Got a Theory Wellness cart from another dispensary. It was Blue Dream. The taste of it was HORRIBLE and after about halfway you couldn't get more than 2 hits without it completely clogging. It appears their quality has gone down in the years since they've opened. I won't be purchasing their products from their location or others again.Edited to add: This is very specifically about the products that they produce. It does not matter where it was purchased it is their product. There is no returning cannabis products to dispensaries once opened. I gave this review as their product was poor quality.

Most of the staff are great, but the system is awful.On many occasions being just near daily customers we have gotten screwed by the computers.Whether it's putting a preorder the day of or for the next day, there's been dozens of times I'll order something such as 5 preolls only to be told in store that someone else bought one before me picking up the order so I only received 4 preolls. This and many other similar problems continue to accure.What is the point of pre-ordering when it's not a guarantee that the items will be there when I go to pick up??

Theory Wellness of Great Barrington is one of the best places to shop, period. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable about all of their products and their preorder service is top notch. I didn't have to wait long for pick up, their system uses and integrated ID system so as soon as they scan your ID they have you and your order up in no time at all. 10/10 will be shopping with them for a long time. And I absolutely love their edibles, the chocolate is the most amazing thing I've ever purchased. I purchased the Caramel Macchiato bar the first time shopping with them and since I was about out, I decided that I would try most of their other flavors as well. I can't wait to try the new flavors I purchased.

Been to all the dispensaries in the area. Theory is hands down the best out of all of em. Prices are great. Quality of the flower is great. And they keep the flower menu mixed up. Not the same stuff every time you look. The staff is great as well. Even the dude that answers the door is nice.

Great prices, nice staff. Drove up a 2 1/2 hours for some decent deals. Ended up getting home and reading the labels of the Vape Pens I purchased and 3/8 were all created in May of 2022, I spoke with a customer service rep who replied with,"Oh I'm so sorry to hear that, that's very concerning since our systems shouldn't allow us to ring in expired product"My reply " I am confused, how long do you guys keep live resin / co2 carts on you're shelf for?Rep: "We keep products up to a year after it's production date"My reply : "So all 3 are 15+ Months old"Rep : "The expiration on these cartridges read as 6/2024, looks like these were tested just this past June. apologies on any confusion, we apply the expiration a date after its tested and put on shelves. The expiration is a date from testing, only because we cannot guarantee a product will hold the same potency after a year."My reply : For clarification, these items were created over 15 months ago?Rep: They were tested this year, and the "expiration" goes by the year after we test it. This is for all products!"My reply : For clarification this product was created 15 months ago yes? It was tested in June, but created 15+ months ago?Rep : The created date is accurate, yesMy Reply : And just to quote you, "We keep products up to a year after it's production date"Rep : "That was earlier, I meant to say testing date, not production date"My reply : So I am confused. No customer loyalty or appreciation program. Harvest dates online says 5/23, all my containers say 7/23. Preordered and they couldn’t find my order. Received 8 containers for only 1 oz.Batches seem to ebb and flow and can be different regarding quality despite being from the same batch.

I will never be back to this dispensary. I came from out of state and was extremely unhappy with the experience I had. I was very specific with what I wanted from the website but then was told they didn’t have what I needed in store. It would have been nice if the associates at the counter showed more kindness and patience towards me, instead of treating everyone that walks in the door like they’re just a number. All I wanted the associate to do is suggest something similar to what I wanted instead of aggressively pointing to the binders in the bin. Also, I know the rules and did my research before hand since I was out of state and I didn’t need to be told that I should only be buying for myself. My friend was helping me over the phone since I was having trouble with service. Over all I would not recommend coming here. I left with anxiety I didn’t need to have.

I’ve been coming here since the day it opened and the one and only time I had an issue, I sent an email and got a phone call within a few minutes from the moment I sent it and the gentleman that called tried to resolve the issue right away. It’s always very clean, even the bathrooms are exceptionally clean! The staff is really friendly n helpful and there is a good variety of products to choose from !!!

Products are very good. Very good pricing, especially lately. But my biggest complaint. And why theory gets 3 stars. Is that the cartridges they sell. Which is "theory brand" just clog up too much. And will eventually come out of the mouth piece. I know this is common issue with all carts. But theory carts seem to be the worst.

I normally do not do reviews since I’m a medical cannabis patient from NJ and privacy is very important or me. During a recent visit to MA I stopped at the Barrington recreational dispensary and all I can say about the in house brand is WOW..WOW..WOW.. The in house brand “Theory” has very nice buds, not dry at all. I was a bit concerned because the flower was packaged over two months ago. The best part is the bottle and bag came with a Boveda and kept the flower fresh. Please come to New Jersey..See you on my next trip there.

