I brought a half full cartridge which was not working back to the dispensary today. My vape pen was not charged and I could not prove the cart was not working so I was told I could not get any credit for the defective cart until I proved it to them that the cart was broken and they "verified" my story. Disturbing, behavior by employees and awful policies.Update 5/7I just read your friendly worded response. I still have a defective cartridge making me drive back and forth, back and forth to prove it to you. No thanks. You are unwilling to take me at my word. That says more about you and your business ethics than about me "proving" the truth of my complaint. Unacceptable.

Tried giving them a second time and the customer service, once again was horrible. Online price didn’t match the price in store. The front desk didn’t offer any options or try to help. Just two miserable older people who had zero interest with assisting me. Went a crossed the stress at grass roots and they were incredible answering all my questions. They have signs perfectly displaying order of operation, that leads you to the menu or the counter. The menu is before the counter with enough space to feel comfortable scanning it without being asked questions. When speaking with the staff, they are progressional and polite. Bryan helped me out tonight and had great manners. He helped me get exactly what I need. I gave three stars because the space itself doesn't feel inviting

Me and my wife went in recently for a visit. Really liked the vibe this place gave off. Lots of plants everywhere. It really gave the place a nice relaxing feeling. The budtender was very good to. He mention the pre roll deal they had. It sounded good so that's what we got. He also recommended a nice strain that was very lovely. Was lied to about price of pufco was charged 300 instead of 250 like I was told but he used my first time 15% for the discount for 250 didn't get the flower I asked for then was sold more concentrate than I asked for. This place is super easy to order from - big fan of the CBD tincture that’s made specifically for dogs - the staff is friendly and informative and I very much enjoyed the interior esthetic. It’s clean, bright and happy with cool graphics.You can order online and pick a designated time to pick up or walk in with your ID. You do need to use a debit card or cash - so come prepared for that and you’ll be asked to show your ID in order to gain entry and again at the counter. They also had Covid clear screens at the registers and a directed route for foot traffic. It was a very friendly atmosphere.I’ll be returning - plus: I’m seeing seriously positive impacts on my pup. Her anxiety/ unease is much alleviated.

Was skeptical at first making the official switch over to dispensary purchases from other acquiring methods, but was absolutely beyond impressed from my very first visit and every one there after, and even choose to commute the hour each way to the South Portland location versus switching off to one of the more local dispensaries . Pre-ordering is super customer friendly and super quick. Pricing is super comparable to other similar suppliers but with the loyalty points program they offer in addition to the weekly deals and discounts continuously running, you’ll never get a better bang for your buck, and the one time ever I had an order not be absolutely perfect was immediately corrected on site without any problem or effort from me and they went above and beyond to not only correct the error but to make up for it by giving a percentage discount off my next purchase, despite my assurance that it was unneeded and unnecessary. Steph are very knowledgeable both in personal experience and opinion but also in factual information about every product and you can’t ask for a better staff team! They will greet you pleasantly At the door and at the counter, most of them will know you by first name and be chill enough to strike up casual but professional conversation while you’re making your purchase. Could not be happier with service and products received from theory and can honestly say they have made a loyal customer out of me for sure 🙂

Would give five stars except the cartridge I bought yesterday is now reading as "LO" on my battery, sure enough the battery is working with other carts, just feeling frustrated that I spent as much as I did, and made the trip just to have it break 24 hours later. My guess is because of the "Theory" logo band they put on their carts, it is affecting the connection between the battery and cart.Other than that super nice place and a lot of variety!

Worst experience at a dispensary I’ve ever had. I’m changing a state driver’s license so I have a paper copy of my new license and my old license which got hole punched with the word void. I have time stamped credit card information from 02/01/22 that says I went to the dmv then to the dispensary they told me old license is fine even though it says void and that I don’t need my paper license. I go into the dispensary show my id again the manager says it’s fine. 3 weeks later I go today still with my old license and am told by the same manager he won’t let me in without seeing the paper copy. Well I didn’t bring it you told me last time I didn’t need it. so you’re either saying you do a poor job of checking id’s and should be reported to portland PD, or you’ve changed your rules without telling me.

This place sucks. Stopped by as we were leaving Maine. Bought a quarter for $120 (no price breaks for buying more - pretty unheard of). I get home to find one nug in the bottle, which is fine, but it didn’t feel dense or anything, so I weighed it, and it was only 5.9 grams. I’ve traveled all over the country and never have I ever had a licensed dispensary short me.

DO NOT BUY PREROLLS! They tasted like the bottom of the bag (leaf and shake) and we're in big black tubes that makes you assume theyr regular sized good joints, but they were a quarter of the length of the tube they were in. They are basically big roaches with a filter. They cost about ten dollars and tasted discussing. Also I asked for the best bud they had, and they gave me an 8th for 55 dollars plus tax and it was LOADED with seeds and smelt like hay. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone.

