The absolute BEST service and incredible staff!I've been a customer for a couple years now, I have pretty extreme c-ptsd and medical Marijuana is one of very few things that gives me any relief and let's me live an enjoyable life again. The staff here are always incredibly welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable, and caring. They have an extremely well versed knowledge of the medical Marijuana system in Iowa, the many various products they offer, and of the conditions that the products are used for. In addition to being extremely knowledgeable the staff has all been incredibly compassionate and kind.Today right before going in to shop I was aggressively catcalled which triggered my c-ptsd and I was having a panic attack as I walked in. The staff went above and beyond to make sure I felt safe and comfortable and helped me calm down. I am so incredibly grateful for their kindness and care especially when I was so scared and panicked.Excellent products and beyond excellent staff!

The prices are outrageous for what they are. You can go anywhere else in the country and get the same product less than half of the price. They say they’re prices are higher because of state taxes, but why would you float the cost of doing business to your “medical patients” when bud and Mary’s are owned by multimillion dollar company. This place is a great place to go to to buy CBN that helps you sleep by itself. If you really have a hard time sleeping you can buy CBD and take that with the CBN to be able to really relax and go to sleep! However make sure you have cash with you because they do not accept any type of debit card or credit card.

Or cause major air bubbles causing you to lose hits seems like 800mg is the new g. Product does work despite critics, just should be sold more fairly by giving people truly what they pay for to stay within the law.

Bring a scale if you're getting wax. An empty puck, without lid, weighs EXACTLY 47.44 grams. Picked up a sealed, 1g puck today, got home, weighed it with only the puck and product to have it weigh a total of 48.19 grams. Giving me a total product weight of only .75 grams exactly. They shorted my TWENTY DOLLARS of an $80 purchase.I guess this is what can be expected from a company with ZERO competition. It's not enough they already get to charge whatever they want because of no competition, but then to short the product by 25%?I think I'll be making regular trips, 2 hours south, to Cameron, MO where they have a REAL dispensary instead of whatever this place is trying to be.Now I know, it's WORTH the drive!

The staff is nice but whenever I have a problem with a product it always seems to be my fault and how my body doesn’t have the proper receptors. I wish this place had some competition locally because I wouldn’t be back. This is our only option in Des Moines and it’s sad.

I wanted to avoid narcotic pain meds if possible. After only 2 initial opiod doses - my pain is being managed COMPLETELY by THC/cannabinoid products. Always 5 star service at Bud &Mary's. Yet to meet a rude staff member and I have been going here for a year. Wait times are never horrible and staff are always efficient while being polite. Not everyone understands what to do with cannabis so we need to be patient and considerate of others.The product line is getting bigger. With 3 new Batch brand cartridges (Indica Sativa Hybrid) all at or above 85%. Not sure about prices but as a veteran i can get the vapes for around $75 per 1 gram cart. There is now a sugar wax available at a bit over $75 per gram. You also still have the original line of .5 gram vapes. Great quality and percentage THC for around $50 i believe. There are also cbd + thc options for those that want to enjoy the medical benefits of both cbd and thc. There are also different strengths and formulations for their edible line. I guess it is more of a thc pill but they are available in up to 20mg thc per tablet. Creams and tinctures are available as well but admittedly i have no experience with them.An Iowa medical marijuana card is easy to get. Literally took me 2 hours to get my appointment and submit my information for my card. Now that the cards are virtual you can be in the dispensary enjoying their products within a few hours of you appointment.DO NOT BELIEVE DISINFORMATION! Get ahold of Veriheal or Green Iowa Clinic. Appointments are not invasive or uncomfortable in the least. Hope this helps!!!!

