Used to be a decent place as far as deals and the no tax was cool. I’ve been going since it opened, but man it’s getting worse and worse. I’ve noticed a new trend, i only dab rosin, I’ve been to many different dispensaries and let me tell you, they are up charging on some brands, some worse than others. I can drive to kc or Cameron and get better deals. No way 1g of rosin should be $79 plus tax, and I’ve seen 1g rosin go as high at 85. Ridiculous robbery for people who truly need it to medicate, won’t be back until prices are dropped and I’ll let people know the robbery going on here. They also won’t let you return a faulty product like some dispensaries in my experience Fresh karma in st joe sells rosin for $60/65/70 plus tax. They are getting greedy, I’d rather drive 2 hours away to get rosin than support the up charge, especially when the best concentrate deal you offer is 10% off. ALSO not being able to use your card blows. Save your money and go somewhere else or nothing will change

Vertical used to be a great place to go and is still probably the best place in town but the bar isn’t high. $160 for a half is price gouging, highway robbery. I have not bought anything in St. Joseph for 6 months and with prices like this, I’ll probably never be back.

Been here a few times. Called ahead and talked to the same lady as before. Thank you for always helping me since I'm so bad at maneuvering my way around a website! It's nice to be able to call ahead and see if you have the things I like. I appreciate all the kind people that work there. Especially when I'm coming quite a distance! I've only gone to Vertical two times, the first time there was not really a bad experience just a little expensive but it's okay it's Missouri. So today I go in and I'm very excited I'm Latino, I'm telling these persons I'm on millennial I need to see the product I'm laughing giggling and then suddenly the customer representative tells me I have an "attitude." and if I need somebody else he's willing to get somebody else and so suddenly, I asked well then "I'll have somebody else if you don't want to attend me." He got mad went and told the supervisor. I told the attendees in higher voice, "your wish is my command." supervisor comes and tells me I need to drop my "attitude" when I came in just wanted to buy pot to be positive by the way and he said i needed some one else???I was the only brown person in the store as a customer! It made me feel like the angry brown person, I wouldn't recommend any person of color go to the store. Nonetheless the supervisor told me she wasn't the manager and that she was in charge for that day and that she wasn't there for the conversation even though she was a few feet away. I politely told her I am going to remove myself from the situation I really don't even know how to get out of here and she showed me the way out the sales representative yelled have a nice day the same one who treated me like garbage.

Great store. I was greeted by a very knowledgeable employee named Nadia. She steered me to the correct product and explained everything in great detail. Showed me what was on sale and what is a good product for what I explained to her that I was looking for. Pleasant and easy experience and will definitely go past the other dispensaries to go to this one again.

I usually stop in Kansas City or Saint Louis for stuff, but I found this nice little spot after coming in from Omaha. The staff are extremely helpful, and they know exactly how to help you. The staff help customers 1-on-1, and they even have an iPad with their inventory on it, so as they ask questions and learn your preferences, they can narrow down the options. They're highly efficient.

This dispensary is the best one in town by far!! The customer service is immaculate, they're kind, friendly, and very informative! They know there stuff, and will help you find the right strain that fits you best! The first time I was ever here, I really didn't know what I was looking for. But after me explaining to them what it was I was seeking. They helped me find the best strain that worked best for me! They treated me as if I were a friend, not like just another customer! Every time I've gone in here they're fast, helpful, and friendly. I never buy anything but my spouse does, and sometimes I tag along out of curiosity. Really cool on the inside. Mellow vibe, if you can believe it. Doesn't overpower you with the smell which came as a surprise.Edit: first time going on my own, and the speed is phenomenal. I don't necessarily want to chat, and they respect that. 7/7.
