This place went down hill fast! All the good deals are gone, they’re never staffed enough, wait times are no less than a half hour. No sense in preorders, they wait until you get there to actually fill your order, often running out of items you reserved hours prior. Green Goods down the street doesn’t have as much, edible wise but their deals have gotten way better and they’re way faster in getting you back and taken care of.

It is sooo sad I have to even write a review. Came here to pick up for a family member that I am an authorized person for. The front desk person looked me in the eye and lied to me that per the state of Maryland my spouse who is black is not allowed to wait for me in the waiting area. When you look at the law the law is very clear. If you don’t have ID you cannot buy it never said someone cannot wait for you. I checked the MCA website and it is very clear per the screenshot here. It never said we can be denied entry it said you cannot dispense to us. We should not be saying something is law when it is not law.

The weed is barely exotic I bought a strain that was supposed to have the highest thc count in the store and I was high for 15 mins and it smells bad and the flower is very hard and crunchy and they don’t let you look at ! Take your money else where you will get a better experience and be serviced by people who are actually educated in cannabis.

Waited almost two and half hours for a $10 preorder. I did not receive the "ready for pickup" text. I got tired of sitting in the parking lot watching people walk in and out with their purchases, so I joined the drive-thru line despite the large sign stating that you are not supposed to get in line before receiving that confirmation text.When I got to the front of the line, I was handed my product without any issues. The woman running drive-thru was actually quite nice. I then finally received my "ready for pickup" notice as I was exiting the parking lot onto North Point Blvd.This is completely unacceptable; there is less than no chance that I will ever return; and I have already warned multiple friends and family to stay away from this business. The parking is a complete joke and running your business on the back of a drive-thru concept when your lot can barely fit two lanes of cars -- with scant directional markings, by the way, so people just fly in from both entrances and go wherever they want -- is so absurd that it borders on entertainment.You could not pay me to go through this experience again. I would not come back here even if the products were free, and I would not recommend this dispensary to anyone -- not even in a nightmare.

The parking lot is horrible it’s an attendant out there but he does nothing. Security ( old black man mixed grey hair) was very Rudy toward me. I walk with a cane he rudely told me to move where was I supposed to go with no available seats. This place i does not have any order to it. Drive thru is very slow I very seriously doubt if I will use this BALTIMORE location again. It better bargains at Blair wellness on York road they are nice friendly organized fast service. Used to be a great place before Recreational use started! Placed medical order online & decided I wanted to add something to it & thought it would be easier to call than wait until I got there due to really long lines & just thought it would make it easier on everyone. Was told no problem would be taken care of. Got there waited in a very long line & didn't check my bag before I left or pay attention to the total (just assumed it would be right.) Got all the way home & found out they didn't put the extra item that I called & added to my order in my bag or even give me a seperate bag! Not sure if their rich but I'm certainly not & don't have gas to keep traveling back & forth, that's the purpose of adding to my order before I got there! Bad enough the prices have gone up since Recreational use started! All they say is their sorry, sorry doesn't help me! When you pay $200 for a medical card & than the price of the marijuana on top of it, I expect better service, sorry.

I’ve truthfully only had one good experience here- tried to keep that one experience in mind, but overall I’m very shocked & unhappy with the service & treatment by staff to patients at this Health For Life Dispensary.I’ve never had this many unpleasant experiences/ interactions in any other dispensary I’ve tried nearby.They are not helpful when you call with questions, they don’t care to explain how discounts work & they don’t give new patients much of a rundown on ANYTHING. Truthfully seems like they couldn’t care less about the people they’re helping get MEDICATION. I guess MOST OF the people working in this dispensary have forgotten that some medical cannabis patients deal with depression/ anxiety. Unpleasant experiences really stick with me when I’m already just trying to feel better mentally….They were very short & snippy on the phone today when I called with VALID questions.I assume staff would tell patients when they had points available since they can view that as they’re checking us out but that’s not the case. So I asked about that on the phone today & the woman was very clear that “that’s your responsibility as a patient.. we will bring up the points if we want to be nice but it’s not our responsibility….” Blah blah blahFirst of all; I was never even told about the points the first time I came into this dispensary….The second time I came in the very sweet young girl- I’m so mad for not getting her name- was SO KIND while checking me out- very conversational, knowledgeable & gave me the best service I’ve experienced here. She offered me to use my 10 points- that I didn’t even know I had…Yesterday was my third & absolute last BAD experience here at this dispensary. I honestly feel ripped off & truthfully mistreated.I spent over $300 yesterday & they literally didn’t offer to use any of my points I had earned the second time… you’d think if they’re “being nice” by bringing up the points- they might “be nice” enough to bring up your points when you’re spending a decent amount of money…. Right? Nope.I was never offered my points yesterday & the staff made me feel so anxious I forgot to bring them up. (I was made anxious by almost ALL the staff by them consistently commenting on how they were getting ready to close)… this made me feel like a burden when they still had over 30m until they stopped letting people pick up….I was also confused about how they did the discounting for their “buy 2 eighths, get a 3rd for a penny”. I was genuinely just trying to get an understanding of how their discounting worked for that “deal” & the woman on the phone acted like I was stupid for even asking. She didn’t really care to explain much clearly so I said “thanks for your help”. She gladly just hung up on me.

