I walked into Northern specialty after having a horrible experience at another shop. I asked if they had any vaporizers for dry vaping, and Kendra came to help me. She was one of the nicest, knowledgeable, honest people I have dealt with in a long time. She did tell me that you need to go back to the manufacturer if there's an issue. She did not try and sugarcoat it. She explained everything to me. She opened them up. She was just wonderful! Northern specialty is where I am going now for my items.And thank you Kendra for being such an awesome customer service representative. You turned my day around from being extremely frustrating to not being frustrated anymore

Best dispensary in the UP. Prices are very reasonable, especially with happy hour and early bird specials. The staff is very kind and welcoming. Make a trip up here every year to supply up and this dispensary is my go to every year.

The products are pretty good. They do have a couple things, other places, don't. But the one thing that irritates me the most is they just don't hold your order twenty four hours like everywhere else. Dispensaries run out of product constantly. So if you put a order in, you should at least get twenty four hours to have it held like everywhere else does. I'm not concerned if a deal is involved. It's just twenty four hours is a nice thing to give customers. I specifically enjoy hash and a lot of times it's just gone pretty quick. It honestly just makes no sense. Do not hold an order For twenty four hours. Every dispensary, across the country that i've been to will do that, except this one. I am not counting the ones. I have not been to because obviously I haven't been there yet. And I don't know what they do, but the ones that I have been to always hold your order 24 hours. In reality, that's just a courtesy to do for customers that support businesses and keep businesses going.I see you replied, so I figured I would edit this, i have no idea what you being The only locally owned dispensary, has anything to do with what my issue was. That literally has nothing to do with my review about not holding orders twenty four hours. Placed an order yesterday during “happy hour”. Showed up at 5 to pick it up and no happy hour pricing when it was rung up. The employee was pretty rude and seemed inconvenienced by having to give the correct price. Also, the flower we ended up getting were smalls with no indication of that on the menu. We usually swing by here when we are in town but this disappointing experience makes me think we will skip it next time.

With all of the availability in MI its easy to get "whatever" you want......BUT Northern Specialty Health is local and charming and has taxes included in prices-i would have no problem spending a little more to support local, but you dont need to...... the prices are more than fair!! Thank you for standing out in the community-please dont get "big".

Very good experience every time at NSH. Great people tending and good products at an awesome price. What I like the most is the price you see is the price you get. There's a hefty tax on marijuana products so sometimes it can be misleading when something says it's $20 and it ends up being $24, JS. Otherwise it's a local business and that's great and the original around here. I go to all of them to a degree but this one I like the most.
