In an industry where there are so many places to choose from, inventory is the main reason customers come in. Loyal customers are created by not just the inventory but the customer service and Noah failed at this aspect. This was my first and unfortunately my last visit. I was in line admiring the atmosphere and when it was my turn in line the young man just looked at me, didn’t utter a word. When I walked up to his station and said hello, he just looked at me until I said hello again, then he mumbled something in the way of a greeting. Saying hello is just common courtesy, especially if you’re spoken to first. On top of that, he didn’t even review my order with me. Every one else that I interacted with, including the 2 security guards were super nice but Noah left a poor impression of your customer service.

Very disappointed as of late. They used to offer a variety of many deals. It looks like now that they have their following, deals they offer can't even be considered deals. $10/ gram on 2 oz and half oz flower: not even a deal at all. Got better deals on street with equal quality or better on street before legal. This was only source for me for a long time. Now, I only visit website to confirm why I don't go. Samf or better product for cheaper at quite a few competitors in area. Likely won't be using this place ever again.

Stephanie was amazing. However, this new keyboard system seems a bit of a hassle. There was product that was out of stock on the key pad. I felt as though I had to read and scroll fast to figure out what I wanted. The last system just looking at the board and having guidance helped a lot. This is why I frequent this location instead of the location closer to my home. I guess if this is the way it’s going to be I mind as well go to the one near my house. Plus the organization on the board use to be great. This I had to scroll endlessly. Bring back the original way or update the new way to be better. Luckily my advisor knew their stuff!!

Stephanie was amazing, so knowledgeable and helpful! She listened intently to my concerns and found items that would help me and my health issues. She informed me about sale items and was ok that I asked about other items, ie. ghee and coconut oil. Then she told me about infused sugar! She patiently explained how all the products worked - never hurrying me along. I definitely will return and try my best to make sure she helps me.

Super friendly staff and helpful when I went in. Now the problem I got home the cartridge was broke. I don’t even remember if I got the receipt or not I think I just threw it away. I went back the next day and showed the manager it says where I got the product and I told her I could pull up the transaction on my phone. She said with out the receipt there’s nothing they can do so I’m just beat out of $75. Pretty disappointed, it would be very easy to pull up the transaction from the prior day. I never used it or anything. Needless to say I definitely will not be going back

I’ve come here a few times and only because it’s in my line of travel. The security guards here can be rude especially the males and my most recent experience was them telling me what they had on sale online wasn’t on sale because it’s new but it doesn’t say that on the site. You’d think for a 10.00 price difference they’d be accountable for not properly setting up their site to reflect what’s on sale. Nope 👎🏼, so honestly I’d say go to the Botantist or take the drive to Hello High in Hammonton better people better business and better prices !

My preferred shop since moving to Jersey. I don't think it's ever taken more than five minutes to get in and out. The staff have been polite and friendly in my experience, especially the security guards. The prices are pretty much standard for the area, and they seem to pretty consistently have in store deals. Worth the drive from West Deptford in my opinion!

I would have to say in the beginning it was all good, yet when the name changed along with the new staff it has all been going downhill. I just recently experienced one of the most unethical management skills I’ve ever seen. I had an issue with the points system and the glitches that been going on at cannabist On the point system, I’ve been losing and gaining points and when I presented it to the team, they removed all my points and gave me what they felt was right. I presented it to another member of the team and he promised to give me what was claim then we have another manager come from left field claiming that none of this ever happened. She must’ve been smoking before she started work. She was very unethical trying to suggested everything that she thought happened. The funny part is she wasn’t even there.. I Also had a situation where I had to sit there a half hour because the computer had a glitch and no transaction could be done. As a medical patients We should not have to go through these situations it literally caused my anxiety to hit 180.. Consequently, this brought forth a severe headache because my blood pressure went up I had to pull over to get myself back to my natural state.. I would truly recommend when you see this place to keep it moving to the nearest dispensary. I really am concerned for future customers due to poor management skills.