I’m pretty sure it is called false advertisement when the rosin (Atomic Bomb) is labeled online as “solventless” but after purchasing it, the packaging says it was an ethanol extraction. Overall the products have been nothing special. I’m losing faith for the recreational market due to my experiences with the products I have purchased from here and other rec stores.

I love the excellent service, the flower, and the vape cartridges here. I like to know how much THC is in the product, and the total tac. The only thing I cannot stand about recreational cannabis dispensaries is that the merchandise is so expensive. I know it isn't the dispensaries fault, though. They have to pay big money to test each batch of flower and products. That has to trickle down to the customer, that's how it works. Other than that, I don't have any issues with this beautiful dispensary!!

The lady that opened the door and greeted us tonight was incredibly welcoming and amazing...that experience however didn't carry over to the counter. A gentleman in a pink leopard print pullover for some reason was very stand offish. He acted very annoyed when I asked if any product was on display and I felt like I needed to apologize for having just landed in maine for the first time and was unaware of marijuana store policies. He acted offended when I asked to clarify there were only four types of flower available this evening. I asked about vapes and he vaguely responded "we don't have any today". So I asked whether that meant like today or in general and he responded in an annoyed tone that he just didn't know when they'd get them. It was just a really bizarre negative experience. Product was fine, but there were only a couple items available for sale. Everyone one else was hospitable and the store was beautiful and immaculate. Maybe I just had different expectations having been to many other dispensaries across the country or maybe he was just having a bad day. Oh well, thankfully there are other dispensaries in the area.

Stopped by last week to see what was up. Nice location, convenient, clean, and friendly. Staff seemed knowledgeable in their consultations with other guests though I didn't personally have any questions. I pre-ordered online for a specific pick-up time which I thought was very convenient. The product itself was a high quality, hybrid strain (triple chocolate chip) with good potency, great smells and flavors, and excellent curing and manicuring. I have not been to their competition just down the road but, Theory's prices are substantially more pocket-friendly. Selection is extremely limited at the moment, however but, I imagine this will improve as the Maine recreational system gets some burn in time. I recommend Theory and I plan to revisit them soon.

I have been to Theory Wellness in Great Barrington and all I can say is that they are consistent. The new market is in bad shape with available product. I can't blame them for that. I went to Seaweed and they were closed due to selling out.The experience was pretty quick this weekend, about 20 minutes of wait, which is normal for a new recreational store. The team was very kind and courteous in every way. The store was spotless and clean and I was actually happy they are doing the same Covid response in all of their stores.I got triple chocolate and it was delightful. I am not one to ever review a company, never have time, but someone in the lot was trying to convince me and my partner to not shop there because they are out of state. I was a little confused, the store is in Maine and only employed Maine people. I asked and their product came from Maine as well. I am not sure what that was all about but they weren't harassing, just weird. Whatever is going on I support this company and it's clear they employ many people like me, which is rare. I brought a half full cartridge which was not working back to the dispensary today. My vape pen was not charged and I could not prove the cart was not working so I was told I could not get any credit for the defective cart until I proved it to them that the cart was broken and they "verified" my story. Disturbing, behavior by employees and awful policies.Update 5/7I just read your friendly worded response. I still have a defective cartridge making me drive back and forth, back and forth to prove it to you. No thanks. You are unwilling to take me at my word. That says more about you and your business ethics than about me "proving" the truth of my complaint. Unacceptable.

They have signs perfectly displaying order of operation, that leads you to the menu or the counter. The menu is before the counter with enough space to feel comfortable scanning it without being asked questions. When speaking with the staff, they are progressional and polite. Bryan helped me out tonight and had great manners. He helped me get exactly what I need. I gave three stars because the space itself doesn't feel inviting