Cartridge are complete junk. Second time I got it home screwed onto a perfectly fine battery and it burnt it out. I used another one fully charged and 3 hits later it's toast. I have nothing else to use and wouldn't even if I did because it's just going to burn it out and cost me even more money. So like 8 hits and I have two none working batteries. Also, This is supposed to be MEDICAL program for Iowans and you sell products like that are not providing care if they don't work.Your hours are also not for people who actually have jobs and need this medicine.$100 down the drain. They should really think about changing their hours to 10 to 7pm or 8pm because no normal person gets off of work by 4 and if you get off any later then 530 your definitely not making it if ur too far and forget getting anything in the morning because who goes to work after 10am. Just a suggestion that would most likely benefit ur sales and ur customer experience.

I am giving a 3 star rating based on my two visits to the store.My first visit would be rated a 5. Staff was friendly and I was able to get in and out in a timely fashion, overall good experience.Today's visit was a complete 180 to the first and it was completely awful. I checked in and was told I would be called up. I had a 30 minute wait, while waiting, 7 customers came in after me and were served before me. Come to find out,I did not get checked in. I was then put on the list and an 8th customer who had come in after me, was served before me.I have nothing good to say about the 2nd visit and hope this was a one off experience as this is the worst case of customer service I have experienced in a long time.

Also a cartridge that I just bought is not potent at all and they refuse to replace it. I had to buy a brand new one yesterday. Which turned out to be a good one, but they don’t respect customers. This state has always been about capitalism and growing wealthy off the misfortunes of the lower class citizens. It is damn near angering to watch happen and even worse to go through. I’ve had carts from Colorado, California, Las Vegas and Florida, but the Aliviar Comfort Plus carts are hands down the best quality and best tasting cartridges I have ever had. There are no extra flavors, and all you can taste are terpenes. 100% recommend trying them out. I do feel like the pricing here in Iowa should be adjusted as I was only able to get four .5g carts which came to about $300.Overall, Medpharm Iowa is great! The best place to shop if you’re looking for the top shelf products!

And this while I can get a frightening amount of opioids for fifteen bucks. If you have the need for this medication see your doctor and get into the program, it's easy to do and medication from this pharmacy may help you regain a quality of life you may have forgotten existed. I have had an excellent responce to the medication (no more seizures!) and am thankful Iowa has taken the action needed to get the cannabidiol program going. MedPharm and their staff can really help you if your Doctor feels your condition meets the programs requirements. It never hurts to try and it could wind up changing your quality of life for the better.

I traveled 3 hours 1 way to get to this store. I brought my current medical marijuana medicine bottles which we bought from this store last November and said this is exactly what I want, and we wanted 6 months worth because we travel so far. It came to $850. We took our medicine and went home. When we got home we noticed she had given us the wrong stuff. they changed from capsules to tablets and didn't inform us or we would not have bought it. called the store manager and she said we are just stuck with it because once you buy it there are no returns. The girl who waited on us was in to big of a hurry to look at the bottle to know what she was getting for us and we are out almost $1000 dollars with travel expenses because she didn't do her job and look at what we showed her and we trusted her. Don't remember seeing any info in the store stating a no return policy. If you want a business that cares about there patients then don't go here!!!

The absolute BEST service and incredible staff!I've been a customer for a couple years now, I have pretty extreme c-ptsd and medical Marijuana is one of very few things that gives me any relief and let's me live an enjoyable life again. The staff here are always incredibly welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable, and caring. They have an extremely well versed knowledge of the medical Marijuana system in Iowa, the many various products they offer, and of the conditions that the products are used for. In addition to being extremely knowledgeable the staff has all been incredibly compassionate and kind.Today right before going in to shop I was aggressively catcalled which triggered my c-ptsd and I was having a panic attack as I walked in. The staff went above and beyond to make sure I felt safe and comfortable and helped me calm down. The prices are outrageous for what they are. You can go anywhere else in the country and get the same product less than half of the price. They say they’re prices are higher because of state taxes, but why would you float the cost of doing business to your “medical patients” when bud and Mary’s are owned by multimillion dollar company. This place is a great place to go to to buy CBN that helps you sleep by itself. If you really have a hard time sleeping you can buy CBD and take that with the CBN to be able to really relax and go to sleep! However make sure you have cash with you because they do not accept any type of debit card or credit card.