Be careful when choosing their already rolled products, especially when their representative needs to shake the container to see how many “rolled” are in the tube. Three times, I’ve bought “rolled” in addition to their “flower” products. The first time, instead of two rolled ( as they stated) , they had ONE SMALL rolled in container. The second time the same thing happened. The third, same thing!After bringing this to the attention of their manager along with having my receipt’s she said they are including ONE “rolled” which is larger their policy changed..This was Not the case in all three purchases.Now, FOURTH purchase and rep is shaking container stating “it sounds like one as it should be. “We changed our policy regarding “rolled, there has to be just one in the container .” Wrong again, this time there were two!”Get on board folks, it’s not the way to keep customers especially when several shops are popping up nearby. Just totally weird, not my idea of good customer service especially questioning my credibility?! I asked for nothing, my objective was wanting to bring this to their manager’s attention that mistakes were being made. Cannabist made good on NOT ONE OF MY PAST PURCHASES. I’m not making a purchase anywhere that would force me to count/weigh things in my car.I certainly didn’t buy a Happy Meal for my granddaughter double checking at the window to make certain her toy was included in the bag! Went in on 4/20 and line was wrapped around the building however I still received the same great customer service as if it were a regular day after waiting for quite a while which I knew was inevitable (express lines were closed ) to my surprise my preorder was still filled I was able to get exactly what I ordered and even use a few of my receipts and stash cash for a discount this dispensary is my GO TO! They really do a great job !

Not Closed at 7:45, 7:55.It's a weed store, you all don't have that much too clean and take care of like a restaurant does so if that's the case then whoever is managing day to day is doing an awful job and need a refresher.Nothing more annoying then showing up too the store you want to go too because whoever is the manager on duty decides "Oh well we feel like closing 20 minutes early so guess you're gonna have to go else where" At 7:40? When your sign right in front of me says you are open until 8PM? Are you serious?Deals each week are mediocre at best, the staff almost never looks happy to be there or want to even serve you. Which from a weed store is insane, who ever is killing team morale there needs to go.Not the same Cannabist crew I met when first opened.Only benefit to coming here is you might save a little bit of time waiting in line during the middle of the day compared to Curaleaf, but the difference in deals, staff, and way the building and process's are managed, are so so much better then anything Cannabist has done to be remotely Unique in the past 12 months. Security at the front door is great.Had an issue with a pre order not being in the store records upon arrival. However, after speaking with the supervisor, Liz, everything was sorted. Liz went above and beyond to answer questions, teach us about the store process and how the pre orders work, and took her time to make sure we were happy customers.Customer service of this standard is hardly seen anymore, and I commend Cannabist and Liz on their great job.I will happily be a return customer.

My experiences here were disappointing. The female security guard was incredibly rude on two separate occasions, the first time I witnessed her attitude towards another customer and another time it was directed towards me. The young girl behind the counter was erratic, unfortunately, I didn’t get her name or else I would post it. My order was a simple pickup that turned into a whole predicament. The manager was totally ineffective in addressing my concerns. I left feeling appalled by how poorly they handled the situation, turning a minor issue into a major one. Their rudeness and inability to manage the situation left me more stressed. I no longer go to this location due to their terrible service.

I am from Colorado and I know the cannabis markets pretty well from professional experience. The dispensary is fine, though the products are grossly overpriced. This stuff is dangerous though. There is obviously a lack of regulation in New Jersey. The cartridge I got was cut with a flavor enhancer. It was not included on the label of the product. There is no way this product can taste of synthetic grape. I have seen this before and can tell everyone this is a product that more than likely not only has additives that are not regulated or safety evaluated, probably from a sweat shop…if they’re willing to do that, they’re almost guaranteed to be using pesticides, growth hormones, poor or even modified genetics and poor growing conditions where things like mold and disease transmit.Whenever I see this, I think it’s important to warn people that this product is likely unsafe for consumption and to demand better products from your local dispensary. I really hope New Jersey authorities eventually learn to regulate this otherwise beautiful industry. I honestly haven’t seen something this blatant though in years and I had hoped your industry here would be better than that. Especially at nearly $100 / gram for the house mid tier shelf!!! (I get the same type of thing in a quality safe package at home for $12 with tax).

