My experience was great. There was only one pharmacist working and of course the lobby was completely full. I felt so bad for the people behind the counter. Updated!!I've been a customer here since this was Hope Pharmacy and have continued to be a customer through the GDF transition.The staff, especially a couple of associates in particular, are very helpful.Thank you for adding this back to your site!! -> However, the website no longer gives vital information about the products. I can't shop and order new products online with confidence anymore. I can't tell what the products are for.. There are no product descriptions anymore describing if the product is good for mind or body, or what it's meant to help with.. such as pain, sleep, anxiety, etc...No customer reviews on individual products detailing how that particular product worked or didn't work for them. This feature is needed! Please add more info for customers to be able to shop your website and be informed.I've had trouble picking up orders a few times due to the system glitching. Ex: order history missing and my name as the authorized pick up falling off a family member's acct.I have to break away from work to pick up orders. Leaving without an order just to have to take the time to come back again is difficult.

Now that Good Day has taken over, this dispensary is SO awesome to visit and experience. Their staff is well-trained to answer questions and provide support at the digital ordering board. It used to take 3 to 4 days to get your RX, now you can get it in 20 mins, if you want to wait. Its much more friendly and supportive environment now that Hope Pharmacy is gone. Everyone I speak with while waiting seems to agree that this dispensary is much more professional and inviting to its clients. They are always adding different paraphernalia and they explain how to use every bit of it. I LOVE this dispensary now, even their security guards are friendly and positive. What a difference new ownership made!

When it was HOPE pharmacy it was much better. Since good day took over they have reduced the veterans discount from 22% down to 15% and now down to 10%, the senior discount is not what it used to be and now they are doing away with the rewards points. You don't find any of this out until you actually go to the facility to pick up your order and are told that these are being done away with because Good Day doesn't do these types of discounts. It's cheaper to buy the stuff on the streets than at the "pharmacy"!

None of their systems make sense. You can't order if all slots are filled when ordering on line, you can't make a order on the phone, you can go in and still order from kiosk machines, but when you live 60 miles away and that's 1 way for me 120 miles round trip, and then get over there and kiosk machines will probably be full. I understand why people are getting visitors passes for Arkansas it's well worth the $50 every 3 months you pay, just to not put up with the hassles of this place. They make it impossible to get and afford. Do better if you want better reviews! And then when you write a comment and they come back with comment we are sorry please contact us, but when you contact them they are rude and not helpful at all!! Can't answer any questions. And now they stopped putting the date your medical marijuana expires on prescriptions so you can't use the new labels for our if state cards, you have to get a letter from your doctor. Anyway they can screw us out of going out of state for help!!! 😩

Changed prices from the online order to when I went to get it. Advertised 30% off online, and then when I got there they tried to say that it was only 30% if I picked it up that day (Black Friday), but it wouldn't let me schedule an order for that day. In the state of Louisiana this is unethical if not illegal. They allowed me to place an order at that 30% off price. There was absolutely no disclaimer anywhere that specified it had to be picked up on Black Friday. Which if you scroll down in these reviews...Black Friday pickup involved standing in a line for multiple hours.They are extremely unorganized in general, but blamed corporate for the website's deceptive promotion. I've spent at least $2,000 there, but they made it very clear that my business meant nothing to them. And then acted like I was a nuisance when I had a problem with their lack of integrity. Completely dishonest way of doing business, and in the absence of resolution to the matter I think they've lost me as a customer.They recommend you call their customer service number on these reviews, but they hardly answer their phone anyway. They say they're committed to service and customer experience, so if that's true, then they actually just really aren't good at any of it. Prices are way too high, the employees are rude, and even speak of using their own product. The lines are abysmally long, and that's just insult to injury as it is. It's not this much of a hassle or expense of time and money to find product on the streets that would pass all the same tests that their products do.*UPDATE* "Owner" that commented on this review (Doug) does NOT own the pharmacy. He owns Boudreaux's Specialty Compounding Pharmacy. Their system also double charged me an atm fee along with their posted debit card fee, but I didn't use their atm at all. No resolution was made, so don't be fooled by the comment made on this review. He was probably just trying to hide the fact he didn't care while Good Day Farm was in the process of buying Hope Pharmacy.

They were pretty busy but Ryan his took time to walk me through all of their products and accesories. I really appreciated that!! My RX took maybe 15 mins to be filled. Super quick. It was over priced. I got a gram of wax was the worst tasting thing I have ever smoked. Who ever made it used trimmings and it was runny oil. Not wax like it is advertised! I through it away.55$ in the trash. The flower was ok. It was 55$ for one 1/8.

