the most informative “Ted talks” on the new strains and effects. Anthony is also just as great. The selection is amazing. Their “brand”, Kind Tree’s quality is the best in the state. Between that and the new selections they’re getting out of state I don’t see why you’d ever need to go anywhere else.
Update: the New live resin cartridge is extremely hard to pull a hit. Feels like I’m trying to hit a clogged cart. Not good. Still love their flower and original carts. Dropping a star for the new product that feels cloggedThe line and parking system was streamlined and efficient. There is a parking sign near the dispensary for free parking. And the line moved quickly as well. They take your order while you’re in line and begin prepping your order as soon as possible. When I jumped in line I was about 15th in the outside line, waited about 10 minutes before going inside and waiting another 5 minutes. The product I purchased was amamzing as well, two carts. YODA OG and Sunset Sherbert. The staff was extremely positive and helpful as well. Thanks!
