i do not recommend this dispensary for recreational items, i believe they re selling returned products or the staff is using the products. I've been to this location on two separate occasions, and on both visits, I purchased the same product, a disposable vape pen. My first experience was positive as the product was properly packaged with a cap on the mouthpiece.However, my second visit was disappointing, as the vape pen had no mouthpiece, and it lasted half the time. This has raised concerns in my mind about whether they are selling returned items or if their staff might be using the products.

I usually come to Ascend here in Montclair. I travel from New York which is far but really enjoy shopping here.When I came in the store I went to the ordering tablet. Behind that counter there was a employee who was on here iphone. I was not greeted a hello or how can I help you. I proceed to make my order on the tablet. When I asked Ashley to help me she didn’t even look or try on the tablet. She continued to text on her phone and said “whatever is there is there, if you don’t see it we don’t have it” she didn’t even make eye contact with me as she continued to look at her phone.I advised I called before coming at product was in stock and ask to speak to manager.Ashley brings a manager and said I told you it’s out of stock but she said sarcastic with smile of happiness that it was out of stock. Who smiles and says I’m sorry. I was appalled by her service and laughter.She should be removed from the store because her on the phone and lack of customer service.I hope HR looks into this matter and removes her from a great store but lack of service to the customer and Ascend as she was on her phone for the whole time I walked. Please pull the video to show she was on the phone during my visit. 10/25/2023 at 7:30 thru 8:30pm.Please make Ascend better without Ashley as she is bad example to other hard working employees.

Highly recommend. Nice people. Best part is that you can get in and out quickly if needed. Very efficient operation. Inventory is always stocked. As good of a selection that you’ll find anywhere.

Staff are always friendly and helpfull. Reasonable prices. Sales that they have are decent also. With the online ordering there are usually no lines...or if there is a line, it is short and moves quickly.

Nice place, small, good prices.The reason this is a 3-star review is because to make an order in the store, you have to use a website-based ordering system on their tablet devices. The browsers are not configured with correct privacy settings, and any information entered into the entry fields is cached and visible in a drop down menu to anyone else entering their info, such as your full name, phone number, etc. I've worked in IT for over a decade and consider this a huge oversight for patient/customer security and will not be returning until this is fixed.

Ryan and Devon were great! Very helpful to speak with someone about the product and give insight on what is fresh. Product can vary in quality, I've had very good flower and also very old flower. Good location and friendly workers overall.

You get 2 stars for convenience to my location and having some decent deals but bribing customers to leave 5 star reviews for a discount is pretty disappointing. I’ll let you keep my $5 and leave you a lower review for that. Told Nena that maybe if the walls and floor were EVER clean inside that you’d get a higher review.Bribery isn’t cool.

Ryan has been always pleasant, he has helped myself and my disabled girlfriend many a time to get the best bang for my buck, and the location itself is very accessible and detailed oriented on customer service. They're so nice, i bring them donuts on occasion!