How this place can call themselves a “pharmacy” is beyond me. I’ve been to dispensaries that treat their customers more like patients than this joke of a place. No matter what day or what time you go, be prepared to wait. And wait. And wait some more. Same day orders trump orders that were placed several days prior. I can guarantee that no matter what expected pick up time you have you will NEVER get your order at that time. The building is extremely small for the amount of traffic that comes through the door. So much so they have to have security to control the line. Some people are here for anxiety and a room full of 15+ people is not ideal. Black Friday was the worst time to pick up anything. Ya finally a decent deal on mediocre bud, but even though my order was placed 2 days prior I waited in line outside in the cold for an hour and a half and waited an additional half hr after giving my ID because it STILL was not ready!!! This is the most unprofessional and incompetent DISPENSARY I’ve ever been to. The “pharmacists” have no idea what deals are stackable and which aren’t, don’t know what strands are indica, hybrid, or sativa. Can barely answer questions on potency or effects of different strands. Honestly would you see a doctor that didn’t know how to diagnose you? Or have you ever been to a CVS and the pharmacist not be able to tell you how your medication will make you feel? Aside from their products being way overly priced, the wait time, and the pure lack of management, the website indicated all discounts will be reflected during checkout, they were not. Had they have been, I would’ve spent more and maybe waiting 2 hrs, standing outside in the cold would have been worth it. If there was another place closer to my home (also consider I drive 45 min to an hr to get there) I would definitely shop there, even if we’re as pricey at Hope, I’d go simply because it would HAVE to be better than here.

What a nightmare. Waited 2 hours in line for an order that had been ready for 2 days. What is the purpose of ordering online and scheduling a pick up day? Watching people who placed same day order get there name called to jump to the front of the line is ridiculous. Staff seems to be always short staffed and on edge. It was ran more efficiently with the previous owner. Won't be going back until they get it fixed, I can drive to Arkansas and back in less time and is significantly cheaper. The convivence of getting locally is gone.

Used to be a decent enough shop. Now, it doesn't matter when you come during the day, you will face a line out of the door, poor management and at least 30 minutes of confined space with other irritated customers.They should have opened another store a year ago. There's no competition for them so they'll just keep counting their cash while the customers take a backseat. Not to mention the prices are double what youd expect to pay.I chose this option originally for the convenience vs trying to land off the street. It's no longer the more convenient option.

You better call first before driving all the way here so you don’t waste your time and gas. They are charging more then double here then the pharmacy in Ark. I’ve spent 3 hours total in the last two days for one product. Then staff says please be patient we just started a new system. Ok what’s the excuse for the last several months! They need to get it together! I can’t wait for other pharmacies to open in our area, and listening to the always packed waiting room so does everyone else. You can literally drive to Arkansas pay half price and be back before you even make it through their ridiculous line.

Today 9/21/2023 I pay for product in cash and cashier says no receipts are given with cash transaction (but a fee applies with debit transactions and last time when I asked for that receipt it was a problem) this is laughing customer service I believe due to being seen as jokes by staff. Anyone who spends their money should have the option of having proof of that paid transaction in regards and respect to supply and demand if nothing else (debit or cash). I been going here over a year and customer service has plummeted. The customers are the reason training was even going on today don't carry on as though if we did not exist this business still would. I have been at this place from the start- about 3 years now. I get oils and initially, it was easy to get. They did same day refills and answered the phone/spoke to patients. Over time, as they got busy, the customer service aspect has greatly declined and I began to feel more like a number. A few weeks ago I went in to grab a bottle of oil before going out of town, and I was refused when in the past this was not an issue at all. Not only was I told I had to order 2 days in advance, the the young lady was snarky and said oh well when I told her I was going out of town and needed it for anxiety. Came back from my trip and ordered online 3 days before my pick up. They didn’t have the flavor I usually get at that time. Went to pick up and was one of 2 people in line. I got barked at by the guy behind the counter bc I went to the left like I had for the last 3 years and not to the right- didn’t see the new sign and this change was new for me. Got to the pay window and I asked if they had a different flavor yet bc I really didn’t want chocolate but that was all they had three days ago. I was told whatever was on the website is what they had. He would not look. The other guy did look and saw they now had citrus in but they refused to swap me even though it was the same price! I don’t mind ordering in advance but why not accommodate your customer when you get different flavors between order and pick up? It’s not hard to drop a box in a bag- not like they had to weight out plant for me and they were not busy at all! Their customer service has just really gone down hill and I suspect it’s bc they are the only game in town! I wish another dispensary would open up to give them a run for their money. Meanwhile I’m stuck! Tried to move my RX but that would mean an extra hour drive and I already drive an over to get to this place.