I went Saturday afternoon expecting a line and a complicated and intimidating time but there wasn’t any lines and the gentleman that helped me was great.Great products, and knowledgeable friendly staff. What I appreciate first about Theory Wellness is that they're located in a very good area - which I'll get to in a moment.Their in-house products are very high quality and fairly priced. What I like most is how consistent they are with not only quality, but also with same products returning to their menu.There's a lot to do in the area. Great Barrington has plenty of lodging, restaurants and small businesses which makes this area perfect for a little getaway any time of the year.

Very very lovely shop! Has tons of merch that's smell-proof and a warm and inviting atmosphere! Staff was sweet and so helpful, and walk-ins are welcome, but orders online are quicker and give you lots of information on the products. When I visited, they were having a Onesie Day for the staff, so the workplace seems fun as well.The products I purchased were potent and very carefully packaged (with absolutely gorgeous packaging!), and other product options were displayed in a "menu" book at the front of the store. We were encouraged to sit on their couches and browse the product at leisure.All in all, it was lovely and quick service with amazing products, so I'd be more than happy to recommend this gorgeous place to anyone who wants a good dispensary experience!

Awesome dispensaryIn GB. Since there are more dispensaries opening up in the area the wait is only a few minutes. I love the variety. There’s only a few things I wish they would change. The containers for flower are so wasteful. The tinctures use to be better when they first opened up. I liked the Curaleaf brand which I use to get quite often. The Theory brand tinctures just don’t cut it and the black dropper containers make it hard to see how much is left.

I have been visiting this location for years. I've tried only a couple other dispensaries but Theory and specifically THIS LOCATION has never been a disappointment. The staff is always very knowledgeable and beyond friendly. You can tell they enjoy their job. I have always enjoyed my visit and even though I mostly do preorders, I am always in and out with almost no wait time. They are truly the best! Their product is also the best I've had as well 🙂

But nothing gets me euphoric, relaxed, focused, etc. The edibles have no effect on me, nor does the flower or oil.Strange really - because their products boast impressive THC levels, but for me, zero impact.Shame 😞

Right off the bat quick and efficient workers. The moment I arrived to the door I was greeted my I.D was scanned and I was looking around. I love the tall sealing and spacious everything. From the lines that are all spaced out and the registers plus up you fell like chilling go to the sofa. Just love this place, I'm from New York and I can't wait till we have something close to this. Always going to make this place my pit stop. Plus being from N.Y it was nice to see how things are operated and the amount of variety there is.

A little disappointed this time at Theory. I purchased two disposable pens, and some flower. Both pens were super duper low in volume. As pictured this pen looks as if someone either used it, or simply skimped. The reason I say it was used,—the other disposable pen I purchased gave out before all the product was gone. Not sure what the issue is, but I make a trek to come here and that certainly was disappointing. This is the second time I’ve had issues with their disposables being short, and their pre-rolls are always MAD short. There’s a new dispensary around the corner, I’d give it a try. I think Theory knows it’s “the best” now so they’ve assembly lined all their stuff and therefore have slaked on the quality. Super bummed, come here all the time.

Flowers are pricier than street price but, edibles are a pretty good bang for the THC buck. A blessing for MA.and others visiting. This was my first dispensary trip. The ease of ordering ahead and picking up was nice. The staff was professional, friendly and knowledgeable. The product was decently priced and the quality was phenomenal. It was packaged neatly in reusable containers. My only suggestions would be to display more for consumers to look at as far as product and fight taxes! The picture wall was awesome, the vibe there was very positive and uplifting. Thank you !

I do not go anywhere else other than Theory Wellness in Great Barrington. Product is always on point. Pre-order process on their website is simple and intuitive. Barely a 10 min wait to get in to pick up my order during my most recent visit on a sunny Saturday when it was busy. Staff is friendly and informative. Prices are very reasonable especially for a long time consumer such as myself. You really can't go wrong shopping at Theory Wellness.

The security guy leaves a bit to be desired but I suppose he is just acting the part. All in all, a good experience experience. My only peeve is the surcharge for using a debit / credit card. The stuff is expensive enough as is and should be more than enough to cover cost of doing business. Extra charge is in my opinion Tacky.

I visited yesterday because a friend of mine uses cannabis for whatever reason he uses it. I have to admit, although I don't partake in the whole ingestion of weed thing, the store was well-run and the staff was so friendly, that it was a fun experience visiting. The people that were shopping were from all walks of life and also friendly. Interesting visit, good for them. Definitely worth checking out.