The facility is not overcrowed and there is an extensive menu to choose from regardless of your preferred method of indulgence. Unlike another local dispensary where edible flavors are limited, here the number of different varieties are robust. It is like being a kid in a candy store trying to figure out which one is going to get your quarter this week.All around, from facility and staff, to product choice and the friendliness of everyone who works there, this store receives 5 stars easily. It is actually delightful to go into a place of commerce and have staff treat you like they enjoy their job and you are not just someone who is interupting their day.

I went asked for an Indica and was told that they have none in any form, 🤔 huh?Now you're doing way better and if you keep up the modifications and make sure your "cashier's" sold on the street. I was excited about going to this store because I’ve never been to a store that sells pot. I went in the middle of the day on a workday and it wasn’t too crowded. They check your id at the door and you get in line. I wanted to know which strain would be good for me and not make me have a panic attack. It’s my turn! I walked up and told the employee I didn’t know anything and I wanted to know which one was great for me. The guy thought I didn’t know about the different apparatuses to use so I quickly told him I’m know about the different ways. I wanted to know about the product. He told me what to get and that’s it. I felt very rushed and he didn’t help me at all with the different strains and tastes he only pointed at the menu. I’m not happy with my experience with this store. The staff didn’t make me feel good about my purchase. I didn’t feel good about my purchase I got home and it says may cause hallucinations exactly what I didn’t want. And the one he suggested is very strong with thc and I didn’t want that either. I guess I expected to much but the website seems so much nicer.

Associates will claim they are giving you an additional item for a "discount" and will quote said price but after viewing my bank account transaction I realized the associate had lied to me. No receipt was given after the transaction either. You are better off going to Curaleaf, which I believe is a more trust worthy location.

Went there and got a cart .5 mind you for $70 A hard earned 70$ get it to the car open it and it’s all sticky and half empty look closer at it and the glass is cracked in 2 different spots clearly so I go back in and you know they won’t swap out a 70$ dollar cart I just bought from them and it don’t even work and is cracked. They told me that I had to reach out to the manufacturer. I’m sorry it’s your product that is cracked it’s not my job to call the manufacturer that you sell there product that’s cracked atleast stand behind the junk you sell and don’t work ..clearly customer satisfaction is slim to none and that’s the most important part. that’s not how you operate a business. ANYONE I kno or hear the name cannabist in deptford I will make sure they do not waist their time and money there. Worst part is that was the first time I was there that was my first impression and the last time I’d ever spend a dime in there. My daughter and I were treated like garbage by one of the ladies working here. My kid was walking around looking at the confetti on top of the displays and this lady starts chiding me about kids having to be right next to their parents and, even after my kid was back standing next to me, this lady is still shooting off at the mouth about it. I literally had to blatantly ignore her to get her to give up.After I made my purchase on the recreational side, I walked over to the medical side (I'm a med patient but forgot my ID at home on this day) to look at the much more diverse and offerings. Not 15 seconds into looking at the menu, here is this lady again! Now, she's telling me that she is going to make me move aside for medical customers and that I didn't have to stand there looking at the menu since the menu was also online. Curaleaf is literally 5 minutes away and the only people there who have acted out were the corporate stooges that showed up when they were expanding to accommodate recreational users. I just started to try the products here to see if they would help with my chronic back pain, and Jennifer D. was so helpful in explaining to me the different types of options they have, what is best for pain, and helped direct me to the right options.Really appreciate that as this is all new for me and it can be quite a bit overwhelming.Happy to say, I've found amazing pain relief here - especially with the Verano Mandarin lozenges. Highly recommend if you're dealing with chronic pain that no other treatments can touch. This is literally the only thing in ~17 years that has helped me, and it is dramatic.