I don’t even know where to start with this place. First, my husband talks to his doctor who informs him that everything has been sent to the pharmacy. Being his first time doing this we knew nothing. We tried calling. Nope, can’t get through to a live person! We left a phone message first thing in the morning, then another in the early afternoon. Never heard anything back. Their website gives NO instructions/information for beginning patients. We live over an hour from Shreveport. My husband talked to his doctor again & he said to just go up there. My husband drove an hour and a half to get there this morning to be told his prescription got sent to another pharmacy 2 hours away. What a nightmare. This was kismet though because now he has a wonderful pharmacy in Alexandria where they actually answer the phone and help their patients.. Don’t waste your time here, especially if you’re just starting out. Other pharmacies are NOT like this… You don’t have to settle; just go to Alexandria or Texarkana & save yourself a lot of grief & anxiety.

What I like most is they offer a delivery service to those who live outside of the Shreveport/Bossier area can have it come straight to their home. The delivery guy, Ryan, is such a friendly and nice guy. I use the edibles and I love all the different choices they offer. This has helped my medical condition tremendously I actually get a good night sleep...if your looking for a good Pharmacy to get your medicine from pick Hope they are wonderful

I’ve given a review before and it was mixed. It was also early on in the process before they had a good system in place. This time when I visited they had two people in the front that were highly knowledgeable and helpful. Hope had heavy traffic and was moving it quickly. People had a multitude of questions and problems about the products or their eligibility. However, it didn’t hang them up and kept it moving along at a good pace without sacrificing customer service. I can say it was a much more pleasurable experience and I’ll be back to see them soon. Also, one guy upfront is pretty dang funny!! Appreciate the laughs!!
Really surprised at some of the negative reviews. LA law is what it is. Hope is less expensive than the other in-state options and although these prices are sometimes even 15% higher than recreation prices in Illinois, there’s no tax - vs IL 35%+ depending on the product.The people at Hope are very nice. They didn’t make the laws but they are also backed up with so many orders and it’s a bummer you have to wait a day or two for orders sometimes.Best feature for those outside of the city → delivery to rural communities for $5 per order, and the driver is super helpful!

If you buy something online, you have to wait three days before picking it up. During that time they will sell your order and then tell you they cannot complete your order when it’s time for you to pick it up because they are out of stock. prices are still outrageous even though the owner said they would drop a year ago and quality of the flower is horrible. Good staff, clean facilities, good service mostly. For the extremely high cost of your flower the THC percentage must increase significantly. I’m a 100% combat disabled. I use the flower to treat my PTSD, also to treat depression and anxiety disorders. I used the flower to help with pain management for my disk in my back and neck. Must have higher THC % to counter act the body building a natural tolerance. For the price, the quality (THC percentage) needs to greatly increase to properly treat my symptoms. Looking forward to seeing Hope Pharmacy expanding its products

Great employees whom are also fairly knowledgeable when it comes to both the products they carry here and how to handle issues with customers. Normally the pharmacy is pretty busy but the line does move steadily. I have only been on the medical program for a few months and I have seen more products added and small price drops across the board. Hopefully with more people coming to the program and more changes in regulations we can continue to see more improvements for this program.

Thc contents are low across the board though.The real reason for 4 instead of 5 stars had to do with the growing pains the state seems to have to provide comparable and diverse thc medication in Louisiana.As mentioned here before, prices are outrageous- about three times that of the west coast dispensaries and pharmacies.Do bring time for your first appointment with pharmacist, and keep in mind the 24-72 hour filling period when you order.Overall happy to have the medical option and hoping that the state gets their act together for providing better and more diverse product.

More than 3 times what cost is in California or honestly at you dealers house they have the stuff from California and shipped it here for less than a third the price of hope. And $200 for medical card to get weed that’s 3x overpriced?!? Also the variety sucks. They have 3 weak products to choose from. Such a shame. I was excited that Louisiana legalized.