This place is super easy to order from - big fan of the CBD tincture that’s made specifically for dogs - the staff is friendly and informative and I very much enjoyed the interior esthetic. It’s clean, bright and happy with cool graphics.You can order online and pick a designated time to pick up or walk in with your ID. You do need to use a debit card or cash - so come prepared for that and you’ll be asked to show your ID in order to gain entry and again at the counter. They also had Covid clear screens at the registers and a directed route for foot traffic. It was a very friendly atmosphere.I’ll be returning - plus: I’m seeing seriously positive impacts on my pup. Was skeptical at first making the official switch over to dispensary purchases from other acquiring methods, but was absolutely beyond impressed from my very first visit and every one there after, and even choose to commute the hour each way to the South Portland location versus switching off to one of the more local dispensaries . Pre-ordering is super customer friendly and super quick. Pricing is super comparable to other similar suppliers but with the loyalty points program they offer in addition to the weekly deals and discounts continuously running, you’ll never get a better bang for your buck, and the one time ever I had an order not be absolutely perfect was immediately corrected on site without any problem or effort from me and they went above and beyond to not only correct the error but to make up for it by giving a percentage discount off my next purchase, despite my assurance that it was unneeded and unnecessary. Steph are very knowledgeable both in personal experience and opinion but also in factual information about every product and you can’t ask for a better staff team! They will greet you pleasantly At the door and at the counter, most of them will know you by first name and be chill enough to strike up casual but professional conversation while you’re making your purchase. Would give five stars except the cartridge I bought yesterday is now reading as "LO" on my battery, sure enough the battery is working with other carts, just feeling frustrated that I spent as much as I did, and made the trip just to have it break 24 hours later. Worst experience at a dispensary I’ve ever had. I’m changing a state driver’s license so I have a paper copy of my new license and my old license which got hole punched with the word void. I have time stamped credit card information from 02/01/22 that says I went to the dmv then to the dispensary they told me old license is fine even though it says void and that I don’t need my paper license. I go into the dispensary show my id again the manager says it’s fine. 3 weeks later I go today still with my old license and am told by the same manager he won’t let me in without seeing the paper copy. Well I didn’t bring it you told me last time I didn’t need it. so you’re either saying you do a poor job of checking id’s and should be reported to portland PD, or you’ve changed your rules without telling me.

I get home to find one nug in the bottle, which is fine, but it didn’t feel dense or anything, so I weighed it, and it was only 5.9 grams. I’ve traveled all over the country and never have I ever had a licensed dispensary short me.

They tasted like the bottom of the bag (leaf and shake) and we're in big black tubes that makes you assume theyr regular sized good joints, but they were a quarter of the length of the tube they were in. They are basically big roaches with a filter. They cost about ten dollars and tasted discussing. Also I asked for the best bud they had, and they gave me an 8th for 55 dollars plus tax and it was LOADED with seeds and smelt like hay. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone.

I’m pretty sure it is called false advertisement when the rosin (Atomic Bomb) is labeled online as “solventless” but after purchasing it, the packaging says it was an ethanol extraction. Overall the products have been nothing special. I’m losing faith for the recreational market due to my experiences with the products I have purchased from here and other rec stores.

I love the excellent service, the flower, and the vape cartridges here. I like to know how much THC is in the product, and the total tac. The only thing I cannot stand about recreational cannabis dispensaries is that the merchandise is so expensive. I know it isn't the dispensaries fault, though. They have to pay big money to test each batch of flower and products. That has to trickle down to the customer, that's how it works. Other than that, I don't have any issues with this beautiful dispensary!!

The lady that opened the door and greeted us tonight was incredibly welcoming and amazing...that experience however didn't carry over to the counter. A gentleman in a pink leopard print pullover for some reason was very stand offish. He acted very annoyed when I asked if any product was on display and I felt like I needed to apologize for having just landed in maine for the first time and was unaware of marijuana store policies. He acted offended when I asked to clarify there were only four types of flower available this evening. I asked about vapes and he vaguely responded "we don't have any today". So I asked whether that meant like today or in general and he responded in an annoyed tone that he just didn't know when they'd get them. It was just a really bizarre negative experience. Product was fine, but there were only a couple items available for sale. Everyone one else was hospitable and the store was beautiful and immaculate. Maybe I just had different expectations having been to many other dispensaries across the country or maybe he was just having a bad day. Oh well, thankfully there are other dispensaries in the area.

Stopped by last week to see what was up. Nice location, convenient, clean, and friendly. Staff seemed knowledgeable in their consultations with other guests though I didn't personally have any questions. I pre-ordered online for a specific pick-up time which I thought was very convenient. The product itself was a high quality, hybrid strain (triple chocolate chip) with good potency, great smells and flavors, and excellent curing and manicuring. I have not been to their competition just down the road but, Theory's prices are substantially more pocket-friendly. Selection is extremely limited at the moment, however but, I imagine this will improve as the Maine recreational system gets some burn in time. I recommend Theory and I plan to revisit them soon.

I have been to Theory Wellness in Great Barrington and all I can say is that they are consistent. The new market is in bad shape with available product. I can't blame them for that. I went to Seaweed and they were closed due to selling out.The experience was pretty quick this weekend, about 20 minutes of wait, which is normal for a new recreational store. The team was very kind and courteous in every way. The store was spotless and clean and I was actually happy they are doing the same Covid response in all of their stores.I got triple chocolate and it was delightful. I am not one to ever review a company, never have time, but someone in the lot was trying to convince me and my partner to not shop there because they are out of state. I was a little confused, the store is in Maine and only employed Maine people. I asked and their product came from Maine as well. I am not sure what that was all about but they weren't harassing, just weird. Whatever is going on I support this company and it's clear they employ many people like me, which is rare.