Can you guys NOT have an ATM surcharge? Instead of thinking we were getting 5 dollars off, we ended up not being able to get the discount (had to spend $50 first) and THEN got charged $6 extra for ATM fees because without the discount we were $3 short. So in total we ended up paying $11 more, which is messed up because we went specifically for the deals. Also sometimes when we preorder something they don't have it when we get there.

I was leaving today planning to never go back but luckily I ran into Joe (I’m pretty sure but I’m terrible with names) he had me go back in and got everything straightened out. Every time I’ve dealt with him his customer service is fantastic! Also imma give a shout-out to Nicole because she serves me more than anybody and she’s awesome. Even on the days where there’s a waiting room full of people and she’s the only person working the back she gets people in and out efficiently without making anybody feel rushed at all and that’s a big deal. Also she’s extremely informative if you have questions but isn’t pushy with things at all (and that’s greatly appreciated). I’ve been a long time customer and always recommend!

Place had always been great but the wait time is very long anymore. On average its like 10 minutes per car. I feel like a tap to pay option would speed things up or a better system to have orders ready. I don't see what takes so long to grab someone's ID grab, order and payment. It's not like they're making fast food orders in there. I know it's a steady business but I feel they could improve the flow a little bit. Been here over 30 mins with about 10 cars.

Edit: Update 27 December 2020.I placed a pre-order and ended up arrived at the store at 4:03 (unexpected traffic, what can you do?).. the store closes at 4:00. I was promptly turned away by the security guard even when the car directly ahead of me was allowed in line at the drive thru.I'm very sore about this. I understand hours and all but with my schedule I did what I could to make it there on time.Their website says that they are "dedicated to the health and well-being of our patients."I can't say that I feel that way anymore.I've given Health for Life a lot of business and I have had great experiences with a number of their budtenders, but I'm going to reassess who gets the bulk of my business going forward.

This place went down hill fast! All the good deals are gone, they’re never staffed enough, wait times are no less than a half hour. No sense in preorders, they wait until you get there to actually fill your order, often running out of items you reserved hours prior. Green Goods down the street doesn’t have as much, edible wise but their deals have gotten way better and they’re way faster in getting you back and taken care of.

It is sooo sad I have to even write a review. Came here to pick up for a family member that I am an authorized person for. The front desk person looked me in the eye and lied to me that per the state of Maryland my spouse who is black is not allowed to wait for me in the waiting area. When you look at the law the law is very clear. If you don’t have ID you cannot buy it never said someone cannot wait for you. I checked the MCA website and it is very clear per the screenshot here. It never said we can be denied entry it said you cannot dispense to us. We should not be saying something is law when it is not law.

Waited almost two and half hours for a $10 preorder. I did not receive the "ready for pickup" text. I got tired of sitting in the parking lot watching people walk in and out with their purchases, so I joined the drive-thru line despite the large sign stating that you are not supposed to get in line before receiving that confirmation text.When I got to the front of the line, I was handed my product without any issues. The woman running drive-thru was actually quite nice. I then finally received my "ready for pickup" notice as I was exiting the parking lot onto North Point Blvd.This is completely unacceptable; there is less than no chance that I will ever return; and I have already warned multiple friends and family to stay away from this business. The parking is a complete joke and running your business on the back of a drive-thru concept when your lot can barely fit two lanes of cars -- with scant directional markings, by the way, so people just fly in from both entrances and go wherever they want -- is so absurd that it borders on entertainment.You could not pay me to go through this experience again. I would not come back here even if the products were free, and I would not recommend this dispensary to anyone -- not even in a nightmare.