The prices at this place is highway robbery. It cost the same amount to raise a plant with low THC as it does high THC. There should be no difference in the cost between the two. In most prescription drugs you pay for more milligrams of the medicine. With this they charge you whatever it takes even though you're getting the same amount. According to Louisiana law, it looks like they will allow some new dispensaries. But it will only be available to the people that own the current dispensaries. Lastly the people that work there do try. And they are nice. But the choices and the prices are just silly.

If this is the face of legalized cannabis, we’re all screwed. They do not answer the phone. Ever. The waiting room is populated by tweakers. I was told I would be notified of my order via text within 24-48 hours. Never heard a thing. When I poked my head in four weeks later, I basically got an “oops” and was told I’d have to go through the whole process again. I’d rather chew fiberglass. With their hours, it’s impossible for someone who is employed to come by anyway. Typically I argue that cannabis use does not affect cognition and motivation, but this place makes a serious argument to the contrary.

****EDIT****This is an all inclusive pharmacy that makes me feel welcomed and appreciated. Yes, the medicine is expensive and most people have a long drive. However, it isn’t a Hope Pharmacy problem. The pharmacist they have on staff are easy to talk to about any condition you may have and a consultation room is provided for that reason. Two rooms actually. I like the fact they don’t call me by a number like cattle and do treat me with compassion. Eventually pricing will go down and options for treatment will go up. I have full confidence that those savings will be passed to the patients when it’s all said and done.***EDIT***Well, I’ve had to eat words before… as the business has gotten busier the experience continues to go down. This is the weirdest Pharmacy/Dispensary that I’ve visited. The way things are being done changes quite often. Talking to someone on the phone is almost impossible unless you leave a message and wait around all day for them to call you back. The prices have remained sky high. Pax cartridges cost the same no matter where Hope gets their supply. Granddaddy Purple costs $20 more than Blue Dream, Mimosa, etc… no reason for that. Although prices do remain high statewide there are other pharmacies that are more efficient and cheaper in Louisiana with better patient care. Theres a huge disconnect with this pharmacy and it’s patients. While you’re standing in a line of 20 people (not embellishing) all grumbling about service you should change the way things are being handled.

Infact, the , Rosin has BHO bubbles all inside this dark green, melted Laffy taffy consistency extract. SCARY STUFF... after only one dab, I knew something wasn't right. I initially started to hear it crackle and pop with a harsh exhale after ... I am truly disappointed in Shreveport's attempt to produce quality medicine for our area .. This is an all inclusive pharmacy that makes me feel welcomed and appreciated. Yes, the medicine is expensive and most people have a long drive. However, it isn’t a Hope Pharmacy problem. The pharmacist they have on staff are easy to talk to about any condition you may have and a consultation room is provided for that reason. Two rooms actually. I like the fact they don’t call me by a number like cattle and do treat me with compassion. Eventually pricing will go down and options for treatment will go up. I have full confidence that those savings will be passed to the patients when it’s all said and done. Thanks for all your help!!

Had a recommendation from Physician & Licensed Social Worker, but was refused service from this Pharmacist, as apposed to West Monroe's Pharmacist, because I hadn't exhausted using psych meds for atleast 30 days. West Monroe 4x as far. The processed Flower easily costs 1.33x+ average. Called my state reps advocating for more growers as I'm very priced out, atleast until regular flower is legal. Reluctantly, I'll have to learn to go without for now.

Only pharmacy I have ever been givin issues as to what route or administration I want . Conflicting information from dr to pharmacy , they recommend going to another pharmacy as this is the only one who really gives issues over edible vs inhaler . I know what works best for me and being told I must get this or that doesn’t match what dr says . I recommend they’re nice but they need to be on same page

Easy to deal with and very nice people. The only reason it's not 5 stars is because I can't use my debit card and I hate using cash. Cash is gross, I hate touching it and I also have ATM fees when getting it out. Other than that, they are clean, friendly, quick, informative. I would recommend to everyone.

Very helpful and caring staff, but the product is too expensive not to mention you pay the physicians office every time you get a refill which is twice a month. Add on the cost of the product and it's too expensive and not strong enough. But I do think the staff is great; this issue is beyond them.