My first few visits were great, the high costs of the goods didn’t even scare me away however most recently, super disappointing! Rec sales are until 6pm… I arrived at the store @ 5:15 and they told me “sorry we are closed”I’m sorry but gas is too expensive! If you state one closing time on your website, you should honor the closing time!EDIT: I went back just simply b/c of proximity to my house and they now have signs stating sales stop 30 mins prior to closing time. I appreciate at least the signs they have to inform people now.

In an industry where there are so many places to choose from, inventory is the main reason customers come in. Loyal customers are created by not just the inventory but the customer service and Noah failed at this aspect. This was my first and unfortunately my last visit. I was in line admiring the atmosphere and when it was my turn in line the young man just looked at me, didn’t utter a word. When I walked up to his station and said hello, he just looked at me until I said hello again, then he mumbled something in the way of a greeting. Saying hello is just common courtesy, especially if you’re spoken to first. On top of that, he didn’t even review my order with me. Every one else that I interacted with, including the 2 security guards were super nice but Noah left a poor impression of your customer service.

Very disappointed as of late. They used to offer a variety of many deals. It looks like now that they have their following, deals they offer can't even be considered deals. $10/ gram on 2 oz and half oz flower: not even a deal at all. Got better deals on street with equal quality or better on street before legal. This was only source for me for a long time. Now, I only visit website to confirm why I don't go. Stephanie was amazing. However, this new keyboard system seems a bit of a hassle. There was product that was out of stock on the key pad. I felt as though I had to read and scroll fast to figure out what I wanted. The last system just looking at the board and having guidance helped a lot. This is why I frequent this location instead of the location closer to my home. I guess if this is the way it’s going to be I mind as well go to the one near my house. Plus the organization on the board use to be great. This I had to scroll endlessly. Bring back the original way or update the new way to be better. Luckily my advisor knew their stuff!!

Super friendly staff and helpful when I went in. Now the problem I got home the cartridge was broke. I don’t even remember if I got the receipt or not I think I just threw it away. I went back the next day and showed the manager it says where I got the product and I told her I could pull up the transaction on my phone. She said with out the receipt there’s nothing they can do so I’m just beat out of $75. Pretty disappointed, it would be very easy to pull up the transaction from the prior day. I never used it or anything. Needless to say I definitely will not be going back

The security guards here can be rude especially the males and my most recent experience was them telling me what they had on sale online wasn’t on sale because it’s new but it doesn’t say that on the site. The staff have been polite and friendly in my experience, especially the security guards. The prices are pretty much standard for the area, and they seem to pretty consistently have in store deals. Worth the drive from West Deptford in my opinion!

I would have to say in the beginning it was all good, yet when the name changed along with the new staff it has all been going downhill. I just recently experienced one of the most unethical management skills I’ve ever seen. I had an issue with the points system and the glitches that been going on at cannabist On the point system, I’ve been losing and gaining points and when I presented it to the team, they removed all my points and gave me what they felt was right. I presented it to another member of the team and he promised to give me what was claim then we have another manager come from left field claiming that none of this ever happened. She must’ve been smoking before she started work. She was very unethical trying to suggested everything that she thought happened. The funny part is she wasn’t even there.. I Also had a situation where I had to sit there a half hour because the computer had a glitch and no transaction could be done. As a medical patients We should not have to go through these situations it literally caused my anxiety to hit 180.. Consequently, this brought forth a severe headache because my blood pressure went up I had to pull over to get myself back to my natural state.. I would truly recommend when you see this place to keep it moving to the nearest dispensary. I really am concerned for future customers due to poor management skills.

