Cost of product is significantly higher and their rewards. I came on birthday and got told that sucks we are revamping. Definitely gonna take them off the list of to gos.
I have been loyal to this place since opening day. Mostly because I loved the employees and selection but also because of their reward program. After what they did to their customers during the “point switch up”, I will never step foot in another Maribis location ever again. Ending it EARLY and wiping thousands of points is just wrong not to mention a total rip off. In an area where there is now plenty of competition, I’m guessing this will hurt. Good luck!
After adding up all of the money that I have spent in the last 3 years at marabis the amount comes out to 5543.04 you have to work your way up the point system starting at 1x, 1.5x, 2x, 2.5. I am currently at halfway to 2.5 when they take the point system away for readjustment. They make you put in the work for the incentive and then take it away as soon as you are not getting the short end of the stick. I have spoken to workers that don’t agree with the this. They were told that they were somehow losing money when in order to claim an ounce off of points you would have had to have spent 2,000 dollars with the maximum point value meaning you have exceeded my 5500 dollars prior to this. Workers are 10/10, but I will never spend another dollar here after that I tried to contact the manager of the branch in their direct email and never got a response so putting this out there that they do not care at anything management and above and I will be spending less money on all products at the other dispensary in town who also has a value system that remains unchanged.
Always stuck w Maribis over any other IL dispensary bc their reward points system was very rewarding. Now for Nov 2025, theyve "revamped" the rewards. However, as predicted, all these changes harm the customer & help them none. ALL reward items have doubled, if not TRIPLED, how many points they require. A 50mg edible is 150 points, so 100mg should be 300, right? No 100mg is 350 points ? It makes no sense?
Horrible service and horrible products. I spend over 50 dollars on a vape and it stops working after 3 days. They never gave me a charger and none of my phone chargers work. The weed is mid compared to Michigan and the price is 200% more expensive. They won't answer the phone either. This place is raggety as hell and overpriced for the product

Bought a cart that fits a 510 battery. Got home screwed it in and it wouldn’t hit. My other 510 cart hits just fine. Just frustrating that I have to submit a video to prove that the product does not work. I just want a replacement or refund! Who knows how long that will take! Just very inconvenient! I don’t expect to buy a product take it home just to have it not work!
Love the staff and every time I come here for business or pleasure I'm treated very decent. Security is halfway decent everybody is and it's very nice and refreshing. If you have any questions comments or concerns bring them up with your courteous bud tender and they will gladly show you a good recommendation for what you're looking for. So it's nice to keep the second guess work out of it by getting someone else's opinion that's going to be honest with you. Will come again many more times in the future.
The staff here is always so welcoming and efficient. They really do their best to make sure you leave happy. Everyone is super friendly and they give us TOP NOTCH service. They always have deals and fun ways to earn points or to celebrate the seasons. I would highly recommend them and our man in the back Thomas always gives us amazing service whether in store or on the chat on the app. Their quick response time to questions is amazing !! Stop by and tell them I sent you!!!
Both times we’ve been here they haven’t had any disposables. No batteries either. Waste of time.
Great customer service! I would love to give more stars but due to my recent purchase of a few prerolls, I made an online order and nowhere on their website showed that it was thca. I am pretty much allergic to it, I won't go into detail the symptoms I had but the person who checked me out didn't show me the product I was purchasing to make sure everything was right. I called them as soon as I got home to let them know thca is not listed on the website and I was told all prerolls are thca. She was very nice to me about it and I understood the policy about returns. She said they will update the website which I haven't seen it changed yet so if you go to Maribis always make sure they show the product and ask to see the label of percentages. My mistake for not asking, other than that I've had no problems with them. One of the best dispensaries to visit here in Springfield 😊 I will definitely refer my friends and anyone who asks me where to go. I feel safe when I visit to make a purchase. Some places in town are not safe. Thank you Maribis and all the employees there just know you are all very much appreciated. 😊🫶
The guy at the counter was so inconvenienced by our presence. As soon as we walked in he yelled across the room that we needed to come to him. I said we had never been before, we apologized. He was not accommodating at the counter nor did he try to do any conversation. The prices/products aren't good enough to deal with inconsiderate people like that. I'll take my business to ascend just like I did before. We only went to maribis because a tow truck was blocking ascend, and it was going to be a while.

I love going into Denver Dr. and finding Wendell Burns working. Smiling face and always helpful to this old lady. Very patience with me, explains my better deals, and options and, always good for a laugh. Thank you Wendell, you make my day. You need to rub off on some of your fellow employees.
Went here for my first time today and overheard a customer nicely asking for a refund of some sort. The lady behind the counter was just being nasty! She was very rude and the policy that she was “protecting” was asinine. He said he bought something that wasn’t all the way full and had photos and a receipt and she basically told him it sucks for him and was very rude about it. Certainly not the kind of place that I would like to shop! I’ll go to share or ascend. Thanks for making the decision so easy!
Bought 2 half gram carts for 40% off. Didn’t realize that meant that 40% of the carts would be gone before I even opened them. This is the FIFTH time I have bought carts here and had 1/4 or more of the cart gone before I touched it. Went to ascend and bought the exact same cart 4-5 months ago and it was full, so I know it isn’t the manufacturer. I love this shop and usually have a great experience and that’s the only reason I’m leaving 2 stars. Gotta figure out the cart situation, a street drug dealer wouldn’t even rip me off like how I was today. (UPDATE) negative stars if possible. The store manager replied to this post to tell me to come in and tell her about what happened just so she could argue with me in front of the whole store about how it isn’t her job to sell the correct product to the customer. I am a manager of a kitchen line and fully understand quality control. This is by far the worst customer service experience I have EVER had. I was very nice and explained my situation and she was angry AT ME before even answering me. Angry at your customer for wanting the product that they paid for? They will tell you they have nothing to do with the product and it sucks for you. These folks will sell you a half gram cart for FIFTY bucks and then give you .3 and say it’s your fault when you come to ask them about it. I’m a VIP member and I will not ever be back to this establishment. The store manager should be ashamed of how she conducted herself. Disgusting.
NEVER GOING HERE AGAIN.Not once, but twice, they have messed up my order.The first mess-up I had made an order and they gave me 3.5g I didn't even ask for, and paid for without my knowing. I hadn't noticed it until after I left the store. (Admittedly, I should've noticed by the price, but with a med card here in Illinois and after living in California so long, it sounded right to me)The second mess-up was today, I went and got the $60 edible bundle deal and also wanted to redeem my reward for a gram, apparently I made the mistake of not checking the bag before I left again, because they didn't even give me it either. This is honestly pathetic coming from a dispensary, I have never had problems like this with *any* other store I've been to but Maribis. WHY?There should be zero excuse for any orders to have mess ups, also a good amount of your employees seem a bit standoffish, like they don't even want to be there or something??

Learned about maribis from my cannabis class at South West Illinois College, had to stop by on my way home from cannabis festival in st charles Illinois, and I glad I did beautiful place well knowledge staff and very friendly.will definitely visit again, oh I almost forgot about the giant chair.

While I had placed an order on line. One budtender was working. The woman behind me steps out of line goes to the counter and people came out like roaches. Apparently she is a worker there so she deserved first priority. When I said something I was told she was priority . Since I didn't like it I could leave. I did. No respect for customers... The management are all managers.. Nobody's in charge..