    My experience was great. There was only one pharmacist working and of course the lobby was completely full. I felt so bad for the people behind the counter. Any delay that was occuring was of no fault of theirs but of course they take the heat!!!You'd think customers would be more happy picking up weed!If the owners happen to see this, your cashier's were awesome and deserve dinner on you ✌️💚🍃🌬️Patrick is who waited on me.     Updated!!I've been a customer here since this was Hope Pharmacy and have continued to be a customer through the GDF transition.The staff, especially a couple of associates in particular, are very helpful.Thank you for adding this back to your site!! -> However, the website no longer gives vital information about the products. I can't shop and order new products online with confidence anymore. I can't tell what the products are for.. There are no product descriptions anymore describing if the product is good for mind or body, or what it's meant to help with.. such as pain, sleep, anxiety, etc...No customer reviews on individual products detailing how that particular product worked or didn't work for them. This feature is needed! Please add more info for customers to be able to shop your website and be informed.I've had trouble picking up orders a few times due to the system glitching. Ex: order history missing and my name as the authorized pick up falling off a family member's acct.I have to break away from work to pick up orders. Leaving without an order just to have to take the time to come back again is difficult.

    Now that Good Day has taken over, this dispensary is SO awesome to visit and experience. Their staff is well-trained to answer questions and provide support at the digital ordering board. It used to take 3 to 4 days to get your RX, now you can get it in 20 mins, if you want to wait. Its much more friendly and supportive environment now that Hope Pharmacy is gone. Everyone I speak with while waiting seems to agree that this dispensary is much more professional and inviting to its clients. They are always adding different paraphernalia and they explain how to use every bit of it. I LOVE this dispensary now, even their security guards are friendly and positive. What a difference new ownership made!

    When it was HOPE pharmacy it was much better. Since good day took over they have reduced the veterans discount from 22% down to 15% and now down to 10%, the senior discount is not what it used to be and now they are doing away with the rewards points. You don't find any of this out until you actually go to the facility to pick up your order and are told that these are being done away with because Good Day doesn't do these types of discounts. It's cheaper to buy the stuff on the streets than at the "pharmacy"!

    None of their systems make sense. You can't order if all slots are filled when ordering on line, you can't make a order on the phone, you can go in and still order from kiosk machines, but when you live 60 miles away and that's 1 way for me 120 miles round trip, and then get over there and kiosk machines will probably be full. I understand why people are getting visitors passes for Arkansas it's well worth the $50 every 3 months you pay, just to not put up with the hassles of this place. They make it impossible to get and afford. Do better if you want better reviews! And then when you write a comment and they come back with comment we are sorry please contact us, but when you contact them they are rude and not helpful at all!! Can't answer any questions. And now they stopped putting the date your medical marijuana expires on prescriptions so you can't use the new labels for our if state cards, you have to get a letter from your doctor. Anyway they can screw us out of going out of state for help!!! 😩

    Changed prices from the online order to when I went to get it. Advertised 30% off online, and then when I got there they tried to say that it was only 30% if I picked it up that day (Black Friday), but it wouldn't let me schedule an order for that day. In the state of Louisiana this is unethical if not illegal. They allowed me to place an order at that 30% off price. There was absolutely no disclaimer anywhere that specified it had to be picked up on Black Friday. Which if you scroll down in these reviews...Black Friday pickup involved standing in a line for multiple hours.They are extremely unorganized in general, but blamed corporate for the website's deceptive promotion. I've spent at least $2,000 there, but they made it very clear that my business meant nothing to them. And then acted like I was a nuisance when I had a problem with their lack of integrity. Completely dishonest way of doing business, and in the absence of resolution to the matter I think they've lost me as a customer.They recommend you call their customer service number on these reviews, but they hardly answer their phone anyway. They say they're committed to service and customer experience, so if that's true, then they actually just really aren't good at any of it. Prices are way too high, the employees are rude, and even speak of using their own product. The lines are abysmally long, and that's just insult to injury as it is. It's not this much of a hassle or expense of time and money to find product on the streets that would pass all the same tests that their products do.*UPDATE* "Owner" that commented on this review (Doug) does NOT own the pharmacy. He owns Boudreaux's Specialty Compounding Pharmacy. Their system also double charged me an atm fee along with their posted debit card fee, but I didn't use their atm at all. No resolution was made, so don't be fooled by the comment made on this review. He was probably just trying to hide the fact he didn't care while Good Day Farm was in the process of buying Hope Pharmacy.

    I am extremely happy with the service here! I was able to speak to the pharmacist, think their name was Ryan, about which products would be perfect for me as a new patient. They were pretty busy but Ryan his took time to walk me through all of their products and accesories. I really appreciated that!! My RX took maybe 15 mins to be filled. Super quick.     It was over priced. I got a gram of wax was the worst tasting thing I have ever smoked. Who ever made it used trimmings and it was runny oil. Not wax like it is advertised! I through it away.55$ in the trash. The flower was ok. It was 55$ for one 1/8.