This place gives you what you pay for. The quality of the products is good and what they claim. You just have to book an appointment online and they give you an hour to pick up your order. The staff is knowledgable and carefully show you what you ordered so there are no disagreements. The line might be long in some case, but come on if a business is popular don't complain about the wait time. The workers are working effectively to provide a service.

VERY expensive as compared to others in the area, and the lack of varieties, the low THC on most of their flower has led me away from Theory. I believe they’re just a distributor and they do not grow their own on site. Which isn’t a problem unless that’s important to you.

I believe they are only doing pre-orders and their system for pick up means you don't get to go inside (at least for recreational users). No matter, they've got heat lamps and they are so efficient that you won't be out in the cold for long. Everyone there is super friendly. I can't speak to the quality or the prices, since this is the only dispensary I've been to. Maybe I'll have a basis for comparison once NJ opens up for recreational use next month.

Their whole in-person checkout process is very quick and seamless, even with COVID protocols in place. The staff is really friendly and organized, and have been really helpful with all the questions I've had regarding their products. Plus, there's plenty of parking which is a nice bonus.

Theory Wellness will hopefully be forever my go-to dispensary. If your from NY you've probably already visited or are thinking about visiting since the distance is so close. Theory wellness has a super knowledgeable and friendly staff, they have an answer to almost any question which is something that I really valued when I was a newer stoner. If you already know what you want their online ordering makes it super easy and convenient to order and pickup at your convenience. The products are incredible and their constantly changing menu always leaves an opportunity to find a new favorite strain or product. Theory is a really popular spot so I'd recommend trying to go during off hours like during the the week or in the morning when they first open. Weekends can be a nightmare of waiting in line with that amazing cannabis aroma teasing you. The only negative thing I can say about Theory is that here and there, the menu seems a little light. I suppose it's because they are running out so fast! Do yourself a favor and make the trip to Theory Wellness, you will not be disappointed. P.S. they only accept cash, or debit card, consider state marijuana tax and sales tax in your budget, and DO NOT FORGET YOUR ID.

Ended up getting home and reading the labels of the Vape Pens I purchased and 3/8 were all created in May of 2022, I spoke with a customer service rep who replied with,"Oh I'm so sorry to hear that, that's very concerning since our systems shouldn't allow us to ring in expired product"My reply " I am confused, how long do you guys keep live resin / co2 carts on you're shelf for?Rep: "We keep products up to a year after it's production date"My reply : "So all 3 are 15+ Months old"Rep : "The expiration on these cartridges read as 6/2024, looks like these were tested just this past June. apologies on any confusion, we apply the expiration a date after its tested and put on shelves. The expiration is a date from testing, only because we cannot guarantee a product will hold the same potency after a year."My reply : For clarification, these items were created over 15 months ago?Rep: They were tested this year, and the "expiration" goes by the year after we test it. This is for all products!"My reply : For clarification this product was created 15 months ago yes? It was tested in June, but created 15+ months ago?Rep : The created date is accurate, yesMy Reply : And just to quote you, "We keep products up to a year after it's production date"Rep : "That was earlier, I meant to say testing date, not production date"My reply : So I am confused. Because if I knew the product was over 15+ months old regardless of it being "tested" I would definingly not of bought it.Rep : If you ever need more clarification, moving forward you're always welcome to ask about production, testing, and expiration dates on products before you purchase it. i understand the confusion, but this is common in cannabis, and since your product is still well within it's best buy date, I unfortunately cannot return something due to a change of heart, due to the nature of our business, I'm very sorry to say.Moral of the story, check the labeling before you leave. They are more then content with selling you products that have been created almost a year and a half ago, regardless of the items "Being tested". I'd guarantee if anyone knew the product was over a year + they would not want it either.End of the day, nothing was done. Pretty much was told to bad.

No customer loyalty or appreciation program. Harvest dates online says 5/23, all my containers say 7/23. Preordered and they couldn’t find my order. Received 8 containers for only 1 oz.Batches seem to ebb and flow and can be different regarding quality despite being from the same batch.

I will never be back to this dispensary. I came from out of state and was extremely unhappy with the experience I had. I was very specific with what I wanted from the website but then was told they didn’t have what I needed in store. It would have been nice if the associates at the counter showed more kindness and patience towards me, instead of treating everyone that walks in the door like they’re just a number. All I wanted the associate to do is suggest something similar to what I wanted instead of aggressively pointing to the binders in the bin. Also, I know the rules and did my research before hand since I was out of state and I didn’t need to be told that I should only be buying for myself. My friend was helping me over the phone since I was having trouble with service. Over all I would not recommend coming here. I left with anxiety I didn’t need to have.

