I tried writing this at 1 star, but I was not even allowed to by Google. This is a 1 star review.Be careful with this pharmacy. GDF Natchitoches is a better option price wise in this general area/region. This pharmacy is not in a very safe location in the city of Alexandria so be careful of your surroundings when filling here. This is an extremely impoverished and underserved area of the city that the Pharmacy is located in and there is very little security getting back to your cars after picking up. Just be safe.Don’t be fooled by the pharmacist here. There is very little knowledge of the products being sold here. It’s all overpriced, even the CBD items that are sold OTC are overpriced. Look them up online for accurate pricing. A tank of gas cost approximately $40 and can get you to any of the lower priced dispensaries in the state. Just take a trip once a month and save your money.My personal suggestion is to find a pharmacy that does not price gouge. GDF stores have cheaper prices overall, and some have great sales.

It was the first time buying from a dispensary... My husband came to buy something for himself and something for me. We both have our own different health problems...he has mental health issues and pain and I suffer from chronic fatigue syndrome. My husband was happy with his purchase for himself but as for me, I was given something that was supposed to give me energy but didn't. I was told there are strains that treat many conditions, including chronic fatigue syndrome but this I have found is not true. When my husband got his medical marijuana card, chronic fatigue was on the list of health conditions that the med marijuana can treat. So no, if anyone out there sufferes from chronic fatigue syndrome, there's nothing from the dispensary that will help with fatigue. Maybe fatigue related to pain, but other than that these strains are all just gonna make you feel high, and that is the exact opposite of having energy, smh.

This is a great place. I have never had an issue pick up or walk in. The people there have been exceptional every time. I would give them 5 stars but the prices are thru the roof. I have been in dispensaries in other states and they are not even comparable. Price is double than those. I don’t know how much of that is Louisiana. Also there needs to be more sales. A buck or 2 off here and there is not going to make me go in, especially when it’s stuff I am not interested in. Overall to be in the legal side of things, I am happy and appreciate them very much

I have been a customer a year in 3 months. For the past couple months the pharmacy's customer service has been horrible. They have not only cancelled my past 2 previous orders(out of stock) but after reordering this morning (2nd order) with a pick up time scheduled for 3, it wasn't ready until 4:22. They close at 4:30 (weekend) and my drive is at least 30 minutes. WOW!

I know most of that is the state but other area dispensaries offer more price cuts/sales and lower prices. Wish y’all had sales more to help with these awful prices. $65 for an eighth is just ridiculous. Hopefully it will get better in the future.

PROS:-5 STAR ALL AROUND SERVICE(read cons to see why I knocked 1 off)-I was one of the first people to find out I finally qualified as a patient. I was impressed how quickly I was approved (mental illness used to not count)-I had Dr Penny matched to me very same day through one of their site recommended telemedicine clinics with a coupon code and was so happy. She was so cool and helpful talking me through everything.-Over time (Over 1 & 1/2 years) the prices dropped a little bit, sometimes they have decent, but rare occasional sales, most of the staff are very friendly and personable. Line moves quickly.CONS:-KNOCKED 1 OFF BC THERE IS NO APP OR WAY TO TEXT/SEND MSG TO STAFF (phone recording system is way too long, almost deters caller into hanging up)-huge issue not being able to send a simple message to tech or staff and then be able to wait for a reply instead of have to call over and over or show up to crowd the workers/interrupt them filling other orders.-No Text Message System that is functional (Jane needs to get it together or switch to another platform like Rx Local)-The prices used to be MUCH MUCH higher (id say near 60% above black market) when it first became available in dispensary. Understood, it is taxed and treated almost like narcotic meds without insurance options (yes you pay out of pocket)-Prices can get to the point it is unaffordable to most who ACTUALLY need it.-I've felt like a bit of a burden having to call and check on an order before leaving (I drive from out of town) if the scheduled pick up time has already passed because there is no patient messaging portal.-Used to have amazing sales on bud that rivaled street prices and very well could have helped people feel they could attain their card and medicate legally instead.-Only sales are on merch, no 7G popcorn bags anymore, no reward/point system, merch is the only thing kept on sale.I'd rather have more affordable flower / bundles than the option of delivery.Website is very cluttered and hard to navigate to what you are looking for. Unsure who designed it but I am an SEO specialist and after using TMCLA online ordering for about 2 years I feel I could suggest many efficient ways to get information across better on the site.All in all, you won't find medical grade products around here anywhere else. Not even out of town because Louisiana does not give you a physical MMJ card. Only a faxed recommendation. I hope they go back to having sales on flower and more variety again, the carts/tincts/edibles are getting old and too expensive to make last if you are actually needing this medication like me. It's kept me off the black market but lately with all the issues, I may not be renewing my card when it expires. So sad to see a good thing become too much too fast. 🙁 I hope a human reads this and considers the feedback of those who are actively recruiting more patients to bring revenue in.

Why are they only open M-F ??Most people work M-F and can’t get there by 4:30. They are supposed to be serving a wide area and large population. The hours are a great disadvantage for those in need ! A half day Saturday and/or a once a week late closing is just so simple to accommodate your patients. Come on man!!

I’m a pain patient with PTSD and use marijuana to help with the pain and anxiety instead of 4 different pills. This day and age it’s difficult for a pain patient just to get their medicine even when they follow medication directions. The environment inside is designed to make you feel comfortable while you’re waiting. Now, what makes this place really stand out is the staff. They WANT to help their patients and it shows!! If you have questions or concerns about a product you’ll get answers in a clear, concise, and friendly manner. I’ve used several pharmacy/dispensary locations in Louisiana and this is by far the best! MedCab is run more like a dispensary you would see in states that have been doing medical marijuana for years. So far, I haven’t had one negative experience here. Understood, it is taxed and treated almost like narcotic meds without insurance options (yes you pay out of pocket)-Prices can get to the point it is unaffordable to most who ACTUALLY need it.-I've felt like a bit of a burden having to call and check on an order before leaving (I drive from out of town) if the scheduled pick up time has already passed because there is no patient messaging portal.-Used to have amazing sales on bud that rivaled street prices and very well could have helped people feel they could attain their card and medicate legally instead.-Only sales are on merch, no 7G popcorn bags anymore, no reward/point system, merch is the only thing kept on sale.I'd rather have more affordable flower / bundles than the option of delivery.Website is very cluttered and hard to navigate to what you are looking for. Unsure who designed it but I am an SEO specialist and after using TMCLA online ordering for about 2 years I feel I could suggest many efficient ways to get information across better on the site.All in all, you won't find medical grade products around here anywhere else. Not even out of town because Louisiana does not give you a physical MMJ card. Only a faxed recommendation. I hope they go back to having sales on flower and more variety again, the carts/tincts/edibles are getting old and too expensive to make last if you are actually needing this medication like me. It's kept me off the black market but lately with all the issues, I may not be renewing my card when it expires. So sad to see a good thing become too much too fast. 🙁 I hope a human reads this and considers the feedback of those who are actively recruiting more patients to bring revenue in.

Why are they only open M-F ??Most people work M-F and can’t get there by 4:30. They are supposed to be serving a wide area and large population. The hours are a great disadvantage for those in need ! A half day Saturday and/or a once a week late closing is just so simple to accommodate your patients. Come on man!!

This day and age it’s difficult for a pain patient just to get their medicine even when they follow medication directions. The environment inside is designed to make you feel comfortable while you’re waiting. Now, what makes this place really stand out is the staff. They WANT to help their patients and it shows!! If you have questions or concerns about a product you’ll get answers in a clear, concise, and friendly manner.