I’m grateful for this place and hope the new owner, GDF, is able to expand sooner than later!     How this place can call themselves a “pharmacy” is beyond me. I’ve been to dispensaries that treat their customers more like patients than this joke of a place. No matter what day or what time you go, be prepared to wait. And wait. And wait some more. Same day orders trump orders that were placed several days prior. I can guarantee that no matter what expected pick up time you have you will NEVER get your order at that time. The building is extremely small for the amount of traffic that comes through the door. So much so they have to have security to control the line. Some people are here for anxiety and a room full of 15+ people is not ideal. Black Friday was the worst time to pick up anything. Ya finally a decent deal on mediocre bud, but even though my order was placed 2 days prior I waited in line outside in the cold for an hour and a half and waited an additional half hr after giving my ID because it STILL was not ready!!! This is the most unprofessional and incompetent DISPENSARY I’ve ever been to. The “pharmacists” have no idea what deals are stackable and which aren’t, don’t know what strands are indica, hybrid, or sativa. Can barely answer questions on potency or effects of different strands. Honestly would you see a doctor that didn’t know how to diagnose you? Or have you ever been to a CVS and the pharmacist not be able to tell you how your medication will make you feel? Aside from their products being way overly priced, the wait time, and the pure lack of management, the website indicated all discounts will be reflected during checkout, they were not. Had they have been, I would’ve spent more and maybe waiting 2 hrs, standing outside in the cold would have been worth it. If there was another place closer to my home (also consider I drive 45 min to an hr to get there) I would definitely shop there, even if we’re as pricey at Hope, I’d go simply because it would HAVE to be better than here.

    What a nightmare. Waited 2 hours in line for an order that had been ready for 2 days. What is the purpose of ordering online and scheduling a pick up day? Watching people who placed same day order get there name called to jump to the front of the line is ridiculous. Staff seems to be always short staffed and on edge. It was ran more efficiently with the previous owner. Won't be going back until they get it fixed, I can drive to Arkansas and back in less time and is significantly cheaper. The convivence of getting locally is gone.

Now, it doesn't matter when you come during the day, you will face a line out of the door, poor management and at least 30 minutes of confined space with other irritated customers.They should have opened another store a year ago. There's no competition for them so they'll just keep counting their cash while the customers take a backseat. They choose to close and open when they want. You better call first before driving all the way here so you don’t waste your time and gas. They are charging more then double here then the pharmacy in Ark. I’ve spent 3 hours total in the last two days for one product. Then staff says please be patient we just started a new system. Ok what’s the excuse for the last several months! They need to get it together! I can’t wait for other pharmacies to open in our area, and listening to the always packed waiting room so does everyone else. You can literally drive to Arkansas pay half price and be back before you even make it through their ridiculous line.

    Today 9/21/2023 I pay for product in cash and cashier says no receipts are given with cash transaction (but a fee applies with debit transactions and last time when I asked for that receipt it was a problem) this is laughing customer service I believe due to being seen as jokes by staff. Anyone who spends their money should have the option of having proof of that paid transaction in regards and respect to supply and demand if nothing else (debit or cash). I been going here over a year and customer service has plummeted. The customers are the reason training was even going on today don't carry on as though if we did not exist this business still would.     I have been at this place from the start- about 3 years now. I get oils and initially, it was easy to get. They did same day refills and answered the phone/spoke to patients. Over time, as they got busy, the customer service aspect has greatly declined and I began to feel more like a number. A few weeks ago I went in to grab a bottle of oil before going out of town, and I was refused when in the past this was not an issue at all. Not only was I told I had to order 2 days in advance, the the young lady was snarky and said oh well when I told her I was going out of town and needed it for anxiety. Came back from my trip and ordered online 3 days before my pick up. They didn’t have the flavor I usually get at that time. Went to pick up and was one of 2 people in line. I got barked at by the guy behind the counter bc I went to the left like I had for the last 3 years and not to the right- didn’t see the new sign and this change was new for me. Got to the pay window and I asked if they had a different flavor yet bc I really didn’t want chocolate but that was all they had three days ago. I was told whatever was on the website is what they had. He would not look. The other guy did look and saw they now had citrus in but they refused to swap me even though it was the same price! I don’t mind ordering in advance but why not accommodate your customer when you get different flavors between order and pick up? It’s not hard to drop a box in a bag- not like they had to weight out plant for me and they were not busy at all! Their customer service has just really gone down hill and I suspect it’s bc they are the only game in town! I wish another dispensary would open up to give them a run for their money. Meanwhile I’m stuck! Tried to move my RX but that would mean an extra hour drive and I already drive an over to get to this place.