They are great place but the awards is honestly b.s. for even top spenders. Add the prices even for top spenders is b.s as well as pens tend to burn product to fast. Or cause major air bubbles causing you to lose hits seems like 800mg is the new g. Product does work despite critics, just should be sold more fairly by giving people truly what they pay for to stay within the law.

Bring a scale if you're getting wax. An empty puck, without lid, weighs EXACTLY 47.44 grams. Picked up a sealed, 1g puck today, got home, weighed it with only the puck and product to have it weigh a total of 48.19 grams. Giving me a total product weight of only .75 grams exactly. They shorted my TWENTY DOLLARS of an $80 purchase.I guess this is what can be expected from a company with ZERO competition. It's not enough they already get to charge whatever they want because of no competition, but then to short the product by 25%?I think I'll be making regular trips, 2 hours south, to Cameron, MO where they have a REAL dispensary instead of whatever this place is trying to be.Now I know, it's WORTH the drive!

Prices are expensive and half the time they are sold out of the product I want. It’s hard to call yourself a medical dispensary when you are out of medical products constantly. The staff is nice but whenever I have a problem with a product it always seems to be my fault and how my body doesn’t have the proper receptors. I wish this place had some competition locally because I wouldn’t be back. This is our only option in Des Moines and it’s sad.

Way too expensive for mediocre products. Check your cartridge in front of them at the store because if you get a faulty one they will blame you when you try to exchange it. I would absolutely go elsewhere if there was something else nearby.

Amazing and beyond incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and compassionate staff.Quality is top shelf! It's understandable once our state moves ahead - pricing will follow.I'm less than 24hrs post op. I wanted to avoid narcotic pain meds if possible. After only 2 initial opiod doses - my pain is being managed COMPLETELY by THC/cannabinoid products. Had I not been out of it unable to THC dose sooner - I may not of needed the 2 tabs. Bud n Marys patient consultants were key in helping me succeed !!Medically. Legal. In. My. State. And. Why isnt this location open 7 days a week like in Iowa City??? We are a bigger city with more patients and really hard for people who work to have an opportunity to come with such terrible hours. Yall mentioned 6 months ago you would be extending hours but still not seeing that happen. I hope you're looking into this soon. Only way to purchase legally. for a 1g cartridge it's $80. $20 for a battery. Colorado,California, Arizona, Michigan on the recreational side $25-40 for cartridges. Always 5 star service at Bud &Mary's. Yet to meet a rude staff member and I have been going here for a year. Wait times are never horrible and staff are always efficient while being polite. Not everyone understands what to do with cannabis so we need to be patient and considerate of others.The product line is getting bigger. With 3 new Batch brand cartridges (Indica Sativa Hybrid) all at or above 85%. Not sure about prices but as a veteran i can get the vapes for around $75 per 1 gram cart. There is now a sugar wax available at a bit over $75 per gram. You also still have the original line of .5 gram vapes. Great quality and percentage THC for around $50 i believe. There are also cbd + thc options for those that want to enjoy the medical benefits of both cbd and thc. There are also different strengths and formulations for their edible line. I guess it is more of a thc pill but they are available in up to 20mg thc per tablet. Creams and tinctures are available as well but admittedly i have no experience with them.An Iowa medical marijuana card is easy to get. Literally took me 2 hours to get my appointment and submit my information for my card. Now that the cards are virtual you can be in the dispensary enjoying their products within a few hours of you appointment.DO NOT BELIEVE DISINFORMATION! Get ahold of Veriheal or Green Iowa Clinic. Appointments are not invasive or uncomfortable in the least. Hope this helps!!!!