Three times, I’ve bought “rolled” in addition to their “flower” products. The first time, instead of two rolled ( as they stated) , they had ONE SMALL rolled in container. The second time the same thing happened. The third, same thing!After bringing this to the attention of their manager along with having my receipt’s she said they are including ONE “rolled” which is larger their policy changed..This was Not the case in all three purchases.Now, FOURTH purchase and rep is shaking container stating “it sounds like one as it should be. “We changed our policy regarding “rolled, there has to be just one in the container .” Wrong again, this time there were two!”Get on board folks, it’s not the way to keep customers especially when several shops are popping up nearby. Just totally weird, not my idea of good customer service especially questioning my credibility?! The female security guard was incredibly rude on two separate occasions, the first time I witnessed her attitude towards another customer and another time it was directed towards me. The young girl behind the counter was erratic, unfortunately, I didn’t get her name or else I would post it. My order was a simple pickup that turned into a whole predicament. The manager was totally ineffective in addressing my concerns. I left feeling appalled by how poorly they handled the situation, turning a minor issue into a major one. I am from Colorado and I know the cannabis markets pretty well from professional experience. The dispensary is fine, though the products are grossly overpriced. This stuff is dangerous though. There is obviously a lack of regulation in New Jersey. The cartridge I got was cut with a flavor enhancer. It was not included on the label of the product. There is no way this product can taste of synthetic grape. I have seen this before and can tell everyone this is a product that more than likely not only has additives that are not regulated or safety evaluated, probably from a sweat shop…if they’re willing to do that, they’re almost guaranteed to be using pesticides, growth hormones, poor or even modified genetics and poor growing conditions where things like mold and disease transmit.Whenever I see this, I think it’s important to warn people that this product is likely unsafe for consumption and to demand better products from your local dispensary. I really hope New Jersey authorities eventually learn to regulate this otherwise beautiful industry. I honestly haven’t seen something this blatant though in years and I had hoped your industry here would be better than that. Especially at nearly $100 / gram for the house mid tier shelf!!! (I get the same type of thing in a quality safe package at home for $12 with tax).

Unlike another local dispensary where edible flavors are limited, here the number of different varieties are robust. I was excited about going to this store because I’ve never been to a store that sells pot. I went in the middle of the day on a workday and it wasn’t too crowded. They check your id at the door and you get in line. I wanted to know which strain would be good for me and not make me have a panic attack. It’s my turn! I walked up and told the employee I didn’t know anything and I wanted to know which one was great for me. The guy thought I didn’t know about the different apparatuses to use so I quickly told him I’m know about the different ways. I wanted to know about the product. He told me what to get and that’s it. The staff didn’t make me feel good about my purchase. I didn’t feel good about my purchase I got home and it says may cause hallucinations exactly what I didn’t want. And the one he suggested is very strong with thc and I didn’t want that either. I guess I expected to much but the website seems so much nicer.

Everyone there has been an absolute pleasure to deal with but today I was waited on by Salvatore who went above and beyond. He took the time to guide me in a different direction of what I was going to purchase and it ended up being much better than I normally get and saved me some money ( which will be spent there). If you’re looking for a dispensary where the people are great to deal with and very knowledgeable this is the place.

Store was late on opening, this isn’t the first time.Old sales were still up and manager had attitude when brought to her attention from one of the associates.I come here often store is clean cashiers are nice but the managers always take their sweet time with anything and have an attitude.

I loved that place always was there came with my mom it was a raciest boy tall with beard on medical side being disrespectful if I see him again I’m a make sure I get his name it’s a way to talk to people ….get off your phone and do your job …you’re not a cop you’re a employee talk to people with respect I’ll be following up on this post I go there enough to get his name.. only wanted to ask him a question. The line wasn't bad at all. The inside had a beautiful layout and a warm, welcoming vibe to it. Ellie was super sweet and helpful; she brought me my online order, as well as helped me with a few add ons. Can't stress enough how surprised I was at how fast the service was, I was in and out of there in probably 30 minutes max. Much appreciated 🤙

Dawson was great. Super fast service. Once I got inside, the entire process of picking up my online order took 5 minutes max.Keep in mind that recreational/“adult use” hours are different than what is listed. 10-7 are for medical only. I got there at 11:45 on a Wednesday and there was a line waiting as rec sales didn’t begin until noon.