It isn't true that the "customer is always right" because sometimes the customer is having a "lack of understanding.". Anyway, this place helps me physically and mentally.     I don’t even know where to start with this place. First, my husband talks to his doctor who informs him that everything has been sent to the pharmacy. Being his first time doing this we knew nothing. We tried calling. Nope, can’t get through to a live person! We left a phone message first thing in the morning, then another in the early afternoon. Never heard anything back. Their website gives NO instructions/information for beginning patients. We live over an hour from Shreveport. My husband talked to his doctor again & he said to just go up there. My husband drove an hour and a half to get there this morning to be told his prescription got sent to another pharmacy 2 hours away. What a nightmare. This was kismet though because now he has a wonderful pharmacy in Alexandria where they actually answer the phone and help their patients.. Don’t waste your time here, especially if you’re just starting out. Other pharmacies are NOT like this… You don’t have to settle; just go to Alexandria or Texarkana & save yourself a lot of grief & anxiety.

    I have been a patient of Hope Pharmacy since the start. I think they are a great group of people. What I like most is they offer a delivery service to those who live outside of the Shreveport/Bossier area can have it come straight to their home. The delivery guy, Ryan, is such a friendly and nice guy. I use the edibles and I love all the different choices they offer. This has helped my medical condition tremendously I actually get a good night sleep...if your looking for a good Pharmacy to get your medicine from pick Hope they are wonderful

    I’ve given a review before and it was mixed. It was also early on in the process before they had a good system in place. This time when I visited they had two people in the front that were highly knowledgeable and helpful. Hope had heavy traffic and was moving it quickly. People had a multitude of questions and problems about the products or their eligibility. However, it didn’t hang them up and kept it moving along at a good pace without sacrificing customer service. I can say it was a much more pleasurable experience and I’ll be back to see them soon. Also, one guy upfront is pretty dang funny!! Appreciate the laughs!!
    Really surprised at some of the negative reviews. LA law is what it is. Hope is less expensive than the other in-state options and although these prices are sometimes even 15% higher than recreation prices in Illinois, there’s no tax - vs IL 35%+ depending on the product.The people at Hope are very nice. They didn’t make the laws but they are also backed up with so many orders and it’s a bummer you have to wait a day or two for orders sometimes.Best feature for those outside of the city → delivery to rural communities for $5 per order, and the driver is super helpful!

    If you buy something online, you have to wait three days before picking it up. During that time they will sell your order and then tell you they cannot complete your order when it’s time for you to pick it up because they are out of stock. prices are still outrageous even though the owner said they would drop a year ago and quality of the flower is horrible. I wouldn’t waste your time with this place. Good day farm in Texarkana is much better priced and quality.

    Good staff, clean facilities, good service mostly. For the extremely high cost of your flower the THC percentage must increase significantly. I’m a 100% combat disabled. I use the flower to treat my PTSD, also to treat depression and anxiety disorders. I used the flower to help with pain management for my disk in my back and neck. Must have higher THC % to counter act the body building a natural tolerance. For the price, the quality (THC percentage) needs to greatly increase to properly treat my symptoms. Looking forward to seeing Hope Pharmacy expanding its products

    Great employees whom are also fairly knowledgeable when it comes to both the products they carry here and how to handle issues with customers. Normally the pharmacy is pretty busy but the line does move steadily. I have only been on the medical program for a few months and I have seen more products added and small price drops across the board. Hopefully with more people coming to the program and more changes in regulations we can continue to see more improvements for this program.

Thc contents are low across the board though.The real reason for 4 instead of 5 stars had to do with the growing pains the state seems to have to provide comparable and diverse thc medication in Louisiana.As mentioned here before, prices are outrageous- about three times that of the west coast dispensaries and pharmacies.Do bring time for your first appointment with pharmacist, and keep in mind the 24-72 hour filling period when you order.Overall happy to have the medical option and hoping that the state gets their act together for providing better and more diverse product.

