The Apothecarium Medical Marijuana Dispensary located at 100 Beall Street in Cumberland is open to help recreational users and MMJ patients shop for marijuana products.
For recreational use, adults can possess up to 1.5 ounces of cannabis flower, 12 grams of concentrates, or a total amount of marijuana products that is less than 750mg of THC.
Dispensary menu products are available recreationally for ages 21+ and Maryland Patients that received a Maryland MedCard from a state certified doctor.

Maryland just started sale of recreational cannabis. This is a medical dispensary so they are still getting set up for recreational customers. They are a cash/debit card only store. There is a $3 charge on debit card use.When the customer enters the store, their license/ID is scanned and then they proceed to a kiosk to order. There is someone to help. After the order is placed then the customer has to wait in line to be served. The customer order is ready for pickup when it is their turn. Medical customers go to the front of the line. The wait was about 15-20 minutes.I'm sure with time they will become more efficient at serving customers. I'd like to come back in a few months to see how they are doing.

Now that that it is open to the public, I have noticed. Bud tenders are not as helpful as they used to be, and you are rushed now. Make sure you alot extra time. Now, it takes 4 times as long as it used to, to get in and out. Menus were gone. Hopefully, they come up with some sort of solution and make medical a priority.

They don’t care about your medical needs or you as a person. They want you to buy their products and that’s it so get ready for the place to be flooded with Kind Tree. The company is a complete joke. I was also shunned by 2 of the Budtenders for my personal choice to leave the job. I went in to make a purchase and they skipped me a couple times so I left. This is the best dispensary to go to in Cumberland. Hands down. They don't close early, the staff is friendly AF, and their product is always on point. I think the only things I could complain about is they don't take debit cards (though it's not that huge of an issue, just gotta remember to bring cash or pay a surcharge at their atm inside), their sale list is pretty small, and they lack in some products I prefer. I think it's something I could get over, but I hope they get in the things I'm looking for! I keep my eye on their menu daily lol ????I love this place, and I think you will too!

Good selection of products, and they have a separate area that sells a great variety of accessories inside as well. Staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and eager to answer questions about products and offer recommendations. They have a drive thru but they are open inside as well. Just a few feet off the highway so it's easy to get to also. The only negative thing I can say is they don't have their own website (you have to use Weedmaps).

Grow west has 70,000 sq ft of growing in Cumberland, and its own dispensary in town as well. Support the local grow option, as Allegany medical MJ dispensary won't carry our locally grown flowers or medicine

The staff are wonderful and make me feel like I belong, they are always smiling and eager to make sure the customers leave there happy with the correct product. They always send me text messages with daily discounts or double point days and the swag they hand out to the customers are perfect and practical.