Products are very good. Very good pricing, especially lately. But my biggest complaint. And why theory gets 3 stars. Is that the cartridges they sell. Which is "theory brand" just clog up too much. And will eventually come out of the mouth piece. I know this is common issue with all carts. But theory carts seem to be the worst.

I normally do not do reviews since I’m a medical cannabis patient from NJ and privacy is very important or me. During a recent visit to MA I stopped at the Barrington recreational dispensary and all I can say about the in house brand is WOW..WOW..WOW.. The in house brand “Theory” has very nice buds, not dry at all. I was a bit concerned because the flower was packaged over two months ago. The best part is the bottle and bag came with a Boveda and kept the flower fresh. Please come to New Jersey..See you on my next trip there.

Very very lovely shop! Has tons of merch that's smell-proof and a warm and inviting atmosphere! Staff was sweet and so helpful, and walk-ins are welcome, but orders online are quicker and give you lots of information on the products. When I visited, they were having a Onesie Day for the staff, so the workplace seems fun as well.The products I purchased were potent and very carefully packaged (with absolutely gorgeous packaging!), and other product options were displayed in a "menu" book at the front of the store. We were encouraged to sit on their couches and browse the product at leisure.All in all, it was lovely and quick service with amazing products, so I'd be more than happy to recommend this gorgeous place to anyone who wants a good dispensary experience!

Awesome dispensaryIn GB. Since there are more dispensaries opening up in the area the wait is only a few minutes. I love the variety. There’s only a few things I wish they would change. The containers for flower are so wasteful. The tinctures use to be better when they first opened up. I liked the Curaleaf brand which I use to get quite often. The Theory brand tinctures just don’t cut it and the black dropper containers make it hard to see how much is left.

I have been visiting this location for years. I've tried only a couple other dispensaries but Theory and specifically THIS LOCATION has never been a disappointment. The staff is always very knowledgeable and beyond friendly. You can tell they enjoy their job. Right off the bat quick and efficient workers. The moment I arrived to the door I was greeted my I.D was scanned and I was looking around. I love the tall sealing and spacious everything. From the lines that are all spaced out and the registers plus up you fell like chilling go to the sofa. Just love this place, I'm from New York and I can't wait till we have something close to this. A little disappointed this time at Theory. I purchased two disposable pens, and some flower. Both pens were super duper low in volume. As pictured this pen looks as if someone either used it, or simply skimped. The reason I say it was used,—the other disposable pen I purchased gave out before all the product was gone. Not sure what the issue is, but I make a trek to come here and that certainly was disappointing. This is the second time I’ve had issues with their disposables being short, and their pre-rolls are always MAD short. There’s a new dispensary around the corner, I’d give it a try. I think Theory knows it’s “the best” now so they’ve assembly lined all their stuff and therefore have slaked on the quality. Super bummed, come here all the time.

I have to admit, although I don't partake in the whole ingestion of weed thing, the store was well-run and the staff was so friendly, that it was a fun experience visiting. The people that were shopping were from all walks of life and also friendly. Interesting visit, good for them. Definitely worth checking out.

The staff is knowledgable and carefully show you what you ordered so there are no disagreements. The line might be long in some case, but come on if a business is popular don't complain about the wait time. The workers are working effectively to provide a service.

I believe they are only doing pre-orders and their system for pick up means you don't get to go inside (at least for recreational users). No matter, they've got heat lamps and they are so efficient that you won't be out in the cold for long. Everyone there is super friendly. I can't speak to the quality or the prices, since this is the only dispensary I've been to. Maybe I'll have a basis for comparison once NJ opens up for recreational use next month.

Theory Wellness will hopefully be forever my go-to dispensary. If your from NY you've probably already visited or are thinking about visiting since the distance is so close. Theory wellness has a super knowledgeable and friendly staff, they have an answer to almost any question which is something that I really valued when I was a newer stoner. If you already know what you want their online ordering makes it super easy and convenient to order and pickup at your convenience. The products are incredible and their constantly changing menu always leaves an opportunity to find a new favorite strain or product. Theory is a really popular spot so I'd recommend trying to go during off hours like during the the week or in the morning when they first open. Weekends can be a nightmare of waiting in line with that amazing cannabis aroma teasing you. The only negative thing I can say about Theory is that here and there, the menu seems a little light. I suppose it's because they are running out so fast! Do yourself a favor and make the trip to Theory Wellness, you will not be disappointed. P.S. they only accept cash, or debit card, consider state marijuana tax and sales tax in your budget, and DO NOT FORGET YOUR ID.