More than 3 times what cost is in California or honestly at you dealers house they have the stuff from California and shipped it here for less than a third the price of hope. And $200 for medical card to get weed that’s 3x overpriced?!? Also the variety sucks. They have 3 weak products to choose from. Such a shame. I was excited that Louisiana legalized.

    The prices at this place is highway robbery. It cost the same amount to raise a plant with low THC as it does high THC. There should be no difference in the cost between the two. In most prescription drugs you pay for more milligrams of the medicine. With this they charge you whatever it takes even though you're getting the same amount. According to Louisiana law, it looks like they will allow some new dispensaries. But it will only be available to the people that own the current dispensaries. Lastly the people that work there do try. And they are nice. But the choices and the prices are just silly.

    If this is the face of legalized cannabis, we’re all screwed. They do not answer the phone. Ever. The waiting room is populated by tweakers. I was told I would be notified of my order via text within 24-48 hours. Never heard a thing. When I poked my head in four weeks later, I basically got an “oops” and was told I’d have to go through the whole process again. I’d rather chew fiberglass. With their hours, it’s impossible for someone who is employed to come by anyway. Typically I argue that cannabis use does not affect cognition and motivation, but this place makes a serious argument to the contrary.

    ****EDIT****This is an all inclusive pharmacy that makes me feel welcomed and appreciated. Yes, the medicine is expensive and most people have a long drive. However, it isn’t a Hope Pharmacy problem. The pharmacist they have on staff are easy to talk to about any condition you may have and a consultation room is provided for that reason. Two rooms actually. I like the fact they don’t call me by a number like cattle and do treat me with compassion. Eventually pricing will go down and options for treatment will go up. I have full confidence that those savings will be passed to the patients when it’s all said and done.***EDIT***Well, I’ve had to eat words before… as the business has gotten busier the experience continues to go down. This is the weirdest Pharmacy/Dispensary that I’ve visited. The way things are being done changes quite often. Talking to someone on the phone is almost impossible unless you leave a message and wait around all day for them to call you back. The prices have remained sky high. Pax cartridges cost the same no matter where Hope gets their supply. Granddaddy Purple costs $20 more than Blue Dream, Mimosa, etc… no reason for that. Although prices do remain high statewide there are other pharmacies that are more efficient and cheaper in Louisiana with better patient care. Theres a huge disconnect with this pharmacy and it’s patients. While you’re standing in a line of 20 people (not embellishing) all grumbling about service you should change the way things are being handled.

My order was canceled and when I tried to reorder with the correct prices, my pickup slot was no longer available. I called to get everything worked out and did not receive a call back.     BUYERS BEWARE!!! Their $120 for 0.5 gram, Top shelf, Chem OG "Rosin" looks nothing like the picture .. Infact, the , Rosin has BHO bubbles all inside this dark green, melted Laffy taffy consistency extract. SCARY STUFF... after only one dab, I knew something wasn't right. I initially started to hear it crackle and pop with a harsh exhale after ... I am truly disappointed in Shreveport's attempt to produce quality medicine for our area .. I'd be happy to help out, but it seems they just want to make money without the patients experience or wellbeing in mind. Truly unfortunate...

    Mrs. Jennifer Boudreaux Is one of the best pharmacist, ive ever been too. They help you to make sure you get what tou need. And starting jan 1 this year. They will be able to have the flower, or bud. And I just hope pri es come way down. Because with it being my pain mangment, i sum times im not able to afford my med. But HOPE has called me to check on me. They really do care. And they are quick.

    Had a recommendation from Physician & Licensed Social Worker, but was refused service from this Pharmacist, as apposed to West Monroe's Pharmacist, because I hadn't exhausted using psych meds for atleast 30 days. West Monroe 4x as far. The processed Flower easily costs 1.33x+ average. Called my state reps advocating for more growers as I'm very priced out, atleast until regular flower is legal. Reluctantly, I'll have to learn to go without for now.

Conflicting information from dr to pharmacy , they recommend going to another pharmacy as this is the only one who really gives issues over edible vs inhaler . I know what works best for me and being told I must get this or that doesn’t match what dr says . I recommend they’re nice but they need to be on same page

Cash is gross, I hate touching it and I also have ATM fees when getting it out. Other than that, they are clean, friendly, quick, informative. I would recommend to everyone.

    Very helpful and caring staff, but the product is too expensive not to mention you pay the physicians office every time you get a refill which is twice a month. Add on the cost of the product and it's too expensive and not strong enough. But I do think the staff is great; this issue is beyond them.