I don't normally shop here and I want to warn others before they stop here and spend their money. Associates will claim they are giving you an additional item for a "discount" and will quote said price but after viewing my bank account transaction I realized the associate had lied to me. No receipt was given after the transaction either. You are better off going to Curaleaf, which I believe is a more trust worthy location.

If I could give it zero stars I would. Went there and got a cart .5 mind you for $70 A hard earned 70$ get it to the car open it and it’s all sticky and half empty look closer at it and the glass is cracked in 2 different spots clearly so I go back in and you know they won’t swap out a 70$ dollar cart I just bought from them and it don’t even work and is cracked. They told me that I had to reach out to the manufacturer. I’m sorry it’s your product that is cracked it’s not my job to call the manufacturer that you sell there product that’s cracked atleast stand behind the junk you sell and don’t work ..clearly customer satisfaction is slim to none and that’s the most important part. that’s not how you operate a business. ANYONE I kno or hear the name cannabist in deptford I will make sure they do not waist their time and money there. Worst part is that was the first time I was there that was my first impression and the last time I’d ever spend a dime in there. Bad taste in my mouth don’t waste your hard earned money on junk and carts that are cracked or broken but they won’t swap it out YOU have to call the manufacturer 🤣

Great experience for my first NJ dispensary visit. There was a line of about 10 people when I got there but it moved quickly… just enough time to check out the menu and figure out what I was getting by time it was my turn. In and out. The flowers were great and I’ll definitely be stopping by again. Thanks

My daughter and I were treated like garbage by one of the ladies working here. My kid was walking around looking at the confetti on top of the displays and this lady starts chiding me about kids having to be right next to their parents and, even after my kid was back standing next to me, this lady is still shooting off at the mouth about it. I literally had to blatantly ignore her to get her to give up.After I made my purchase on the recreational side, I walked over to the medical side (I'm a med patient but forgot my ID at home on this day) to look at the much more diverse and offerings. Not 15 seconds into looking at the menu, here is this lady again! Now, she's telling me that she is going to make me move aside for medical customers and that I didn't have to stand there looking at the menu since the menu was also online. Important to note here that there were NO medical customers in the building. It was very obvious to me that she was asking us to leave.Coupling the relatively higher prices with the truly demoralizing personal experience that I was treated to, I honestly see no reason to ever come here again. Curaleaf is literally 5 minutes away and the only people there who have acted out were the corporate stooges that showed up when they were expanding to accommodate recreational users. The everyday employees there are insanely good.

The staff here are absolutely fantastic. I just started to try the products here to see if they would help with my chronic back pain, and Jennifer D. was so helpful in explaining to me the different types of options they have, what is best for pain, and helped direct me to the right options.Really appreciate that as this is all new for me and it can be quite a bit overwhelming.Happy to say, I've found amazing pain relief here - especially with the Verano Mandarin lozenges. Highly recommend if you're dealing with chronic pain that no other treatments can touch. This is literally the only thing in ~17 years that has helped me, and it is dramatic.

Very clean. Felt like I was in a bank. Buzzed to get in. ID checked immediately before even getting in the door. Followed the guide ropes to the side you were going to... (Medical or recreational). Cameras all over. Beautiful wooden shelves with little drawers for each kind. Big tvs with menus. I was just in awe.. even walk out with discreet bag. Nice place.

My first few visits were great, the high costs of the goods didn’t even scare me away however most recently, super disappointing! Rec sales are until 6pm… I arrived at the store @ 5:15 and they told me “sorry we are closed”I’m sorry but gas is too expensive! If you state one closing time on your website, you should honor the closing time!EDIT: I went back just simply b/c of proximity to my house and they now have signs stating sales stop 30 mins prior to closing time. I appreciate at least the signs they have to inform people now.

Love this place! I’ve been a medical patient for about a year and they’ve always been beyond helpful at this location. The selection is great and they offer good sales for med patients too. Definitely recommend