Cartridge are complete junk. Second time I got it home screwed onto a perfectly fine battery and it burnt it out. I used another one fully charged and 3 hits later it's toast. I have nothing else to use and wouldn't even if I did because it's just going to burn it out and cost me even more money. So like 8 hits and I have two none working batteries. Also, This is supposed to be MEDICAL program for Iowans and you sell products like that are not providing care if they don't work.Your hours are also not for people who actually have jobs and need this medicine.$100 down the drain. They should really think about changing their hours to 10 to 7pm or 8pm because no normal person gets off of work by 4 and if you get off any later then 530 your definitely not making it if ur too far and forget getting anything in the morning because who goes to work after 10am. Just a suggestion that would most likely benefit ur sales and ur customer experience.

I am giving a 3 star rating based on my two visits to the store.My first visit would be rated a 5. Staff was friendly and I was able to get in and out in a timely fashion, overall good experience.Today's visit was a complete 180 to the first and it was completely awful. I checked in and was told I would be called up. I had a 30 minute wait, while waiting, 7 customers came in after me and were served before me. Come to find out,I did not get checked in. I was then put on the list and an 8th customer who had come in after me, was served before me.I have nothing good to say about the 2nd visit and hope this was a one off experience as this is the worst case of customer service I have experienced in a long time.

Rude staff, not all, but they think their products are perfectly made and they’re not. I had a cartridge that malfunctioned and they literally didn’t want to exchange it and it was brand new. Also a cartridge that I just bought is not potent at all and they refuse to replace it. I had to buy a brand new one yesterday. Which turned out to be a good one, but they don’t respect customers. And I’ma good customer spending at least $100 every week. Needless to say I’m looking for a better company to give my business to and will update this post when I do.

They got rid of the small price points and replaced them with unaffordable options. They know that they can charge whatever they want and it shows. Good opportunity for the local weed man! This state has always been about capitalism and growing wealthy off the misfortunes of the lower class citizens. It is damn near angering to watch happen and even worse to go through. Two thumbs WAY down!! Bull$hit!

I’ve had carts from Colorado, California, Las Vegas and Florida, but the Aliviar Comfort Plus carts are hands down the best quality and best tasting cartridges I have ever had. There are no extra flavors, and all you can taste are terpenes. 100% recommend trying them out. I do feel like the pricing here in Iowa should be adjusted as I was only able to get four .5g carts which came to about $300.Overall, Medpharm Iowa is great! The best place to shop if you’re looking for the top shelf products!

Service had always been great. However, if I'd followed the guidelines recommended as a care-plan, I'd be shelling out 300 dollars a month for my medication. And this while I can get a frightening amount of opioids for fifteen bucks. Because this is the ONLY game in town, because the prices are twice as high as elsewhere in the country, because the product contains a hilariously low thc level I cannot give this business five stars. Good location and easy to get to. Wonderful staff, very knowledgeable and compassionate presents. If you have the need for this medication see your doctor and get into the program, it's easy to do and medication from this pharmacy may help you regain a quality of life you may have forgotten existed. I have had an excellent responce to the medication (no more seizures!) and am thankful Iowa has taken the action needed to get the cannabidiol program going. MedPharm and their staff can really help you if your Doctor feels your condition meets the programs requirements. It never hurts to try and it could wind up changing your quality of life for the better.

I traveled 3 hours 1 way to get to this store. I brought my current medical marijuana medicine bottles which we bought from this store last November and said this is exactly what I want, and we wanted 6 months worth because we travel so far. It came to $850. We took our medicine and went home. When we got home we noticed she had given us the wrong stuff. they changed from capsules to tablets and didn't inform us or we would not have bought it. called the store manager and she said we are just stuck with it because once you buy it there are no returns. The girl who waited on us was in to big of a hurry to look at the bottle to know what she was getting for us and we are out almost $1000 dollars with travel expenses because she didn't do her job and look at what we showed her and we trusted her. Don't remember seeing any info in the store stating a no return policy. If you want a business that cares about there patients then don't go here!!!