Got all the way home & found out they didn't put the extra item that I called & added to my order in my bag or even give me a seperate bag! Unpleasant experiences really stick with me when I’m already just trying to feel better mentally….They were very short & snippy on the phone today when I called with VALID questions.I assume staff would tell patients when they had points available since they can view that as they’re checking us out but that’s not the case. So I asked about that on the phone today & the woman was very clear that “that’s your responsibility as a patient.. we will bring up the points if we want to be nice but it’s not our responsibility….” Blah blah blahFirst of all; I was never even told about the points the first time I came into this dispensary….The second time I came in the very sweet young girl- I’m so mad for not getting her name- was SO KIND while checking me out- very conversational, knowledgeable & gave me the best service I’ve experienced here. She offered me to use my 10 points- that I didn’t even know I had…Yesterday was my third & absolute last BAD experience here at this dispensary. I honestly feel ripped off & truthfully mistreated.I spent over $300 yesterday & they literally didn’t offer to use any of my points I had earned the second time… you’d think if they’re “being nice” by bringing up the points- they might “be nice” enough to bring up your points when you’re spending a decent amount of money…. Right? Nope.I was never offered my points yesterday & the staff made me feel so anxious I forgot to bring them up. (I was made anxious by almost ALL the staff by them consistently commenting on how they were getting ready to close)… this made me feel like a burden when they still had over 30m until they stopped letting people pick up….I was also confused about how they did the discounting for their “buy 2 eighths, get a 3rd for a penny”. I was genuinely just trying to get an understanding of how their discounting worked for that “deal” & the woman on the phone acted like I was stupid for even asking. She didn’t really care to explain much clearly so I said “thanks for your help”. She gladly just hung up on me.

Can you guys NOT have an ATM surcharge? Instead of thinking we were getting 5 dollars off, we ended up not being able to get the discount (had to spend $50 first) and THEN got charged $6 extra for ATM fees because without the discount we were $3 short. I was leaving today planning to never go back but luckily I ran into Joe (I’m pretty sure but I’m terrible with names) he had me go back in and got everything straightened out. Every time I’ve dealt with him his customer service is fantastic! Also imma give a shout-out to Nicole because she serves me more than anybody and she’s awesome. Even on the days where there’s a waiting room full of people and she’s the only person working the back she gets people in and out efficiently without making anybody feel rushed at all and that’s a big deal. Also she’s extremely informative if you have questions but isn’t pushy with things at all (and that’s greatly appreciated). I’ve been a long time customer and always recommend!

Been sitting in line almost an hour, they take 5-10 minutes per customer in the drive through. I was a dedicated customer, but this drive through has become unusable. Being that this was the only benefit this store holds over Green Goods down the street, this will no longer be my go to. Disappointed to see the most convenient pick up become slower than just walking in somewhere else.

Place had always been great but the wait time is very long anymore. On average its like 10 minutes per car. I feel like a tap to pay option would speed things up or a better system to have orders ready. I don't see what takes so long to grab someone's ID grab, order and payment. It's not like they're making fast food orders in there. I know it's a steady business but I feel they could improve the flow a little bit. Been here over 30 mins with about 10 cars.

So check how long ticket times are when placing your order online, so you know when to pick up. They have a great reward system as well. I usually have a great experience when I come here. Tonight, the card reader was down which is fine, life happens. I was told by the cashier that it was listed on the website (the card reader issue). I used the Leafley app, didn’t see it there and there was no indication in the confirmation email.What really bothered me wasn’t that but her irritated response to me. She practically pushed the bag at me.

I love this dispensary. They have so much variety it’s ridiculous. I used to go to a different one and they were always out of certain items, very low variety always the same things over & over. Edit: Update 27 December 2020.I placed a pre-order and ended up arrived at the store at 4:03 (unexpected traffic, what can you do?).. the store closes at 4:00. I was promptly turned away by the security guard even when the car directly ahead of me was allowed in line at the drive thru.I'm very sore about this. I understand hours and all but with my schedule I did what I could to make it there on time.Their website says that they are "dedicated to the health and well-being of our patients."I can't say that I feel that way anymore.I've given Health for Life a lot of business and I have had great experiences with a number of their budtenders, but I'm going to reassess who gets the bulk of my business going forward.
